Chapter 435 Its really not easy

It has to be said that there is a reason why the chicken bowl cup has become the supreme wine vessel.

Even if this is an imitation, its quality is very white and delicate, it can be said to be thin, light and transparent.

The white glaze on it is soft and translucent, and the exterior and interior are the same.

The decorative pattern on the cup wall matches the shape of the cup, making it clear and coherent.

The colors of the painting include underglaze blue and white and overglaze bright red, leaf green, aqua green, goose yellow, turmeric, black and other colors.

Techniques such as filling, overlaying, dyeing, and stippling are used.

The blue and white lines are used to outline and flat-dye the lake stones, the flowers are covered with bright red, the leaves are covered with aqua green, the chickens are filled with goose yellow and turmeric, the combs and wings are dotted with red, and the slopes are dyed with green.

The color is applied between shades, and is elegant and bright at the same time. It can be said that it is the master of color application in the flower and bird paintings of Huang Quan, a painter of the Five Dynasties.

The whole picture is full of energy and full of interest in sketching.

Who can imitate such an imitation?

Also, if I could touch this, how many master-level skills would I get?

I won’t go into the formulas of various materials, but the various techniques are worth Chen Wenzhe’s efforts!

Fortunately, there was another one here for comparison. Chen Wenzhe didn't hesitate at all. He directly switched to the one owned by Mr. Liu.

This one looks similar to the other cup and feels similar.

"This chicken bowl cup must be a palace utensil made by the imperial kiln factory in Jingzhen, Chenghua Dynasty of the Ming Dynasty!"

There was no response from the system this time, which shows that this chicken vat cup was made in the Chenghua year of the Ming Dynasty.

The Chenghua Doucai Chicken Cup of the Ming Dynasty is an art treasure among the traditional ceramics of the Han nationality. It was the royal wine cup of the Chenghua Emperor of the Ming Dynasty.

This kind of cup is mentioned in many documents of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and is quite valuable.

"Records of Shenzong" during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty records that "Shenzong's fashionable food, there is a pair of Chenghua color chicken jar cups in front of the emperor, worth one hundred thousand."

It is because of the preciousness of the chicken cup that countless people imitate it.

The Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, Jiaqing and Daoguang dynasties of the Qing Dynasty all imitated the burning.

The imitations of the Kangxi period were the best, and were close to the originals from shape to pattern.

When identifying, you must carefully observe the shape, glaze, color and style.

Returning to the imitation chicken vat cup, you can see that the cup is about eight centimeters in diameter.

It curls its mouth and lies on its feet. First, thin blue and white lines are used on the outer wall of the bowl to outline the outline of the pattern. Then it is glazed and put into the kiln. It is fired at a high temperature of about 1300 degrees into the body, and then filled with red, green, yellow and other colors.

The reserved blue and white patterns are then fired in the kiln at low temperature for the second time.

The outer wall is divided into two groups with peony lake stones and orchid grass lake stones.

A group of roosters are shown standing proudly, a female chicken and a chick are pecking at a centipede, and two chicks are playing with each other.

Another group depicts a rooster crowing, a female chicken and three chicks pecking at a centipede. The picture is vivid and full of interest.

Such a wonderful imitation must have been able to be copied to this extent only during the Kangxi period, right?

"If the identification is correct, the achievement value will be increased by one!"

Chen Wenzhe felt a little emotional, it’s not easy!

It is really not easy to get this level of achievement value.

And this is also the only work that gave him achievement value after the second appraisal.

After confirming the identity of this chicken vat cup, Chen Wenzhe felt different when he looked at it.

Counterfeit chicken cups are very common, but such good ones are very rare.

However, the two chicken cups are not far apart. With Chen Wenzhe's super memory, he can clearly map the differences between them in his mind.

Combining some of the information he had read, looking at the Kangxi imitation Chenghua chicken bowl cup in front of him, it can be said that there are flaws everywhere.

Because a lot of research materials helped Chen Wenzhe clearly explain the shortcomings of Kangxi's imitation of the chicken vat cup.

Now that you know where the flaws are, if you take a quick look and combine them with the information in your memory, those flaws will become clear at a glance.

This imitation of the Kangxi Dynasty in the Qing Dynasty is slightly taller than the original, and the bottom diameter is slightly smaller than the original. The unglazed area around the foot is wider than the original;

The six-character square frame in regular script at the bottom fills the entire bottom, with thick lines and heavy colors.

There are thick blue and white dots on the blue and white mountain stone pattern, which is not found in the real thing.

At this point, the work of identifying this chicken vat cup should actually be over.

However, if you want to gain recognition from your peers, you need to rule out all possibilities.

Then I thought about it, just by looking at the purple color on the chicken's tail, I knew that it couldn't be a copycat from the Ming Dynasty.

There were imitations of Chenghua models in the Jiajing, Longqing and Wanli dynasties of the Ming Dynasty and the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong dynasties of the Qing Dynasty.

Although the color and design of the imitation are similar to the original, there are still flaws to be found.

Jia, Long, Wanshi, the imitation style has thick strokes, sparse arrangement, and overly large circles. It looks similar to the Chenghua style but has different stroke force. The color is also thick but not bright, with only hazy clouds and bubbles similar to the Chenghua kiln.

It's almost too real.

The imitations of the third generation of the Qing Dynasty are better than the imitations of the Ming Dynasty, especially in the color matching and the writing method, they are very similar to the original ones.

However, the genuine Chenghua models all appear to have a layer of cloudiness, bubbles like beads, and the blue and white characters are dim.

For Qing Dynasty imitations, under a magnifying glass, it can be seen that the clouds are very light, the air bubbles are uneven, the cyan color of the characters is also scattered, the body color is slightly translucent yellow or white flashing cyan, and the joints of the glaze and sand on the base are slightly yellow.

Judging from some characteristics, it is even more unlikely to be Qianlong or a later imitation.

Some of the imitations made during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty have high handles and lying feet, with Qianlong's imperial poems on the outside, and the seal "Qianlong Qianlong Antique" on the inside of the foot.

During the Republic of China, the glaze of the imitations was bluish, the blue and white colors were floating, the color was light, and the decoration was dull.

Unfortunately, we can only see part of many features because we can’t get started and we don’t have the tools, so Chen Wenzhe can’t verify them one by one.

However, only a few characteristics of Tongguo can be identified. This is a refined imitation of the Kangxi Dynasty.

This is the advantage of seeing more. This time I have seen the real thing and also the imitation. I will encounter chicken pot cups again in the future. Chen Wenzhe cannot be said to be a great expert in this field, but there is absolutely no way he will be deceived.

At this time, Chen Wenzhe also knew that no matter which dynasty or generation it was copied from, the glaze color would be different. Unfortunately, he could not touch it now and directly learn the master-level technique of mixing color materials.

As for the glaze formula used in the real thing, he must have gotten it now.

He will need to study carefully in the future to finally prepare a qualified Doucai glaze.

However, you can’t touch a Chenghua chicken cup now, but you can touch a Kangxi chicken cup!

After all, the level of imitation chicken bowl cups produced by the third generation of the Qing Dynasty was also very impressive. At least the purple glaze they later prepared was very impressive.

This is probably the source of the controversy. Otherwise, this chicken vat cup would not be regarded as a Chenghua chicken vat cup. It should be a clear Kangxi imitation chicken vat cup.

In fact, many common imitations, especially those from the Kangxi period, do not use purple glaze, but use black glaze instead.

If it is this kind of imitation, you can clearly see the difference between the Qing Dynasty imitation and the original.

However, it was not reflected in the one in front of me.

Otherwise, it would not be on display here, and the results should have been identified long ago.

Therefore, the biggest difference is still in the glaze.
