Chapter seven hundred and seventy-eight of two weeks of gold inscriptions

After carefully picking up a piece of rust, the inscription that was already exposed became more exposed.

Although those inscriptions are severely corroded, you can still see them, especially the first two words, which are "Destiny"!

Even the words "Zhong Ding Wen" and "Destiny" are not much different from modern writing.

On the contrary, if you don't know the third character, Yu, you really can't recognize it.

But Chen Wenzhe knew it, because he had seen the internal inscription of a national treasure, and one of the words was: God ordered Yu to lay down the earth.

"There is still something wrong. I remember that the first sentence of the inscription on that treasure was this sentence, but this one is not at the beginning, but in the middle."

After thinking about it, Chen Wenzhe clapped his head. How could it be possible to cast two identical pieces of bronze?

Especially for this type of bronze vessel used to commemorate major events, not to mention the inscriptions, even the vessel shape is different.

Therefore, don't look at this sentence. It is the same as the inscription on a bronze vessel that he knows, but the content recorded on this bronze vessel should be different.

It's just that the shape of this bronze vessel should be the same as the one he knew, but the decoration is a little strange. Obviously, the casting is just that, and the clay mold made must be different.

Of course, these two bronzes may have been cast at the same time, but the contents of the inscriptions are all different.

"What are you mumbling about? What destiny? Is this a good thing?"

Li Jinli came closer, but no matter how hard he looked, he couldn't see anything.

However, he still knew that this was a good thing, because he also saw the inscription on the bronze.

I always like appraisals, and I have learned a lot in the past year. So, how could Li Jinli be unclear about some common sense that he should know?

"Does this thing really have an inscription? Isn't it the story of Yu who was ordered to control the floods?"

"Eh? You know that too?" Chen Wenzhe raised his head and looked at Li Jinli in surprise.

Li Jinli rolled his eyes and said: "If you have been in the national treasure archives, I will naturally know."

Chen Wenzhe laughed. This was considered a friend. If he met someone who didn't know anything about it, he wouldn't be interested in discussing it.

This is really a national treasure, the thing he mentioned before that is worth a hundred times because of the inscription.

By the way, in 2002, a Xiangjiang businessman accidentally discovered a bronze lunch box in the antique market.

The lunch box is simple and beautiful, but its surface is severely corroded, and the inside of the container is covered in rust. The few characters that are exposed are hard to understand.

It may seem ordinary, but the faint seal-engraved writing inside the bronze seems to have a lot of origins.

After some bargaining, the businessman bought the bronze lunch box at a high price of 2 million.

Here’s the key point, not to mention the inscription, even the original bronze lunch box is worth more than two million.

Therefore, I bought a bronze dinner plate from the Three Kingdoms period for 1.5 million, which also came with three highly collectible bronze dove carts. Finally, I also got a relatively complete national treasure.

That treasure became famous because of course it was included in the National Treasure Archives program.

That national treasure is the Xu (xian) Gongyu (xǔ). Just because of the rust color on the object at that time, many experts could tell at a glance that the bronze was genuine.

The 稨 is originally a ritual vessel used to hold millet, millet, rice, and beams. It evolved from the gui and became popular since the middle and late Western Zhou Dynasty. It has a history of more than 3,000 years.

Because the inscription on this bronze vessel contains the characters "燹公煨", it was named "燹公稨".

Chen Wenzhe had read the national treasure archives and noted down the shape and internal inscriptions of the artifact.

Looking at the thing in my hand at this time, it is almost exactly the same as the Xiangong Yu that was restored on TV and after the rust was removed.

Of course, this is the result of Chen Wenzhe's imagination.

After all, the shape of the thing in front of him has changed a bit, it has been flattened a bit, and it is a bit twisted.

However, the overall shape of the device can still be seen.

It is in the shape of a rectangular shape with rounded corners and a cover. It is the thing in the eyes that is even more deformed. He brought it back with it covered at that time.

Upon closer inspection, you can also find that the lower edge of the mouth of the vessel is decorated with bird patterns, the belly is decorated with tile patterns, there are animal heads on the small ears, there are hanging rings, and the ring feet are well preserved.

Compared with the Xian Gong Yu discovered before, this one has almost no defects except for being slightly deformed and twisted.

The previous one has no cover, the ring in the ear of the object is also missing, and there is a peach-shaped gap in the middle of the ring foot.

This form is earlier in the sequence of 盨.

Looking at the characteristics of the bird pattern, it can be determined that this piece of tea belongs to the middle and late Western Zhou Dynasty, that is, before and after King Xiao and King Yi of Zhou.

Although all the inscriptions on the piece in front of him were obscured by a thick layer of green rust, Chen Wenzhe could confirm that they were seal characters just by looking at the few words in front of him.

It is a type of very ancient gold inscription, and the writing is very standardized.

Chen Wenzhe would definitely not be able to recognize what the inscription inside this piece of tea contained.

But, as long as you can recognize a few, that's fine.

It was a coincidence that this time, several of the inscriptions exposed happened to be familiar to Chen Wenzhe, such as the mandate of destiny. These two seal characters were really easy to recognize.

Of course, even if he didn't recognize these two words, Chen Wenzhe would not miss this thing, because as long as he saw the inscription, he would definitely know that it was a precious thing, so how could he miss it?

A good memory is not as good as a good mobile phone, so Chen Wenzhe directly searched and found the national treasure in the Poly Museum.

It was at this moment that Li Jinli realized what was in front of him?

"Are these two the same?"

"The shape is similar, the casting year is unclear, and the inscriptions must be different, but they should all be related to Dayu's flood control!"

"Tianming Yu applied the soil?" Li Jinli said in surprise.

"Yes, this one looks similar to the one in the picture."

This thing is about ten centimeters high, 24 to 5 centimeters in diameter, weighs two to three kilograms, has an oval shape and a straight mouth.

Therefore, if there is an inscription on the interior, it will be clearly visible.

This piece in the museum has had its internal rust removed and the inscription can be seen clearly.

Almost the entire bottom is covered by inscriptions. There are 98 ancient inscriptions in it, which completely record the historical events of Dayu's flood control and the opening up of Kyushu. It can be said that the inscriptions are full of gems, enough to rewrite history.

The entire inscription can be described as a political essay. Its diction and style are unprecedented in the two-week bronze inscriptions, but it is very close to the existing ancient documents such as "Shang Shu".

This is of great value in exploring the origins of ancient Chinese books and articles.

Therefore, this inscription is praised by scholars as "the best of the two weeks of bronze inscriptions".

Of course, the academic value is not the most important. The most important thing is the historical value. It can prove that Dayu actually existed.

For a long time, there has been controversy in academic circles about the existence of Dayu and the Xia Dynasty.
