Chapter eight hundred and ninetieth is a little unwilling

The Han Dynasty ring-headed sword in Chen Wenzhe's hand was once used in Qilu. Because Chen Wenzhe is also from Qilu, he knows it very well.

Chen Wenzhe also knew that this type of ring-shou knife is quite sharp because its carbon content is only 0.6-0.7% and the cutting edge is quenched.

If you observe the cross section of the knife under a 100x microscope, you can see silicate inclusions evenly distributed in about thirty layers. This feature proves that it is a typical hundred-smelted steel knife.

Holding the handle, I looked at the dark wood chips on it. This is also the classic shape of the Han Dynasty knife handle.

The handles of knives in the Han Dynasty were often clamped with wood chips and wrapped with thick ropes, but without hand guards.

This form was used until the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties.

Being able to get a complete Huanshou Dao can be said to be an unexpected blessing, and its value is even comparable to several tons of gold.

Although it is a bit inferior to the Tang Dao, it is due to technological progress and has nothing to do with the collection value.

Come to think of it, this Han Dynasty ring-shou sword is the ancestor of the Tang sword!

The classic Tang Yidao, Heng Dao and Mo Dao of the Tang Dynasty were all developed from this ring-shou sword.

It's just that one was lengthened and thickened, forming the Mo Dao for horse fighting, and the other was shortened and developed into the Heng Dao for close combat.

Touching this ring-headed knife, Chen Wenzhe couldn't help but start backtracking.

If possible, he would even waste an opportunity to inherit it independently to learn the technology of this sword.

Whether it is forging technology or using skills, as long as you get any of them, you will make money.

Of course, before doing this, you still need to look back.

However, he didn't have much time and could only take a look at it casually.

The first thing he saw was definitely the process of practicing swordsmanship, but things seemed to be beyond his expectation.

For example, the origin of the ring-shou sword and its application on the ring!

These were a bit beyond Chen Wenzhe's expectations. If it weren't for looking back, he wouldn't have known that the ring on the Huanshou Sword was of great use!

The name Huanshou Dao comes from the ring on the handle, which Chen Wenzhe knows.

In ancient times, the end of the knife handle was called the sword's head. Adding a ring on it would naturally be the ring's head, hence the name of the ring's head knife.

Through backtracking, Chen Wenzhe discovered that the function of the ring head is to prevent the knife from falling out of hand.

When in use, the ring head is mostly wrapped with silk thread and satin cloth. Before fighting, soldiers wrap the ring head around their wrists. Since the wrist is connected to the ring head knife, it will not be lost even if it is taken off.

The thick iron ring also serves as a counterweight to adjust the center of gravity.

Through backtracking, Chen Wenzhe saw that this ring-head knife was very sharp, and the highest record was that it cut off 15 straws in a bunch.

It is to tie a number of straws into a bunch, then hang the bunch of straw on a wooden stick with hair strands, and cut it with a knife. If the straw is broken but the hair strands are not broken, then it is considered a good knife.

The ring-headed sword in Chen Wenzhe's hand must belong to the category of precious swords, otherwise it would not have been used to bury the prince.

Therefore, there were not many people using it, and he saw only a few people doing a few exercises with it.

Chen Wenzhe was a little disappointed, but it was okay. After all, he had acquired the skills to use this knife.

However, skills are not sword skills, nor are they considered kung fu. Chen Wenzhe only saw some simple chopping, slashing, and slashing.

He didn't see the sword skills he wanted to see, but saw someone hacking away.

There are no martial arts and no secrets, just practice!

It seems like someone is using this knife to teach, but the students are not working hard!

Needless to say, this sword must belong to a noble. You want a noble to practice sword skills hard?

Hard work, one is to gain strength, and the other is to increase the proficiency of using knives.

No matter what it is, the noble children don't look like good disciples who can endure hardships!

Chen Wenzhe felt a little regretful, this was different from what he imagined!

Maybe this ring-shou knife is not good, and its owner is not a master? Or maybe he is following a good-for-nothing prince?

Skipping these knife training processes, Chen Wenzhe learned about some of the production processes of the Huanshou Dao.

Huanshou knives can be divided into long knives, short knives and medium knives according to their length.

Those with a total length of more than 100cm are called long knives; those with a total length between 35 and 60cm are called short knives, and those with a total length of 60 to 100cm are called medium knives.

The thing in his hand must be a long knife, and Chen Wenzhe knew that the longest knife unearthed so far is 146 centimeters, which was a knife from the Three Kingdoms period unearthed in 1987.

The time left to go treasure hunting was long, and Chen Wenzhe had no time to waste anymore, so he could only end the traceback with regret.

I cleaned up these ring-headed knives one by one and put them aside neatly. Unfortunately, there is no one left that can retain a better quality.

There are more than thirty of these ring-headed knives, but only one is relatively intact due to the existence of the scabbard.

Others are covered in layers of rust. It can be said that the rust is very serious and may even break if touched.

No matter how ugly they are, these are still antiques with a history of two thousand years, and they are also very rare weapons, so they naturally have their value.

Chen Wenzhe carefully cleaned up. After cleaning these ring-shou knives, he unexpectedly found some strange weapons underneath.

After a little distinguishing, Chen Wenzhe almost recognized it. These should be some Ge?

These are definitely weapons, but they are div-shaped weapons. Is this a div-shaped halberd?

Chen Wenzhe quickly recognized it. After all, it came from a Han Dynasty tomb, and he was familiar with several classic weapons of the Han Dynasty.

These are some alienated halberds with the word "Bu". The halberd is a weapon developed by combining the sword and the spear.

Before the Han Dynasty, halberds were mostly in the shape of "十".

In the Han Dynasty, in order to meet the needs of cavalry combat, it was mainly used for hooking, and the "nei" of cutting disappeared, thus becoming the shape of "bu".

The halberd is suitable for cavalry to assassinate, and the forward-curved branches can be forked, hooked, stabbed, picked, chopped, and blocked, and have strong lethality.

This kind of "Bu" shaped halberd is often unearthed in Han tombs.

For example, the long-handled iron halberds unearthed from the Han Tombs in Mancheng, the Gudang Han Tombs in Hangzhou and the Dongyang Han Tombs in Xuyi are all in the shape of "Bu", with a total length of 226-250cm.

In addition, in the Han Dynasty, the halberd was not only the main weapon in actual combat, but also an important ceremonial weapon.

"Han Shu. Dongfang Shuo" "Emperor Wu sat in the front hall of Weiyang, Dongfang Shuo stood holding a halberd."

We can clearly see this kind of ceremonial halberd in the stone portraits of halberd-bearing officials (covered with red and black silk halberds) unearthed in Yingzhuang, Nanyang.

The piece in Chen Wenzhe's hands at this time should be a characteristic weapon of the Han Dynasty, which is a div-shaped iron halberd.

This kind of iron halberd has great application value in both infantry and horse fighting, and even hand-to-hand combat.

Chen Wenzhe was still a little unwilling to hold these weapons.

He has great strength, but he doesn't know how to use it.

Modern times are dominated by hot weapons, but in many cases, cold weapons are still needed to fight because guns are banned in the country.

Chen Wenzhe doesn't want to harm anyone, nor does he have the intention to bully others, but even to protect himself, he still needs to learn some sword skills, right?
