111 Not easy to approach

Standing next to him was a middle-aged man holding a little girl about four or five years old in his arms.

The little girl looked at the little butterfly in her hand with envy, a look of longing on her face.

Xia Zhaoyi smiled and handed it over: "Here."

"Ah, give it to me?"

"Take it."

The little girl happily took it.

Xia Zhaoyi raised his head and looked at the river in front of him. On the other side of the dazzling river, the ship had not yet reached the other side.

She turned sideways, went to the bamboo basket and pulled out two more sticks, paused, raised her head and looked towards the way she came.

A carriage stopped at the back of the crowd, and the unforgettable pair of Shen brothers sat in the carriage.

The older man held the book in his hand. When she looked over, he smiled at her and shook the book.

The young boy just looked at her like this, probably in the light of the setting sun. His expression was very gentle, not as cold and arrogant as when they first met.

A smiling face always makes people feel refreshed, not to mention that this brother is really good-looking when he smiles.

Xia Zhaoyi curled her lips and smiled at them.

"Do you still remember what the general and the women said about her?" Shen Xu said.

Shen Lie withdrew his gaze and looked towards him.

"This girl is not simple," Shen Shu said with a smile, "I suddenly thought of four words."

"What?"

"It's destiny." Shen Xu said slowly.

Shen Lie frowned slightly: "What's the explanation?"

Shen Shu shook his head, and the smile on his face gradually faded. Looking at the figure of the girl over there, his eyes became darker. He held the book with his fingers and pressed it gently on the book.

"What are you doing?" Shen Lie said coldly.

"Don't you know?" Shen Xu replied, still looking at the girl.

"You also want to calculate the so-called fate of unrelated people?"

Shen smiled wisely: "What does it mean to be irrelevant? We have done a business with her, and we have already met her."

As he said that, Shen Shu looked at the other side of the river, where a large boat was leaning alone and no one cared about it.

"Look," Shen Shu smiled, "we are going to be involved with her again."

He held the carriage and walked out.

The wide-sleeved robe is made of soft material, and when it falls to the ground, the clothes will brush against the carriage, making it especially soft and beautiful.

Still holding the book in his hand, he walked towards the crowd step by step.

Shitou watched and looked at Shen Lie in confusion: "Master?"

Several guards nearby were also confused.

The crowd was stunned for a moment by the appearance of the man in purple. When he passed by, some people even spontaneously stepped aside.

The movement from behind reached the front, and Xia Zhaoyi also looked back, and saw a tall, thin and handsome man stopping in front of him with a smile: "Ah Li."

"Hello, Mr. Shen." Xia Zhaoyi said.

Shen Xun smiled: "Why, aren't you curious about why I know your name but can still pronounce mine?"

"I met a pair of masters and servants in the anti-bandit village inn who are looking for you. They are looking for Dr. Shen," Xia Zhaoyi said.

"You know it's me?"

"Then how do you know that Sir Song Lang or the Ali mentioned by those women is me?" Xia Zhaoyi said with a smile.

She paused for a moment, then laughed softly: "Interesting, you little girl, you are so funny."

Xia Zhaoyi just smiled lightly and looked at him calmly: "What's the matter, Mr. Shen? Just reminiscing about old times?"

"I have a ferry over there, do you want to go?"

Following Shen's knowing gaze, Xia Zhaoyi looked to the other side.

She had seen the big ship over there when she came, but when she saw that no one went over to ask questions, or went over and turned back, she knew it was not for them.

"That big boat belongs to sir?"

"Yes, come to pick me up."

"Mr. Rich," Xia Zhaoyi said lightly, "but I can't afford to sit up."

"Miss Ah Li, do you think I've got nothing to do to show my courtesy?" Shen Shu said with a smile.

"I don't dare, it's just that I'm really poor." Xia Zhaoyi also smiled.

"Five taels of silver is a lot."

In current currency, five taels is equal to fifty qian, and five qian is equal to five hundred cash. An ordinary family of five can live comfortably for a year with five liang.

Xia Zhaoyi smiled and did not intend to continue the conversation: "Sir, please go back. Thank you for your kindness."

"Then, I'll give you another five taels of silver and ask you to get on the boat?" Shen Shu said.

The others didn't know what to say when they heard it, they were jealous and envious.

Xia Zhaoyi looked at Shen Xu, her smiling eyes gradually became intriguing.

"Ah Li?" Shen Xu called.

"I just said I didn't dare, but now I really dare. Sir, if you have nothing to do to show your courtesy, what is the next sentence?"

"Do you think I am a great traitor?"

"Sir, please come back. We just met by chance and left a good impression on each other. Just smile when we meet each other." Xia Zhaoyi still smiled.

Shen Xu sighed and shook his head, and said with a smile: "I have walked through all the rivers and waves, and I have never seen any beauty, but I can't deal with a little girl like you."

"This metaphor is very disrespectful." Xia Zhaoyi said with a smile.

"Forget it, it seems that I won't be favored by the little beauty Ah Li today," Shen Shu raised her hand and said, "It's because I was rude just now."

"We will meet later." Xia Zhaoyi said.

Shen Xu smiled: "No, see you later."

After finishing speaking, he turned around.

The river breeze blew across his face, ruffling Xia Zhaoyi's broken hair.

She looked at Shen Xu's leaving figure, the smile on her face retreated slightly, but her expression was still gentle.

Following Shen Shu's back, she looked at the young man in purple who was leaning on the right side of the carriage.

The young man was lying across the carriage, with his hands on his chest, one leg bent, and the other leg too long, sticking out of the carriage, coldly watching his brother walk back.

"The ship is coming, the ship is coming," someone shouted.

Everyone's attention was drawn again.

Two boats crossing the river slowly came from the opposite side.

Xia Zhaoyi put the horse straw in his hand into the bamboo basket, supported the horse's back, and looked towards the river.

Shen Xu walked back and shook his head with a smile: "I have never seen such a difficult little girl to deal with."

Shen Lie sat upright, moved his long legs away, and let Shen Shu come up.

"What did you say? You also gave a big salute to someone." Shen Lie asked.

The stones and the guards over there were all listening with their ears pricked up.

"I said something rude, of course I have to apologize."

"How could you say anything rude," Shen Lie sneered, "You said these words deliberately to test her reaction, right?"

"She is not an ordinary little girl, she is really not simple," Shen Shu sighed. "She is so interesting, but it is a pity that she is not easy to get close to."

Shen Lie said nothing and looked back over there.

The girl sat high and sideways on the horse. It was hard to imagine how such a short body could control such a tall horse.

"Master." Shitou called out.

"Let's go." Shen Lie said.

"Yes." Shitou nodded. After getting on the carriage, he also looked at the girl over there and raised his whip.

"Put down the curtain." Shen Lie said again.

"Yes." Shitou replied, turning around and lowering the car curtain.

"Don't want to see her?" Shen Xu asked.

Shen Lie didn't say anything, and turned to look at the window on the other side. Because the carriage turned around, outside the window was the road they came from, a lush green mountain field.
