169 Free Clinic Brothers and Sisters

The autumn colors are rolling, the ancient roads are long, and the mountains are covered with red maples.

Roads in all directions, like rivers converging to the rivers and seas, all point to Kyoto. The roads are crowded with people, either in groups or alone, and more and more people in bright clothes and jade crowns appear.

As the tide rises in autumn, there are fewer pedestrians going to Xiangjuan Mountain's shortcut, but it's not none.

On the largest road into the mountain, there was a long queue at the mouth of the river. Pedestrians passed by and looked at it curiously. Some people joined in, and some were eager to hurry. They took a casual look and left.

"What are you doing?"

"Free clinic, free clinic here!"

"Medicine is also cheap. You can get a big packet for two copper coins!"

"Which family is doing something good here?"

"We'll ask after we get there! Will you come and line up?"

"Come on, come on!"

The mouth of the river is very lively. The first step in the procession is to go to the small road on the other side. There are several tents set up there. People who diagnose patients will go in and then go to the other side to get medicine.

There is the fragrance of unknown wild flowers in the air, and the coolness of autumn turns the fragrance of flowers to cold. As the procession slowly moves forward, the night gradually falls.

A pair of young brothers and sisters were sitting in the largest tent. The elder brother took someone's pulse, and the younger sister next to him picked up a pen to write. After the person received the prescription, he went to the tent next to him to receive the medicine.

Everyone thanked each other one after another. The elder brother was not very talkative, but the younger sister would smile and say: "You're welcome."

When it came to Youshi, there were not many people left. A few old men nearby began to dismantle the tent and took out the few remaining medicinal materials.

Many people at the back of the crowd were full of dissatisfaction. After waiting in line for so long, they couldn't get the medicine in the end. This time was really wasted.

At this time, an angry curse sounded from the front, and then a middle-aged man wearing better clothes walked out of the big tent and scolded: "What do you know! You little brat who doesn't even have hair! You are so shameless!"

"

"You, how could you say that!" The girl came out angrily, her face was pretty and her fair face turned red.

"Both of you fart!" the man scolded unceremoniously, "How dare you come out to treat people even though you are not good at academics! Everyone, please leave, they are using us as training!"

"You, you..." The girl stamped her feet angrily.

The elder brother came out and said coldly: "Everyone, stay away from him. The disease in this person is contagious and is a plague."

Upon hearing this, people who still didn't know what was going on immediately backed away in fear and stayed away.

"plague?!"

"Where did the plague come from? What kind of disease is it!"

"what's up!"

"Is it really a plague?"

"You fart!!" The man yelled angrily, "I'm fine, what a bullshit plague!"

As he said that, he suddenly strode towards the young man: "If I am sick, then if you touch me, are you also sick?"

"Don't come over!" the girl yelled.

Several old men over there rushed over to stop the middle-aged man, but the middle-aged man had a really hot temper and went straight to smash their things.

The remaining medicinal materials, the wooden boxes that had been packed, and the large tent where the brother and sister held a free clinic just now were all smashed.

The elder brother ran away first while protecting his younger sister, but an old man who was stopping him was beaten until his nose started to bleed.

It was obvious that this man had practiced a lot, but these old men couldn't catch him and kept getting beaten. The scene was in chaos.

Passers-by didn't dare to stay here longer, they were almost gone.

There were also people passing by who didn't know what they were talking about. They probably ran away immediately after hearing something.

The middle-aged man finally smashed the things to pieces and pointed at them: "I will keep my fucking mouth shut from now on! I can't beat you to death!"

Kicking the broken box away, the man turned around and walked away.

The girl looked at the mess at the scene, and then looked at her brother beside her.

The elder brother was looking at the passers-by. After his sister gently pulled his sleeve, the elder brother came to his senses, chased after him and shouted: "Wait a minute!"

"What are you doing!" The middle-aged man turned back and glared.

"Where are you going? You will bring the disease to the capital!" The elder brother ran over and blocked the man in front of him, "You can't go! I can't let you pass!"

The man raised his foot and kicked his brother in the stomach. The brother held his stomach and threw it to the ground, his brows and eyes furrowed in pain.

"Brother!" The girl hurriedly ran up, but she couldn't stop the man from punching and kicking her brother.

"Those who are running fast in front of you, go and say something quickly!" The elder brother yelled and scolded while being beaten, "Don't let this man enter the city! He has the plague on him, and he will infect it!"

"You still said it! You still said it!" The man began to exert force on his feet.

Most of the onlookers didn't dare to stay and walked away in a hurry. Some stopped and couldn't see to stop them, but they only dared to persuade them with words.

After fighting for a long time, the man felt relieved. After a few curses, he raised his feet and left.

The girl looked pale and knelt down to help her brother: "Brother!"

The elder brother bared his teeth in pain and gritted his teeth: "This beast..."

The girl felt distressed and helped him up while wiping her tears: "It's okay, brother, you get up first."

"Beast!" The brother cursed again in a low voice, sitting on the ground and wiping the corners of his lips.

After scolding him, he looked towards the road ahead with some feeling and saw a girl on a horse, stopping not far away to look at him.

The elder brother frowned, feeling a little weird. Maybe it was because this girl's charming temperament was too calm and quiet.

"Brother?" the girl called, following her brother's gaze and looking over there.

A little girl is sitting high on the horse, her hair is tied up with a hairpin, and there are some fine hairs on her smooth forehead.

The clothes are made of common cotton and linen materials, and he doesn't seem to belong to a wealthy family, but his posture and manner while riding a horse are so beautiful.

Xia Zhaoyi looked at the flat ground over there. There was a pile of mess and rags, which were smashed very hard. Several old men were injured, and they were treating their wounds and taking care of each other.

Xia Zhaoyi looked away and kicked Qingyun's horse's belly: "Let's go."

The horse raised its feet and walked forward, carrying the girl on its back and disappeared at the mouth of the river.

"What's wrong?" The girl looked at her brother with some confusion.

"I don't know either..." the elder brother said softly.

"She, she won't notice anything, right?" The girl lowered her voice.

"What nonsense are you talking about?" My brother was slightly annoyed, "She just came here, and she's just a little kid. What can she know?"

"It's quite strange for such a young child to ride such a high horse and be alone here..." the girl muttered.

The elder brother got up, but because he was a little too strong, his muscles were involved, and he suddenly gritted his teeth in pain.

"Be careful," the girl felt distressed, "I'll get you some medicine!"

"Go." said the elder brother.

He turned around and looked towards the road. He didn't know why, but he felt a little uneasy in his heart. Maybe it was because his sister's words made him feel strange.

Such a young child, riding such a high horse, and being alone.

Forget it, who cares, nothing will happen to him after that.
