9.22 Modify progress

Today’s revision progress is chapters 445-464.

The progress is a little faster again.

I also saw some book friends complaining before: taking time off to revise the article, or revising one chapter in one day.

To be honest, it’s not easy to edit an article, and it’s even more tiring. I usually write 8,000 words, and at least I still have time to play a game or two of Dota, or watch a movie. Now I really do nothing all day long, except eating and sleeping.

I'm thinking about how to revise the article.

So in this case, you really have to ask for leave when something happens...

Although only one chapter was revised yesterday, the 7,000 or so words in one chapter were rewritten, which is a relatively important chapter revision. It is not very different from daily updates, so it is a bit slow.

Writing content takes time…

Of course, I will simply explain it to everyone. Everyone should complain and continue to complain (mostly there is no way to stop it).

Let’s talk about today’s modifications:

The plot currently progresses to Qingchen finishing cleaning up the Mechanicum and joining the crew to go to the forbidden land No. 065 in the north.

In the previous plot, Qingchen didn't even change his name when he entered the crew, he just walked in with a swagger, and he didn't use the taboo Ace-005 to disguise himself.

But this is actually very inconsistent with Qingchen’s character.

Let me tell you what you were thinking at the time. At that time, it seemed that the film and television rights were about to be sold. When I was writing this paragraph, I didn’t know why. I thought that if the film and television were adapted, Qingchen would change.

Don’t we have to change the leading actors? Will changing them affect the adaptation?

Looking back now, I really feel stupid.

So when the author is coding, he really can’t think about the adaptation, as long as he thinks about it, it’s over.

Words are words, and movies and TV shows are movies and TV shows. When writing a story, you should not mix too many distracting thoughts. You should return to the story and the characters themselves. The author should not think about those things.

As for how to deal with this plot during the adaptation, let the screenwriter teacher have a headache. What does it have to do with me...

The experiences and lessons I summarized in this book are quite beneficial. One is that story writers cannot think in advance about how to make movies, TV shows or animations. The other is that they cannot give up quality for the sake of speed. The other is that they must have manuscripts saved...(Also

There are many, and they are all recorded in a small notebook.)

Ye originally had twenty chapters in the manuscript, but they were all empty when the explosion broke out on the day it was released, so that it became more and more unsatisfactory.

The early and middle stages of the night were very good, because the disadvantage of not saving manuscripts had not been fully exposed at that time, but it was definitely exposed later, and I still had to save manuscripts, save manuscripts, save manuscripts!

Back to the plot line.

In the original text, Shadow used Qingchen to fish, ignoring the lives of many people, and Qingchen no longer looked like Qingchen.

I thought about it for a long time, what would Qingchen choose in that environment? He would probably step forward. That's what he did on Laojun Mountain. He is still a person who loves the world in his heart.

So this plot is different from the past. Tomorrow it will be revised to the point where he steps forward and leads the wolves away from the gods to save others.

In addition, the previous battle between him and Jindai Yunhe was also sloppy, and he was taken away without much resistance. This is completely inconsistent with Qingchen's character. He has always been a person who never gives up until the last moment.

Okay, that’s all for today.

See you all tomorrow!
