Chapter 596 Fate is wonderful

The wind in the Western Region is very hard, not as gentle as that in Chang'an.

The wind in Chang'an blows the Baqiao willows very charmingly. Whenever the wind in the Western Regions blows, it will carry something with it. Sometimes it is dust, sometimes it is snow foam, and today it is dry cow dung foam...

Cow dung must be burned with fire.

Otherwise, the grassland will be covered with cow dung before long.

Naha hugged a pillar and cried.

This is the first time this child has encountered a big liar, and this liar is the relative she cares about most.

The reason why Naha couldn't be happy these days was because she was afraid that one day she would suddenly find the old monkey dead.

Although Li Hong often lied to her, he was just a little liar who wanted to defraud her of money, and money was the thing that Naha didn't care about the least.

So, you can't say it's a lie.

"Brother, don't hit Mr. Monkey..."

Although she was crying like pear blossoms, Naha was still worried that her brother would beat Mr. Monkey to death in a rage.

Compared with being cheated, the old monkey can still live healthily, which makes Naha like it even more.

"That's an old monkey with a heart of stone. Don't care about his life or death in the future."

Yun Chu felt that there was no need to pity a great hero like Old Monkey. After he went to the Stone Kingdom, he realized how domineering this guy was in the Stone Kingdom. The Stone Kingdom had five kings in forty years, and three of them were killed by him.

.

Naha was coaxed by Yun Chu for a while and stopped crying, but she still thought that Master Hou should not lie to her and make her sad. When she came to her senses, she took Zhuoma into the old monkey's room to settle the score.

"When I see your sister from now on, I must bow three times and kowtow nine times."

Gentle and slender fingers rubbed the inkstone, and the contempt in his eyes could not be concealed.

"I used to think that you, General Yun, made a living by relying on your military exploits, but I didn't expect that you actually live off your own girls."

Yun Chu ignored Wen Wen's poisonous mouth, picked up the document in front of him and read it.

"Are you going to go to court and ask for the establishment of an official office in the Buddhist Kingdom?"

Wen Wen nodded and said: "That's right, Buddhism has too much power in the Buddhist country. If there are no government constraints, it will become a serious problem sooner or later. Buddhism can expand wildly in the Western Regions, but it must be under the supervision of the government.

Moreover, to be an official here, one cannot be a boneless guy like Fang Zheng, but must be an upright person like Liu Rengui.

At least it must be someone who is not colluding with Buddhism."

"So, you encouraged Zhong Kui to build an eighteen-level hell outside the Buddhist kingdom?"

"Taoism must be introduced to check and balance the development of the Buddhist kingdom."

"Since you are going to use religion to balance religion, why not choose the religion that has a strong foundation in the Western Region?"

"That's different. Red flowers, green leaves, and white lotus roots. The three religions were originally one family. Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism had the possibility of merging. As for the Ao Sect, it was incompatible with what I, the Tang Sect, wanted. Not to mention, they made the teachings strict and incompatible with Dashi.

Human teachings are exactly the same.

There is no possibility of integrating our teachings from the Tang Dynasty. They can only be classified as worshiping in obscene temples and cannot preach in the Western Regions."

There is no subordinate relationship between Yun Chu and Wen Wen. They are allies, so it is not surprising that Wen Wen has his own opinions.

Yunchu didn't like the Dashi Cult, so naturally he didn't have a good impression of the Ao Cult that was born in the Sasanian Kingdom.

It was clear that his body was dead and his clan had been wiped out, yet he was still trying to revive his body in the Western Regions in the name of worshiping fire.

To Yun Chu and Wen Rou, any doctrine that does not belong to Confucianism, Buddhism or Taoism is heresy and should be attacked.

"Your sister freed 20,000 slaves in one go. Just this one thing, Naha's merits are immeasurable."

"Your sister also promised to compensate those slaves and ensure that they can live a safe and happy life in the future. This fact can be said to be a blessing to the world."

"Your sister admitted that it was her fault that those who died to build the Buddhist Kingdom were her fault. She planned to offer 3,000 ever-bright lamps in front of the Buddha, pray for those who died, and make great wishes. The scriptures she will recite thereafter are all

It is to pray for the souls of the dead... Therefore, Naha is a true Buddhist practitioner."

"Also, I really don't know if your sister is smart or stupid. She was defrauded by Zhong Kui and took away a lot of money and a lot of people, and is building eighteen levels of hell on the edge of the Buddhist Kingdom.

However, Zhong Kui agreed to build a statue based on Naha's appearance and place it in the deepest part of the eighteenth level of hell, with the grand ambition of using Naha to pray for the souls of the dead."

Yun Chu was stunned for a moment, then blurted out: "If hell is not empty, will you never become a Buddha?"

Listening to what Yun Chu said, Wen Wen slowly closed the documents in her hands, put her hands on the table and remained silent for a long time. After a long time, she sighed and said, "This is such a huge and ambitious wish.

You can't say too much like this. If you say too much, I'm worried that the creatures in this world will take it seriously..."

"Naha likes to be clean, but is afraid of ghosts. Why would she go to hell? I like this kind of thing..."

Yunchu looked at the old monkey who came through the door, and then at Naha who was coaxed by the old monkey into smiling. Once again, he didn't know what to say.

"Unless hell is empty, I will never become a Buddha." This sentence is the great wish made by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva after several incarnations and after witnessing his mother suffering in hell for not practicing virtue.

Tang had never seen the combination of these eight characters before.

Buddhists like to fill in the past of a person's life after his death. Sometimes, they will push forward hundreds or even thousands of years of life and deeds.

This is the case with Ksitigarbha. According to the oldest records, when Buddha was still a prince, he happened to be the prince of the neighboring country, but he took a different path.

Ordinary people may not feel much about these eight words, but in Buddhism they represent great merit, great enlightenment, and great sacrifice...

Yunchu counted the time and found that the incarnation of Ksitigarbha in the Tang Dynasty, Prince Jin Qiaojue of the Silla Kingdom, was not yet born. In addition, the Tang army had already destroyed the Silla Kingdom, and he also killed many people in Silla.

There is a high probability that this Jin Qiaojue will not be born...

Naturally, he will not have anything to do with an unborn Silla man. In addition, the old monkey is short and furry, and he can coax a silly child like Naha. There is nothing wrong with him transforming into Jizo.

It is said that when Ksitigarbha made this great wish, heaven and earth responded. This is obviously the manifestation of the Confucian theory of "influence between heaven and man".

Therefore, Yunchu opened the door and ran outside, and took a closer look at the sky. As a result, there was no reaction from the sky, not even the evil wind was blowing up.

After returning to the house, Yunchu said to the old monkey: "It's a deal, but you need to negotiate with Zhong Kui."

The old monkey stared at Yun Chu for a while, then opened the door angrily and went out. He was very angry that Yun Chu was planning to kill him.

Yunchu said to Naha again: "Why don't you have a longer memory? He just lied to you, and you started to believe him again."

Naha smiled and said: "He is going to give me an additional 20,000 sheep, 10,000 cattle, and 500 camels.

With these livestock, those who have nothing can survive. In a few years, when the cattle and sheep multiply, they will become rich, and what I promised them will be fulfilled."

Wen Wen supported the table with both hands and said to Yunchu: "You see, do you think she is stupid or smart?"

Yun Chu spread his hands and said, "What a confusing account!"

Wen Wenwen laughed and said: "How can you be a Buddha if you are not confused? How can you save the world and save people if you are not confused? Anyway, smart people generally cannot do such things."

Zhong Kui cannot become a Buddha!

He is obviously a very smart and intelligent person, but under the condition of information asymmetry, five hundred cattle, five thousand sheep, plus one thousand pieces of linen, it was originally planned to establish Li Na in the eighteenth level of hell.

The statue of Ha eventually became a statue of an old monkey. Not only the hell here in the Buddhist Kingdom, but also the hell in Zhongnan Mountain will also house a statue of an old monkey.

Therefore, the old monkey became Ksitigarbha in hell. Why is he called the king? Because the old monkey himself is the prince of the Stone Kingdom.

It seems like a joke now. After hundreds of years have passed and Buddhism has slowly perfected Ksitigarbha’s experience and achievements, it will be time for the old monkey to crown Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva...

Zhong Kui was a fastidious man. Half of the cattle and sheep he got from the old monkey belonged to Naha.

However, after he talked to Naha and learned the cause and effect of the incident, he caught Xiao Yuhua and beat her severely.

No longer making a statue of Naha, and since her brother slept next door, Naha slept very soundly at night. Not only did she not get up, she didn't even have a dream.

When he got up in the morning, Yun Chu saw the haggard-looking Master Fa Hua. He also knew about Zhong Kui's statue of the old monkey. He stayed up all night without talking, and there was still endless depression in his chest that needed to be released.

"Unless hell is empty, I will never become a Buddha!" Master Fahua looked at Yun Chu standing in the morning sun, feeling inexplicably sad and angry.

"There are thousands of Buddhist connections. I live in the forest of Buddha connections. I watch the Buddha connections fluttering in the wind, but I can't catch any of them."

Yun Chu smiled and said: "The fate is wonderful."

"I need to spread the news of Master Wukong's attainment of enlightenment in the Buddhist country back to the Tang Dynasty as soon as possible."

Although his face was blurred by jealousy, Master Lotus quickly recovered his mood and put his important Buddhist responsibilities first.

The old monkey himself said that he had attained the true enlightenment, but that’s not all. There are still many, many things that need to be done later, such as - researching Ksitigarbha’s past, present and future lives.

This piece of work is the most important part of whether the old monkey can achieve enlightenment.

Since the entry of Buddhism in the Han Dynasty, many of the teachings in this sect are not consistent with the thinking of the Tang Dynasty people. If these things that are contrary to the cognition of the Tang Dynasty people cannot be removed, then the Buddhist teachings with the Tang Dynasty mark can be added.

It is a sign that the spread of Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty will become difficult.

Generally speaking, the process of Xuanzang's journey to the west to seek Dharma was a process of eliminating the bad and retaining the good. Not all foreign things were good and needed to be inspected and compiled before being spread in the land of the Tang Dynasty.

Therefore, Buddha is the result of time, the result of ten thousand thoughts and one mind, and it is also the result of people's beautiful expectations.
