Chapter 958 Reincarnation of Life and Death

The bay-red horse was getting stronger and stronger. After running for sixty miles at a stretch, there was foam at the corner of the mouth. Yunchu had to change horses and let the bay-red horse run behind. As a result, without Yunchu as a load, it felt that it could do well again.

, and ran to the front again.

The run from Mount Tai to Fanyang, which is Zhuozhou, was less than a thousand miles. After walking some mountain paths, Yun Chu calculated that it was at most 900 miles.

Therefore, he arrived in Zhuozhou on the morning of the fourth day.

The mountains here are still there, but the huge Beijing city is missing.

Zhuozhou is a small city, but it has an incredibly large wall. This is the main feature of a military city. When it is safe, there are few people, but when it comes to war, it is overcrowded.

Because Xue Rengui and Hao Chujun entered Yingzhou, Zhuozhou City was now overcrowded. The city was filled with civilians and auxiliary soldiers drawn from Hebei and Shandong. As for the real government soldiers, they were all stationed in the city at this time.

If Yunchu wanted to avoid revealing his identity, it would be difficult to find Guo Daifeng in this city full of resentment.

But it doesn't matter, Di Renjie has already found Guo Daifeng's three sons, and these three sons will definitely lead Yun Chu to find Guo Daifeng.

So, Yunchu left Zhuozhou City and headed north.

Yun Chu remembered very clearly that there should be a Baihua Mountain in the north of Zhuozhou. This was the only place where he could leave Zhuozhou and go north in a concealed manner, and it was also the best place chosen by Di Renjie for him to snipe Guo Daifeng.

All the flowers on Baihua Mountain have withered now, and only the green pines and cypresses remain. When scattered white snow falls, Yunchu stops in front of a dilapidated temple.

When Yun Chu took off his armor, he looked like a monk. Although the traveling along the way caused fine stubble to grow on his head, when he put on the monk's robe, he still looked like a monk.

In order not to alarm others, twelve cavalrymen took their bay-red horses and set up camp behind the temple.

Although the temple is dilapidated, the Jialan Hall in the middle is still intact.

Yunchu walked into Jialan Hall and looked up to see Guan Yunchang.

This made Yun Chu think for a long time before he remembered that this should be a temple belonging to the Tiantai Sect, and only the Tiantai Sect would include Guan Yunchang in the scope of the Eighteen Jialan Gods.

That is to say, because there was not enough time for Guan Yunchang to be carried to the altar, the incense in this temple withered so much that the monks in the temple could no longer support themselves, so they fled to other places to worship the gods, which would bring them more food and food.

The god of wealth has gone.

There is no way around this. You can't just pick a historical celebrity and say he is a god. After all, the people who come to worship gods and give money for incense are not all fools.

The old gods always get more incense than the new gods.

According to legend, the wise master, the founder of the Tiantai Sect in the Sui Dynasty, once entered meditation in Yuquan Mountain in Jingzhou. While in meditation, he heard screams from the air: "Give me my head back! Give me my head back!"

It turned out that Guan Yu's head was chopped off by the enemy. He was so angry that he searched everywhere for his own head.

The wise master asked: "You have chopped off countless other people's heads in the past, why don't you return their heads today?" and preached Buddhism to them.

Guan Yu felt ashamed at that moment, so he asked the wise master for the Three Refuges and Five Precepts, became a formal disciple of Buddhism, and vowed to be the protector of Buddhism.

From then on, Guan Yu and Wei Tuo Bodhisattva called Buddhism the two major protectors of the temple, with Jialan Bodhisattva as the right protector and Wei Tuo Bodhisattva as the left protector.

There are many stories in Buddhism that are very beautiful and very alarming.

For example, since a temple has eighteen gods to protect it, those who live there should also encourage themselves and not be lazy, for fear of being punished.

Yunchu felt that it was excellent for Guo Daifeng to receive his retribution here.

I found a small pine tree as a broom and calmly began to clean the Jialan Temple.

After he got some water, he washed Guan Yunchang's eyes, and repainted the eyes of the seated statue of Guan Yunchang with ink. This way, Guan Yunchang's eyes were bright and he could see more clearly.

Although the seated statue is broken and is missing an arm, no matter what, for gods, the body can be disabled, but the eyes cannot be blind.

The cold wind gathered scattered snowflakes and poured in through the holes in the roof. It was extremely cold. Yunchu lit a fire in the Jialan Palace and hung a copper kettle on the fire to boil water and drink.

Tea.

The fragrance of tea filled the Jialan Hall. Yunchu filled a cup of tea with a porcelain cup and offered it in front of Guan Yunchang. When he was about to go back to drink tea, he felt that he was neglecting Mr. Guan again, so he placed another piece of dry biscuits and a handful of dried fruits.

.

Seeing the aroma of tea, Mr. Guan must have sensed his sincerity, so he sat by the fire, pierced a cake with a branch, and drank the sweet tea while making the cake.

Unknowingly, three days had passed since Yunchu had been with Mr. Guan in this Jialan Palace.

In Yunchu's opinion, the ruined temple, monks, fragrant tea, cold wind, white snow, bonfire and half a volume of scriptures constituted the elements to attract all the monsters and ghosts. However, the first person who pushed the door in was a woodcutter in tattered clothes.

husband.

The woodcutter may not be good at words, but he is also timid. When he saw the monk Yunchu in the Jialan Hall, he saluted and prepared to leave the Jialan Hall, until he saw the copper pot hanging on the bonfire and the exquisite teacup in front of Yunchu.

After picking up the not-so-small leather backpack behind him, he did not exit again. Instead, he leaned the firewood against the wall, pretended to be sleepy, and leaned on the altar table to fall asleep.

Yunchu was a monk, so he naturally had a kind heart, so he said to the woodcutter, "How about we come over and warm ourselves by the fire?"

The woodcutter immediately opened his eyes, rubbed his hands and came over and said, "How can this be good? How can this be good?"

Yunchu smiled and handed the woodcutter a dough pancake, indicating that he could bake it and eat it.

When the woodcutter saw that it was a piece of white flour cake, he took it tremblingly, put it on a branch like Yunchu, and baked it. After baking for a while, he wolfed down the whole white flour cake, and waited for him to put it in his palm.

After licking the dregs from the bag into his mouth, he looked straight at the noodle cake in Yunchu's hand and said, "Monk, give me your noodle cake too."

Yunchu was a monk, so he naturally followed the good deeds. The Buddha had a kind deed of cutting meat to feed the eagles, so Yunchu naturally would not begrudge half a piece of bread, so he gave the remaining half of the bread to the woodcutter with a smile.

The woodcutter wolfed down half of the pancake again. Feeling thirsty, he said to Yunchu: "Give me your water."

Yunchu looked at the woodcutter with yellow teeth, then at his white porcelain tea set, shook his head and said, "You have a water bag."

The woodcutter was furious when he heard this, took out the hatchet from his waist, and slashed at Yunchu's neck fiercely.

Just when Yunchu's life was hanging by a thread, the broken door of Jialan Palace was violently kicked open again. A guy with a deer head and rat eyes stretched his neck and looked inside, and found a woodcutter holding a hatchet and about to kill a monk.

He drew back his head and said to the outside: "There is only one woodcutter and one monk. The woodcutter is about to kill the monk."

Immediately, a group of people rushed into the dilapidated Jialan Palace. Yun Chu looked at the woodcutter with a smile and said, "Are you still going to kill me?"

The woodcutter's face turned earth-colored, and he knelt down in front of Yun Chu with a thud. He threw away the hatchet and reached out to slap his own mouth. He struck so hard that Yun Chu couldn't bear it, so he said calmly: "I forgive you."

"Hahahaha..." The crowd who rushed into Jialan Hall burst out laughing.

Yun Chu waited for these people to finish laughing, and then said calmly: "He just wants to get some wealth to go back and honor his mother. What's so funny about it?"

A strong man walked out of the crowd, kicked the woodcutter over, stepped on the woodcutter's face, looked down at Yun Chu and said: "Monk, you are stupid by chanting sutras, he wants to kill you, why don't you forgive him?"

, if our brothers hadn’t just come over, you would have died long ago.”

Yun Chu looked at the strong man with a ferocious face calmly and said, "It's his sin if he kills me. If you kill him, it's your sin."

The strong man said in surprise: "You mean, it's right for him to kill you, but it's wrong for me to kill him?"

Yun Chu put his hands together and said: "Amitabha, killing is wrong. Donor, those who kill will always be killed."

The strong man kicked the woodcutter away and approached Yun Chu and said, "A certain family has killed quite a few monks. This is the first time I have met a monk like you who is not afraid of death. What's your plot in coming to Baihua Mountain?"

?”

Yun Chu said: "Looking at your hideous and disgusting faces, could it be that you are the mountain kings of Baihua Mountain?"

The strong man patted his chest and said, "Yes, I am Liu Hong, the mountain leopard of Baihua Mountain."

Yun Chu said: "The poor monk advises Donor Liu to be kind and never let himself get into a situation where he is full of evil."

Just when Liu Hong, the leopard in the mountain, was about to speak, an arrow broke through the window and accurately hit Liu Hong's temple. The arrow was so powerful that it penetrated Liu Hong's head.

Seeing Liu Hong lying on the fire like a log, his eyes still staring at Yun Chu, Yun Chu sighed and said: "The poor monk said, never let yourself get to the point where you are full of evil.

, look, this retribution comes so quickly."

Just as Yun Chu was speaking, the sound of an arrow piercing the air appeared again. The tallest of the bandits had his neck pierced by an arrow. He struggled to pull out the arrow, but the arrow came out.

But there were two more bleeding holes.

The robbers in the hall fled in all directions. Unfortunately, no matter how they evaded, there was always an arrow that could find them and kill them one by one.

Seeing that hiding was not a problem, the remaining five robbers shouted and rushed out. Immediately, more arrows flew over and pinned them to the ground one by one.

Yun Chu saw that there was not much water in the copper pot, so he used a wooden spoon to dig a spoonful of water from the bucket next to him and added it to the copper pot. Under the horrified eyes of the woodcutter, he continued to drink his own pots of tea.

The next moment, a barbarian with tangled beard and hair came in from outside. He kicked away the dead robber who had fallen beside the fire and was looking at Yun Chu. Then he looked at Yun Chu with his smoky gray eyes and said:

"Where is the master stationed in Xi? What is his dharma name?"

Yun Chu put his hands together and said: "The poor monk comes from Guangfu Temple in Mount Tai, and his Buddhist name is Wukong."

The barbarian nodded, put away the long bow in his hand and said: "Master Wukong, I can see that you are an accomplished monk. It's a pity that something big happened in this ruined temple today. A certain family asked the master to come here."

Let the earth pass away."
