A brief summary of the first volume 'Into This Good Night'

The first volume is finished.

There is a lot I want to say, so after thinking about it I decided to write a single chapter.

First is the plot.

I started studying after half a year. During this period, I went through the epidemic, graduation, internship, work, and going abroad... To be honest, I am a bit shaky.

Both the coding speed and plot control have significantly declined.

Anyone who has read the previous book knows that I tend to be relatively slow to get started (long-winded), and I didn’t grasp the rhythm very well in the early stages.

Ning Feng, who was reincarnated, faced a dangerous future, and his mentality gradually changed.

From resistance to escape, and then from passive acceptance to active attack, the true face hidden beneath the surface is gradually revealed.

I hope it will be gradual and not so abrupt, so the pace is a little slower.

It's a pity that, as I said before, the writing is not strong enough and everything is in vain.

The pace is slow, the chapters are not broken well, there are fewer people following the book, and there is not much time for me to unfold it slowly.

Also, the first volume did not focus much on the heroine (Ariana is the exception...), and wanted to focus more on the world view.

This book originally wanted to take a different path, but the title attracted some familiar readers to read it.

As a result, they can't see what they expected, so of course they will be dissatisfied, and I understand.

Furthermore, I don’t have a good grasp of the starting point, I’m still groping, and I really can’t let go.

Moreover, it is really not good to set the world in modern society, and the legitimacy of... has been impacted (bushi).

But fortunately, it is a different world with extraordinary creatures, so you can still explain it yourself.

As for character creation, let’s talk about two typical ones.

【Ariana】, bad woman, Dan Maomao, bad but not completely bad.

If you think she is disdainful, but still somewhat good...then you have been succeeded by her. (Mistake)

Her existence runs through the entire main line and she is a very important character.

[Li Tiandu], traitor, fallen angel, adoptive father, and former hero.

Conflict, complexity, tragedy, madness.

This character has actually existed since the beginning, and will pop up from time to time.

It's not exactly like "a snake with a gray thread, a pulse that can run thousands of miles." But at least there are some clues, and it's not a character who has descended from a deus ex machina.

Some of his character settings are like the old Duke Bell, the male protagonist's biological father in the previous book. They are both former heroes who became evil dragons, and they all play the role of a father.

However, the two methods of doing things are different.

The old Duke Bell did not give in. The education he received made him a hero who maintained aristocratic elegance and dignity even if he fell into darkness, and maintained the glory of the family until his death.

Li Tiandu's character is more of a tragedy. He lost his family due to an accident and was heartbroken.

He was contaminated by the gaze of the gods, was unknowingly affected, and finally became a puppet of revenge.

For both of these "father" characters, I didn't let them live.

Some people may find it a pity, but I personally think this is a better way to handle it.

Duke Bell sought death, passing away with the afterglow of the past era, but surviving was torture for him.

Li Tiandu, on the other hand, has committed a crime and will not be forgiven because he was influenced by others, nor will he be spared death because he is the adoptive father of the male protagonist.

Although I always write books about the harem that are not very correct in terms of three views, I still like to write about some things according to my own habits and ideas.

Those who do good will get a good end, and those who do evil will get bad retribution.

Complete the task of eradicating evil.

In terms of picture description, at least until the end of this volume, I have written down the scene I wanted to depict.

The hallucinatory forest hut, Ning Feng wielding a whip, the giant altar across the central area...

There is also the final battle scene. I have wanted to write this for a long time, and I am suffocating...

"Don't Go Gentle into That Good Night"

This is a poem about a father. The poet hopes that his father will not "go gentle into the good night" when facing death.

The poet then listed four people's attitudes towards death, which I interpreted differently.

These four attitudes are considered to be the attitudes of Li Tiandu, the "father", when facing death.

He is complex, even a little divisive. He was once a wise man, a good man, a madman, a serious man...

The combination of pictures and poetry is an attempt for me. It has not reached a satisfactory level, but it is still barely passing. I hope I can improve in the future.

Finally, there was someone standing on the deserted sea cliff and the ruined church.

When daylight broke, the fallen angel Li Tiandu passed away, and Ning Feng awakened the ability of the angel lineage.

This is fate.

But it's not fate.

By the way, let me explain why there was no response from the Watch Club when such a big thing happened.

First, Li Tiandu had resorted to tricks. His plan spanned twenty years and was very meticulous.

Secondly, the Observer Project influenced all of this, and some of them allowed things to progress, hoping for a result.

Third, the entire sacrifice actually took place in a very short period of time, no more than one night.

These will be explained later, so don’t worry.

After you finish speaking happily, say something emo-y.

The results are not ideal.

Writing books is a hobby, but when you don't get recognition, it becomes torture.

Although this is not my first time writing a book, it is my first time opening a book on a subscription site, so I am somewhat prepared.

To be honest, I think my mentality is relatively stable and I can still foresee the current situation.

Just thinking about it is one thing, but actually facing it is another thing.

feeling bad.

I didn’t catch up on reading, and the double-ended recommendation was cut off, which made me really uncomfortable...

I don’t like emo, but I still played emo for a while, and I thought about cutting the book many times.

Finally, let's try to stabilize it and see what happens when it's released.

I'm still very attentive, but if it's really terrible, I will think more about it...

last of the last.

It will be released on May 1, 2022. I have negotiated with the editors for a free period of half a month, which is what I have agreed with you.

I hope everyone can support me when the time comes, so that I can have the confidence to continue.

Grateful.

(Volume 2: The life and death crisis is resolved. It’s time to do something that needs to be done. Some things that need to be done still need to be done.)

(There is too much involved here, please understand.)

at last……

Love you! Thanks for seeing it now!

Give you a split!
