Chapter 121 The end of first grade

Sean, on the other hand, dedicated the rest of his time to the library and the Room of Requirement. After returning from the summer vacation, he would no longer be able to use the wand, so these last moments could not be wasted.

"Bang!" In the practice venue, the dummy was hit hard and flew to the wall by a transparent force.

Sean retracted his hand with satisfaction. The process of running in with Obscurus was faster than he thought. Although he could only borrow part of the power, and the intensity was not as terrifying as when he was in the source of magic, he was already very satisfied.

With Obscurus, he can still resist even if he is disarmed, and he also has two cuties, Dave and Nadja.

After practicing, Sean walked out of the Room of Requirement. Today is the end-of-semester dinner, and the winner of the College Cup will be decided. However, before that, Sean has to go to Newt's place.

The bag Dumbledore gave him had limited space, and Sean was really coveting Newt's suitcase. When he cautiously asked if he could get help, Newt, who was as unruly as he was when he was young, agreed generously.

Come down.

Obviously, the Ministry of Magic's ban on the Invisible Extension Charm has no effect on Newt.

"Sean, take it." Newt handed a ring to Sean.

Sean took the ring in confusion. The ring seemed to be made of sterling silver, with a light blue gemstone inlaid in the middle.

Looking at Sean's expression, Newt smiled shyly: "Sean, you know, I have always regretted one thing."

"Professor Scamander?"

Newt sighed and put his suitcase on the table: "I have always regretted it. Why didn't I choose a glasses case?"

Sean: "..."

"The Seamless Stretch Spell is much more magical than you think, and the wizard's ability can determine the object he casts the spell on." Newt spread his hands regretfully, "I couldn't cast spells on gadgets at that time, and I didn't know how to change them.

How to coexist with the Invisible Stretch Curse, I found a box. As you can probably imagine what happened next, there were more and more magical animals, and just watching them was strenuous enough. What I thought at that time

There’s no other way to change it to something more portable.”

Newt smiled at Sean: "Put it on, rub the inside of the ring with your thumb, and say 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' silently."

Sean put the ring on his index finger and rubbed it with his thumb.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

Then, Sean saw that the sapphire on the ring moved like a mechanical part, and soon it turned into a huge funnel.

Miraculously, Sean didn't even feel the weight of the funnel.

"The wonderful effect of the Levitation Spell, there are some elements of alchemy in it." Newt looked very happy.

"That's so cool..." Sean praised, and then he wanted to scratch his head in embarrassment, but was hit on the head by a huge funnel.

"Ouch!"

"Oh, be careful, Sean." Newt grabbed the funnel and pulled it down. He pressed hard and the funnel turned into a thin layer.

"You can put it on the ground." Newt squatted down and put the rectangle on the ground. Sean rubbed his head and stretched over to see. There was a hole on the ground that could go down, and there was a vertical ladder inside.

.

"This is great, Professor Scamander," Sean couldn't suppress his smile, and then said sheepishly, "But it's precious, Professor, I can't have it..."

Newt waved his hand indifferently: "I did this with an alchemist before, but obviously, if you want to move, you have to ask the little cuties in my box if they agree. They refused irritably.

I can only keep this ring to gather dust."

He turned the funnel back into a ring and handed it to Sean with a smile: "Just think of it as the assistant's salary. You still have to come to my place once a week next semester. Merlin's beard, you won't be here for the whole summer, those guys

You’re going to quarrel with me again.”

Looking at the distressed Newt, Sean couldn't help but laugh out loud. He finally took the ring: "Professor Scamander, I owe you a favor."

Newt waved his hand nonchalantly and pointed again: "You have to prepare the contents yourself, and when you get in, it will turn back into a ring by itself, so be careful to keep it."

"I will, Professor."

Sean was in a great mood after getting the ring, and at the end-of-semester dinner, his mood was even happier.

"Ding ding." Dumbledore knocked the goblet with a smile on his face, and the noise in the auditorium calmed down.

"Oh, I feel sincerely happy to see your smiling faces," Dumbledore stood up. He was wearing a bright red robe today, "but before enjoying the dinner, I have to ask you to listen.

My old man’s cliché.”

There was good-natured laughter in the auditorium, and Dumbledore continued: "First of all, let us thank the guests from afar, the students of Nurmengard, who showed the spirit of elite students in the exchanges between the two schools.

Ability has also contributed to the common progress of the two schools."

The Nurmengaardians stood up and bowed expressionlessly. Except for Dumbledore's applause, which was particularly warm, the applause from the Hogwarts people was all hearty.

"And our students at Hogwarts are doing well. It's been such a rich year. Your little heads must be full of things. During the upcoming summer vacation, remember to digest it well. There will be more to come in the new semester.

There is more waiting for you."

"The next step is to award the Academy Cup."

"Fourth place, Gryffindor, 392 points, third place, Hufflepuff, 415 points, second place -" Dumbledore paused deliberately, seeing the faces of Slytherin and Ravenclaw.

The students all sat up straight before he continued with a smile, "Slytherin, 439 points, first place, Ravenclaw, 477 points!"

Ravenclaw's cheers suddenly resounded throughout the auditorium, Sean was patted on the shoulder by a lot of people, and Hermione also received warm cheers. Some proud girls' faces turned red with excitement.

.

Around the auditorium, blue and bronze ribbons hung down, and the sharp-eyed Ravenclaw eagle flag fluttered. Professor Flitwick stood on the stool and shook hands with all the professors with a smile on his face, taking over the half-term office.

Snape, Head of House Lytlin, stood and forced a reluctant smile.

Sean, who was celebrating with everyone, looked at the teacher's table. Professor Dumbledore and Professor Scamander smiled at him at the same time, but Snape didn't even look at him.

He was looking at Harry coldly, who was rushing back to attend the dinner.

Under the flying giant eagle flag, Sean and Hermione, who had a red face, looked at each other and smiled even more happily.
