Chapter 157 The Basilisk Reappears

Mrs. Lorris, who had dark gray fur, was shouting anxiously and panicked. Like her owner, her big, protruding bulb-like eyes were filled with fear.

It bit Sean's trouser leg and tried to drag him away.

"Is there danger here? Isn't it... something happened to Mr. Filch?" Sean asked doubtfully.

Filch rarely attended banquets because the smiling faces of the students would make him lose his smile. Did the castle administrator accidentally fall while oiling his shackles?

Sean did not go to Filch's office immediately. He picked up Mrs. Norris and ran quickly towards the auditorium.

Find the professor first...

However, just after Sean and Hermione ran through the stone corridor, they saw two figures falling to the ground as soon as they turned the corner.

Under the dark, thin candle, two stiff people were lying motionless on the ground.

Filch, the castle administrator, lay on the floor. His whole body was cold and stiff, and there was an indescribable look of fear in his big light bulb-like eyes. The blue flame of the candle shone on him, and there were cleaning tools scattered around him.

cleaning tools.

Next to him was Edmund Grubb, whom Sean and the others had just talked about. He was no longer milky white and translucent, but became completely black and smoky. He was suspended in the air six inches above the ground.

, with the same frightened expression on his face as Filch.

There are some writings scrawled on the dark gray stone wall.

The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, and those untrustworthy dirty blood people, those Mudbloods who are not qualified to sit in Hogwarts, must all be eliminated!

Basilisk! Sean's pupils shrank violently, and he immediately thought of the murderer's name.

"Dave!"

Almost instinctively, he summoned Dave. The mutated winged demon's body became larger and larger, and under Sean's command, it firmly covered his and Hermione's bodies.

"Don't open your eyes, use your senses." Sean warned.

As a crocodile, Dave can sense the terrain around him without using his eyes.

Hermione also saw this scene, and although she didn't know why Sean summoned Dave in such a panic, she still kept her mouth shut.

However, the basilisk seemed to have gotten into the water pipe again after the attack, and Dave did not feel any danger.

Under Dave's protection, Sean led Hermione and ran quickly towards the auditorium. Sean breathed a sigh of relief until he saw the brightly lit main entrance.

"Sean, are those Filch and Edmund? Were they attacked?" Hermione asked quickly and quietly.

Sean unfolded his sleeves to let Dave shrink back and said in a deep voice: "No, it's a terrifying creature... It seems like there really is no time for dessert today."

As soon as we arrived in the foyer, the noisy sounds of students could be heard. They had just finished their perfect Halloween dinner, and everyone had smiles on their faces. They were preparing to go back to their dormitories to rest.

"Everyone, get back!" Sean shouted immediately when he saw the students walking out in twos and threes.

But in the noisy environment, few people heard his voice at all, and the students dispersed while talking.

"Bang!" A huge explosion sounded, and a hole was blown out of the stone wall above the foyer. Everyone stopped and looked at the door.

Sean held up his wand with a serious look on his face, holding the annoying Mrs. Norris in his arms, looking weird and weird.

Sean had no choice but to cast a spell and make a big fuss. After all, the basilisk was still in the castle. What if it couldn't hold it back anymore and tried to attack again? Sean didn't want his classmates to die innocently and tragically.

"Everyone, please return to the auditorium, there is danger outside!" Sean shouted loudly.

"Playing tricks... Wallop, your Halloween joke is terrible." A Slytherin student sneered sinisterly.

"You little brat in the second grade, are you addicted to the extra points last year?" Next to that person, another boy in a silver-green robe also opened his mouth and started mocking.

Snape has given Sean several points recently. Although it is only a small fraction of one or two points, it still makes the little snakes unhappy. When they look at Sean, their eyes are full of displeasure.

Sean didn't even look at the two people and walked straight into the auditorium.

"Hey, kid, senior is talking to you." A hand stretched out.

Sean directly raised the wand: "The needle penetrated the body..."

The man shrank back quickly and almost tripped.

"How dare you use evil curses in school?" he shouted angrily.

"Idiot...if you want to die, please do it yourself." Sean didn't even look back and walked towards the auditorium under the surprised eyes of others.

The professors had obviously noticed the movement at the door, as Professor McGonagall was walking towards here with a serious face.

Is Professor Dumbledore not here? After Sean glanced at it, he frowned ugly.

"Wallup, do you know what you are doing?" Professor McGonagall walked up to him.

"Professor, there is danger in the castle."

He leaned into Professor McGonagall's ear, and then quickly repeated what he saw.

After listening, Professor McGonagall's expression became even more serious. She put the wand to her throat, and a loud roar like a lion spread throughout the auditorium: "All students! All come back to the auditorium! Prefects

Call the roll call immediately and report as soon as anyone is absent!"

Professor McGonagall's intimidation was still extremely high. Although they were confused, all the students still walked back to the auditorium obediently.

"Mr. Wallop, take us over there." Professor McGonagall called out to Professor Flitwick and Professor Scamander, while the other professors stayed in the auditorium to maintain order and protect the students.

When walking out of the foyer, Professor McGonagall saw the hole that Sean had blown. She waved her wand, the gravel flew back, and the wall became smooth again.

"Professor, Wallop just blatantly used a curse on me!" At the door, the Slytherin senior who had been scared away by Sean immediately walked up.

"He was saving your life! Stupid! Mr. Trevino, because you framed your classmates, Slytherin will deduct five points!" Professor McGonagall turned to Sean, her tone became much gentler, "You did a great job.

Okay, Mr. Wallop, Ravenclaw plus thirty points."

"Professor, I..." Trevino's eyes widened in disbelief.

When he was still about to say something, a hand pinched the back of his neck.

He turned his head, shook his head and swallowed: "House, Dean..."

"Shut your mouth." Snape said with a gloomy face.

In the school infirmary, several professors gathered in a row, and on the hospital bed was the petrified Filch.

"This is some kind of magic I've never seen before..." Professor Flitwick said with a serious face.
