Chapter 274: Grindelwald's Surprise

Sean took out a pen and paper, preparing to present the situation in words to facilitate reasoning and association. Compared with recalling things in his mind, words are more intuitive and concrete.

The actual experience of using the quill pen is not good. Except in class, he prefers to use the fountain pen-a gift from Hermione.

The writing crossed the paper, and there were ink dots blurred at the end. Sean's hand holding the pen paused for a moment.

Grindelwald, Dumbledore.

Looking at the two names on the paper, Sean shook his head silently, and then continued writing.

Although exhausted, Sean's thinking became clearer as the information was recorded intuitively.

The source of the whole thing came from the Wizards United Guards, and Sean clicked on three points.

"First, what forces are behind the escort?

Tentatively designated as part of the pure-blood family, the guy Grindelwald calls neither human nor ghost (temporarily called the Returner), the Ministry of Magic of various countries (doubtful), Dumbledore (doubtful)

Second, what is the purpose of the escort trying to arrest Grindelwald?

Justice (impossible); weakening the influence of Nurmengard and Grindelwald in the wizarding world (may be part of the reason); Grindelwald's existence will affect a huge plan (higher possibility, but it needs

More information, testimony and reasoning); I, Sean Wallop, is their target (unlikely, my presence at the scene is not inevitable, Grindelwald's behavior is difficult to understand, if they want to target me

, not in such an unstable way.)

3. Dumbledore’s move

Dumbledore was indeed one of the driving forces in this incident, and his motive is temporarily unclear (it is speculated to be related to Ariana, and Ariana's condition may be related to the returnees)."

Sean rubbed his eyes and added another line: After the incident, I felt like Dumbledore was avoiding me.

After listing these, Sean drew a line and then wrote a name underneath.

"Voldemort."

"First, Voldemort's appearance was unexpected. Is he directly connected to the Guards?"

Sean's pen tip hesitated for a while. He closed his eyes and recalled carefully before continuing to write: "Voldemort seemed to have arrived at the scene at the end of the duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald."

"I have an impression of the person he parasitized. There was nothing unusual about that person when he passed through my fire ring. (When he appeared later, he was unable to break through the fire ring I cast again. It can be judged that he did not break the instant magic spell of the magic flame blessing)

, which shows that Voldemort had not yet parasitized him."

"Based on the previous information, it seems that Voldemort received the relevant information and rushed to the scene, and waited until most people left before making his next move."

"Voldemort's goal was very clear. He wanted to kill me but failed, and then he only focused on killing Grindelwald."

Sean found some candies at random and threw a piece into his mouth. The sweetness spread in his mouth, and another guess appeared in his mind.

If there was no "ticking time bomb" for Grindelwald, which was the second fire in Paris, Dumbledore would not have left to prevent the disaster. He should have handed Grindelwald over to the Guards. In that case, the parasites on the Guards members

Voldemort in the body has a more hidden and safer environment to do things.

In other words, Voldemort came here to kill Grindelwald... Does this prove that Dumbledore is connected with the person behind the whole thing, but he does not want to kill Grindelwald?

To be precise, the mastermind behind the scenes may have reached some kind of deal with Dumbledore. One of the contents of the deal was that Grindelwald would not be deprived of his life. After Dumbledore took action, the other party mobilized Voldemort in some way.

, their original intention was to kill Grindelwald.

The bright moonlight outside the window shines on Sean's fingers, the tip of the pen scratches the paper, and the "rustling" sound mixes with Sean's steady breathing, giving people a strange sense of tranquility.

"Oscurus." Sean wrote the second word.

"To be precise, Voldemort parasitizes others, and he is also parasitized. That big mouth can obviously target the Obscurus (temporarily called the Mouth of Silence), and it is an absolute suppression without any reason (the Obscurus who is guilty is also absorbed

(The Mouth of Silence has also been enhanced in strength). Voldemort has always thought that I was an Obscurus, so this thing is most likely aimed at me, and this may be due to my presence."

"But he didn't consider the guilt in my body..." Sean frowned and thought, and continued to write, "Maybe he did, but the guilt was too terrible to be targeted. And after what happened tonight, regardless of the previous situation

How, now, the people behind the scenes must have a certain degree of understanding of the guilt in my body."

His brush strokes returned to the above lines, and then he wrote after 'Voldemort': "Voldemort's mental state was close to madness when he appeared, but according to the known information, even if the Horcrux is destroyed, Voldemort will at least not be there.

It seems crazy on the surface (maybe related to the mastermind behind the scenes).”

"Is Voldemort really dead?" Sean hesitated for a moment, and finally wrote a big question mark at the end.

This guy was probably the most surviving wizard he knew.

Sean smacked his lips and wrote his conclusion about Voldemort.

"The reason why Voldemort took action is probably because he got some kind of promise from the person behind the scenes, and the madness of his soul may also come from this. It cannot be ruled out that he still has a fragment of his soul alive, so precautions need to be taken - at least

This will cause obstacles to his subsequent resurrection."

The last hint of sweetness in his mouth slowly disappeared. Sean stretched out his hand to get another piece, but finally stopped.

Looking at a sheet full of parchment, Sean sighed again.

This was probably the day he sighed the most in his life.

The root of the matter still lies with the mastermind behind the scenes. He still has too little information, and Sean is a little hesitant.

Dumbledore was hiding from him, and for the first time he had this thought - is Dumbledore still trustworthy now?

After much hesitation, Sean decided to find a way to talk to Dumbledore - if he didn't avoid him.

He picked up the parchment and took one last look at it, then rolled it into a ball and threw it into the air.

After you finish writing, just sort out your thoughts and then destroy the thing on the spot.

"Fire..." Sean habitually took out the wand from the wand bag on the left side of his robe. He was used to practicing his casting speed, so when he held the handle of the wand, he was already exerting slight force to let the wand move.

The tip made small left and right jitters during the action of casting a fire spell.

But Sean didn't continue chanting the spell, and he was stunned for a moment.

His elm dragon heartstring, thirteen-inch long wand was gone, and the smooth and heavy feel that he had held in his hand for thousands of times became rough and light.

The corner of Sean's eye twitched.

"Damn old man..."

He took out his wand, no, to be precise, he took out a tattered branch.

No! This is just a rotten tree branch!

Grindelwald's wand!

Where’s my wand?! Where’s my wand that’s so thick, so long, so elegant?!

Sean took a deep, trembling breath to prevent himself from fainting from the rage.

The rotten tree branch trembled along with Sean's hand, and a line of faint golden font appeared out of thin air.

"A surprise, Sean! Nice change, isn't it? With the Wand Shapeshifting spell..."

The corners of Sean's eyes twitched violently.

When did this old guy swap my wand?! I had my wand tested before when I went to the Ministry of Magic. There was no change?!

After taking a hard breath, he looked at the wand angrily.

That's right, it was Grindelwald's, and Sean realized that he had been wrong before.

This rough appearance, this light feel, this natural texture, this is not a rotten tree branch - this is a piece of rotten tree bark!

This wand should have a unique name: "The real reason Grindelwald stole the Elder Wand"

Sean was filled with hatred, but now Grindelwald had long gone, and it was impossible to get his elm wand back.

He was a little irritated. Ollivander said that it is not the wizard who chooses the wand, but the wand that chooses the wizard. He is using his wand well, but will suddenly changing it affect his performance?

Sean glanced at the transformation spell and waved his wand casually.

Something unexpected happened. He could feel his magic flowing to the wand. The obstacles and obscurities he expected did not appear. The magic flowed into the wand extremely smoothly and exerted its effect.

The rotten bark turned into the shape of his elm wand, which felt and weighed the same as before. More importantly, this wand was as easy to control as his own wand.

This is unreasonable... Sean opened his mouth slightly.

Thinking like this, he took out another wand from the ring, which was Voldemort's yew wand.

Sean had used it in front of Death Eaters before, and he was quite obedient, but there were some slight obstacles when casting the spell.

The tip of the "Ultimate Fluorescent Flash (lumos maxima)" emitted a dazzling light, illuminating the entire room as if it were daytime.

There is also no obstruction, just like my own wand... Sean's pupils shrank.

Can I control all wands perfectly? Why... Sean was stunned for a moment.

He became guilty tonight...

Could it be that, because of the appearance of guilt, my magic power may have changed in some way and the wand has surrendered?

And Grindelwald said: "Good change, isn't it?"

Which means this change is a good thing for me…

Sean looked at the two wands in his hands, and his expression became strange... Why did he feel like he was stealing someone... No, he stole the wand's heart...

He blinked, called up the system panel, and then looked at the inventory.

Nothing else has changed, only the wand column is different.

Wand (Purple): A fragment of a branch that Grindelwald tore off casually. The material is unknown and the core of the wand is missing.

Damn, there is no core in the wand... Sean complained as usual, and then he was surprised. There is no core in the wand. It can have such power just by relying on the body of the wand, which is made of unknown materials. Grindelwald has a hand.

Raising the wand that changed its shape, Sean recited the spell: "Incendio"

The paper ball on the ground was instantly enveloped in a ball of flame, and it quickly turned into ashes.

Sean quickly withdrew his magic power.

I almost burned down my room...

He was a little surprised. He input a little magic power according to his usual habit, but the range and power of the flames increased significantly.

So you still made money yourself?

Sean curled his lips. Although this wand looked good, he still liked his own one... But there was nothing he could do now. Let's use it for now and get it back after contacting Grindelwald.

He lay down on the bed tiredly, and then suddenly realized that Grindelwald's move had disrupted his troubled mood, and he felt much more relaxed.

"Set a goal, develop your strength, find out information, then be wary of the Guards and pure-blood families, and finally organize Voldemort's resurrection..." Sean muttered.

Then, sleepiness hit him and Sean fell into a deep sleep.

The next day, when Sean stepped into the Nurmengard Auditorium, he became the center of attention. Not only the students of the two schools, but also the faculty and staff headed by Vita Rozier also focused their attention on him.

.

Not only that, but the members of the escort team stationed in Nurmengard with the mission of "maintaining order and investigating follow-up" also looked at him with various eyes.

There was no tension or worry on Sean's face, and there was even a casual smile on his lips.

This was within his expectation, and there was nothing surprising. In other words, being the focus of attention was completely insignificant compared to other things.

He took his seat naturally and said hello to the classmates around him.

The Weasley twins, Harry and his group had been waiting for him for a long time, and now they all came over mysteriously to ask about last night's events.

Hermione pushed a group of people away and said seriously and quietly: "Don't cause trouble for Sean anymore!"

Fred blinked quickly: "I understand, I understand, there are many people with mixed ears."

Hermione had already anticipated what would happen this morning. She and Sean had already discussed it, and now she whispered: "I'll tell you when we get together at the club."

The others nodded in understanding.

George put his arm around Sean's shoulders and licked his lips at the escort members standing at the door.

"Not long after you disappeared last night, that group of people entered the castle, called the special incident maintenance team. I heard that they started investigating Professor Nurmengard in the middle of the night."

Sean glanced at the teachers' table. Vita Rozier, who was appointed as the new principal, was still sitting in her position as vice principal and was sternly scanning the students in the auditorium.

"No conflict?" he asked.

"No," George shook his head, "I heard that they cooperated very well. Even if the investigation team was aggressive, there were no conflicts. Of course, I don't know the specific content."

Sean nodded. It seemed that the professors in Nurmengard should have been instructed by Grindelwald, but he didn't know how it would develop in the future.

As he was talking, the sound of hard-soled shoes hitting the floor came closer, and a middle-aged wizard with cold eyes walked over.

"Wallup, come with me."
