Chapter 319 Internal Breakthrough

The tower's interior echoed with the sound of bolter fire.

The corridors here are so narrow that even two Space Marines cannot walk side by side.

Sevatar, wearing a bat-winged bone helmet, walked in front, using explosive bombs to destroy anyone who dared to show up in front of him.

Humans, demons and other monsters died at his hands, leaving an endless corridor of blood behind him.

Thor followed behind him, picking up those fish that slipped through the net.

The two people who entered the belly of the devil felt like they were in a deserted place.

Not long after, they entered a long and narrow gallery.

The demons jumped back and forth, howling ear-piercingly, and the cultists fought alongside them, hiding behind fallen statues and firing.

However, they only had basic small arms, and all the Space Marine armor simply deflected this fire.

"It's really rare."

Sol commented.

"It's not very common for demons and humans to fight together."

"It's okay not to have this kind of scenery, it's disgusting."

Sevatar said indifferently, while three bullets hit his armor.

In response, he blew away a guy hiding behind a pillar, then brandished his halberd and charged into a hail of live ammunition and laser beams, Thor following closely behind him.

No matter whether they were demons or mortals, they could not resist the fierce attack of the two elite warriors. Most of them died on the spot, and only a few slipped away and fled deep into the church.

"Let them go. It's not a big place here and they can't run far."

Sevatar reached down and grabbed a dying human.

"Where is your master?"

The man choked on his own blood and couldn't speak clearly:

"Long live the Prince of Darkness..."

"as you wish."

Sevatar immediately broke his neck and threw the body aside.

"Let's go to the chanting hall and have a look. The servant of the Prince of Darkness is very arrogant. Maybe he is sitting there waiting for us."

When they entered the chanting hall, the demon who called himself the Soul Singer was indeed inside.

Its slender body was lazily slumped on a throne made of human skin, sipping a glass of purple wine, and its ugly and beautiful face had a look of anticipation and boredom mixed together.

As Sevatar approached, he lowered his legs from the armrest and raised his glass in greeting.

"Salute to you, the Night King's favorite son!"

It said in beautiful Gothic:

"I am the Singer, the greatest singer under my Lord, and I welcome you to the center of my kingdom, or rather, the only remaining part of this kingdom."

As he said this, the demon had no intention of leaving.

Thor scanned the room, checking for hidden threats. His helmet marked places where weapons might be hidden, and the marks disappeared one by one as he eliminated them one by one.

"Oh, that's not necessary."

The chanter guessed what Thor was doing.

"I didn't bother arming this room, I didn't think it was necessary... That's what I thought, and please forgive me for bragging, I often think about it, if someone can break through here,

Hiding a few traps or bodyguards behind these places wouldn't do me much good, and besides, such modifications would destroy the character of this thing, which is so endearingly... perfect."

It opened its four arms and pointed at the surrounding dark stone walls, on which were floating the faces of countless men and women. They seemed to be struggling, sometimes in joy, sometimes in pain.

Those moans and howls are poured straight into people's brains.

Sevatar took off his helmet and spat on the ground.

"The slaves of the Prince of Darkness are both sadists and masochists, so I will kill you happily, including the mortals you enslave."

"Oh? But I didn't enslave anyone. Everyone here is free. The people here are free from the soul-eating emperor. But I guess you can't understand the concept of freedom at all? Just like a sword can't understand these.

, after all, you were just a tool in the past, and tools are not free. What a pity! You are about to destroy things you cannot understand."

"Then shut up and do it."

Sevatar had no interest in what this demon had to say.

The demon stood up from the throne, and its presence suddenly became extremely huge.

"Do you think you can kill me? Your arrogance is comparable to those of the Gray Knights! They can't stop me from realizing my ambition, and you are no better! This world was once a paradise! Before you were destroyed

Won’t you think about it first?”

"Have you said enough? I only need to take one thing from you, and that is enough."

Sevatar's halberd roared.

"It's always good to get people to see things from another perspective. Life is too precious to experience it from just one perspective. It's a waste."

The chanter looked at Sevatar.

"But I suspect I'm kidding. You man-made creatures have never been good at thinking."

With that said, it took another sip of the wine in the glass.

"Your conspiracy has been discovered, your city has been razed, and your followers are all dead. Despite this, you still appear careless... I know what kind of creatures you are, and you don't care about these.

It's all just a game to you."

The demon shrugged.

"Maybe, I do need a little fun now and then, what about you, believers among the stars?"

The demon threw the empty wine glass to the ground, but did not take out any weapons.

"Let's see...if you can kill me, then you win. How about that, is it fair?"

"I like bets like this."

Sevatar walked towards the demon and brandished his chainsaw halberd.

The demon did not make any movement to block, but dodged the attack as smoothly as water.

"You have to work harder."

The Crow Prince sneered and attacked with all his strength, using a series of dazzling moves.

The chanter kept dodging and making faces at the warrior.

Finally, Sevatar feinted and hit it with a backhand chop.

The high-speed rotating sawtooth passed through the demon, slashing diagonally from its shoulder to its waist, but Sevatar could feel that his weapon encountered no resistance.

The next second, the halberd hit the ground with sparks.

The Prince of Crows immediately cursed.

"Damn it!"

The demon shattered into thousands of small points of light, and then gathered together again.

Then, it pretended to be dying and fell to the ground, then turned over and jumped up and bowed.

"This is really rewarding, but I want to remind you two that this is my domain now. It is impossible to kill me here. No one can do it."

boom--!

Suddenly, the dome of the hall exploded, and a silver-gray figure fell heavily, creating a large crater with a diameter of more than five meters on the ground.

"what about me."
