Chapter 461 High-Level Enchanted Warrior

"This is an enchanted warrior, a high-level one, so be careful."

Talos walked up to Soshyan and whispered the origin of the other party.

For some Chaos Space Marines, dedicating their souls to the service of the gods is not enough. Those who desire power and are willing to pay any price for it will surrender themselves entirely to Chaos, becoming the voluntary non-physical beings of the Warp.

Host.

This enchantment process is a long and painful experience, as the demon within them eats away at their physical form, molding them to better suit their bizarre needs.

Those dedicated to enchantment spend months in rituals of corruption and sacrifice as they prepare their bodies to house the demonic entity. Although the personalities of these semi-mad supplicants are permanently incorporated, large-scale enchantments

The ritual remains a great celebration of the alliance between mortals and daemons. For the mortal hosts, they gain a shortcut to great power; for the daemons, the flesh and bones of the host also provide an environment that allows them to escape the infiltration of the warp.

Stable anchors that exist in the physical universe; their power will not weaken over time, on the contrary, the demon and the host will remain as one almost permanently.

On the battlefield, everyone can easily identify the possessed warriors by their strange features and mutated bodies.

They may have vicious claws, grotesquely twisted limbs, tentacles, wings, extra mouths and eyes, or sharp claws capable of cutting through ceramite and steel.

During battle, they sometimes seem to appear and disappear in and out of reality, and even their form changes from one moment to the next.

These violent killers leap and move like predatory beasts, bursting into frenzy like tornadoes of fangs and claws in their movements. They look more like an extraordinary storm than humans.

They are trackers par excellence, able to perceive both the physical and the celestial realms - they can see fear, taste doubt and feel the greasy psychic stain of despair.

If they are willing to deign to aid their allies, they can even use this incredible sense to guide fleets of Chaos Space Marines through the ever-moving and changing waves of the Warp.

However, their main task - and what they enjoy most - is to tear apart their prey in violent and creative displays of violence.

And high-level enchanted warriors are the best among them.

Only those warriors who have committed the most obvious evil deeds will attract the attention of the most vicious warp beings called emissaries by the dark gods.

Afterwards, these beings will enter the bodies of those warriors. This process is very dangerous, and it can be said that there is no chance of survival, and if it fails, the soul of the possessed person will be swallowed up.

Even so, some people dare to try, because once they succeed, the benefits will be extremely generous.

The High Enchanted Warriors are far superior to their monstrous kin, being not only stronger and more savage, but also possessing an evil charm that even pure creatures of the Warp can recognize.

A large number of Chaos creations will gather around them, and these low-level demons will look up to these deformed champions with strong reverence, because these high-level possessed warriors are living evidence of the final ascension that awaits them all.

In the field of subspace, such power often means the status of one party's hegemony.

"There may be more than one enchanted warrior here."

"I see."

Soshyan stepped forward slowly, looking around him for any signs of an ambush.

"All on alert."

Under Soshyan's order, Armin stepped forward and walked to the left, while Mark took up the position to fill the gap on the right, and the nuns retreated to the rear to prevent sneak attackers from behind.

When the figure raised his head, Soshiyang tightened his grip on the sword in his hand.

It was a pale face with basically no facial features, only a mouthpart full of tiny sharp teeth like a snake eel, which looked very strange.

"Traitor, call out all your lackeys and accomplices!"

Upon hearing Soshyan's words, the strange white face immediately laughed sarcastically.

"Aren't they always there?"

As soon as he finished speaking, a dozen figures suddenly jumped out of the darkness.

The swiftness of their movements is unmatched by any astral knights.

Mark immediately jumped out to the side, avoiding the charging enchanted warrior.

The original colors of the power armor on these warriors were hard to distinguish, and now they were surrounded by a layer of darkness that rippled in the air like an oil slick.

And in the depths of darkness, only shadows rise and fall, squeezing the bone plates that separate the realities on both sides.

Strictly speaking, they are formless: just many eyes, multiple mouths with long tusks, and curved horns.

Although Mark dodged the blow, the possessed warrior also broke through the original formation, knocked down an astral knight to the ground, and rushed back into the dark corridor like lightning.

Then, another possessed warrior came over to kill him, ignoring the man who fell to the ground, and pointed directly at the other warriors.

The bolters immediately began to roar, and the warriors who had no time to fire drew their swords to fight with them.

The high-level possessed warriors Soshiyang faced began to become deformed.

Its body grew larger and stronger, so much so that the armor could hardly cover his body.

First, the nails pierced the tips of the gauntlets, turning into sharp claws as long as daggers, and then the once shining eyes were as bottomless as caves, glowing with a dark luster, like crude oil gushing out at midnight.

For a moment, the courage of all the soldiers present was captured by him.

Until Talos roared.

"Kill this beast!"

He rushed forward with lightning speed and cut off the opponent's hand from the wrist with a sword, causing the high-level possessed warrior to let out a painful gasp.

The next second, blood-like tentacles spurted out from the fracture, twitching with unnatural vitality.

Suddenly, a tentacle wrapped around Talos' outstretched leg and threw him across the air.

The prophet hit the wall hard, and the ceramic armor cracked.

"For the Emperor!"

Another warrior also rushed up with his chainsword raised high, and then the other two tentacles hit him in the chest like a heavy punch, knocking him to the ground.

Soshiyang held the Sheng Yan Sword tightly and stepped forward to challenge. His roar echoed in the small prison:

"For the Emperor!"

The high-level possessed warrior laughed wildly, and this harsh and ugly sound bit everyone's nerves.

"The false emperor is dead!!"

The tentacles twisted rapidly, and in the blink of an eye they transformed into a heavy hammer made of flesh and blood.

The high-level enchanted warrior swung it like a breaking hammer, smashing the surrounding walls to pieces, whizzing by as metal shards flew everywhere and smoke filled the air.

The opponent's speed was incredibly fast, and Soshyan barely dodged - his head almost missed the heavy hammer.

Then he thrust out his sword, and the tip of the sword hit the tough ceramic armor, but was immediately caught by the opponent's claws.

Then the enchanted warrior turned his hammer into claws and only attacked Soshiyang's face.

He took two steps back to avoid the sharp claws, stabilized his body, and thrust out another sword.

During the fierce battle, Soshiyang found a gap. The armor plate in one area was overwhelmed by the swelling body of the high-level enchanted warrior and shifted. He stepped forward with all his strength and thrust out the Holy Flame Sword.

Where the sword blade passed, the skin and flesh were divided, and the blood flowed like a fountain.
