Rogris closed his eyes, too, and tried not to imagine what would happen if they fell into the magma.
He tried not to imagine such a scene: the magma burned his flesh and bones, the thick smoke suffocated him, and his body became fragmented - such pain was unbearable, and of course, he would not survive for so long that he could experience these things, but his mind was always happy to use these horror scenes of misfortune to make fun of him.
Rogris took a deep breath and forcibly cleared the tragic phenomena from his mind to prevent them from interfering with himself.
Suddenly, he heard a heavy blow from the bottom of the spacecraft and immediately opened his eyes.
"What's that sound? Is something happening?"
Rui Boronat looked at him strangely, and although the other party had no expression, Rogris could still feel his smirk at his panic.
"We're just landing."
Rogris let out a trembling sigh with relief, feeling sincerely grateful for being able to stand on land again - although the more accurate statement should be the land of Mars.
Even so, no matter what, how stable can a land supported on an ocean formed by liquid rocks that can burn everything to ashes in the blink of an eye?
A hissing sound from the gas leaked drew his attention to the rear of the aircraft, and was slowly lowering the moving gangway with the wailing sound of the piston.
The next moment, a wave of heat filled the cabin instantly, and Rogris gasped for the sudden high temperature.
Sweat immediately oozed out of his forehead, and the saliva in his mouth quickly dried up.
"The throne is above, it's so hot here!"
"Thanks to the heat exchanger and gas separator."
Uwe Monroe said.
"Without them, everyone will be killed by the high temperature and poisonous gas here in an instant."
Rogris nodded and followed Uwe Monroe out from the inside of the aircraft, while the rest of the team followed Rogris.
As they walked down the gangway, Rogris even had to cover his eyes to prevent the strong light from the lava lagoon and the rusty red sky from stabbing the eyes.
Staying in the closed temple of technology for a long time, Rogris suddenly realized that he was so eager to see the sky.
Not to mention Nesson 4, the natural environment is really good. Whenever Rogris works, he will stroll around the mountainous area where the monastery is located and relax.
But the sky here looks low and dangerous, with heavy smoke and clouds discharged from the refinery surrounded by flames in the distance mixed with granular particles, surging upward like huge waves.
Although he knew that the clouds gathered together in the distance were not the dark clouds in nature, but the exhaust gas emitted, when he saw them pressing heavily on the horizon like a stagnant omen, he still couldn't help but think of the smoke from the battlefield.
In a sense, Mars is like an eternal battlefield.
Leaving the high walls of the city, outside the wasteland, there are a large number of abandoned servants and machinery wandering all day long. They are like beasts in the wild world, attacking any visible target.
And these are the consequences left by Mars after repeated civil wars.
Rogris followed the guide, with high armrests surrounding the landing platform, and every few meters along the guardrail, a towering silver vertical rod with a constantly buzzing device stretched into the sky - this is the heat exchanger and gas separator mentioned by Uve Monroe.
Rogris speculated that each vertical pole was coiled with a cloud of steam, and the drip pipe ran down the vertical pole and finally drilled into the deck of the platform to conduct heat elsewhere.
"It must have cost an innumerable amount of energy to disperse such a huge amount of heat."
He said, pointing to the machine on the silver vertical pole.
"What method do you use to filter harmful gases in the air? Artificial fiber membranes, nanoadsorption, or low-temperature distillation?"
"You know these things?"
Uwe Monroe turned around and looked at him curiously.
"That, I've learned them in the temple."
Rogris explained.
"Xu Although my logic grades are not very good, my grades in other subjects are still good. This is a must-have question."
"This is the gift of Omnisaiah, and this information is stored in your mind, and in the days to come, you can make use of this knowledge again when you fight for the empire."
"I think so."
Rogris nodded, feeling a little embarrassed by the respectful tone in his voice.
He then turned his eyes away from Uwe Monroe, and then saw an ochre-painted vehicle coming out of the building closest to them - a tower made of ferrous metal, and heading towards them along the boom.
Under its chassis, there are many slender legs as thin as stilts, moving in a strange and mechanical gait, like a stubby centipede.
As the vehicle approached, Rogris saw a large servant being welded to the front of the vehicle.
Normally a driver should be sitting there.
With a bang, the vehicle stopped beside them, and used its numerous long feet to turn along its central axis, and finally stopped and landed on the deck.
Uwe Monroe opened a hatch door on the side of the vehicle and signaled that the technical sergeants should also climb up.
“This thing looks a bit disgusting.”
As always, Loyk Lugo made another violent argument. His big mouth caused a lot of trouble during his study in the temple. If he hadn't had his outstanding skills in casting and smelting, the Lord of the Temple would have fired him.
But at least he has recited no twenty warnings in the past ten years.
"Tin, shut your mouth! Get in trouble here, be careful to be thrown into the volcano!"
Haaland Arucard stopped the technical sergeant of the Star Dragon from continuing to speak loudly.
But Uve Monroe never said anything,
Everyone boarded the centipede vehicle and sat down on a metal bench.
When Rogrist felt that Mars was in such a strange shape, he thought of traveling in a vehicle that was so weird.
Thinking of this, the weird vehicle and its legs stood up again, opened a small skylight, and then walked towards the giant black tower with a sway.
"Where are we going?"
Rui Boronat asked.
“We will go to meet Master Farora Hatfilia.”
The tech priest Uve Monroe's emotional answer.
"He asked you to see him as soon as you arrive."
"Oh? I thought we would receive this honor later."
“It has nothing to do with honor.”
Uwe Monroe shook his head, his tone not harsh.
"The Lord of Forging has a purpose in doing things, and he will decide what you can learn here."
The walking vehicle gradually walked towards the huge metal tower of black, and as Rogris looked back at the cluster of clouds, a trace of fear obscured his desire to see fresh and magical things.
He still has no clue about the active metals, so can he find clues here?
What will this journey bring to him and his battle group?
The shadow of the giant tower swallowed the vehicle. Although it was so hot here, he still couldn't help but shivered-
It seemed as if grey graft was flowing in his blood vessels at this moment.
