Chapter 790 The Exiled

More importantly, due to Tubaker's disgraceful past, he has always been excluded from Qianzi's core circle.

Tubek was an ordinary warrior in the Thousand Sons' Legion. After the Legion fled to the Wizard Star, he was one of the first members to join the Aliman conspiracy group to help him cast the "Aliman's Red Letter" spell.

After the failure of the Red Letter Spell, the entire conspiracy group, including Tubek and Aliman, was fired forever in the Legion.

After leaving the legion, Tubek joined Amon's war gang, the "Dust Brotherhood". The next time he met Aliman was on a captured warship "Son of the Titans", which was thousands of years after he left the legion.

The "Dust Brotherhood" has been searching for Aliman's traces. Tubeck then seized the "Son of Titan" with the Sharp Slayer. He initially wanted Aliman to leave with him, but after Aliman refused, he cast a psionic explosion on the other side.

Aliman deflected Tubek's psychic energy and sent him to the subspace with the Screamer's flagship.

After drifting in the subspace for unknown years, Tubeck returned to the Wizard Star by some reason. At this time, it had been more than eight thousand years since he left.

Although he was not exiled again, he lost all his status and became a marginal person who was not much higher than the Red Letter.

And he has been looking for opportunities to return to the original body.

This time he came with an opportunity.

Unlike the members of the Wizard Group wearing armored robes similar to Magnus, the simple dervish clothes covered Tubek's figure. The wide hood shadow hid his face, making it impossible for everyone to know the joys and sorrows on his face. Only a narrow and pale bird beak poked out from the shadows - even under his hood there was a bird-shaped mask.

"Great Master! I need a meeting with you if I have something to do!"

Tubaker's tone was filled with undepressed excitement, and he brought a message that could change everything.

"It's me!"

He shouted loudly:

"Tubebeck!"

Magnus was staring at the world above his head and did not hear Tubek's excited shouting.

Suddenly, the Red Devil stretched out the sword in his hand and hooked the thunder in the air, cutting the scattered arc branches of lightning like cutting soft metal. Magnus's weapon shape changed a lot like his master. Now it turned into a cleverly designed gilded gold-wire-handled scimitar, which complemented the original's luxurious armor.

He danced the scimitar in his hand like a blade, breaking the current and stirring up ripples.

Tubeck could have won Magnus' attention by casting spells, but this behavior is undoubtedly a disrespect for the Lord. If he was patient enough, Magnus might have responded to his call sooner or later - but now he doesn't have that much time.

This news is urgent and cannot be delayed.

Toubeck waved the curved staff in his hand and gently pushed the wizard team member closest to him.

The wizard was wearing a luxurious robe and leaning against a snake-headed scepter in his hand. Tubeck pretended to be planning to break through him.

"Yoyo, this is not Tubeck."

Suddenly, the wizard blocked his way.

"I haven't seen this in a few years? Get out of here, Lord Red no longer has time to listen to the crazy stories you tell."

"Sarro."

Tubeck's response invaded the golden armor on the wizard's face and poked straight to his soul. No matter how superb Sara's tricks and techniques were practiced, he was still not as good as Tubeck. If you want to read his thinking, it would not be much more troublesome than reading the cuneiform text on his armor.

Saro was filled with rich paranoia, like an infected wound that burst out with pus.

"I have time, but you don't."

Tubaker sarcastically said:

"You can't go home quickly and congratulate your assistant?"

"What are you talking nonsense?"

Saro, who pretended to be contempt, could not hide his worries. It has been many centuries since Tubek was squeezed out of the wizard group, but he always monitored everyone's every move, tracked their victory and failure, and tried his best to understand their weaknesses and desires.

The wizards' desires are similar—either they can grasp the energy they extracted from the great waves, or they can conquer the world in the name of Magnus, rule the world, or combine the two.

But their weaknesses are varied and never the same.

Toubek shrugged, his blade-shaped shoulders tugging at his robe, causing a rippling ripples.

"The Wizard Lery cleverly used the time you left home. While you were on the way to meet, you had already returned to Tizka to work hard. Your assistant had long unveiled the veil covering the Azariya Library and raced against time to decipher its most famous collection, "The Psalm of Aliman". As far as I know, he has practiced the first twelve chapters to perfection, and the deciphering of the thirteenth chapter is also in full swing."

Tubek raised his hand and stretched out his withered fingers and patted Saro on the shoulder.

"You should be proud, very proud. The Wizard Larie has over the meager knowledge you gave him and solved many valuable puzzles. I guess he will be happy to share his experiences and knowledge with you, or maybe... If he involves certain areas that you cannot even understand, he can only have a chat with the Lord of Red~"

Saro shook his head and pressed forward, whispering through the partition of his helmet:

"You liar, you can't spit out a word of truth in your broken mouth. How could he discover the poem of Aliman? How could he decipher the classics that only Aliman himself can understand?"

As the wizard grabbed the robe at the collar of Toobek, the color in the hall boiled - the waves of Saro's anger surged everywhere.

The conversation between the two broke the calmness of the zither and turned the praise into a messy and dissonant voice.

"Think about it now, maybe I should consult you in advance before I help him."

Tubaker explained quickly, as if he was planning to truly regret:

"Oh, it's a sin to stump me to share my knowledge with others. After all, Wizard Lari is just a little wizard who is loyal to you. If he could reject the power of Aliman's Praise, it would be a blessing for you - the loyal Wizard Lari only hopes to give you more glory, right?"

Tubek knew the truth well, and Saro's apprentice would not give up any opportunity to trample his master under his feet—or that's the norm within Qianzi.

Using this threat to get Saro to bait is definitely more than enough.

Every court minister here dreams of using some way to unlock the curse of the Red Letter - the curse that turned Magnus' legion into unconscious dust, and that such a great gift to the Red King is worthless.

But Tubeck knew that all attempts were futile and foolishness—the red-word curse could never be lifted.

If you want to gain Magnus' favor again, you need to offer him a brand new force, a more powerful force than before.
