Chapter 317 The Blood of the Altar

Yerug, Abram, and Fabio followed Reinhard's team and took an airship to track down the little devil and find an ancient building in a deserted and desperate situation.

In order to find out the truth and find out who summoned the demon and what the conspiracy was, we surrounded the building after landing and prepared to find out.

Reinhardt's men took the lead, found the entrance to the basement and walked inside.

The three clergymen walked with Prince Reinhardt and were surrounded and protected at the rear of the team.

"The evil atmosphere here is even stronger! Everyone, please be careful." After entering the basement, Yerge warned.

Reinhard ordered his troops to be on alert.

Walk along the underground passage and quickly wind up to the altar area.

A group of little demons were found at the entrance. When they saw the intruding human team, they immediately let out threatening calls and entered a fighting posture.

"So many little devils!" Reinhardt exclaimed, and visually estimated that there were at least forty or fifty of them.

The three priests did not move. The imp was actually very weak and might be scary to civilians. Reinhardt's elite soldiers could easily deal with it.

Reinhardt's team moved forward and soon fought with the imp.

Just like chopping melons and vegetables, except for two soldiers who were accidentally injured, there were basically no casualties, and all the little devils were eliminated.

The team's morale was greatly boosted and they quickly approached the altar area.

Just as they arrived near the entrance, an old voice came from inside: "The disgusting power of light is a good sacrifice..."

"Who?!" Reinhard shouted from behind.

"I'm afraid the other party is not a human being!" Abram said seriously.

Yerug and Fabio nodded at the same time. Although they stood at the back of the team, far away from the entrance, as clergymen, they could clearly feel the disgusting aura of the undead.

"Kacha kacha~" The ground suddenly cracked open, and countless skeletons crawled out from below, quickly forming a huge undead army and coming towards them.

"Skeleton soldiers? There are undead creatures inside that can summon skeletons!" Fabio looked at Reinhardt, "Your Highness, these skeletons are left to you. Let's go in and destroy the undead!"

"Okay!" Reinhard has great trust in the three clergymen. After all, Yerug, Abram, and Fabio are powerful and can restrain evil creatures.

Yerug, Abram and Fabio rushed to the opposite side at the same time. Reinhard commanded his soldiers to fight against the skeleton soldiers, attracting the enemy's attention.

Of course, the skeleton soldiers couldn't stop the three powerful priests, let alone the assistance of Reinhardt's elite soldiers.

The three clergymen quickly arrived at the end of the passage and barged in directly.

Entering inside, you can see a huge altar and a lich standing next to it. Next to the lich is a succubus.

Facing three powerful clergymen, the Lich raised his staff and summoned a large number of skeleton soldiers to stand in front of them.

"So it's a lich?" Abram didn't take the skeleton soldiers seriously. He took a step forward and asked loudly, "Did you summon the little devil from the abyss? There is actually a succubus. What's your intention?"

"Why talk nonsense?" Fabio raised his staff directly, "Since it is a lich, just destroy it!"

"Okay!" Abram also raised his staff, chanted the incantation at the same time as Fabio, and used the Holy Light spell on the lich.

Yerug was not idle either, using exorcism attacks to attack the skeleton soldiers blocking the front.

The Lich took a step back, and the summoned skeleton soldiers blocked the front to form a wall. The Holy Light spell instantly destroyed a large number of skeletons, but the continuously summoned skeletons filled the gaps.

Yerug's exorcism attack can eliminate a large number of skeleton soldiers at the same time, but there are too many skeletons, and the thousand people who were sacrificed just now have been transformed.

The Lich used the skeletons as a shield to protect itself, showing no concern for their consumption, and created bone spurs to project at the three clergymen.

Yerug used the Holy Shield to block the bone spurs and used the exorcism attack again.

The two sides went back and forth, attacking each other with magic. Although the Lich was powerful, its attributes were restrained by the power of light. In addition, with one against three, the skeleton soldiers were consumed too quickly and could not resist it soon.

The succubus next to her wanted to help, but the lich said to her: "You have nothing to do here, go outside and deal with Reinhardt!"

After receiving the order, the succubus decisively bypassed the Yerug trio and moved outside.

The three clergymen did not take the succubus seriously. In their opinion, as long as the lich was killed, the problem would be solved.

The succubus itself is not very powerful in combat. It mainly relies on charm magic and cannot play much role in front of Reinhardt's team.

"Facing three of us at the same time and letting your subordinates leave, you think too highly of yourself!" Fabio took a step forward and used Holy Light on the Lich.

The Lich quickly dodged and threw the bone spur with his backhand, but Fabio also dodged it.

Abram and Yerug took detours to the left and right respectively, surrounding the lich from different directions.

The Lich retreated and led them into the altar. When the three of them came to the center, they showed an evil smile.

Yerug sensed something was wrong, subconsciously grabbed the nearest Abram, and quickly backed away.

Fabio went straight towards the lich, hoping to eliminate him in one fell swoop. Just as he was approaching, the altar suddenly activated, and a black shadow appeared out of thin air, blocking Fabio's path. Before he could react, the shadow changed.

In human form, he raised his right hand and just penetrated Fabio's heart.

Fabio's eyes widened and he looked at the man who appeared in front of him in disbelief. His body was hanging in the air, and he felt like an organ in his body had been removed by his hands.

Abram and Yerug, who quickly exited the altar behind, saw clearly that a young man with horns on his head appeared out of thin air and easily penetrated Fabio's chest with his hand. He held a beating heart in his hand.

Belongs to Fabio.

The two people suddenly reacted, with horror in their eyes.

His heart was directly crushed by him, Fabio's eyes instantly dimmed, he lost the breath of life, and all the blood in his body was quickly absorbed by the opponent.

"It's so delicious!" The young man dropped Fabio's body, still not satisfied, and turned to Yerug and Abram, "You guys are more tempting than the ants before..."

"How is it possible!" Abram faced the young man who suddenly appeared, with a look of horror in his eyes, "Devil... Demon King? How could it be...?"

Yerug was also frightened by the appearance of the Demon King and was a little unable to react.

"This is called a qualified sacrifice!" The Demon King was quite satisfied and said to the Lich, "Well done."

Then it turned into black mist and teleported in front of Yerge, looking at it carefully.

Yerge subconsciously used an exorcism attack. Halfway through the incantation, the condensed sacred power was easily cut off by the devil.

"You are the strongest." The devil's hand penetrated Yerug's chest easily, just like it did with Fabio. "The blood must be more delicious and can restore more strength to me!"

The beating heart was crushed by him, and the dignified Bishop of the Holy Light Church of Nangris was turned into a corpse.
