Chapter 191 Call him uncle?

In the late summer of August, the weather was changeable, and lightning tore through the sky, knocking down the flash of light and reflecting it into the room through the gap in the curtains that were not tightened, forming a strange white light.

Boom——

Thunder followed one after another, accompanied by the sound of pouring rain.

Su Yuxi woke up. The quality of her sleep was extremely poor. She couldn't sleep at the slightest movement. She raised her hand and pinched the center of her eyebrows. She fumbled in the darkness to turn on the desk lamp. She went down barefoot to close the window and tighten the curtains.

Shi Xi also woke up. He was afraid of thunder, and his body was shaking uncontrollably. He was covered in cold sweat, and his breathing gradually became heavier, almost out of breath.

The things that flashed through his mind were chaotic. Cries, laughter, and moans all flooded into his memories.

"Ugh!" He held his head and groaned in pain.

When Su Yuxi heard the sound, she remembered that someone was sleeping on the upper bunk. She saw through the bed rail that he was covering his head with a quilt and seemed to be shaking.

"Shi Xi, what's wrong with you?"

She frowned slightly, stood under the bed, climbed up the escalator, lifted the corners of his quilt, and asked.

When Shi Xi saw her, it was as if he had grasped a life-saving straw. He suddenly grabbed her hand and pressed it on his eyes.

She could feel his whole body trembling, his hand holding her hand was cold, and the eyelashes under his palm were trembling, and they were stained with moisture.

Itchy and wet.

The eyes that fell on him were a little deeper, and he pursed his lips.

He is only eight years old, what has he experienced?

Su Yuxi held the ladder with one hand and was pulled by him with the other hand. She didn't know how long she stood there, and her feet were numb.

She wanted to take her hand out, but then she glanced at the two small hands holding her hand. After thinking about it, she got into his bed and lay next to him, leaning against the bedrail.

The next second, he hugged her waist and buried his head in her neck.

She was stunned for a moment, her free hand had nowhere to put it, and finally rested it on the railing beside the bed.

"Shi Xi, have you hugged me enough?" Su Yuxi said aloud as her back felt numb as she pressed against the railing.

Hearing this, his arm holding her loosened a little, and he slowly withdrew from her arms. He lowered his eyes and apologized in a sweet voice: "I'm sorry."

"Afraid of thunder?" she asked casually.

Shi Xi's hands wrung together uneasily, and she let out a low hum.

Su Yuxi didn't say anything else, and got off his bed. A small piece of her pajamas at the collar was wet. It was cold and uncomfortable against her neck. She went to the closet to find a new one and put it on.

"Just listen for a while if you're afraid." She threw her Walkman on the upper bunk.

Shi Xi blinked and stared at the thing Su Yuxi just threw up. He had never seen it before and didn't know how to use it. He carefully placed it under the pillow.

The thunder stopped, but the rain outside the window continued, but the two children in the bedroom couldn't fall asleep, even though they were lying quietly on the bed.

Early the next morning.

"Good morning, grandpa." Su Yuxi went downstairs and said good morning to Su Hongwei.

"Good morning."

"Chairman Su, the document you want." The secretary brought a file over.

Su Hongwei took it, wound it a few times, took the document out of the file bag, glanced at it briefly, and handed it to Su Yuxi.

"Grandpa will help you with Xixi's matter."

She turned to the last page:

Su Hongwei and Shi Xi formulated a father-son relationship on August 25, 2022, and their relationship is protected by law.

After Su Yuxi read this line of writing, he suddenly felt a little dazed.

He and Su Hongwei became father and son.

When it comes to seniority, she seems to still call him uncle?
