Chapter 21 The Strange Man

A mission reminder suddenly sounded in his mind, waking up Su Yuxi from a light sleep.

His long eyelashes trembled slightly, and he slowly opened his eyes. Suddenly, a magnified handsome face appeared in his sight. His dull eyes instantly returned to clarity. He sat up from the sofa as if he was standing upright, and his head suddenly started to rise.

It hit Shi Huaijin's forehead with a thud.

"Hmm~" Su Yuxi covered her head and snorted, mixed with a thick nasal sound, which sounded like a kitten's cry.

A rare flash of daze flashed through Shi Huaijin's calm black eyes, which dissipated in the blink of an eye. He returned to his usual cold and dignified appearance and sat upright.

"Why are you so close to me?" Su Yuxi asked with a slight frown. Her tone, which she had just woken up from, was not intimidating at all and was soft.

"I want you to eat." He raised his chin in the direction of the coffee table and said.

Su Yuxi followed his gaze and looked at the food on the table. Her frown suddenly relaxed. She skillfully took the pillow and threw it on the carpet, then slid directly to the floor.

She reached out to pick up the chopsticks, but Shi Huaijin grabbed her by the collar, and a deep and clear voice sounded from above her head: "Go and wash your hands."

Su Yuxi turned her head and glanced at him, then spread her hands and looked at the palms and backs of her hands, "My hands are very clean." She stretched out her hands to show to Shi Huaijin, and blinked, looking innocent.

Extremely.

Shi Huaijin pursed her lips and said nothing, staring at her with dark eyes. She pushed away Shi Huaijin's hand, stood up and went to wash her hands. When she came back, she waved her hand in the direction where Shi Huaijin was sitting.

Undried water on top.

Shi Huaijin just glanced at her and ignored her childish behavior.

After eating, Su Yuxi felt bored and didn't want to stay here in the afternoon.

"Shi Huaijin, please ask someone to take me back." Su Yuxi looked at the man sitting at the desk working and said.

The man did not raise his head, but just said: "Go somewhere with me later."

"Where are you going?" Su Yuxi became interested, and her voice was inadvertently filled with excitement.

The pen tip of Shi Huaijin's signature suddenly paused, his eyes were deep, and his thin lips uttered two words: "Wait."

Half an hour later, Su Yuxi followed Shi Huaijin downstairs to the underground parking lot.

She subconsciously went to open the back seat door, but did not open it. She cast doubtful eyes on Shi Huaijin.

"Sit in front."

"Oh." She made a half circle, opened the passenger door, and got in.

Shi Huaijin was sitting in the driver's seat, her bony hands resting on the steering wheel casually. Su Yuxi raised her eyebrows slightly, surprised that such a noble man could drive by himself.

After driving for an unknown amount of time, the car stopped at an extremely retro downtown street.

Big slabs, arch bridges, and retro buildings are relatively common sights in ancient towns in the south.

After getting out of the car, Su Yuxi was instantly attracted by the various stalls on the street, as if she had never seen anything before. She wanted to stop at each stall for a while.

"Boss, how do you sell this?"

Su Yuxi stood at an antique stall and spotted an amethyst at a glance. It was a deep purple with a black halo. Compared with the several brightly colored crystals next to it, it actually looked much inferior, even

And a little ugly.

The stall owner inadvertently saw the man walking over, and the fake smile he wore while hawking suddenly froze on his face, and a trace of panic and fear flashed in his eyes, as well as some other meanings, which he immediately hid.

Shi Huaijin reached out and took Su Yuxi's wrist and pulled her away from the stall. When he took one step, she staggered two steps.

"Hey! Shi Huaijin! Why are you dragging me along?" Su Yuxi grabbed the man's hand and held her wrist.

Shi Huaijin said in a deep voice: "There are more fun things ahead."

Hearing that there was something more fun, Su Yuxi hesitated for a few seconds, then took two quick steps to catch up with Shi Huaijin.

The two of them arrived in front of a large ancient house. As soon as they stepped onto the bluestone steps, the door opened with a creak.

When you walk in, you will see a high-ceilinged foyer and round stone arch windows. In the middle of the courtyard is a medium-sized pond with several clusters of lotus leaves. The main building is built with bluestones of the same color, with uneven stone strips.

The lines are rough, dignified and full of historical flavor.

Crossing the threshold made of pear wood, Su Yuxi lost interest, tilted her head and opened her mouth to say something.

Squeak——

The door is closed.

Su Yuxi swayed and fell down.

Wen Mushang walked out from behind the wall and caught Su Yuxi who had fainted.

"Second Master."

Shi Huaijin glanced at the woman lying in Wen Mushang's arms and walked towards the yard.

...

In the evening, Su Yuxi was awakened by the servant's knock on the door.

I slowly opened my eyes, dazed for a while, sat up from the bed, suddenly felt dizzy, couldn't help but frown, raised my hand to hit my head, got out of bed and opened the door.

"Madam, the second master is waiting for you to eat downstairs." The servant said respectfully.

Su Yuxi didn't pay attention to what the servant called her, and said in a low mood: "I won't eat."

After saying that, she closed the door. She didn't know what happened to her. She felt sick now.

Moreover, didn't she go to the downtown street with Shi Huaijin?

【Xiaoqi, how did I come back?】

【The hero brought you back.】

[What’s wrong with me?] Su Yuxi was confused.

Click——

With the sound of the door opening, Shi Huaijin's tall figure appeared at the door.

Su Yuxi turned her head and looked into his dark eyes, "Shi Huaijin, didn't I go out with you? Why did I wake up in the bedroom?" She felt that something had happened in her heart, and she was particularly uneasy.

Shi Huaijin had no expression on his face and said unhurriedly: "You have heatstroke."

Heat stroke? She?

Why didn't she feel it?

"Second Master."

The servant stood beside Shi Huaijin holding a tray and shouted respectfully.

Shi Huaijin raised her hand to pick up the porridge bowl on the tray, walked a few steps into the bedroom, closed the door and walked to her side.

"Drink it yourself, or feed it to me."

Su Yuxi glanced at the porridge in his hand, "I don't want to drink it."

The man put the bowl on the table, took out his cell phone from his pocket and made a call: "Come here and give her an injection."

After a while, a doctor wearing a disinfectant suit and sterile gloves came over, pushing a needle stand with two bottles of glucose hung on it.

"Second Master."

At this time, Huai Jin's serious eyes fell on Su Yuxi.

Su Yuxi narrowed her eyes and glanced at Shi Huaijin strangely. Is this man sick again?

"Madam, please reach out." The doctor was very discerning and walked to Su Yuxi's side and said to her politely.

Su Yuxi frowned, subconsciously put her hands behind her back, walked to Shi Huaijin, picked up the porridge on the table, drank it in one breath, put the bowl down heavily, and glanced at Shi Huaijin with her cheeks puffed out.

.

"Get out." Shi Huaijin said.

"Yes." The doctor went out.

Su Yuxi stared at Shi Huaijin's back as he went to the bathroom, and a bad premonition suddenly arose in his heart.

Why does this man care so much about himself now?

So weird!
