150 Gravekeeper and Book Monster

In a cemetery on the outskirts of Jincheng.

Everything was silent, the wind blew away a cloud, and the sunlight slanted on the tombstone, and the words "My late father Shitingsong" were clearly engraved on the tombstone.

Standing in front of the tombstone was Shi Wangyue, dressed in black.

On a hot summer day, the cemetery looks deserted at first glance, with only countless cicadas on the grass and branches shouting "cicada, cicada".

Shi Wangyue was sweating profusely and was cleaning the weeds around the tombstone with his bare hands. After cleaning the weeds, he piled them into a pile and threw them into the trash can below.

After carefully cleaning up the weeds around the tomb, he took the handkerchief he brought and poured pure water on it, and patiently wiped the tombstone.

After wiping the tombstone, I laid out the flowers, fruits, incense, paper money, etc. I brought over one by one.

When the paper money and incense were burned, white smoke rose in the blue sky.

This attracted the tombkeeper who was patrolling in the distance to come and check.

When they entered, the tombkeeper stood on the road below the cemetery with a shovel and shouted: "Little girl, are you coming to see your uncle now?"

He is an old man with a somewhat rough voice.

When he spoke, he still had a cigarette in his mouth, and his enunciation was a little unclear.

Shi Wangyue paused her hand and stood up, "Little girl?"

He also held a handful of freshly lit incense in his hand.

He stood up, and only then did the tomb guard see clearly that he was a very beautiful young man, not a girl.

"Hey, I'm sorry, young man, I saw it wrong, I saw it wrong." He then added: "It's dry and dry, so be careful with the candle. Young man, pay attention to the fire when you pay homage to your ancestors."

After giving the necessary instructions, the tombkeeper prepared to leave with the shovel in his shoulder.

Shi Wangyue quickly put the incense in her hand, then took a few steps down to the cemetery and stood in front of him.

"Hello, old man, may I ask your name?" He took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and handed it over.

The tombkeeper looked at the young man's gentle and jade-like face, and then looked at the He Tianxia in the young man's hand. On his dark face, he smiled and showed a pair of slightly chipped teeth, "If your surname is He, everyone calls me Lao He."

, I am watching this land."

"He Lao, lend me a light." Shi Wangyue took out a cigarette.

The gravekeeper, Lao He, took the cigarette butt from his mouth.

Shi Wangyue went over to take a few puffs and lit the cigarette. "You can take this cigarette and smoke it. I need to waste your time and ask you something."

The tombkeeper then graciously accepted the cigarette from him and stuffed it into his pocket.

"Young man, if you want anything, you can ask."

Shi Wangyue took a puff of cigarette with deep eyebrows and asked: "Old man, have you ever seen someone come to visit my father before?"

He pointed to the tomb where he had just paid homage.

The tombkeeper squinted at the tombstone on the hillside and said, "Yes, every year during the Qingming Festival, a female doll comes and brings a lot of flowers, paper money, and incense. After paying homage, she will sit and recite sutras for a while. Normally,

Days will come occasionally.”

Shi Wangyue's heart trembled, "Isn't she a very beautiful girl?"

Lao He smoked and looked up at the locust tree above his head. There was an indescribable expression on his face. It was admiration or surprise. "A very good-looking girl comes alone every time."

"Every time?" Wangyue's hand holding the cigarette trembled.

"Once or twice a year, probably seven or eight years, eighty-nine years, I can't remember exactly." The breeze blew through the treetops, and the tombkeeper's voice was hoarse.

Shi Wangyue's heart seemed to be blooming with flowers, ready to jump out.

Jincheng, Xie Family Villa.

"Paper monster, where are you?" Xie Yizun stood under the spiral staircase on the first floor and shouted to the people upstairs.

"Stop shouting, your sister will come down when she's done with her work." Just after lunch, Xia Youqing was walking back and forth in the living room to eat.

"Ink vampire, where are you?" Xie Yizun continued to shout without looking at his mother.

Xia You glanced at him innocently, "What are all these messy names?"

Xie Yizun turned to look at her: "She loves reading so much, so I called her that."

Xia Youqing was speechless, "Stop yelling and screaming, your sister needs to rest."

Xie Yizun paused and asked, "Is sister going to bed?"

Xia Youqing turned around: "She wakes up so early in the morning, so she must go to bed at noon. How can she not take a rest in such a hot noon? Do you think everyone is like you, jumping up and down like a monkey."

Xie Yizun walked back to the living room as if frustrated.

He lazily sat down on the sofa, picked up the remote control and randomly changed channels, "Sister hasn't been here for so long, and she doesn't want to play games with me for a while."

Xia Youqing said: "Didn't she accompany you this morning?"

Xie Yizun pouted, "I only played for less than half an hour."

"Your sister has never played games, so she can force herself to play with you for half an hour." Xia Youqing sat down next to her son.

"My daughter usually works hard at work. After a long vacation, she needs to rest more. Be good and let her have a good sleep." Grandma Xie brought out a plate of melons from the kitchen with a smile. "This is the morning my daughter and I were in the vegetable garden.

Pick it and try it, it’s delicious.”

"Thank you grandma."

Xie Yizun reached out and took out two slices of cut cantaloupe, gave one to his mother, and took a big bite of the other.

Ning Youguang washed the melons after picking them in the morning and put them in the refrigerator. They are just right to eat now.

As soon as Xie Yizun bit into his mouth, he reached out and gave his grandma a big thumbs up, "Grandma, you are so amazing, you can grow such a delicious cantaloupe."

Grandma Xie felt so comfortable after being blown away by her little grandson's rainbow fart, "There is still more in the refrigerator. I can eat it when my daughter wakes up."

Xie Yizun nodded immediately, "I'll get it for my sister later."

At noon in the height of summer, the sun scorches the earth like a blazing fire.

Ning Youguang was lying on the beige tatami, turning on the air conditioner, and reading a book with relish.

Because she had just eaten, she was not ready to sleep yet.

Xia Youqing hired a designer to renovate her home two years ago, so the decoration style of Xie's villa is now very different from before.

Ning Youguang's room is no longer a pink and tender princess room.

She could finally stay in this room.

She heard all the various nicknames Xie Yizun called her downstairs clearly, but she had no intention of responding.

The quiet and cool space made her just want to read a book quietly and not want to deal with the energetic naughty children.

She likes everything about books.

She also has many special little "book monsters" who help her search for books from all over the world.

The current book is an out-of-print book that one of the little book monsters, Shi Wangyue, helped her find from a used bookstore in the United States.

She just started watching it in the past two days and is obsessed with it.

Because I was thinking about quickly reading the book in my hand, I was a little absent-minded when I played with Xie Yizun in the morning.

Thank you Yizun for that little bastard who is a ghost and a ghost.

If she skipped a beat, he would notice it immediately.

He asked: "Sister, why don't you play games seriously?"

She said: "I want to read a book."

Therefore, an angry Xie Yizun gave her a bunch of random nicknames.

The two sentences he just yelled downstairs were two of a bunch of nicknames he had compiled this morning.

After all, he was disturbed by the roar of the naughty child. Ning Youguang noticed his thoughts and smiled slightly.

In the quiet room, she smiled, and even the sunlight outside the window seemed to become much gentler.
