329 Staying awake all night

After Li Manjun's company moved to a new location, Zhao Yong has not been here yet.

But this time, as soon as Li Manjun returned to the company, he saw a familiar figure standing under the pavilion at the gate from a distance.

The snow will melt after the new year and spring will come, but the climate in Rongcheng will not warm up until March.

The sorting field is upwind, which is comfortable in summer, but in this season, the wind is still quite cold.

Li Manjun jumped out of the car in surprise, "Why are you here? Are you cold? Why are you standing here?"

Zhao Yong naturally opened his arms and caught her.

Li Manjun has stayed up late in the past two years and has become plumper than when she first got married. But at this weight, Zhao Yong can still carry her even if she gains weight.

Wang Dasheng was sitting in the back of the empty truck. When he saw this scene, he silently waved his hand and asked the truck driver to drive in first.

I just have to go to the incineration plant today so the truck can be used again.

Zhao Yong put Li Manjun down and looked her up and down. His expression was not as happy as Li Manjun imagined, but with a frown and a cold face.

"What are you looking at?" Li Manjun pulled him back with a guilty conscience, holding hands and going to the factory.

It didn't move.

She pulled again, and Zhao Yong moved away.

As soon as Li Manjun saw this reaction, he knew that the situation was not good, and he might not have concealed the things he wanted to hide.

The two came to the downstairs of the office building, and Steve and Li Wei happened to come out. They exchanged a look, and Li Manjun understood.

This Steve must have spilled the beans.

Zhao Yong is not Ma Daha, on the contrary, he looks rough, but in fact he is as careful as a hair.

The couple came to Li Manjun's office. Li Manjun immediately closed the door tightly and preemptively said to Zhao Yong:

"This time in Dongshi was quite thrilling, but generally speaking, there was no danger. I was pretty lucky. I found two old unlucky guys and took over the batch of old clothes."

"However, it is difficult to find channels for exporting second-hand clothes, so I plan to give up and complete the sorting field and demolition and renovation projects first. I have been very busy in the past two years, and now I can relax a bit."

Li Manjun said a lot, but Zhao Yong didn't respond.

Li Manjun looked over curiously. Zhao Yong walked around her office, then sat down on her boss chair, put his hands on the armrests, and watched her explanation in silence.

We are an old married couple, and each other's farts will tell whether they smell good or bad. Li Manjun's heart immediately thumped, it's over, she's really angry!

"Am I angry?"

Zhao Yong then snorted coldly, "Asking even though you know it."

Li Manjun looked up at the ceiling, feeling a little thirsty, so he went out to get some water and take a breather.

When she came to the office next door, Li Wei saw the manager and asked doubtfully: "Mr. Li, you suddenly asked me to transfer money. What happened?"

Li Manjun waved her hand. She didn't want to talk about the details of the matter, and signaled to Li Wei not to ask.

"By the way, when did my husband come to the company?" Li Manjun asked doubtfully while opening the thermos bottle and pouring two cups of hot water.

Li Wei replied: "I knew you were coming back. I arrived early in the morning and sat there all morning. I asked him to go to the cafeteria when dinner opened at noon, but he didn't go. Maybe he hasn't eaten yet."

"You haven't had lunch yet?" Li Manjun thought, why is he so bad-tempered? He handed the poured hot water to the new intern, "Send the hot water to my office. I'll go to the cafeteria to see if there are any dishes left."

It happened that she hadn't eaten either, so she borrowed a lunch box from Li Wei. Li Manjun took his own and walked towards the cafeteria.

It was already past two o'clock in the afternoon, and the three ladies in charge of the canteen had already wiped the tables and chairs in the canteen clean.

Li Manjun asked if there were any leftovers, and the aunt said there were, but if she came later, the leftovers would be poured into the swill bucket.

Li Manjun went to the kitchen by herself, packed up the leftovers, heated them in hot water through the lunch box, and brought them back to the office.

Zhao Yong was still sitting in his original position, with an extra cup of hot water in front of him. Li Manjun took a look at it and drank it. His anger should have subsided a little?

She didn't know, but if she just coaxed her, it would be okay.

"Eat, try the skills of our cafeteria chef, it should be no worse than your company." Li Manjun opened the lunch box with a smile, handed it to him, opened his own, picked up the kuaizi and had a meal.

Seeing how pitiful she was, Zhao Yong felt soft-hearted. He picked up the lunch box and started eating, saying dryly: "It's not bad."

After eating, Zhao Yong took the initiative to pack the lunch box and asked Li Manjun if he had any dishwashing tools, so he went to wash the dishes.

Li Manjun pointed to the window sill and asked in surprise: "Aren't you going back to the company today?"

"I'll be back later." Zhao Yong took the dishcloth and went out to wash the dishes.

When an employee came to see him, Li Manjun told him to help himself and hurried out again.

She was so busy that she had no time to spare. When she finished her work in the evening and Li Manjun returned to the office, Zhao Yong had already left.

"You must have calmed down, right?" Li Manjun murmured in a low voice, her heart pounding, not sure.

Grab your bag and car keys and drive home.

When she got home, Nian Nian, who had not seen her mother for a few days, warmly welcomed her home and turned into a little follower. She would go wherever her mother went.

Aunt Guo said: "Mr. Li, Mr. Zhao said that he would not come back for dinner at night because he had something to do."

"Oh." Li Manjun took it for granted and didn't think much about it.

As a result, Zhao Yong had this meal until the next morning, and he didn't come back all night!

Li Manjun woke up from bed in the morning and reached out to touch the side, only to feel a soft ball.

"Hee hee hee" Nian Nian couldn't help but laugh out loud because of the itch, and happily rolled into her mother's arms. She slept with her mother yesterday, and she was very happy.

"Where's dad?" Li Manjun asked doubtfully.

Nian Nian was stunned for a moment and spread his hands, "I don't know."

"Zhao Yong!" Li Manjun shouted outside, thinking that people had already gotten up first.

Aunt Guo responded: "Mr. Li, it seems that Mr. Zhao didn't come back last night."

Li Manjun frowned, "What are you doing? I didn't even get a call back."

Nian Nian was keenly aware of her mother's emotional changes, so she withdrew from her arms, knelt down beside the pillow and looked at her mother.

Li Manjun suppressed the worries in her heart, got up and dressed her daughter. The mother and daughter packed up and handed Nian Nian to Aunt Guo to take with her for breakfast. She took a piece of fried dough sticks and went to the balcony to call Zhao Yong.

I thought it would take a long time for the call to come through, but the person on the other end picked up the call right away, as if he was waiting for her call on purpose.

"Where are you?" Li Manjun asked confused, "Why didn't you come back yesterday and why didn't you call me?"

Zhao Yong's hoarse voice came over the phone, "I drank too much yesterday. Mr. Lin and Lao Liang opened a room for me, so I fell asleep in the hotel."

Li Manjun didn't doubt that he had done anything to apologize to her, but she felt a little uncomfortable because this was the first time this kind of thing had happened.

After several years of marriage, except for business trips, Zhao Yong has never stayed out at night.

Moreover, he didn't explain it to her more, so wasn't he worried that she would have random thoughts?
