444 Your sister is still your sister

Li Manjun didn't sleep much all night.

She didn't realize how deep the relationship between the three siblings was until today, when she saw her younger brother suddenly appear at the door of her house, the sour emotions between relatives suddenly emerged.

All night long, Li Manjun was thinking about what happened in these years.

She seemed to have almost forgotten about the time travel, and sometimes she couldn't tell whether the so-called past life really happened or was just a dream of hers.

Or, it could be another self in parallel time and space who happens to share memories at a certain moment.

After seven years, she has integrated into this world and feels like a person of this era.

Parents, sister, brother, sleeping pillow and lively daughter, thinking of each of them, Li Manjun felt extremely peaceful in her heart.

Chaotic thoughts flashed through my mind and were sorted into order. The sky turned white before I fell asleep.

When the alarm clock rang in the morning, I woke up. Surprisingly, I didn't feel sleepy, but instead felt inexplicably excited.

Li Manjun thought to himself that the parents in the town should be doing the same thing that night.

When their son, who had been away from home for three years, came back, they would definitely get up early, go to the farmer's market to buy his favorite vegetables, and prepare a sumptuous table of dishes waiting for him.

Li Manjun woke up Zhao Yong and his daughter who were still sleeping, briefly washed and tidied up, and sent Li Jianjun home.

We set off early and arrived at Heather Town at half past eight. We happened to meet Wang Xiaojuan and Li Dawei who had just returned from buying vegetables at the vegetable market.

The family met at the door of their home. Wang Xiaojuan and Li Dawei approached so excitedly that they forgot to take the keys to open the door.

It was Li Manjun who reminded Wang Xiaojuan that she quickly opened the door, put down the dishes in her hands, and took Li Jianjun to look at her.

"Taller, stronger, darker..." Wang Xiaojuan kept repeating these three words.

Li Dawei's focus was not on his son's appearance, but on his life in the army and the reality of his retirement allowance.

After all, when I come back this time, it’s time to work.

It's hard to find a job, especially in Li Jianjun's situation. Without the policy of guaranteed distribution, it's really hard to find a suitable job.

If the requirements are high, you can't meet them. If the conditions are too poor, it's a pity that you have spent three years training in the army.

Wang Xiaojuan glared at her husband angrily, "You just said this when you got home. You need to let people take a breather and rest."

"Why are you so anxious? You are only 21 years old, and you are still worried about not being able to find a good job?" Wang Xiaojuan did not allow Li Dawei to put pressure on his children by talking about these things anymore, and asked Zhao Yong to take care of his father-in-law.

How dare Zhao Yong, laughing and joking, only said that since he and Li Manjun were here, there was no need to worry about the work of building an army.

If it really doesn't work, I can go to Junda to deliver express. I can always have something to eat.

Wang Xiaojuan was satisfied and glared at Li Dawei again, "Xiaoyong is still capable. You only know how to read with your mouth."

No more talking, let Li Jianjun go back to his room to rest, roll up his sleeves, put on an apron, and carry the groceries he just bought into the kitchen to cook.

I am a follower every year, watching each new one. I used to follow my aunt, but now I follow my uncle. We go to Li Jianjun’s house curiously to look here and there, and keep asking a hundred thousand whys with our little mouths.

In the past, when Nian Nian couldn't speak and couldn't walk unsteadily, Li Jianjun would hug her and carry her on his back, using her as a toy.

Now that the little girl has grown up, she is curious, talkative, and runs very fast, which makes Li Jianjun even more interesting. He especially enjoys his niece clinging to him. In order to make her cling to him more every year, he has given many benefits.

For example, yesterday I gave her a toy made of bullets, and this morning I gave her a big horse ride. Now when they arrived in the room, the two of them went directly to the bed to play with the treasures he had saved when he was a child.

If any of his family members touch these things, Li Jianjun will explode them. When Li Lijun scares her brother, she always uses these treasures as a threat, which shows how important these treasures are to him.

But now, I just took it out and let Niannian make it casually. He threw it on the ground and still smiled stupidly, reluctant to say a word to her.

Li Manjun stood at the door of the room and watched secretly for a while, and saw that her daughter was asking her uncle

My uncle's treasures were scattered all over the bed. My hands were itchy and I wanted to beat the naughty child.

However, the atmosphere between the two of them in the room was so good that she couldn't bear to ruin it. She sighed softly in her heart and let them go.

In this family now, she is the only one who is stricter, otherwise I really don’t know how she would be spoiled by her family members every year.

Wang Xiaojuan quickly cooked a few home-cooked dishes and shouted loudly: "Manjun, come here and serve the rice, it's ready to be served!"

"Here we come." Li Manjun agreed, quickly came to the kitchen, and put the rice on the table.

Zhao Yong and Li Dawei also came to help serve the dishes. Li Jianjun secretly picked up a handful of vegetables for Niannian and gave them to her to taste first.

Nian Nian Meng nods, delicious!

"Let her sit and eat by herself." Li Manjun handed a chair over and motioned to Li Jianjun to put Nian Nian on it.

Li Jianjun said tentatively: "It's okay. I'm not tired. I'll just hold it and eat."

Every year, I can sit in my uncle's arms with peace of mind, waiting to be fed.

Li Manjun's eyes changed and he lowered his voice: "Zhao Jianing."

The little girl suddenly became excited, slid down from her uncle's lap, climbed onto the chair and sat down obediently.

Li Manjun put the steamed eggs specially stewed by Wang Xiaojuan in front of her and handed her a spoon. The little girl picked up the spoon and ate it by herself without saying a word.

While eating, I looked at my mother. When I saw that my mother was picking up the vegetables and not looking at me, I immediately let out a sigh of relief.

Li Jianjun hadn't been at home for several years, and he didn't know the situation at his sister's house. He thought Li Manjun had always been so strict and was trying to gain a little freedom for his niece.

Just now, Li Manjun felt that she had strong family ties and full of emotions, but she suddenly became depressed and returned to reality in a second.

"Li Jianjun, you eat your own food and let her finish it by herself. No one is allowed to feed her."

The bloodline suppression from his sister made Li Jianjun instantly understand his family status.

On the first day he came home, his sister treated him like a treasure and was gentle and considerate.

The next day after returning home, your sister will still be your sister!

Finally, Nian Nian obediently finished the steamed eggs and a large bowl of rice. With a round belly, she leaned back on the chair with a satisfied smile.

When she smiled, the family members who had just been silently eating after being warned by Li Manjun couldn't help laughing.

Even Li Manjun herself couldn't keep a straight face. She couldn't help laughing at her daughter's cute behavior, "Silly girl~"

"Silly girl!" I repeated my mother's words every year and laughed to myself.

Li Jianjun finished digging the rice in his bowl and put the bowl away, "Sister, I'll take Nian Nian out to play."

Li Manjun nodded and told them to pay attention to safety and not to stay for too long.

The sun is strong and very hot at noon, and children's skin is fragile and cannot withstand the sun.

Wang Xiaojuan hurriedly got up and prepared a small straw hat for her granddaughter to wear. "We can't get tanned every year."

Only then did they let the two of them go out.
