Chapter 24 Storage Ring

Unexpectedly, the abstaining monk just tore off a piece of roast rabbit and said, "One bite is enough, not too much."

Dolin's opinion of this young monk who ate meat and drank wine suddenly became much higher.

Then the two began to chat, and there was no distinction between you and me about the barbecue and wine. Whoever wanted to eat could eat, and whoever wanted to drink could drink.

During the chat, Daolin and the alcoholic monk introduced themselves to each other. Daolin knew that the alcoholic monk was also heading to the imperial capital.

When he heard about the life experience of the alcoholic monk, Dolin silently toasted him with a sip of wine.

A monk who quit drinking was abandoned by his parents at the door of a small temple since he was a child. There was only one old monk in the temple. The old monk saw that the monk was pitiful and took him in. From then on, the master and the disciple began to depend on each other.

According to the self-report of the abstaining monk, he has been fond of drinking since he was a child, but no one taught him about drinking. He even likes to eat meat and enjoys almost all meat, which makes the old monk very melancholy.

"My master said that I am the reincarnation of a great master of Buddhism. I am no longer bound by the Eight Precepts. As long as I practice wholeheartedly, I will definitely achieve fruition one day." The alcohol-free monk said in a daze.

"Stop bragging. If you were the reincarnation of the Dharma Master, I would still be a traveler from another world." Daolin finally revealed his identity through drinking. He thought it was nonsense after drinking. Who could believe it?

The abstaining monk believes it!

"When the young monk first met the benefactor, he felt that the benefactor was different. Now according to what the benefactor said, you are more powerful than me!" the alcoholic monk said with a belch.

Dolin suddenly woke up when he heard this. What a boy, he actually believed what he said.

"Actually, I was joking just now, don't believe it!" Daolin patted the alcoholic monk on the shoulder and said.

"Donors don't need to explain. Buddha once said: Explanation is a cover-up, and cover-up is the truth."

Dolin began to think about whether he could defeat this skinny monk or whether he should kill him and silence him.

The alcoholic monk smiled meaningfully and said: "Meeting is fate. It is fate that we can meet here today. I am convinced that we will become good friends."

Dolin's fist hidden by his side clenched and unclenched, hesitating over and over again, until the abstaining monk handed the wine gourd over to him again, and he smiled, took the gourd, and drank heavily.

After the two roast rabbits were finished, the wine gourd was completely empty.

"After you've eaten and drank enough, go to bed!" Daolin drowsily pulled the abstaining monk and said.

The abstaining monk put his hands together and said, "Amitabha, the young monk will not get on the carriage. You can just meditate here."

Dolin didn't force himself, opened the door of the carriage and got in. He was practicing while sleeping and dreaming.

There was no conversation all night, and early the next morning, Dolin got out of the carriage, stretched out happily, and saw the alcoholic monk sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed next to the extinguished fire.

"Quit drinking?" Dolin walked over and pushed the abstaining monk.

The abstaining monk fell directly to the ground, which startled Dolin. He thought the abstaining monk was dead and hurriedly went over to check his breathing.

"Donor Daolin, you're awake." The alcoholic monk grabbed Daolin's extended hand and opened his eyes and said.

The moment Daolin's hand was grabbed, he felt a strong force clamping down on his arm. This force was too much for him, a first-level warrior.

"Let me go first!" Dolin pulled out his arm with force and looked around. He saw three red marks on his wrist, which were caused by quitting drinking.

"Did I accidentally hurt you?" the alcoholic monk got up and asked with concern.

Dolin put his pinched red arm behind his back and shook his head, but he was extremely shocked that this monk turned out to be a master.

"Wash up and let's set off." Dolin said as he walked towards the creek.

After the two of them washed up and cleaned up the mess they made last night, they got into the carriage and left.

With a new companion on the road, Dorian felt no longer alone. The two of them talked and laughed as they drove forward.

"From now on, you can call me Brother Dao, and I'll tell you to stop drinking." Daolin said while driving the carriage.

"Okay, you are one year older than me. It's okay for me to call you Brother Dao. Brother Dao, are you drinking?"

Dolin, who was swinging his riding crop, suddenly smelled the smell of alcohol. He followed the smell and looked over, only to see the abstaining monk taking a sip from a wine gourd.

"???" Dolin's head was full of questions. He remembered clearly that last night he drank every drop of the wine in the gourd.

"Brother Dao, what's wrong with you?" The abstaining monk asked Daolin, who was staring at him from one side.

"What do you have in your hand?" Dorian asked, pointing to the wine gourd.

"Of course there is wine in the wine gourd, otherwise would I still put water in it?" the abstaining monk said, looking at Dolin as if he were an idiot.

Dolin glanced at the alcoholic monk. He was very sure that the alcoholic monk had this wine gourd.

"I obviously finished drinking last night, how could you still have wine?" Dolin scratched his head and asked curiously.

"I can't tell you the secret. I can only tell you that we are not short of wine on the way to the imperial capital." The alcoholic monk said with a smile.

Dorian was not stupid either. He suddenly thought that in his previous life, he had read novels that contained storage rings or storage bags. Then he looked at the abstaining monk again, focusing on the accessories he wore and the long rosary beads around his neck.

"Is this rosary a storage device?" Dorian asked, pointing to the rosary of the abstaining alcoholic monk.

The abstaining monk's face changed when he heard this. It was the first time he had changed his face since meeting Daolin, but he quickly covered it up.

Dolin understood. At least he knew that there were storage devices in this world.

"Can I exchange it for a storage ring or something like that?" Dorian asked the coins in his mind while driving the carriage.

"1000 experience points can be exchanged for a low-level storage ring, about ten square meters." Coin replied casually.

"I want a storage ring!" Dolin made a wish directly in his heart.

Soon he felt a slight shaking in his arms. He reached into his arms and touched a cold ring.

He took out the ring and looked at it. It was a dark, simple ring that looked very ordinary.

"Is it possible that this is also..." Dolin's movements were clearly seen by the alcoholic monk. This was obviously a storage device.

Dolin smiled and put the ring on his right hand casually. Then he put the golden sword in his waist and the money in his arms into the ring according to his experience of reading novels in his previous life.

"Brother Dao, do you have anything to do with the Taoist family in the imperial capital?" the alcoholic monk asked with a smile.

"Why do you ask?" Dorian asked curiously.

"Firstly, it's because your surname is Dao, and there are so few surnamed Dao. Secondly, storage utensils are rare. At the very least, it is impossible for people without some background knowledge to own storage utensils. Combining these two points, I only

You can ask like this." The alcoholic monk analyzed clearly.

Dorian still smiled and did not explain.

The abstaining monk accepted it as Daolin, and felt a little certain about Daolin's identity.

"Brother Dao, what do you want when you go to the imperial capital?" the alcoholic monk asked while holding his rosary beads.

"Be a cook!"
