Chapter 10 Its different when someone supports you

It was much cooler in the mountains than down there, and Su Yan felt less hot after sitting for a while.

Qin An ate very quickly as always, finishing the meal in just a few bites. Su Yan thought of something and quickly took out the bamboo tube of water from the basket, "Here's this for you."

Qin An glanced at it, took it and drank a few sips. This was his first time hunting and someone brought him water and food. His tone was softer than before, "You go down the mountain, I won't come back until tonight."

"Keep the door closed."

Su Yan nodded, put the dishes and chopsticks into the basket, and just as she was about to leave, Qin An took the pheasant out of the basket and gave it to her, "Let's stew it for dinner tonight."

Su Yan was stunned for a moment, and soon realized that he might have thought she wanted to eat it. She shook her head and said, "Keep it and sell it."

"It will stink tomorrow and you won't be able to sell it for much money." After Qin An said this, he put the basket on his back and signaled her to go down the mountain quickly.

When she thought about it, it was too hot today, so Su Yan picked it up and put it in the basket without saying anything, and walked down the mountain.

Qin An stood there for a while, watching her walk a long way before picking up the bamboo tube and continuing to look for prey nearby.

There are quite a lot of prey that come out to look for food, but they are too cunning and difficult to catch.

Qin family

As soon as Su Yan got home, she rolled up her sleeves and boiled water to pluck the pheasant feathers, leaving half to stew and half to make cold chicken. The cold chicken will last for a long time and will not go bad tomorrow. It will be ready and ready to take.

Go to town and sell.

If you can't sell it and eat it yourself, selling it is naturally the best thing.

From a few houses near Qin's house, the fragrance could be smelled from a long way away, and many children ran to the door of Qin's house with envy to take a look.

Some women also came to take a look, but saw nothing.

They whispered to each other: "What are the Qin family cooking? It's so delicious."

"I don't know, this smells too good."

Su Yan came out to pour water and saw them. She pretended not to see them and closed the door after pouring the water.

The women didn't see what it was and were a little unhappy.

"I'm afraid that if someone eats the same thing, it's not a good thing."

"My family is cutting the meat now, so I'm going back to fry the crispy pork."

"Sister Jiang, the food is so good, it's because your family is a promising man and cuts off meat every now and then."

"The same goes for your man. He earns so much money and goes home to cook. My man is coming back."

In the house, Su Yan steamed the rice and warmed it in the pot. After that, she cleaned the yard and everything except Qin An's room.

Then she saw Qin An's pair of rotten shoes from yesterday. She picked them up and took them with her clothes to the river to soak in the water.

Yesterday I saw Qin An washing clothes and had nothing to use. I must buy some soap locust when I go to town.

It was dinner time and no one was washing clothes. She was so happy to be clean that it was almost dark after washing.

Just as he was about to get up, he met a strong man who came to carry water. He looked at Su Yan and said teasingly: "Widow Li, how is Qin An? Isn't he much better than your sick and sick husband?"

Su Yantuban didn't bother to glance at him and left directly. The strong man curled his lips and muttered: "It's different when someone supports you."

Now that Widow Li is following Qin An, the men in the village have become more calm. Qin An is a loner and will not be polite to anyone who offends him.

Wang Ermazi said something about his mother before and was almost beaten to death by Qin An, if the village chief hadn't had someone pull him away.

Grass has grown on Wang Er Mazi's grave.

Su Yan walked through the door and heard footsteps behind her. She thought it was the man chasing after her, so she quickly grabbed the shovel at the door and said, "Don't come over here. If you come over, I'll chop him to death..."

Before he finished speaking, he saw clearly who was coming. Qin An was back.

She breathed a sigh of relief and quickly put down the shovel to let him in. "I thought it was someone else."

Qin An looked at the wooden basin in her hand and said "Yeah", "I'll wash my clothes again during the day." After saying that, he closed the courtyard door.

Su Yan's eyes lit up when she saw the little wild boar in his basket, "How did you catch it?"

"I'm alone."

Qin An didn't say anything more. He let the wild boar out and found some rotten vegetable leaves to feed it.

Su Yan went to the kitchen and brought out a bucket of warm water. She walked a little unsteadily and said, "Brother Qin, go and wash yourself. You've been sweating all day."

Qin An thought it was because she thought he smelled bad, so she pursed her lips and returned to the house with the bucket. After closing the door, she lowered her head and smelled the smell of sweat.

After a while, he came out with the clothes in his arms. Su Yan saw him going out with the clothes in his arms, and quickly shouted: "Brother Qin, leave it alone, I will wash it together tomorrow."

"It's been a tiring day, let's take a rest." After saying that, he came over and took his clothes.

Qin An was pretty good to her. She would help whenever she could, and it was just trivial matters.

Qin An was stunned for a moment, his wheat-colored face a little unnatural, "No, it stinks too much."

"It's nothing. I'll go to town tomorrow and buy some soap bars and wash them back." Su Yan threw it into the basket and went out to bring the food.

Stewed chicken with mushrooms and a green vegetable.

She added: "Only half of it was stewed. I made the other half into cold diced chicken and will sell it in the town tomorrow."

"By the way, I'll give you some to taste." After saying that, he got up and went to the kitchen to get it.

Seeing the woman busy here and there, Qin An couldn't help but take another look. It seemed that it didn't matter if there were more than one person in the house.

Soon, Su Yan brought a small bowl over and said to the rough man: "It's a bit spicy. Eat a little first and see if you can eat it."

Qin An took some, put it in his mouth, swallowed it after a few times, nodded, "It's delicious, a bit spicy."

Seeing that he swallowed the bones together, Su Yan was stunned for a moment, and she felt a little dumbfounded when she realized it, but she didn't say anything.

"If there are still more next time, I will put less chili pepper and bring it up tomorrow. I will sell it for thirty cents per catty, which is eight taels."

"By the way, Brother Qin, do you have anything important in that house?"

Qin An took a mouthful of rice and swallowed it, "No."

"Then I'll help you clean it later. It's not good to live in if there's too much dust." Su Yan said with a smile.

"I'll clean it myself."

"You are a man and you are not that meticulous in cleaning. Let me do it. I haven't done much work all day, so you can just sit and rest."

After Su Yan said nothing, she lowered her head to pick up vegetables and eat. Qin An did not sit on the doorstep to eat.

After eating, he rolled up his sleeves and went to wash the dishes. Su Yan took the broom and handkerchief and went to his room.

It would be a bit dark here, so she went outside to get a brazier and light the fire, and the room suddenly became bright.

The room was not messy, but it was not clean either. The clothes were casually thrown on the bench, and the socks were stuffed into another pair of shoes. She took them out and took a look. There were two pairs, both of which had been worn.

She didn't mind it at all. Qin An was busy hunting all day, so it was strange that he had time to sort this out.

She went outside, brought the basket in, threw the clothes in, and washed them all tomorrow.

Qin An originally thought the room was clean enough, but when he came in and saw Su Yan sweeping away a pile of dirty things, his wheat-colored face couldn't help but turn red.

He said unnaturally: "I'll do it."
