Chapter 6 The second-hand bookstall owner who can tell fortunes

After finally waiting until dawn, Chu Ping, with big dark circles under his eyes, went to the supermarket downstairs to buy two batteries and replaced the clock at home.

When the owner of the supermarket downstairs saw Chu Ping, he asked why he came to buy it again if the battery was not replaced just the day before.

Chu Ping himself was a little tired from being tortured by last night's dream, and he had no intention of answering the supermarket owner's words. He just said casually and bought fake batteries.

When Chu Ping walked out of the supermarket, he heard the supermarket owner's confused voice.

"How can the battery be fake?"

When Chu Ping returned home, he replaced the battery and looked at the second hand that was moving normally. Chu Ping breathed a sigh of relief for no reason.

Chu Ping did not dare to stay in the living room. After changing the battery of the clock, he immediately returned to the bedroom.

The table in the living room was thrown into the trash can downstairs by Chu Ping as early as dawn. He didn't want to think of the scene in his dream when he saw it.

The bedroom was a bit messy, and Chu Ping had no intention of cleaning it up. He had originally scheduled two interviews for today, but he probably had to let them go.

Chu Ping was lying on his side on the bed. He wanted to sleep, but since he woke up from his dream, he felt like something was watching him.

"It's really strange. As a staunch atheist, how can I be frightened by these illusory things."

Chu Ping turned his body to the other side again, and then he noticed that the "Happiness Diary" he bought from the old man at the second-hand bookstall had been opened at some point, and it happened to be the only page. A page with writing on it.

Chu Ping shuddered and thought of his dream last night.

"Birthday cake, eighteen candles...it can't be such a coincidence."

Chu Ping took "Happiness Diary" into his hands. Only then did he discover the changes in the book. On the only page with words, I don't know when, there was a little red mark. The mark was very bright. It's so small that if you don't look carefully, you can't see it at all.

"Did I get it up?"

Chu Ping wiped it hard and found that it couldn't be wiped off at all. He began to curse the old man at the second-hand bookstall in his heart.

"As expected, he is a profiteer. Not only did he sell me pirated books, but they were also painted on by others, and he also made me an extra two yuan."

The mark on the book is

If you didn't do it yourself, then the previous owner of this book did it.

Chu Ping wanted to throw away the book, but when he thought of the bloody and perverted dream he had last night, he retracted his hand, closed the book and placed it on the bedside table.

"Why don't you go find the old man? Maybe he can know something. After all, the dream yesterday was too weird."

Chu Ping couldn't help but shuddered when he thought of the scene in his dream.

"I don't know if he will still be there."

Chu Ping got dressed and was ready to go out.

A second-hand book stall is just a stall and does not have a fixed place. If the stall owner feels that the business here is not good, the stall owner will just pack up his things and move to the next place to continue doing business.

What's more, like the old man at the second-hand bookstall, he obviously sold himself a fake book. If he didn't find a place to hide, it would be a bit abnormal.

Chu Ping also knew this truth very well, so before going to the second-hand bookstall, he kept thinking about what to do if the second-hand bookstall was no longer there.

"When the time comes, I will stay there to guard him. I don't believe he won't come back."

It is located in the old town of Huaxi City. It is a second-hand market. Basically, you can find anything you want there.

Chu Ping didn't believe that a second-hand book seller would give up his stall there.

"A monk who can run away can't run away from the temple. Let's see who has more time."

Chu Ping took a taxi to the used goods market in the old town of Huaxi City. According to his memory at the time, he found the location of the second-hand stall that day.

What the negative reviewers didn't expect was that the second-hand bookstall that was here yesterday turned into a fortune-telling stall today, but no one was looking at the stall yet.

A piece of dirty white cloth was spread on the ground with Bagua diagrams drawn on it. There was a pole standing next to it, and there was a piece of white cloth on top of the pole with three big characters written on it, Shen Shuzi.

Chu Ping looked left and right and found that he had not remembered the wrong location.

"I'm just telling you, after you've deceived someone, how can you still be here waiting for you to come back and settle the score with him?"

Anyway, this is the result. Chu Ping is not in a hurry. He is considered a vagrant. If he can't meet him today, he will come tomorrow. If he is not there tomorrow, he will come back the day after tomorrow. One day he will be able to find this person.

"If this beautiful woman makes me so attracted, I will admit that she is still an old man."

Chu Ping sighed softly, things are unpredictable, and prepared to go home.

"Young man, you are here to see Lao Xie too, right?"

Chu Ping followed the sound and looked, not far from here, a big brother wearing light blue clothes with a Mickey Mouse half-sleeve printed on the middle was sitting on a pony and looking at him.

In front of Mickey Mouse, there is a row of cultural toys, calligraphy and paintings, sunglasses from the Qing Dynasty, gold earrings worn by Cixi, wigs used by Yuan Shikai, all kinds of things, just waiting for the destined person to come and take them

take away.

"Old Xie Tou?"

"That's the fortune teller. He's going to the toilet. He's probably going to be there soon. If you're not in a hurry, just wait for him for a while."

Chu Ping frowned. He had now confirmed that he was not looking for a fortune teller, but a second-hand book seller, so he had no intention of waiting here for him to come back. He thanked the Mickey Mouse brother and left.

.

"Little brother, little brother, are you telling fortunes? Do you know the divine fortune teller? Fortune telling, fortune telling, everything is very accurate."

The voice seemed urgent, as if he was afraid that someone would run away after not having a customer for a long time.

Chu Ping was stopped by someone. He turned around and saw an old man, wearing a shabby yellow Taoist robe and a Taoist crown tilted on his head. He stopped Chu Ping while hurriedly carrying himself.

Pants that seem to be falling off.

Isn't this the same old man who sold me second-hand books yesterday? Why did he turn into a fortune teller after not seeing him for a day?

Lao Xie didn't seem to notice Chu Ping. After pulling up his pants, he pushed a piece of paper in front of Chu Ping.

"Young man, please write a word. I have a good start today and it is a gift from my uncle."

Chu Ping's eyelids were twitching wildly. Uncle, why don't we look up at the person before talking?

All of Lao Xie's attention was on his pants that were about to fall off. He was afraid that they would fall off and embarrass himself, so he didn't take a closer look at the young man standing in front of the stall.

"Young man, please write a word. Even if it means helping me, I haven't even had the money to open the door."

Chu Ping smiled bitterly in his heart, but he would never say such a thing if he looked up.
