Chapter 10 Introduction to Taoism

Xu Yin carefully pondered that the three essences, Qi and Shen all belong to the mortal body, and it is difficult to see the words of the true God in the outer world.

Then he asked: "Then apart from the physical body, there are only three souls and seven souls left?"

Pu Zhi smiled kindly and said: "Majoring in cultivating the three souls of heaven, earth and man, the seven souls are originally based on the physical body and govern the seven emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, fear, love, evil and desire.

The donor's spiritual cultivation has reached an extremely high level, so there is no need to cultivate these seven souls."

Xu Yin's eyes lit up, he bowed his hands and saluted, "Master, please teach me how to get started!"

Pu Zhi shook his head and said: "With your martial arts training, you are most suitable to join the Qingyun sect. I am a Buddhist practitioner, but it is not in line with your original path, the donor."

Xu Yin's thoughts flashed in his mind and he said: "I heard that throughout history, the first practice was to seek longevity and live as long as heaven and earth.

Then he went astray, practicing only to pursue supreme power and find the greatest power in the world.

From then on, the path of spiritual practice not only failed to lead to immortality, but also went in the opposite direction, and I began to have sectarian views."

A faint light flashed through Pu Zhi's eyes. Isn't this what he thinks on a daily basis?

"In today's world of spiritual practice, Taoism is led by Qingyun Sect, and Buddhism is led by Tianyin Temple. Each of the two schools is good at winning, but neither has achieved the ultimate goal of immortality.

If Xu has the opportunity, he will definitely try to integrate the best of Buddhism and Taoism to see if he can achieve immortality!"

This was what Puzhi thought about day and night. He once told the abbot and other disciples about this idea, but they all met with great opposition.

It's just that this move is too deviant and treacherous, and may be unacceptable to both Buddhism and Taoism.

Today, I didn't expect that this weird Jianghu person would have the same idea as me.

But the Brahma Prajna of Tianyin Temple cannot be taught privately without permission, so what should we do?

He looked at Xu Yin again, looking at his gray hair and wrinkled appearance, and thought to himself: It would be better if he were several dozen years younger. His martial arts is similar to Taoist methods. If he can be introduced to Buddhism to practice Brahma Prajna,

Maybe there will be strange changes.

Xu Yin seemed to have seen through what Pu Zhi was thinking, and said quickly: "I mistakenly entered the secret realm, and my life span has been greatly reduced. I have no other hope in this life. I only hope to obtain the method of immortality and save this disabled body."

Even if it fails, it is nothing more than God's will, and there is nothing else to blame. It's just that now that I have the opportunity to enter the path of spiritual practice, I miss it all my life. I am really unwilling to do so."

When Pu Zhi heard what he said, his heart skipped a beat and he thought to himself: That's right. Even if I teach him the technique, if it succeeds, his lifespan will increase and his youth will be restored. This means that the integration of Buddhism and Taoism is the right way to achieve longevity.

If he fails, how many years can he live with his old and frail body now? He will just be helplessly embarking on the path of three lives with a secret. I don't need to be obsessed with integrating the two heads of Buddhism and Taoism.

"The poor monk is aware of the benefactor's predicament, but there is no guarantee that you will achieve immortality after practicing my Buddhist techniques.

In this place where evildoers are rampant, on the one hand, it will also help you to protect yourself and be safe. I am authorized to teach you the method of Buddhist practice. How much you can understand depends on you, the benefactor."

Universal Wisdom did not directly teach Xu Yin the formulas of Brahma Prajna, but some other Buddhist techniques, so even if Xu Yin performed them in public, they would not have much impact.

He needs to observe Xu Yin's behavior for a while before considering whether to teach him Brahma Prajna. This matter is not trivial and he should be extremely cautious.

“Buddhism focuses on cultivating life and realizing the true nature.

Xing is the true nature, and life is the body, so it is also called the dual cultivation of sex and life.

Although the mantra I just passed on to you is not the supreme and wonderful Dharma of our sect, Brahma Prajna, it is also a relatively popular superior mental method within the Buddhist sect.

Xu Shizhu is a master of martial arts and has great achievements in his destiny, so there is no need to practice forcefully.

But the true nature often needs to enter the realm of annihilation to be seen."

Xu Yin wanted to disappear into tranquility immediately, but suddenly he heard the roar of corpses in the distance, and then he realized that he was still in danger.

"Master, I am very excited about entering the spiritual path for the first time, but this does not seem to be conducive to how to deal with demons now."

Puzhi chuckled and said, "It's actually not difficult. If you can practice meditation for half a year, you will definitely be able to reveal your true nature, and each move will have the power to subjugate demons.

Now that we don't have enough time, I am afraid that it will be difficult to achieve success in the Buddhist method of seeing one's own nature.

However, if you follow Taoist methods, you only need a little trick, and with your cultivation level, you can greatly threaten these monsters.

In martial arts, the targets are all humans, but using techniques that harm humans to deal with monsters with completely unique properties will result in twice the result with half the effort.

As an aside, given Master Xu’s martial arts, most people on the spiritual path may not be your opponents."

Hearing this compliment, Xu Yin was humble on the outside, but actually very proud on the inside.

In his previous battles with monsters, he could feel the obvious conflict between his attributes. He used all his strength, but only half of it was effective, which was really frustrating.

I believe that if the opponent is a human monk, he is sure to kill the opponent on the spot before the opponent's spell has any effect.

Pu Zhi continued: "Using the Taoist method, we train the soul internally, dominate the inside and control the outside.

The three elements of essence, Qi and spirit that Xu Shizhu emphasizes in Taoism have reached the extreme state, and the three can feed back the three souls.

The human soul, one of the three souls, is located between the heart meridians. You try to concentrate your energy and spirit on the heart meridians.

Then, the heart essence and blood are disintegrated drop by drop, spreading into the true essence, and using such energy to make moves brings with it the power of the human soul."

Xu Yin did as he was told and felt that his originally pure and pure Qi seemed to have some blood-red impurities.

This was a big taboo for him who originally practiced martial arts, because the purer the true energy, the greater the power, and the less likely it would be interfered by other types of true energy.

So even if I had this experience in the past, I would definitely skip it and know it without using it. But I didn't expect that this is the key to a warrior slaying demons!

He looked at the slightly blood-red Qi condensed in the palm of his hand and asked doubtfully: "Master, is this true?"

Puzhi smiled and said: "That's true, the donor's essence is really pure, with almost no impurities.

These methods can kill ghosts and demons. If the donor faces ghosts like ghosts, he no longer has to worry.

Even when dealing with monsters such as red evil spirits and fox monsters, your martial arts power can be fully utilized.

However, you must remember that this is an emergency method. Only using the power of human souls to fight against monsters will cause great losses to your own essence and blood.

It would be fine if the donor was young, but now that you are old, every drop of blood essence represents your longevity."

Xu Yin bowed to receive the instruction and said seriously: "Master, can you teach me that orthodox practitioners can also use this method to succumb to demons?"

Pu Zhi smiled and said: "Of course not. The method of orthodox Taoism is based on the three souls of heaven, earth and man complementing each other, so there will be no loss of essence and blood. However, it already requires a certain number of years of practice and methods, and the poor monk does not know how to do it.

.”

The roar of the corpse soul started again. Xu Yin looked back and thanked him seriously: "Master taught me, and my disciples will remember it deeply!"
