Master Puhong's praise came from his sincerity, and he did not treat Xu Yin differently because he was a disciple of the Qingyun Sect.
Xu Yin bowed and said: "Master Puzhi introduced me to the world of spiritual practice and gave me more advice. Xu has always been grateful. Unfortunately, Xu Yin was not at the foot of the mountain when the Caomiao Village tragedy happened, otherwise the tragedy would not have happened."
"This is all a matter of fate in the world. Everything has its cause. How can we blame anyone?
If Junior Brother Puzhi had not suppressed the Blood-devouring Bead for many years with his own Buddha mind, and had a deep obsession with seeking immortality, how could he have been injured and then backfired by the Blood-devouring Bead, and done such evil things?
It can only be said that cause and effect reincarnate, and retribution will be unpleasant."
Xu Yin was silent for a moment, nodded and said: "Cause and karma are indeed the case. But if it weren't for the guidance of Master Pu Zhi, I wouldn't be where I am today.
He had made some mistakes in his past, but the only thing he could do was combine the two methods of Buddhism and Taoism, which would have miraculous effects.
Although it may not be the way to eternal life, it shows that all dharmas are unified and can approach the way of heaven!"
Master Puhong put his palms together and said, "Amitabha, I understand what Almsgiver Xu means. However, Buddhism and Taoism are different. Even if it is proved to be right, it will be difficult to do this."
Xu Yin smiled and said: "I am not trying to fuse Qingyun Sect's Taoism with Tianyin Temple's Buddhism, but I want to remind the master that Buddhism's Dharma belongs within, and Taoism's Dharma belongs to the nature of heaven and earth.
The integration of the two is nothing more than internal and external, man and heaven and earth. If we know their origin, we should be able to create a method close to the origin.
Haha, these are too many digressions. In fact, there is another thing that needs to be told to the master."
Master Puhong has thought deeply about Xu Yin's words. With his current level of cultivation, it can be said that it is extremely difficult to move forward. Perhaps he can try Xu Yin's tips and find a way to integrate the outer world and the inner world. Maybe he can
Find another way out.
But when he heard Xu Yin said that he had something else to tell him, he nodded and said, "Please give me some clarification, Master Xu."
Xu Yin said calmly: "I and I found a volume of heavenly books in the treasury of the Emperor of Heaven. I cannot repay Master Puzhi's kindness in the past. I am willing to repay Tianyin Temple with this book to complete this kindness."
Pu Hong and Fa looked at each other and saw shock in each other's eyes.
It is not unknown to Tianyin Temple that one volume of the Heavenly Book can create the entire inheritance of a sect, so everyone was surprised to hear Xu Yin being so candid.
Pu Hong said: "Donor Xu, you can hide this matter yourself..."
"Xu repays the favor."
Puhong said no more. The group entered the meditation room behind the Mahavira Palace. Xu Yin orally dictated the scriptures and recorded the Dharma in writing. Puhong sat aside and listened quietly.
Just listening to Xu Yin's narration, the Buddha's light contained in his body was activated on its own, and suddenly mixed with a ray of clear light. The Taoism that had not made any progress for many years seemed to have improved!
This was enough to prove whether the scripture mentioned by Xu Yin was true. Faxiang was very excited and said quickly: "Abbot, what do you think of this heavenly book?"
Pu Hong said: "Although the methods of practice are different from the Buddhist methods, they are complementary and complementary, which is indeed remarkable. However, it will take some time to understand a set of true methods suitable for inheritance.
Donor Xu is so generous, I am deeply grateful. If you need anything in the future, please let me know."
Xu Yin naturally had his purpose for coming here. He said: "Master Puzhi told me back then that if one can practice Tai Chi Xuan Qing Dao to the highest level of purity, and if one can practice Brahma Prajna to the same level, it will be extremely difficult to progress forward.
If so, you can tell the truth to Master Puhong and ask for insight into the wordless jade jade, or you may gain enlightenment."
Pu Hong said curiously: "When junior brother returned to the temple, there was not much time left. He passed away after telling the story about benefactor Zhang Xiaofan and you, and never mentioned this matter."
Xu Yin smiled and said: "I see, it's not easy to prove whether what Master Puzhi told me is true or not, and it's not easy for me to be shameless. In this case, I can only say goodbye and think about my cultivation.
This is the way to break through.”
This trick of retreating into progress is usually very useful for eminent monks and great virtues, because these people care about face more than anyone else, not to mention that the benefits given are too great, and they have mastered the Brahma Prajna.
The matter of understanding the wordless jade can only be said to be a trivial matter, and there is nothing I cannot agree with.
Pu Hong shook his head slightly and said, "Maybe junior brother didn't have much time that day and forgot to mention this matter.
Since Almsgiver Xu is quite proficient in the mysteries of this temple, it is not a big deal to understand the wordless jade bi.
It's just that it's not an easy thing to understand things from the wordless jade."
With that said, he and Dharma Minister led Xu Yin to the place where the wordless jade jade was located in Mount Xumi behind Tianyin Temple.
Along the way, we also talked about the origin of the wordless jade.
"Thousands of years ago, when the founder of Tianyin Temple was still a traveling monk, he traveled in all directions. One day, for some unknown reason, he strayed into the mountains of Mount Xumi. He lost his way and could no longer get out.
In desperation, the Patriarch wandered around in the mountains and forests. It was because of his natural affinity with Buddhism that he saw a stone wall as smooth as jade.
At that time, the Patriarch was already hungry, thirsty and sleepy, so he took a rest under the jade wall. Legend has it that the Patriarch sat under the jade wall without words for three days and three nights.
Somehow, from the initial hunger and thirst, he gradually fell into samadhi, with a peaceful mind and a calm mind, and entered the state of great perfection in my Buddhism. Three days later, he suddenly enlightened to the Buddhist principles under this wordless jade wall.
He also comprehended the supreme true Dharma, Brahma Prajna, passed down from generation to generation in Tianyin Temple, thus establishing the position of Tianyin Temple lineage in the world of Taoism."
Xu Yin secretly thought: Just like the founder of the Qingyun Sect, he discovered the Zhuxian Sword in Huanyue Cave and understood the Xuanqing Tao of Tai Chi! In fact, it was a practice system that was understood from the Heavenly Book of the Wordless Jade Bi and the Heavenly Book of the Zhuxian Sword.
.
The three of them walked along the mountain road for half an hour, twisting and turning among the lofty mountains. Unknowingly, they left Tianyin Temple far behind them and could no longer see it.
Finally, we came to the end of the winding mountain road, where there were thickets of vegetation on the edge, and there was a cliff in front of us.
Standing on the cliff, looking up, I saw that the mist under the cliff was filled with mist, like rolling waves, surging endlessly, and it looked like a valley.
The three of them jumped into the mist under the cliff. The mountain wind here was extremely strong, but they could not blow away the mist like cobwebs.
Soon, the fog gradually thinned, and the scenery below suddenly became clear. It was a small stone platform, quite smooth, with a radius of three feet and sparse trees around it.
There is nothing here. If you don't know anything, you will just mistakenly think that you are being played by Pu Hong and others.
However, Puhong and Faxiang stood there, chanting sutras, and Buddha's light rushed from the two of them into the mist above their heads.
There seemed to be magical power in the mist that resonated with it, and there was a faint sound of thunder. Suddenly, the sound of wind and thunder became louder, and the sunshine in the sky became more and more dazzling.
After a while, the thick fog finally dispersed, the light shone down, and the sky and the earth were suddenly filled with dazzling light.
I saw behind the small stone platform and under the cliff, a cliff like a mirror, hanging straight down, more than seven feet high and more than four feet wide. The material of the mountain wall looks like jade but not jade, and is extremely smooth, reflecting the beautiful scenery of the world and the mountains far and near.
