Chapter 004: The Killing Begins

Second floor.

Without anyone knowing it, a set of modern European style furniture was added.

The sliding windows became floor-to-ceiling windows without curtains.

All the furnishings looked new and spotless, which was incompatible with the first and third floors.

The princess ran down and thought she had gone to the wrong place. It was not until she saw the maid and male servant appearing together that she was sure that she had not strayed into some strange place.

"There's so much noise upstairs, what happened?" The manservant's eyes were narrowed and he looked like he was asleep, and his tone was also lazy.

The princess looked pale and explained the situation simply.

"I've been wandering around on the first floor for so long, and I haven't seen a single female ghost. What about you?" The maid pointed her chin at the male servant, and when he nodded, she looked at the princess, "It seems it's not safe here. Let's go down."

The three of them went downstairs smoothly.

"By the way, have you seen the mute?" the servant stopped in front of the princess and asked.

"I didn't see it." He didn't say it. The princess had already forgotten about the mute's revenge. Now her mind was filled with images of the king jumping off the building.

"You caused the most harm to the mute, so she should be the first to seek revenge from you."

The valet's left index finger was bent against his nose and he continued: "How about you stay here and lure her out, and I and the maid driver will kill her!"

The princess is still not sure that the mysterious maid's words are the imperial decree and she must do what she says, but the two people in front of her have already made up their minds.

Both of them were waiting for the princess's reply.

At this time, someone said that they had seen the mute maid.

The three of them followed the sound, and the gardener walked slowly over with a smile on his face.

The maid and the male servant approached the gardener and listened to what he said about the mute maid's movement, but the princess always felt that the gardener's smile did not match his personality.

When they first met, she found that he was very timid and did not dare to look at others casually.

Her instinct told herself that this person might be in danger.

After the three of them finished talking, the manservant discovered that the princess was missing.

The gardener's eyes showed a fierce light and he said firmly:

"The princess was here just now. There is something I haven't told you yet. She and the mute maid have joined forces. Before killing the mute maid, we must kill the princess first."

"are you sure?"

The manservant actually believed it. After all, they had a common enemy. Before she was killed, there should be no traitors among the insiders.

So did the maid. The gardener was pleased with their response.

"The king is still outside the castle. He is still alive. If you join forces with him, it will become easier to kill the princess."

The two of them went down the stairs together. The maid was confused and the gardener didn't check the situation. How did he know that the king was still alive?

The manservant explained: He was probably upstairs at the time and saw the king below. Can we ask the king about the specific situation?

The two walked out of the castle gate with their own doubts.

The shadow on the ground stretched longer and longer, and soon there was only a shadow left.

The manservant looked around helplessly, and his heartbeat began to accelerate. The maid was still with him just now, but why did she disappear all of a sudden? "Where have you been? Please answer me."

"Help...help..."

The male servant saw with his own eyes that the maid was being dismembered by a huge blood-red python, and then swallowed pieces of bloody flesh into his stomach.

His stomach was churning and he couldn't help retching. He covered his mouth and shouted: "Help!" Knowing that his legs were weak and he couldn't run fast, he kept looking for things to throw at the giant python.

The noise was so loud that it could be heard in the basement.

The mute maid held the pen for a moment, then hurriedly stuffed the written card into her skirt pocket and got up to take a look.

The prince saw the basement passage and walked down, where they met head-on.

He forgot that she had become mute, shut up as soon as the words came out, took her hand and continued walking down.

"You know the truth and know how to hide here."

The mute maid couldn't understand what he was talking about, so she secretly walked to the underground wine cellar and found an absolutely safe area - a phone booth, a newsstand and a snack shop.

Communication is very important, so she spends a lot of time looking for pens and paper, trying to tell them some important and information that may be beneficial to them.

"You can't even go there!"

The mute maid pouted, stared at the prince with round eyes, took out a pen and a new card and wrote:

Why do you care about me? I can go wherever I want. You are suddenly so attentive to me. It's scary, you know?

"First, I only care about you as a last resort. Second, you are now the target of everyone's hunting. Third, don't ask me why, and don't doubt me."

The situation was urgent, so the prince gave the order arbitrarily. His original intention was not to have any contact with anyone.

The mute maid was so angry that her mouth twisted and she continued to write:

Among these people, you are the most insidious and cruel. If I believed you, I would be a big fool.

The prince was about to speak when he saw a shadow on the side wall from the corner of his eye. He quickly covered the mute maid's mouth and hid in the oak barrel.

"It's strange, where is the mute maid hiding? I haven't seen anyone after searching for a long time. Has she been killed by someone?"

The queen is more enthusiastic about her absolute safe zone than finding a mute maid.

"It's really God who helped me. I didn't expect that I was so lucky. I found the newsstand successfully last time and this time too."

A huge stone fell to the ground in the queen's heart, "They are a bunch of idiots. They only know how to hide from others, but they don't know how to look for their own life-saving straw first. They are a bunch of idiots."

In terms of luck, the queen does have much more luck than others.

The red book didn't say that she couldn't hide in the safe area all the time. She originally wanted to continue the method she used last time and stay there until there was no danger.

At this time, someone came looking for her. Looking here and there, she saw the queen standing at the door of the newsstand. She smiled and said hello: "Hello."

"Um."

The queen turned her head away as if she didn't want to talk to the groom.

"Someone has been eaten by a python. It's safer to hide here."

It was only when the queen saw the manservant that he was nearly frightened to death that she hurriedly ran down without answering the question.

"The servant's left arm was eaten."

The queen felt sorry for him, but she still didn't hide away.

"Red roses are blooming in many places on the first floor. If it weren't for the pythons, I really wouldn't want to leave them."

The groom didn't actually speak to the queen specifically. He loved flowers, and he had never seen a rose blooming so beautifully, so he couldn't help but talk to himself.

The queen silently recited the title of the play. Since she is Princess Wild Rose, does the mute maid have any hidden secrets with Rose?

The main reason is that I haven't even seen her figure now, and the queen is not easy to talk to.

The groom's eyes rolled, and he saw a strand of long black hair in the oak barrel against the wall. Thinking carefully, among the group of people, only the mute maid had straight black hair.

"oops!"

The queen did not see the groom and continued talking, accusing him of being surprised for nothing.

The groom smiled at the oak barrel.
