When several Arhats saw this scene, they frowned at first, and then became furious.
They cannot accept that a non-Buddhist person can actually achieve such great merits as physical relics! Even if they are already Arhats, they have only condensed the relics. As for the whole body being stained with glass, and realizing the body of relics, it is impossible to imagine.
Something I dare not even think about!
So after reacting, the first reaction of these Arhats was to be angry, feeling that Su Wen had blasphemed Buddhism, Buddhism, and even themselves!
But when they were about to stop Su Wen, they were stopped by the great virtue, Juxian Bodhisattva.
"This is the will of the true Buddha!"
The two Bodhisattvas had no expressions of joy or sorrow on their faces, and even looked a little indifferent.
They were happy to see the changes in Su Wen.
Especially Juxian Bodhisattva, after hearing the Diamond Sutra preached by Su Wen, he understood what his previous prophecy about Su Wen was about.
The destiny he saw was that Su Wen disrupted Buddhism and even caused the division of Buddhism.
Moreover, he saw that Buddhism might be in ruins, but it might also move towards a more glorious era.
The two completely different fates made Juxian Bodhisattva curious about Su Wen, and he was especially full of longing for the latter fate.
Now the great truth contained in the Dharma preached by Su Wen gave him hope of becoming a Buddha.
Yes, it is possible for those who have achieved the extraordinary status of Bodhisattva to become Buddhas.
Of course, it is possible not only for him, but for everyone to achieve nirvana and finally become a Buddha!
This is naturally a sign of the great prosperity of Buddhism!
But again, this statement is completely different from the Buddhist teachings that have been passed down to this day.
All Buddhist scriptures say that there is only one true Buddha. Others may be able to attain the rank of Buddha and obtain the name and strength of "Buddha Lord", but they cannot compare with the true Buddha.
Everyone is content to perform their duties in the attained fruition status and settle down in their destiny for the rest of their lives. They are unwilling to break this fixed order.
Therefore, the division of Buddhism will inevitably occur.
Su Wen's senses were cut off from the outside world at this time.
He couldn't hear the outside world, and couldn't see anything. At this time, he only felt that his thoughts were soaring in the boundless nothingness. In the nothingness, various Buddhist auspicious signs emerged one after another, compared with the great virtues and bodhisattvas.
There are only a few more Dharma images presented.
Finally, Su Wen felt that his senses were gradually recovering, and when he opened his eyes, he saw the Great Virtue Bodhisattva casting six Dharma signs, and under each Dharma sign, suppressed an angry Arhat.
Juxian Bodhisattva is the same. There is golden light in his hand, and the golden light turns into ropes, trapping the three Arhats.
The mighty Arhat had a strange look on his face and a deep gaze. He stared at Su Wen and looked him over and over again. He seemed to be weighing his thoughts, but he was still undecided and had not yet made a final decision.
"Good!"
The mighty Arhat finally put his hands together, recited a Buddhist verse and said: "Congratulations, Zen Master, for attaining the glazed gold body."
"..."
When Su Wen heard this, he was in a daze.
"...glazed golden body?"
He heard that the real Arhat mentioned that there are only four levels of enlightenment in the Buddhist kingdom, namely the true body, the untainted body, the golden body and the glazed body. On the surface, there is no distinction between the four, but the untainted body.
It is always better than the real body. Those with golden body and glazed body will definitely achieve higher fruition status than the former.
The four words are usually used separately. If someone has two or more changes in his body when he is preaching, he can call them both at the same time.
But at this time, the mighty Arhat stacked the three words together and applied them to Su Wen, which made Su Wen shudder.
Then he felt changes in his body. His skin became smoother, and there was even a layer of enamel on it, with a clear luster. This was a change on the surface. He also felt that his body seemed to have a more sacred aura, and it had a distinct luster.
I feel immune to all evil, my thoughts are clear, and I can easily find answers to many questions that I have been pondering for a long time.
But Su Wen finally discovered that although he had many Buddhist marks and abilities, he did not awaken to the Buddhist path and failed to achieve fruition.
Of course, this did not make Su Wen feel disappointed, but made him feel relieved.
If he really turns into some sort of Arhat, how should he explain his return to Qingshan Academy?
After all, he was Qian Haoran, a disciple of Dong Zhizhang and the acting deputy headmaster of Qingshan Academy. In the blink of an eye, he turned into a Buddhist extraordinary. I am afraid that everyone at Qingshan Academy would be ridiculed by other extraordinary schools. He turned into a person who could ridicule more than a hundred people.
The laughingstock of the decade.
"Thank you all."
When Su Wen saw the appearance of the Great Virtue Bodhisattva and the golden rope in Juxian Bodhisattva's hand, he couldn't help but smile bitterly: "Why is this?"
"We have different understandings of Buddhism. In order to prevent these reckless guys from disturbing you in preaching the true Buddha's Dharma, we asked them to calm down for the time being."
The Great Virtue Bodhisattva set the tone for the Buddhist teachings preached by Su Wen and recognized the "true Buddha's Dharma" preached by Su Wen, so that these Arhats who were unwilling to agree with these scriptures could not find a chance to attack.
Since it is the true Buddha's Dharma, even if they do not agree with it, they cannot use this as an excuse to kill those who preach the Dharma. They can only debate on this and argue whether the modern method or the ancient method is better.
Debating about Buddhism is the most common thing in Savatthi State. It can minimize the impact of this matter and even promote the Buddhist thoughts mentioned by Su Wen, enlightening those extraordinary people who are stagnant in their realm.
Enlightenment and gain new vitality.
"This "Diamond Sutra" can be said to be every word. The word "empty" is not mentioned in the entire text, but the principle of "empty" is used throughout the text. It is like a dream, a dream or an electric shock." Juxian Bodhisattva
A deep sigh.
Su Wen raised his head and saw that the Juxian Bodhisattva, who originally had a skull face, had some flesh and blood on his face. He looked just a little thinner than a normal person and looked energetic.
"Congratulations Bodhisattva."
Su Wen could naturally feel that the changes in Juxian Bodhisattva were related to the insights he gained when he preached the Dharma.
It was precisely because of this that Juxian Bodhisattva was so eager to him. The several Arhats tied in his hands could not move at all. Even their mouths were tied several times with gold ropes and they could not speak.
"Thank you, Zen Master, for explaining the sermon to me for thirty years."
The mighty Arhat stood up and saluted Su Wen, and then took off his tattered cassock. However, after the cassock came off the mighty Arhat, it turned into a brightly colored cassock, inlaid with the Seven Buddhist Treasures, shining brightly.
"This brocade cassock was made from the excess Buddha power when I attained the golden body. It is impervious to water and fire, and is immune to all evil spirits. It has a miraculous effect on awakening the mind and meditating. I gave it to the Zen master."
The mighty Arhat held the cassock in both hands and handed it to Su Wen.
"This is impossible."
Su Wen was shocked. He didn't expect that Divine Arhat would give him such a treasure. It was only then that he noticed that the name Divine Arhat had changed to him.
"With this cassock, you can travel freely in Savatthi City." The mighty Arhat smiled meaningfully.
This smile obviously made people feel refreshed, but actually it made Su Wen feel creepy.
He could hear that there was something in the words of the mighty Arhat.
The mighty Arhat clearly told him that after today, he would become a thorn in the side of some people in Savatthi City. If no one protects him, he may suffer misfortune.
"This is a Buddhist country, a good place..."
Su Wen thought carefully in his heart.
But then he thought about it, the Buddhist country mentioned by Zhenfan Arhat and the Buddhist country mentioned by Saihu were obviously two different things. It was even certain that they were both Buddhist countries, and they were two aspects of the Buddhist country.
Since the Buddhist kingdom has a sunny side, it naturally has a dark side. Since some people think that the Buddhist teachings he described are exquisite, some people will naturally think that this is heresy and put him to death.
"Thank you Arhat for the generous gift."
In the end, Su Wen did not refuse. He stretched out his hands and took the cassock presented by the mighty Arhat.
"Beautiful cassock..."
Su Wen thought about this name. It sounded familiar. He must have heard it somewhere.
"In time, if the Zen master can open up my Buddhist path and wear this cassock to open an altar and preach to all living beings, it will be my great fortune."
The smile on the mighty Arhat's face became even stronger.
Su Wen could only smile in return.
The path to promotion to Buddhism... seemed impossible to him.
Generally speaking, with the help of the divine power and the real Arhat, he could easily become an Arhat or even a Bodhisattva based on his understanding of the Diamond Sutra. But he didn't know the rules of the Great Dao and knew that he didn't have a very advanced Buddhist knowledge.
In terms of attainment, the hundreds of extraordinary paths reject the Buddhist path, so Su Wen was ultimately unable to become a Buddhist extraordinary person.
Such a result is also what Su Wen hopes for.
"I hope one day..."
Su Wen said politely, but in his heart he said it was absolutely impossible.
"Zhenfan, please send the Zen master back to rest."
Juxian Bodhisattva smiled sincerely at Su Wen, and at the same time loosened the golden rope in his hand and let go of the few Arhats bound by him.
"I sincerely obey the teachings of my teacher." Although the monk Zhenfan has become an Arhat, he still respects Juxian Bodhisattva and serves him as a disciple.
He supported Su Wen with both hands, and Su Wen suddenly saw a flower in his eyes and appeared in the familiar garden of Juxian Bodhisattva's dojo.
"Sai Hu..."
Su Wen suddenly remembered that his donkey was lost again.
But Sai Hu will probably find his way back...right?
"Bodhisattvas and Arhats!"
After Su Wen left, those Arhats who had been suppressed by the Great Virtue and Juxian Bodhisattva were freed and became furious: "The Buddhist Dharma preached by this man is definitely not the will of the true Buddha, but a heresy. It can never be preached to ordinary believers, or even to ordinary believers.
Spread it among great virtues, otherwise it will lead to endless disasters!"
The auras of these Arhats are chaotic, and they are obviously trying their best to resist the Buddhist teachings expounded by Su Wen, because what Su Wen talks about conflicts with their own Buddhist power. Once they accept Su Wen's preaching, the previous achievements of practice will be completely wiped out.
, naturally we cannot sit back and watch such heresies spread.
"There is no superiority or inferiority in Buddhism, only appropriateness or inappropriateness."
The mighty Arhat retorted: "How can you tell whether it is true Buddhism or a heresy?"
"What the Divine Mighty Arhat said is absolutely true. If the Arhat Who Crosses the World feels that this method is wrong, he can open an altar on a different day and preach to refute it."
Juxian Bodhisattva said slowly.
"This...such heresies, how can we put them out in the open and preach them!" Duchen Arhat was angry.
"My Buddha is compassionate and transcends the world. If you open your mouth and shut up, you regard the true Buddha's teachings as heresy. I doubt that you are the real heresy!" The great virtuous Bodhisattva was furious: "True scriptures and false scriptures, truth and false ways.
, once you argue, you will know that if you don’t even dare to argue about Buddhism, how can you understand the true principles of Buddhism?”
"I want to ask Lord Buddha for instructions on this matter!"
Duchen Arhat's face turned purple, but in the end he did not give up his position and decided to report the matter to the higher-ups of the Buddhist sect.
"That's great. This is a big deal, so it should be like this."
The great virtuous Bodhisattva Juxian looked at each other and expressed his approval of the words of Arhat Duchen: "Before the Lord Buddha sends down the decree... the Heart Sutra and the Diamond Sutra are not allowed to be circulated externally, but can only be circulated among Bodhisattvas and Arhats.
