Su Wen coughed slightly and said, "I will teach you the Surangama Sutra of the Great Buddha's Head Tathagata, the secret cause of cultivation and realization of the meaning of all Bodhisattvas' ten thousand deeds. If there are any mistakes or omissions, I hope you will correct me."

As soon as he said these words, everyone tugged at the corners of their mouths.

When the name of this scripture came out of Su Wen's mouth, they felt strange.

So let them correct me... can they correct me with a hammer?!

"So I heard...for a while, the Buddha was in the Huan Jingshe in Shiluofa City..."

Su Wen sat upright and began to preach Buddhism.

The "Surangama Sutra" has a very high status and is extremely important in Buddhism. There is even a saying in the "Dharma Nirvana Sutra": In the end of the Dharma era, the "Surangama Sutra" will be extinct first, and the rest of the scriptures will also become extinct. If the Surangama Sutra does not The era of Dharma rectification is now.

To measure the era of Dharma Ending and Dharma Rectification, one must look at whether the Shurangama Sutra still exists.

Of course, the reason why Su Wen wanted to preach the Shurangama Sutra is because this sutra is not only accepted by Mahayana believers, but also Hinayana Buddhism.

This was his compromise method, thinking that through this Buddhist Dharma, he could resolve the current hostility in Savatthi State, ease both sides of the conflict, and ultimately eliminate this disaster.

As the Sanskrit sounds spread in all directions, the Bodhisattvas and Arhats who were originally hostile around them, like Juxian Bodhisattva and others, sat cross-legged and listened quietly to what Su Wen said.

The opening chapter of "Surangama Sutra" is about Ananda begging for food and passing through the prostitution chamber. He encountered an illusion and was deceived by the Madagava. He almost broke the precepts. The Buddha sent Manjushri Bodhisattva to rescue him by holding the Surangama Mantra and rescued Ananda. Ananda regretted it. I only heard and memorized the Buddha's Dharma a lot, but I did not practice it diligently. As a result, I was deceived by illusions. Therefore, I asked the Buddha to explain the first methods of various Dharma doors to sentient beings.

This is also the origin of the name of the Shurangama Sutra.

"All living beings come from the beginningless, and life and death continue... all because they don't know the permanent true mind, the pure and luminous body, and use all kinds of delusional thoughts. This thought is not true and is inherently reincarnated..."

Under the high platform, Red Lotus Bodhisattva frowned slightly and recited the sutra recited by Su Wen, thinking deeply.

"Where is the heart?"

When Su Wen talked about the Buddha's seven questions to Ananda "Where is the heart?", the faces of Juxian Bodhisattva and Great Virtue Bodhisattva were full of joy, as if they had been puzzled for many years and finally solved it.

"Destroy the illusion...only then can the truth be revealed!"

The Great Virtuous Bodhisattva finally murmured to himself and expressed his feelings.

"The Dharma of the True Buddha! This is indeed the Dharma of the True Buddha!"

Many extraordinary beings who followed Red Lotus Bodhisattva showed joy and confusion on their faces.

They originally believed that Su Wen was a heretic and what he preached must be counterfeit Dharma and not the true teachings of the Buddha.

However, the Buddhist teachings preached by Su Wen pointed directly at the problems deep in their hearts that had troubled them for many years.

Especially when Su Wen preached about the method of defeating demons, they were even more excited and fascinated.

Because this part is particularly relevant to their needs.

The greatest purpose of Theravada Buddhism is to follow the existing Buddhist rules, step by step, improve one's self-cultivation, and finally achieve the golden body of Arahant - the end of the fruition of Hinayana Buddhism, which is the golden body of Arahant.

"Ananda, if there are sentient beings who can recite this sutra and uphold this mantra, as I have said, it will last for endless kalpas. If they follow my teachings and practice the way as taught, they will directly achieve Bodhi and have no more demonic karma."

When Su Wen said this, he slowly let out a breath.

"Amitabha!"

The mighty Arhat next to him suddenly felt something in his heart, looked at Su Wen, and uttered a Buddhist verse that he had never said before, but it existed as a matter of course.

Su Wen did not notice anything strange, but the Mighty Arhat noticed that when Su Wen finished preaching this scripture, Su Wen's divine body glowing with glaze changed again.

The color of colored glaze seemed to be real, but it soon disappeared, and the whole body began to glow with golden light.

"Arahant's golden body!"

The mighty Arhat thought to himself.

Su Wen still has not awakened to the extraordinary power of Buddhism, but the Buddha's power has penetrated his body and maximized the quality of his body. At this time, his body's strength is already comparable to that of the golden Arhat, and he is still the strongest

That kind of.

Having such infiltration of Buddhist power is enough to prove that the Dharma preached by Su Wen is profound and true and is definitely not a false Dharma.

The mighty Arhat protects Su Wen and has a deep understanding of the Buddhism preached by Su Wen.

It's just that his attention was focused on Su Wen, and he didn't realize the changes in himself.

"Look...the lotus behind the mighty Arhat!"

An Arhat next to Red Lotus Bodhisattva was the first to wake up from the intoxication of the exquisite Dharma. He looked up at the high platform and saw various strange phenomena.

In fact, the vision on Su Wen's body was more obvious, but the golden lotus blooming behind the mighty Arhat was more obvious, making people mistakenly think that all kinds of visions came from the mighty Arhat.

The golden lotus behind the mighty Arhat represents his golden body of Arhat.

At this time, I gained another enlightenment from Buddhism. Next to the lotus, there were five more lotuses blooming slowly. The color of the golden lotus in the center changed and became seven-color.

This is a sign of attaining Bodhisattva.

For a Buddhist country, although there are not many Bodhisattvas, it is not uncommon. At this time, there were seven or eight Bodhisattvas under the high platform.

but……

No golden-bodied Arhat has ever been able to continue to advance to the level of attainment and become a Bodhisattva!

This is the law of the Buddhist kingdom. From the moment Buddhism appeared, what kind of achievement a transcendent person can achieve depends on the moment of initial enlightenment, and then spends the whole life on the attainment achieved!

Bodhisattvas are no exception. After becoming a Bodhisattva, the possibility of becoming a Buddha is zero!

but……

In front of everyone's eyes, the first Arhat in the Buddhist kingdom, the mighty Arhat, underwent a transformation.

He's getting promoted!

He changed from a golden Arhat to a Bodhisattva!

From the perspective of the strength of Taoism, it does not mean that Arhat cannot defeat Bodhisattva, but from the perspective of sequence suppression, there is no doubt that Bodhisattva is stronger than Arhat.

"It turns out...Buddhism has already experienced the Age of Ending Dharma..."

Su Wen had a clear understanding in his heart.

Buddhism in this world does not have the Shurangama Sutra.

In a sense, it also confirms the Buddhist legend that the Shurangama Sutra is hidden, all dharmas are extinct, and the age of the end of dharma has arrived.

As for Buddhism in this world, after its slow recovery, it went from scratch to what it is today.

"It's not just Buddhism... hundreds of extraordinary schools also experienced the same fate..."

Su Wen shook his head in his heart.

"This is pseudo-law!"

The Arhat who first saw the mighty Arhat transformed into a Bodhisattva suddenly stood up and cursed excitedly: "You have broken the Buddhist rules. An Arhat is an Arhat. How can you suddenly transform into a Bodhisattva! This is wrong! You can't do this!"

There was even a tremor in his voice.

The foundation of the entire Buddhist kingdom is based on the fact that everyone knows his or her role from birth.

When an ordinary person is born, his family status is the pinnacle of his life.

Extraordinary people who can understand the power from Buddhism will have a second chance. From the moment they become extraordinary people, they can know which level of power they are in the Buddhist kingdom, and then receive treatment at the corresponding level.

Those hopeless untouchables and slaves at the bottom also know very well that they can only work as cows and horses in this life. In exchange for blessings in the next life, they may become ordinary people, and then continue to accumulate blessings, and finally slowly climb to the top.

The order of the Buddhist kingdom has been as solid as a rock for thousands of years.

But……

When extraordinary beings realize that their positions may change...

So what do ordinary people think, and what do the untouchables at the bottom think?

Will they still be willing to accept the status quo and accept whatever comes?

Or should you give it a try and find a better way out?

Of course, in the face of the current strength of the Buddhist Kingdom, the turmoil at the bottom will never succeed.

The real danger comes from those extraordinary people who are unwilling to accept the status quo.

Those Yakshas, ​​Asuras, those Arhats who are ready to attack, and even Bodhisattvas.

Everyone fantasizes that they can become Buddhas... How insulting is that to the Lord Buddha, and how blasphemous is it to the true Buddha?

Unimaginable and unbearable!

"Aye Arhat."

The Great Virtuous Bodhisattva instantly appeared in front of the furious Aye Arhat, raised his index finger to his lips, and said softly: "Silence."

He would never tolerate the advancement of the mighty Arhat being interrupted.

This is something that has never happened in the Buddhist Kingdom for thousands of years. It also means that everyone can gain experience by observing the promotion of the Mighty Arhat.

After all, they also saw hope. The great virtuous Bodhisattva also wanted to become the great virtuous Buddha. But it was not possible before, but now there is an opportunity. How could they not seize it firmly?

"Red Lotus Bodhisattva!"

Seeing the Great Virtue Bodhisattva so close at hand, Aye Arhat's expression suddenly changed, he distanced himself from the Great Virtue Bodhisattva, and then called out to the Red Lotus Bodhisattva.

"It's impossible... I am the compassionate Buddha... How is this possible..."

He was as shocked as Red Lotus Bodhisattva.

He was still immersed in the exquisite Dharma, but when he saw the changes in the mighty Arhat, he was also stirred up in his heart.

At this time, he was in shock and uncertainty, and had not yet decided on his final stance.

Because he saw his opportunity.

But...he also saw a huge crisis.

Unlike Ju Xian and the Great Virtue Bodhisattva, he is not only a great Buddhist power, but his secular family also has huge interests in Savatthi Kingdom.

If the essence of Su Wen's Dharma spreads, it will definitely have a huge impact on the entire Buddhist country, and the old and new forces will inevitably alternate. By then, the family that has been deeply tied to the old forces will have no possibility of unwinding.

Hinayana Buddhism does not agree with the concept that "monastics are all empty of the four elements" and cannot sit idly by.

"This son's method should not be taught lightly."

Red Lotus Bodhisattva finally stood up and said something to Dade Bodhisattva. He was still willing to compromise, if the people headed by Ju Xian and Dade Bodhisattva could accept his conditions. "It's still as agreed before... etc."

Lord Buddha wakes up and makes a decision again."
