Chapter 461: Intolerable

After listening to the stories told by the fur trader and the old lady, Alice really couldn't believe that there was such a thing in the world.

The old lady sitting in front of the hotel knitting a sweater didn't know what she saw. She was suddenly frightened, threw away the sweater in her hand, ran into the house and closed the door.

Hullington and Alice didn't understand what happened, but the furrier seemed to have guessed something. He didn't even eat breakfast, took a piece of cake and hurried upstairs.

Hullington asked: "What's wrong, grandma, what happened?"

"The officers and soldiers are here, the soldiers escorting the prisoners are here." The old lady said in a panic: "Hurry up... Hurry up and hide upstairs. Don't make any sound."

"Soldiers escorting prisoners?" Alice looked at Hurlington, remembering what happened yesterday.

‘Bang bang bang bang…’ There was a hard knock on the door.

The old lady pushed Alice and Hullington upstairs: "You guys go up quickly, these people are very difficult to mess with."

"But……"

"Stop talking, let's go upstairs first." Hullington said softly.

"Open the door, open the door, is there anyone?" came the impatient temper of the soldiers outside the door.

"I remember this is a hotel? You can't go out so early, right? It's only around eight o'clock now." Another soldier said.

"Damn it, don't worry about it. Just kick the door open and go find something to eat first."

With a bang, the door of the hotel was kicked to pieces by the soldiers. Four or five soldiers with swords and guns walked in: "There is obviously someone there. Old lady, we have been calling for so long, why don't you open the door?"

Are you deliberately shutting us out and not letting us in to eat?"

The old lady was frightened: "No, no, no. I'm old, I..."

"What am I? Damn it, get us something to eat quickly. Treat us with good wine and meat." The soldier walked up to the table where Bing Zhixie was sitting and waved the plates and bowls on the table, throwing them all to the ground.

Broken.

The old lady had no choice but to run into the kitchen to get food for them. After a while, she came out with pickles, miso soup, dried salted fish and some fruits.

When the soldiers saw it, they immediately became angry. They slapped the table and shouted: "Where's the wine? Where's the meat? You dare to play tricks on the military master, don't you, stinky old woman?" They slapped the old woman with her backhand, so that her mouth was full of blood and she fell.

I lay on the ground for a long time and couldn't get up.

When Alice saw her hiding in the stairwell, she was so angry that she rolled up her sleeves and rushed down.

Fortunately, Hullington saw the opportunity quickly, covered Alice's mouth, and whispered: "Hey, what are you doing? You forgot, Bing Zhixie has always told you not to cause trouble."

Alice bit off Hullington's hand and whispered, "Look at these people, they are so disgusting."

"Don't cause trouble, your master said." Hughington emphasized again.

Alice had no choice but to resist the urge and continued to hide in the stairwell and look outside.

The old lady finally got up, and two old yellow teeth fell out of her mouth. She endured the pain and said: "I'm sorry, soldiers, I...I haven't gone out to buy groceries yet. I only have these things to eat at home."

"What bad luck." A soldier said dissatisfiedly, then thought for a while and said: "No, how can we escort the prisoners without eating meat or drinking alcohol, how can we protect you old losers and maintain social order? Go out now and buy us some

Here comes the beef, sausage and wine. If you can’t buy them, I will destroy your store. Go quickly!”

"Yes, yes." The old lady responded solemnly, touched the money in her pocket, and went out to buy meat.

The five soldiers had no choice but to eat some dried salted fish and drink some soup.

"Are we going too far?" A soldier felt a little uneasy.

"What's there to be uneasy about?" Another soldier said nonchalantly: "Humph, these old immortals won't know how to respect us unless we teach them a lesson. Why are we working so hard and risking our lives to escort prisoners? Isn't it to maintain their safety?

, to maintain the stability and prosperity of our empire? We should eat some of their food."

In the attic, Alice said angrily: "They are so shameless. They beat the old lady and then said such words. As soldiers of the empire, we should truly protect the citizens. How can we hurt them and exploit them?"

I think this country will perish sooner or later, and even if it is not wiped out by other countries, ordinary people will overthrow this regime."

Hullington also agreed with Alice's idea: "A country like this will not last long. When those noble officials enjoy the oil and water squeezed from the people, the fate of destruction has quietly come to them. Don't be angry either.

Well, let’s get out of here quickly.”

"Okay." Alice said, "Let's jump out through the back window and find my master."

The two were about to leave when they suddenly heard the screams of an old woman coming from downstairs.

"Didn't she go buy some meat? Did she come back so soon?" Alice and Hullington came to the stairwell again.

"Smelly old woman, damn old woman, I asked you to buy meat, but you dared not to go and even lied to me that the meat was sold out. Don't you know how to go to another store to buy it when it's sold out? Sure enough, you didn't take us soldiers seriously.

, I will trample you to death, you old thing." A soldier wearing steel boots was stamping on the old woman who was lying on the ground, causing the old woman to scream and roll on the ground in pain.

"Stop it, you bastards!" Alice couldn't bear it any longer. She ran downstairs and rushed forward, pushing away the soldiers who were trampling on the old woman: "Are you still human after beating an old woman like this?"

"Why is there anyone else? Oh, I forgot, this is a hotel." The soldier who was pushed against the wall saw that it was a little girl, and walked forward with a sneer: "I told you to mind your own business." He raised his feet.

Kick him away.

‘Bang bang bang’

Before the steel-shoe soldier could kick out, three magic bullets accurately hit the soldier's breastplate, knocking him away again.

Hurlington leaped into the air and said, "I can't stand it anymore. You soldiers are worse than animals."

The four soldiers who were still drinking soup and watching the show stood up and pulled out their swords and staffs from their waists.

"Damn it, kill them!" The soldier who was knocked down by the magic bullet jumped up from the ground, fired a burst of light from his hands, and summoned a flaming ball to explode.

Needless to say, the magical sword light has already struck Alice and Hughington.

"Force field shield." Hughington in the air was already prepared. Before the soldiers could use their moves, a force field magic wall without attributes was already blocking Alice and him: "You

Take the old lady and escape first, leave this place to me."

Alice helped the old lady up: "How are you? Can you leave?"

The old woman's face was distorted with pain and she was speechless.

Alice had no choice but to pick her up and run to the second floor.

"Come on, kill this kid first." The first soldier jumped in the air, raised his saber and slashed at Hullington head-on, and the others swarmed over.

Hurlington used magic while hiding: "I am also a yellow-robed magician, how can I be defeated by you little minions?" He fell to the ground and hit a lightning bolt with one hand, sneaking up on him.

The lightning strike bounced off and hit another swordsman.

The swordsman's armor didn't seem to be very good. The electric shock hit his metal armor and immediately knocked him to the ground.

"Magic rebounds! It's a magician of the 'no' system." A soldier shouted.

Hurlington smiled: "Ha, you have good eyesight." He charged up power again with one hand: "Demon Breath Flame!" Blue magic flames spurted out from his palm.
