Chapter 266: Visitors from Mount Hyjal

A tall and burly male Kaldorei wearing a feather-woven cloak strode in front of everyone. He had deep-set eye sockets and a thick green grass-like beard.

"Meet the Archdruid."

Facing this person who walked in, everyone except Tyrande, Grashina, Shandris and others saluted him.

Tyrande was greatly troubled. The intruder was none other than her husband's disciple: Archdruid Fandral Staghelm.

Staghelm is Malfurion's most outstanding disciple, and his relationship with Malfurion is not like a normal master-student relationship, but more like a partnership of equals.

Now that Malfurion is asleep due to exploring the Emerald Dream, Staghelm is the highest-ranking druid in the Cenarion Circle, and Staghelm always has his own ideas on how to lead the night elves.

This made Tyrande very distressed. In her opinion, Fandral Staghelm had a poor sense of proportion and did not position himself correctly. Even if Staghelm succeeded Malfurion in taking charge of the Cenarion Circle, that would only be the end of the world.

Just the leader of the druids.

The only one who can truly lead all night elves is the Sisterhood of Elune, and she, Tyrande, is the supreme leader of the night elves.

"Arch Druid Staghelm, I can forgive you for breaking in without asking for permission. But you must explain why you want to remove a Sentinel General?"

Staghelm's chin raised slightly, he was always so unruly even in front of Malfurion.

"Because Shandris Feathermoon has made a huge dereliction of duty. I think you all know how important the south of Kalimdor is, but now there is a group of ignorant guys playing stupid kingdom games there!

If because of their recklessness, the seal in the southern part of the continent is loosened and a disaster occurs, will they still have to wait for us to solve it?

Not only did Shandris Feathermoon not realize the seriousness of the problem, but she was also confused by the mortals there. How can such a dereliction of duty qualify her to serve as Sentinel General?!"

Fandral Staghelm spoke plausibly, and Shandris' face turned red with anger. She wanted to say something, but Staghelm took out a letter from his arms and raised it high above his head.

"This is the latest report from the sentinel troops in Feralas. They discovered that a group of strange guys have crossed Thousand Needles and are setting up a camp in Feralas!

Now the evidence is conclusive, the gang of guys who occupied Tanaris are a group of saboteurs! Even the dignified Sentinel General, despite having close contact with them one after another, failed to see clearly the true nature of that group of bad elements."

Shandris really couldn't bear it anymore, and she looked at Staghelm angrily.

"Arch Druid, how could you intercept and watch the Sentinel Force's report privately?"

Shandris then turned to look at Tyrande.

"Mindo, I assure you that I will never neglect my duties. I disagree with the Archdruid's conjecture. If I neglect my duties in any way, I will voluntarily resign from the post of Sentinel General..."

Shandris continued to speak, but Tyrande stopped her.

"Shit Helmet, you really shocked me. What makes you act as casually as breathing and drinking water when you overstep your authority? I don't understand, what makes you disrespect me so much? You don't even want to

Call me High Priest."

Upon hearing Tyrande's words, Staghelm's expression suddenly froze. He and Tyrande looked at each other for a few seconds before taking a deep breath and speaking.

"High Priest, I don't mean to disrespect you. I'm just concerned about the problems in the south. You also know how much pain the Battle of Quicksand a thousand years ago caused us."

When it came to this matter, Tyrande couldn't say anything else. She sighed softly and her tone softened.

"Please believe that I attach the same importance to the issue of insect-men as you do, so I will send Lingfeng to go with you this time."

Staghelm's face looked much better when he heard Tyrande mention Grashina Spiritwind.

Grashina is an expert on the Zerg Silithid. Her participation in this operation can indeed prove that Tyrande has not ignored the Zerg problem.

It was also Staghelm's character that was too reckless. When he entered the temple, he only heard Shandris's speech but not Tyrande's appointment.

Finally, after pondering for a while, Staghelm took the initiative to recommend himself to Tyrande. He also wanted to accompany Shandris and Spiritwind to participate in this operation.

Tyrande finally agreed to Staghelm's request for unknown reasons. At this point, Shandris could only accept the reality.

After leaving the temple, Yuyue made some preparations in reality, and then replied to a letter to the sentry troops in Feralas.

After doing this, Shandris met up with Spiritwind and Staghelm under Nordrassil. The three of them led the mission. In addition to them, there was also a team of five sentries, three priests and two druids.

A ten-man team composed of Rui.

A group of people walked from Nordrassil to the Temple of Aviana in the middle of Mount Hyjal. Aviana, the great wilderness demigod mother of flying spirits, has magical power to send them directly to the foot of Mount Hyjal.

A soft purple light curtain came over, and the team had appeared in the Ashen Valley. After receiving the Hippogryph from the flight controller, everyone flew towards Tanaris in the southern part of the continent.

When passing through the Barrens, everyone saw the devastated Ratchet City. Night elves did not like goblins, so no one commented on it.

Soon they flew over Dustwallow Marsh again, and from the air they saw the confrontation between Orcaz Island and Theramore Island.

"Hmph, the war that broke out to compete for profits has actually destroyed nature to such an extent. That is to say, in a place like Dustwallow Swamp, if we were in Ashenvale or Felwood, we would definitely make these guys pay a heavy price!"

Staghelm sat on the hippogryph and sneered, but gave up when no one agreed.

After flying over the Dustwallow Swamp, they entered the Shining Plains. After arriving here, it was already quite prosperous. There were resistance camps on the Shining Highlands, five huge elevators connecting the highlands and the salt plains, mining sites and quarries.

Fields, racetracks and proving grounds...

Even the shining plains that were considered desolate on the outskirts of the Hanhai Protectorate surprised the night elves who saw them for the first time.

Fandral Staghelm lifted the brim of his hood with his fingers and looked at Shandris with a gesture.

"The capital of the Hanhai Protector is not in Tanaris? What is the situation here?"

Shandis nodded and said.

"Yes, the Hanhai Protectorate has two cities and a port in Tanaris. This is indeed just the suburb of the Hanhai Protectorate, and its status is roughly equivalent to our Ashenvale."

Staghelm didn't like Shandris's metaphor very much. Just when he was about to say something else, the corner of his eye suddenly caught sight of a dark shadow quickly passing by their team!

"An enemy?!"

Staghelm screamed in surprise, and then the entire team immediately turned around to look for the black shadow just now.

Thanks to the superb skills of everyone in the team riding hippogryphs, otherwise the act of suddenly turning in the air would be quite dangerous.

Soon, everyone spotted the shadow that flew past them just now.

It was a man riding a flying animal, flying through the air at extremely fast speeds.

The man, along with the animals beneath him, drew a huge arc in the air, and finally landed in the flight test site on the Shining Plains.

"boom!!!"

The manticore's four furry claws landed on the ground, and it kicked up in displeasure, trying to push Li De off its back.

It was obvious that it was not used to being a flying mount, but Li De pressed his hand heavily on its back, using strong force to silence it.

In the end, the arrogant manticore had no choice but to appoint him and expressed his complete surrender to Li De.

Li De got off the Manticore, and a circle of people gathered around him to ask how he felt about flying. Li De gave Tavish Stormpike a thumbs-up gesture.

"This guy is so powerful! He flies faster than a griffin! But his weight-bearing ability is not very good! No wonder we named this guy 'Wind Rider'."

When Li De said this, he had a bright smile on his face.

But then he remembered that there were still a group of guests looking at him in the sky, and Li De turned to wave to Shandis who was still sitting on the hippogryph.
