Chapter 66 The Battle of Quel'Thalas

East Weald is the nurturing land of the Kingdom of Lordaeron. The vast fertile fields support the prosperous town of Stratholme, not to mention the Light's Hope Chapel, a historical place of special significance.

If the name East Weald seems unfamiliar, in the future it will be given a tragic and terrifying name: Plaguelands.

The land of despair in the future is still the land of plenty. The war taking place north of here is really a headache for Terenas. It is only the high elves involved that make the king appear cautious.

Now that Zandalari promised to be able to stop the Amani trolls and urge a truce between the two sides, Terenas was of course happy to see this happen and sent his own envoy, led by Antonidas, to Quel'Thalas.

But when the Zandalari team set off, Terenas discovered a detail: there were actually several human officers mixed in among the Zandalari soldiers.

Terenas had always thought that the humans accompanying the mission were from Kul Tiras, but now it seems that is not the case at all.

Strangely, he had no choice but to go to Dai Lin to clarify his doubts, and then he learned from the other party that between Zandalari and the Alliance, there was an officer named Li De from the Stormwind Kingdom.

However, after roughly understanding the situation, Terenas did not pay much attention to Li De. He was just a junior officer. Although his actions of caring about his motherland were admirable, they seemed insignificant to the overall situation.

The team moved into the East Weald region. As soon as they arrived near Darrow County in the south, they could already feel the strong smell of war. The local sheriff was also spontaneously organizing the people to guard against trolls that might come from the east.

The sheriff guarding here is called Joseph Redpath, a young man who is less than twenty years old. During the encounter with the mediation team, there was almost a misunderstanding, thanks to the intervention of Antonidas and others.

Although Joseph still couldn't accept the fact that the trolls had become allies, fortunately, the team only stayed in Darrow County for half an hour before leaving.

"It looks like we need to strengthen our defenses. I don't believe these trolls."

Joseph whispered something in a low voice to mobilize more people to cut down trees and build horses, and at the same time dig deeper trenches. Recently, Joseph had just successfully confessed his love to his lover. If there are no problems, maybe they can get married next year. Joseph swore

To protect your own good life.

To the north of the East Weald region, separated only by a mountain is the current main battlefield between elves and trolls: South Yonge Forest.

Eversong Forest is divided into north and south parts. North Eversong is controlled by the high elves. Its official name is Quel'Thalas. Silvermoon City, the capital of the high elves, is also located here.

Nanyonge is mainly controlled by the Amani trolls. In the troll language, they prefer to call it Zul'Aman, which generally refers to the great Zul'Aman region. It was named because of the city of Zul'Aman here.

In the early stage of gaining support from the orcs, the trolls' offensive was very fierce. The warlock Gul'dan helped the trolls, destroying the rune stones all over the Northern Yonge Forest, breaking through the magic barrier of the elves, and going deep into Quel'Thala

Inside.

This caused the elves who were caught off guard to suffer a great loss, and many civilians died in the indiscriminate killing of innocent people by trolls and orcs.

In the later stages of the war, Orgrim, who was eager for quick success, couldn't wait to break Silvermoon City. He took some of the orc troops away and moved to the southwest to attack Lordaeron.

Shortly after Orgrim led his troops away, Gul'dan, who had always harbored dissident intentions, finally betrayed the Horde and left the battlefield of Quel'Thalas with the Stormrage Clan and the Twilight's Hammer Clan. The remaining orcs

: The Dragonmaw Clan was concerned about Orgrim, and also sent some people to catch up with Orgrim to report this situation.

In this way, the orcs left one after another, causing the trolls to fight against the high elves alone on the battlefield of Quel'Thalas. How could the trolls, who had lost their strong foreign aid, resist the already angry elves?

Fight back?

The high elves rushed out of Silvermoon City and poured hateful magic on the trolls. In less than a week, more than 40% of the 30,000 forest trolls organized by Zuljin were lost.

And the whole front was routed back to the South Yonge Forest, which is the Zul'Aman area.

Although he suffered heavy losses on the frontal battlefield, Warlord Zuljin did not lose heart. Because he knew that if he was determined, he would definitely be able to win the final victory with the forest trolls ten times the population of the high elves.

In the north of the Kingdom Continent, there are millions of forest trolls, including the Amani Tribe, the Fire Tree Tribe, the Rotten Moss Tribe, the Maltooth Tribe, the Burning Thorn Tribe, the Evil Branch Tribe and the Deadwood Tribe. Of course, Zuljin prefers to call them collectively.

For Amani Troll.

In Zuljin's view, these tribes originally belonged to the powerful Amani Empire. However, after the Great Schism and the decline of the Amani Empire, these tribes also began to go their own way.

What Zuljin has to do is to reunite these tribes. He is 170 years old this year. When he was 50 years old, he had already become a famous genius of the Amani tribe.

Later, he also traveled across the ocean to Zandalar, where he learned how to use the power of Loa more skillfully. After returning to Zul'Aman from Zandalar, he overthrew the previous leader of Zul'Aman and became the leader of Zul'Aman.

Warlord of Oman.

But just achieving this level would not satisfy Zul'jin.

In the next 100 years, Zuljin measured all the land in the northern part of the kingdom's continent with his feet, went deep into every forest troll tribe, and used his strength to make each tribe recognize his power.

However, even so, it is difficult for other tribes to recognize Zul'jin's ideas. Many tribes have accepted the decline of the Amani Empire.

Humans and high elves, these two enemies are too powerful. In history, it was their alliance that defeated all the Amani.

Almost no tribe except the Amani tribe believes that they can regain their former glory and take back the Northern Yonge Forest, the lands that originally belonged to the trolls.

In order to inspire the confidence of other tribes, Zul'jin has never returned to Zul'Aman. Instead, he has led the local forest trolls in East Wilder, the Hinterlands, the Hillblade Hills and other places to challenge other races.

A terrorist attack was launched.

It is precisely because of this that Zul'jin became a wanted target in various countries, and was eventually arrested and imprisoned in Durnholde Prison. It was not until Orgrim led his troops to attack Hillsbrad Foothills that he was finally arrested and imprisoned in Durnholde Prison.

Zul'jin was rescued from prison.

During the years when Zul'jin was imprisoned, his story began to spread among various tribes, and Zul'jin became the hero of all forest trolls. The forest trolls scattered all over the place seemed to finally have their own.

Hope for reunification for the Amani trolls.

Now Zuljin and the orcs are attacking Quel'Thalas, just to give the forest trolls one last encouragement in terms of courage.

To attack Quel'Thalas, the troll troops organized by Zuljin only came from the Amani tribe, and did not include the southern tribes.

The current situation on the battlefield seems unfavorable, but it also proves that Quel'Thalas's indestructible magic barrier can be destroyed. It's just the Amani tribe that forced the high elves to deal with it with all their strength.

At present, the Amani tribe has retreated to the Zul'Aman line. Relying on the defenses built in the past, it can maintain the balance on the battlefield. At this time, as long as Zul'jin mobilizes the southern tribes, they will definitely be able to defeat the high elves and push the battlefield back to the north.

Eversong Forest!

Leave the command of the frontal battlefield to the adjutant: the magic priest Malakas. Zuljin will lead 2,000 people southward. If everything goes well, he will bring back tens of thousands of troops to completely destroy the high elves!

Zuljin's idea was good, but unfortunately he underestimated the high elves as an opponent.

The enemy of Amani is the immortal species that has a longer lifespan than the trolls. The elf king Anasteria Sunstrider is also a king who has been in power for nearly a thousand years.

One advantage of being in power for a long time is that once a policy is formulated, it can be implemented for a long time. Zul'jin's rise has only lasted for more than a hundred years, and Silvermoon City, which has long been monitoring the movements of trolls, has long noticed Zul'jin.

If Gul'dan had not used fel magic to destroy the rune stones in the early stages of the war, the high elves would never have been in such a mess.

To put it simply, the high elves wished they knew Zul'jin better than Zul'jin himself. They had long predicted Zul'jin's move south to organize an army.

For this reason, the high elves have wedged a military station called Taquilin at the southernmost point of Nanyonge Forest. Anasteria sent ranger general Halduron Brightwing to lead 1,000 rangers, ready to surround them at any time.

Damn Zuljin!

The two sides started fighting near Taquilin, and just when the battle was about to reach its climax, a mediation group from Lordaeron arrived.
