Chapter 157 The Great Sage: Master, the Bodhisattva is in a hurry

Under the golden light, the demonic path was curled up on the ground, constantly changing between its true form, incarnation, and body. As soon as Fahai finished speaking, the demonic path also showed its original shape——

It has a ferocious appearance, covered in indigo, its four claws are like frost, its ears are pulled back, and a mouth of fangs is exposed. It is a lion king with green fur and red eyes.

"Oops! It's actually a green lion!"

The kings and ministers of the Wuji Kingdom were frightened to death when they saw this kind of demon. Especially the civil and military officials who had served under this demon for the past three years were even more confused, depressed and ashamed of their father.

The Great Sage saw that after Master shouted, no gods or Buddhas appeared in the sky. He raised the iron rod, jumped to the side of the green-haired lion, and shouted: "This beast turned into a spirit and usurped the throne. It deserves death, Master."

..Wait until the disciples save him!"

After the Great Sage said this, the golden cudgel raised high in his hand hit the green-haired lion on the head.

Swish——

The sound of the iron rod stirred up the wind, and it was as powerful as a giant, as if carrying the power of the sinking moon, it was trying to bring down all the stars in the nine heavens.

call--

The wind blows.

The green-haired lion closed his eyes and sat there as if resigned to his fate, waiting for death. If the stick was smashed down, his head would burst open and his blood would splatter.

boom--

A bang!

Vibration vibrates.

Just when everyone was retreating back one by one, reaching out to cover their faces with their robes, they all opened their eyes wide through the gap, holding their breath and carefully watching the end of the green-haired lion.

Huchi——Huchi——

I could only hear the sound of the green-haired lion breathing heavily.

Everyone quickly took a closer look, and it turned out that the Great Sage's stick was hanging on the top of its head at the critical moment, but did not actually hit it.

Huchi, wheeze——

After two more rough gasps.

All, all, all—

But there was a loud beat of heart coming from the green-haired lion, like the Dengwen drum outside the Meridian Gate. His chest and abdomen were rising and falling suddenly, and suddenly he stopped suddenly - this green-haired lion actually had two legs.

He rolled his eyes and passed out.

Seeing this, the Great Sage moved back first, and then poked it with a stick from a distance. Seeing that it had no reaction, the Great Sage scratched his head and said: "Master..."

Before the Great Sage could say anything, Bajie burst into laughter, "Hey! Master, look... the senior brother scared this green-skinned lion to death."

"Go, go, go, I just fainted, not dead yet." The great sage rolled the golden cudgel in his arms, slapped Bajie a few times with his hands, took two steps back and came to the master's side, and said calmly

He said in a voice: "Master, disciple, the people behind the scenes don't show up... Are you going to give up this blue lion?"

"It's unreasonable for him to show up, so how can he have any dignity?" Bajie snorted, "Maybe he's afraid that Master will even save him."

"Bajie." Fahai still glanced at Bajie and motioned for him to restrain himself, "Be careful what you say."

cough--

Bajie coughed lightly and said nothing.

"Amitabha!"

At this moment, I saw a ragged walking monk walking in front of the palace gate. He came barefoot, with his hands clasped together. His expression seemed pious and humble, but at first glance... there was something indescribable.

Chuchen was proud and angry.

Fa Hai rotated his Dharma eyes to see his true body, and the great sage on the side also looked at him with his fiery eyes and golden eyes. He wanted to see the monk's heels, but everywhere he saw Buddhas and lotus flowers... it was the person who came here who deliberately used his supernatural powers.

Cover it up and prevent them from seeing his origin.

However, the Great Sage has also determined that the Buddha's light on the green-haired lion is the same as that of the monk in front of him.

Humph, I, Lao Sun, also said that you really won’t come out!

Just when the Great Sage wanted to step forward and ask for a clear answer, the Lord of the Wuji Kingdom stepped forward quickly and came to Master Tripitaka with a very alert look on his face, "Holy Monk, he is the alms monk outside the city back then!"

In fact, without him having to say anything, Fahai and the Great Sage also guessed it.

The monk walked all the way to the crowd, without looking at the unconscious blue-haired lion, or paying attention to Fahai and the Great Sage. Instead, he looked at the black-rooster king and said with a smile: "It's been a long time, Your Majesty."

"Who are you?" The king said calmly. After all, he was worried about the other party's identity, and there was caution in his eyes.

"The poor monk is the envoy of Lingshan Mountain, and he specially invited His Majesty to Lingshan Mountain to prove the true fruit of Vajra Arhat."

The king of the country did not answer his words and only looked at Master Tripitaka.

Fa Hai took a closer look and suddenly said: "Bodhisattva, why don't you show your true body and speak."

"The true body and the false body are both my body." The monk looked at Tripitaka, "How do you know that the Bodhisattva's form is the true body, but this body is fake?"

"Haha." Fahai curled his lips and smiled after hearing this, "The Bodhisattva's words are reasonable, and the young monk has learned his lesson."

There is no problem with this, but when everyone hears it, they always feel that it does not mean that... After careful consideration, it turns out to be somewhat ironic.

The Great Sage has always had a close connection with the Master. When he saw that the Master was not willing to waste words, he took the initiative to greet him and said, "I think the Bodhisattva is afraid of showing his true identity, but spreads the reputation of being petty. It will be difficult for him to serve the Buddha in the future, but he will get

Go and keep company with the Jade Emperor."

The Great Sage is very good at speaking out, and some unpleasant words come out of his mouth basically.

Now the word "Bodhisattva" spoken by his master, coupled with the green lion on the ground, basically determines the identity of this monk. He is Manjushri Bodhisattva, who is also known as the three great masters of Buddhism along with Guanyin Bodhisattva.

He does not respect Guanyin Bodhisattva as much, and he has never seen Manjushri Bodhisattva as powerful, so he is not afraid of him.

"You're such a slutty monkey, you have such sharp teeth and a sharp mouth."

"Don't dare, don't dare, the Bodhisattva is also very sharp-tongued."

"You are such a slutty monkey. You spread rumors and cause trouble without knowing the reason. Who taught you?"

"You are a Bodhisattva who begs alms and asks for food but is picky about the poor and loves the rich. This is the style of Lingshan."

"Monkey is rude!"

"Master, Bodhisattva is in a hurry——"

"Hahahaha." Manjushri Bodhisattva laughed out loud. It seemed that he did not take the words of the great sage to heart. He looked calm and calm again. He looked at the king: "Six years ago, you didn't

I know the poor monk, now the poor monk is coming again to go to the Western Paradise, can you accept it?"

"Oh." The Bodhisattva asked: "Everyone in the world is heading towards the True Enlightenment, but you don't make the journey twice. Is there a reason?"

"The little king can't bear to leave the people of this country."

"If it were anyone else, the poor monk would say that he can't let go of his wealth and inheritance in this world... But when you say this, the poor monk also believes it." The Bodhisattva said with a compassionate look: "Actually, six years ago, the Buddha gave

When the poor monk came to ferry you, I knew you would definitely not go... so I deliberately made things difficult for you."

Poof——

Bajie couldn't hold it back and laughed out loud.

The Great Sage said from the side: "Bajie, why are you laughing?"

"I'm laughing at this Bodhisattva who doesn't know how to make up lies... Since you saw that they weren't going, why did you rush to embarrass them? They kindly gave you fast food, but you still didn't eat it... Bodhisattva, you're not an old pig."

, is also your temporary excuse...it is really clumsy and tight."

The Great Sage also went to challenge the Bodhisattva: "Maybe there is any reason why the Bodhisattva has not told me... Bodhisattva, you might as well tell me why you came to seek alms but refused to eat the food given by the Lord of the Kingdom?"

The Bodhisattva did not panic at all. He only smiled and said: "The poor monk wants to see if his conduct is consistent."

"Ha." The Great Sage sneered, "The king himself ate the food you didn't eat. What do you say to me?"

"Knowing that food is the first priority for the people, he is a leader who governs simply and loves the people."

At this time, Fahai asked him: "Since you know that he is a good emperor, why don't you retreat? Instead, you keep making things difficult for him?"

"The poor monk will test the Dharma with his own body and see how his Dharma goes."

"Oh, what did you see again?"

"Quite harsh."

Fahai frowned when he heard this.

"Ha-" the Great Sage sneered again: "Don't you deserve this?"

"So when he took the poor monk into the river, he did not resist, and he suffered for three days."

When Fa Hai heard this, his expression relaxed again. Immortal Buddhas are immortal Buddhas after all. They cannot empathize with ordinary people like him. Moreover, Manjushri Bodhisattva, Guanyin, and Samantabhadra are also different. The latter two Bodhisattvas are also different.

They have been in the human world for a long time and have many incarnations to give alms in the human world.

As for Manjushri Bodhisattva... he has always been in front of the Buddha, also known as Great Wisdom... He has always given guidance to his disciples in order to save all sentient beings. However, he does not have that many manifestations in the mortal world.

Manjushri Bodhisattva is said to be the best in Buddhism in terms of wisdom and eloquence. From the moment Fahai recognized his identity, he never thought of being able to defeat him in Buddhist eloquence. At this moment, it was just the great sage using his sharp words to take advantage of him.

But now, when Fa Hai heard what he said, he had a rogue thought in his mind. It was normal for him to be unable to argue with serious Buddhist rituals, but... he was a human being first, and then a monk.

Therefore, he called the Lord of the Kingdom and said: "Your Majesty, it is your duty to thank Bodhisattva for showing mercy."

The king was in a daze, a little at a loss for a moment. He always felt that Master Tripitaka did not mean what he said, but he still stepped forward, stretched his hands to his chest, and was about to bow down.

..but he saw the "Bodhisattva" in front of him ducking away.

"Amitabha." Manjusri Bodhisattva dodged and shouted the Buddha's name at the same time, avoiding the king of the country.

The last time when I had a hard time with Old Lishan as their master and disciple, I knew that Master Tripitaka was very powerful in Buddhist debate, so I had some forebodings when I came here this time, but unexpectedly I still underestimated him.

As expected of Jin Chanzi, he seemed to be silent, but when he spoke, it was the key point, "Master Tripitaka may have misunderstood."

Fa Hai looked into Manjushri Bodhisattva's eyes and said, "Why, Bodhisattva forgives him for the crime of disrespect, but he still doesn't deserve his thanks?"

"When the poor monk reincarnated, he who did not know was not guilty. Since he was not guilty, how could he be disrespectful?"

The Great Sage took the opportunity to shout from the side: "The true body and the incarnation are all Bodhisattvas, all are Bodhisattvas——"

Bodhisattva responded: "Although I am myself, people don't know me."

The Great Sage rolled his eyes and said, "He doesn't know Bodhisattva, but you also said that you are the envoy of Lingshan. This king ignores Lingshan and should be punished."

The Bodhisattva said: "Although I have said something, he does not believe it and I have not proven it. It is my fault."

Fa Hai nodded at this time and said: "If it is said this way, it is not wrong for the king to incarnate the Bodhisattva into the water for three days."

"Of course there is nothing wrong with it." Manjushri Bodhisattva nodded in agreement.

Fahai Tuqiong offered his dagger: "If there is nothing wrong, why did the Bodhisattva cut off his heavenly clouds and water, and then sent this green-haired lion to push him into the well and soak him for three years?"

The Bodhisattva laughed when he heard the words.
