Chapter 159 I am willing to die for Your Majesty!

Manjushri Bodhisattva's voice was very soft, so soft that only Fahai could hear it clearly.

After he said this, he took a step back and looked at Master Tripitaka in front of him, wanting to see how his expression would change.

"Namo Amitabha."

He just saw Fa Hai chant the Buddha's name softly, and the Buddha's anger that was about to come out suddenly restrained itself. The swollen immortal mana continued to condense and enveloped his chest and abdomen, and then

Go straight to the spiritual platform.

Swish——

At this moment, Manjushri Bodhisattva seemed to see a broken body appearing behind Fahai's head, and it disappeared in a flash.

"The young monk dares to ask again, but the Buddha himself said that the Bodhisattva should bring down the drought for two years?" Fahai looked directly into the eyes of Manjushri Bodhisattva. He maintained this rare reason and wanted to ask clearly.

Manjushri Bodhisattva's voice was small, but the voice of Dharma Sea was loud, and everyone present could hear it. Seeing everyone's eyes coming together, Manjushri Bodhisattva felt a little frustrated. Although this golden cicada tenth life wheel still has an upright temperament,

But I am a little less impulsive and a little more restrained than before.

Otherwise, when he heard his words just now, he should have been confused. How could he still be in such a confrontation at this moment?

"Please ask Bodhisattva to clarify my doubts." Fahai asked further.

Manjushri Bodhisattva just made a few seals on his hand, and then fell silent, with no intention of answering Fahai directly.

"Why don't you speak up, Bodhisattva?" Fa Hai saw the right and wrong hidden in Manjushri Bodhisattva's hands, and his face became increasingly unkind. He immediately said: "The young monk is not very talented and has little knowledge. He cannot understand the true meaning of the Bodhisattva's seal... If the Bodhisattva is in trouble, I will be enlightened."

"The disciple is here."

The great sage hurriedly stepped forward to listen to the order.

"Go to Lingshan Mountain quickly to meet the Tathagata. There is no need to say anything else. I just want to ask about the two-year drought..."

"Amitabha." Before Fahai could finish his words, Manjushri Bodhisattva finally interrupted with a Buddha's name. He slowly said: "The Tathagata decreed that the king of the country should be drowned in a well by a blue lion to survive the three-year flood.

The poor monk was responsible for the cause and effect in three days. The drought in those two years was the poor monk's own fault."

In fact, after listening to Manjushri Bodhisattva's words, Fa Hai did not feel relieved.

Is the matter of bringing about misfortune really that important as the Buddha said?

He just subconsciously wanted to find an excuse to defend the Buddha... In other words, deep down in his heart, he didn't want to see the Buddha he worshiped sincerely like this.

Along the way, Fahai felt that the Buddha today was becoming less and less like the Buddha he worshiped sincerely when he first entered Buddhism.

Or could it be said that the Buddha that I sincerely worship was not the Lingshan Buddha from the beginning?

The Buddha said to practice compassion.

But whether the Buddha or Manjushri Bodhisattva did what they did in the Wuji Kingdom, do the ordinary people in this country really count it as compassion?

What would have happened if the person who came to ferry the King of Wuji Kingdom back then was not Manjushri Bodhisattva but Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva?

I think that Guanyin Bodhisattva's great kindness will definitely be moved by the Wuji King's love for the people and diligent government. Perhaps he will simply give up his intention of crossing over to the west and let him govern the country and the people here. Only then will Fahai succeed.

Suddenly something became clear in my heart. It turns out that it's not just humans who are imperfect. Don't these immortals and Buddhas... also have their own personalities?

Fahai couldn't help but asked the Bodhisattva: "Since the Bodhisattva is called Great Wisdom, why did he do such an unwise thing?"

"Sanzang." Manjushri Bodhisattva simply replied to Fahai: "You asked me before what a human is, but now this poor monk asks you, do you know what an immortal is, what a god is, and what a Buddha is?"

Fa Hai thought for a while and said: "Those who achieve freedom are called immortals, those who lead the heavens are gods, and those who practice compassion are called Buddhas."

Manjushri Bodhisattva asked again: "What is compassion?"

Fahai replied: "Giving happiness and happiness to all living beings is compassion; rescuing all living beings from suffering is compassion."

"Amitabha." Manjushri Bodhisattva sighed softly and said: "There are so many people who know this, but how many people practice it?"

"Very few."

"You have traveled all the way to the west and met many people. It can be seen that the character of the king is worthy of a spiritual mountain."

Fahai had no objection to this: "Deserved."

"If he was rescued before, he would be nothing more than a vajra arhat. If he does not leave by me, he would be nothing more than a king. But I want him to go through such disasters and get out of trouble before he can carry out state affairs in the human world. He only needs to complete his path.

What will happen when the poor monk crosses him again?"

"What does the Bodhisattva mean by this?"

At this moment, Manjushri Bodhisattva said: "My name is Great Wisdom, and I teach the monks. This time, he will undergo hardships first, and then gain enlightenment. Once he transforms into the Lingshan Mountain, he can obtain the fruit of Bodhisattva... If he enters Buddhism with the fruit of Bodhisattva, he will receive the fruit of Bodhisattva."

The transformers are not limited to the people of this country. It can be said that blessings are in the ages and merit is in thousands of lives, and the whole country of Wuji can be transformed into his Buddha country. From then on, the subjects and people of this country can escape from suffering and achieve true bliss."

The words of Manjushri Bodhisattva only caused everyone in the audience to fall into silence, and many civil and military ministers had strange thoughts in their minds.

The Bodhisattva's words were too shocking, how could they keep their hearts from being disturbed?

Great skill lies in not doing anything; great wisdom lies in not worrying about anything.

Manjushri Bodhisattva's practice of great wisdom seems to be based on this truth, but Fahai could only hear a few implications from Manjushri Bodhisattva's words: I am doing this for your own good, and you should do as I say.

I also heard another level: I have big fists and I have the final say.

"The Bodhisattva's method of drawing cakes is quite profitable. In order to escape from it, he did not hesitate to promise a Bodhisattva." After all, the Great Sage was not a serious Buddhist, and he had no respect for Manjushri Bodhisattva...perhaps what he said

It made sense, but when he heard it, he felt uncomfortable all over.

Bajie also hummed and said: "Bodhisattva is too stingy, why not just promise a Buddha statue? Oh, now they want to demolish your Buddhist temple and smash your Buddha statues before you think of using this method to win people's hearts?"

"The Bodhisattva is a plan to kill the heart." Wu Jing also said at the side: "If such words are spread, it may cause an uproar in the country, and make the subjects blame Your Majesty, saying that he has cut off the opportunity of the people to be born in bliss.

.”

Little White Dragon couldn't help but said: "The Bodhisattva only said that he will be saved after his meritorious deeds are completed. Could it be that the Bodhisattva himself has the final say whether the merits are perfect or not? Who knows whether your statement is true or false?"

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! The words of several disciples of Master Tripitaka reached the ears of the ministers, causing them to become more commotion. After all, they are all living people, and they must have a bias. For example, this

Officials who were promoted under the false king Qing Shi in three years tended to be more inclined to Bodhisattvas.

The veteran ministers stood behind their Majesty without hesitation.

There are also some conservative centrists who do not want to get involved in such useless disputes. If they have the time, they might as well come up with some practical policies for the people and solve some difficult problems for the court.

As for who wins and who loses...it doesn't really matter.

At this time, Manjushri Bodhisattva seemed to be unreasonable and said to the leader of the country: "I can accept you as my disciple. You can join me in Lingshan Mountain. Once the government is in the hands of the prince, the poor monk will help you to prove it."

When you achieve the fruit of Bodhisattva, you can come and transform the people on your own."

Looking at Manjusri Bodhisattva who had finished all his good words, Fahai finally knew why he was said to be the best eloquent speaker in Buddhism, and why he always stayed with the Buddha and rarely went out for walks.

This is also a mouth that refuses to admit defeat. Things that are obviously unreasonable seem to be exactly the truth when heard from his mouth. Right and wrong are all between his lips and teeth.

By acting like this, it's easy to deal with the monarchs and ministers of the Wuji Kingdom, but it's hard to say what the consequences will be if you encounter a bad-tempered person...

After all, there are hidden dragons and crouching tigers in the Three Realms. Who knows what powerful characters will emerge?

The ruler of the country was determined at the moment. No matter how much Manjushri Bodhisattva said, he still insisted on not relaxing. "I won't bother Bodhisattva. Now that I have given my order, I will not worship immortals or Buddhas from now on."

It was Master Tripitaka here who made Manjushri Bodhisattva dare not use the Buddhist power to overpower others. Otherwise, it is a matter of two minds whether he would be able to stick to his mind. Fa Hai is also good at this method, but he has always used it with caution.

If you are on the wrong track and there is someone to save you, you will not use this method easily.

Fahai gave him a warning: "Aren't you afraid of offending all the immortals and Buddhas because of this? Then it will not be as simple as two years of drought and three years of soaking you in water."

The Great Sage also said at the side: "How can mortals like you compete with the methods of immortals and Buddhas? What if you bring trouble to the common people because you don't respect immortals and Buddhas?"

Bajie spread his hands and said: "Oh, it turns out you have to have a big fist to say something..."

Seeing this, Sha Wujing sighed softly and said: "If the immortals and Buddhas are so unrestrained, why go to Lingshan Mountain? I'm afraid there are no true scriptures to be found. Master, let's go back to Chang'an. Master, you can open the forum yourself and teach the Dharma."

Xiao Bailong shook off the spear in his hand and said in a cold voice: "Immortals and Buddhas have no limits, so I ask the master to make the decision. Second senior brother, do you think the fists of the master and senior brother are big?"

Bajie thought for a while and said: "I think there is a chance to speak, but...can he be bigger than the Jade Emperor Buddha?"

After listening to the words of their master and disciple, the king knew that he was telling himself how powerful they were, especially when he heard that if he asked the immortals and Buddhas to bring disasters, wouldn't it be the same for the common people... His previous lonely courage had almost disappeared.

To retreat.

Facing the bullies who oppressed the people, he dared to take up swords and guns;

In the face of cruel officials who exacted excessive taxes, he dared to point his sword at their heads;

In the face of a lewd and cruel tyrant, he can rise up——

He just wanted to let the people live a good life, but he never thought that the peaceful life he had worked so hard to achieve would be no match for the thoughts of immortals and Buddhas.

But now facing the Manjushri Bodhisattva in front of him, he was a little scared... He had fear in his heart... If he were alone, he would have nothing to worry about. But now he is not alone, and he is also carrying a country's subjects and people.

"Father!"

The young prince knelt down in front of his father at some unknown time and said: "My son is willing to be my father's pawn and test the swords of immortals and Buddhas. I am willing to use my blood to challenge the immortals and Buddhas, and to use my blood to let the people see the true nature of these immortals and Buddhas."

"

Wow——

All the military generals also prostrated themselves in front of the Lord of the Wuji Kingdom, and shouted in unison: "The last general is willing to die for your Majesty!"

Seeing that the military generals were one step ahead of them, the civil servants also put their random thoughts behind their minds at this moment, and shouted loudly: "I am willing to follow your Majesty to set things right."

All the civil and military officials knelt down, and the guards of the imperial army knelt down together with a group of internal servants, followed closely by the concubines and maids in the harem, shouting over and over again: "We are willing to follow your majesty!"

The sound got louder and louder, spreading from inside the palace to outside the palace. The people heard the shouting coming from the city. Although they didn't know why, they still knelt down and started shouting. At first, it was chaotic, one after another, but then it gradually turned into

In one piece, there is only one sentence left: "I am willing to die for Your Majesty!"

As for the Bodhisattva I worshiped just now... I have long forgotten about it.

The king's eyes were moist and his heart was moved. As the king of a country, what do you want?

Isn’t this the national sentiment?
