Chapter 34: Master actually wants to appoint a Bodhisattva

After listening to the little demon's words, the great sage turned around in his mind a few times, pondering the master's intention of arranging the little demon to wait for him here.

After a while, the Great Sage calmed down his emotions, showed an expression of disbelief, turned around and said to the Bodhisattva behind him: "Bodhisattva, it's not good! Master, he seems to have become the guest of the black bear!"

The Bodhisattva, who was walking slowly behind, took a step forward and seemed to shrink into an inch. He came to the little demon and the great sage in an instant and said, "Speak more clearly."

When the little demon saw that he was indeed a Bodhisattva, he quickly knelt down and kowtowed, "It is indeed the Great Sage Grandpa and the Great Merciful and Compassionate Guanyin Bodhisattva. The holy monk is preaching about Buddhism in the cave. I specially asked the little demon to welcome you two here."

The Bodhisattva frowned and asked, "Where is your king?"

The little demon was stunned. Seeing that the Bodhisattva asked seriously, he had to answer obediently: "So that the Bodhisattva can know that my king was originally a monk disguised as a demon. He showed his flaws today. Now he has been subdued and redeemed by the holy monk. Just now, the Yin Si

Two Yin gods with bull heads and horse faces came and took its soul to the underworld, saying that it had to go to the eighteen levels of hell, and only after paying off its sins could it enter reincarnation again."

Buddha:...

This golden cicada was too quick to attack. He lost a mountain guarding god for nothing.

At this point, the Bodhisattva can only suffer this humiliating loss.

And...why does this little demon look like he worships Sanzang?

After hearing this, the Great Sage felt very aggrieved. Ever since he learned that there was a black bear spirit in Black Wind Mountain, he had been eager to come and fight with him.

Although I can spar with my master at ordinary times, I can't use all my strength after all... Moreover, my master's magic power is still stronger than mine at this time. If there is a real fight with real swords and guns, I will really disappear.

He must be Master's opponent.

The master's progress in cultivation was so fast that he was shocked... When he was studying in Sanxing Cave, he had attracted the envy of many senior brothers with his extraordinary talent.

It lasted more than ten years, and the first seven years were spent doing some odd jobs... To put it bluntly, the time when I practiced seriously was only five or six years.

But in these five or six years, Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, was created.

And the master's talent seems to be even higher than his own.

Otherwise, how could he surpass himself in just a few months?

Although the master does not have any powerful supernatural powers, he wears a brocade cassock and holds two powerful magic weapons: a nine-ringed tin staff, which is enough to travel across the three realms.

well--

The Great Sage sighed deeply in his heart, in that case...what else do you want me as a disciple to do?

As he thought about it, he actually felt a little aggrieved.

The Bodhisattva noticed the change in Wukong's expression, and could probably guess what was going on in his mind. Seeing the depressed monkey, he felt a little more cheerful for some reason, and said to the little demon: "Lead the way.

"

...

Entered the Batu Caves.

The Great Sage and the Bodhisattva were seeing Master Tripitaka setting up a simple Zen platform. He was sitting cross-legged on the Zen platform, and the little demons were sitting under the Zen platform. He was seriously preaching about Buddhism on it and teaching it with all his heart;

Sit upright and listen carefully.

Seeing the great sage and the Bodhisattva entering the cave, Fa Hai recited the Buddha's name, stood up and saluted: "Amitabha, my disciple Tripitaka, pays homage to the Bodhisattva."

"No gift."

The Bodhisattva looked at this scene with great interest. She thought that Jin Chanzi was a man who loved killing. Not long ago, when he was in Wanku Mountain, he let two foxes go. Perhaps it was because of Yang Erlang's face.

Go... Or maybe he is afraid that the female fox fish will die and break the net; but now he is here preaching Buddhism to a group of little demons, which shows that he is indeed different from the past.

I think this must have been influenced by Tripitaka's compassionate nature.

"Master!" The Great Sage jumped onto the Zen platform and came to the Master. He seemed to be concerned, but in fact he was complaining: "Master, why did you come to this Batu Cave alone to take risks? You even pushed me away... If Master

If something unexpected happens, how will the disciple explain it?"

Fahai ignored the great sage's objections at all, but said to the little demon below: "You will follow the poor monk's previous instructions and make preparations separately."

"Follow the holy monk's decree."

The little demons dispersed, and Fahai invited the Bodhisattva to sit down.

"Inviting Bodhisattva to come here, there is actually something that requires Bodhisattva's help."

When the Bodhisattva saw that he had not yet "raised his disciples to investigate the crime," the monk actually asked him for help. He also felt a little curious in his heart, "This black wind monster has taken away the eighteenth level of hell, and there is only one left in this cave."

How can these little monsters be used by a poor monk?"

"Bodhisattva, please come with your disciples."

Fahai introduced the Bodhisattva and the Great Sage into the back hall. There were two corpses placed in the back hall, one was that of the black wind monster, and the other was that of a scholar in white.

"Hey." Wukong saw clearly with his fiery eyes: "Why is there still a white snake here?"

General Fa Hai told how he had entered the cave on purpose before, and when he was about to save all the evil spirits, he heard that the black bear spirit was going to invite friends to a "Buddha Clothing Party" on his birthday, and eat Tang Monk's meat together...

How to fight with the black bear spirit, how the little monsters dispersed to ask for help, etc., I first explained it clearly.

"The disciple just saved the black bear spirit and saw the white snake spirit enter the cave. It turns out that its home is closest to this mountain, so it came the fastest... The disciple couldn't let him go. He just wanted to catch it.

Then he lured other spirits to come to rescue him, but unexpectedly it didn't practice enough. Without a beating, the disciple couldn't stop it for a while... Maybe the nine-ringed tin staff was a sacred object of Buddhism. In short, if the staff was removed, it would die...

The disciple has no choice but to save its soul and send it to reincarnation in the underworld."

The great sage heard the master's words and turned around silently.

What the master said was reasonable, but he didn't believe a word of it, especially the sentence "The disciple was unable to stop his attack in time."

What a coincidence.

Bodhisattva doesn't believe it either.

It's just that Brother Monkey can't pretend. Bodhisattva is more self-restrained and his expression remains unchanged.

But neither of them saw the scene, so they could only listen to Sanzang's words.

"Amitabha." Fahai recited the Buddha's name and finally got to the point: "Bodhisattva disciples have a plan to liberate all the evil spirits in the Black Wind Mountain area and restore peace and stability to the world."

"What's the plan?"

"After the disciple redeemed the white snake, he sent a group of good-hearted little demons to inform the surrounding mountain demon kings, letting them know that the disciple had been captured by the black bear and the white snake, so there was no need for them to rush to rescue him.

...I’m just waiting to come tomorrow to enjoy the ‘Buddha Clothing Party’ and share the meat of Tang Monk.”

"But now that the black bear and the white snake have entered reincarnation, I am afraid that their heads and tails have been exposed... So the disciple boldly asked the Bodhisattva to make a transformation, and transformed himself into one with Wukong. For the time being, he can stabilize the demons that will come tomorrow and wait for those

The demons are all here, so I can catch them all in one fell swoop!"

hiss--

When Wukong heard the words, he took a deep breath and said in his heart: As expected of the master, his actions are extraordinary, such a big gesture... even the Bodhisattva wants to assign him.

The Bodhisattva finally changed his expression. Even plucking his hair is not enough to describe Tang Sanzang... With such scheming methods, he is too unlike a Buddhist.

The Bodhisattva thought for a moment and finally said slowly: "Good!"

That is Guanshiyin Bodhisattva. Any other person would not be able to have such a big heart.
