Chapter 364: The pure and the mixed are separated, and the distinction is clear; this old pig scares me to death...

What exactly is a compassionate heart?

Not to mention the ordinary human beings, even in the eyes of the ordinary little fairies, Master Tang Seng and his disciples are undoubtedly compassionate.

But for those demons who were transcended by their masters and disciples, it is obvious that the word compassion has nothing to do with their masters and disciples, especially those demons who were refined to death by the flames of the Great Sun Buddha and who were transcended by the scriptures of the Great Bible.

I don’t think their master and disciple have compassionate hearts.

And the latter is even worse.

In this world, it is impossible for everyone to get what they want, and half-satisfaction is enough.

Just like Xiao Bailong today, is he getting what he wants?

Being able to worship Master, follow Master all the way to the west, and listen to Master's teachings all the time, what else is there to be dissatisfied about?

But in fact, everyone knows very well that Xiao Bailong has been yearning to be tonsured by his master for more than ten years, but he has not yet achieved his wish.

In the past, Xiao Bailong would beg his master several times from time to time, but now he doesn't bother to mention it. He only occasionally washes his hair deliberately in front of his master and senior brothers to show off his long hair.

It is obviously a temple, but the three-story door is very different.

As soon as you step into the door, you will see the colorful cloud wall made of blue bricks and the glazed hall made of green tiles.

It can be said that the sacred image is made of gold and the steps are made of white jade.

It has a magnificent scene and looks very luxurious.

Even if Xiao Bailong had spoken in advance, seeing such a strange scene now, how could it not make people suspicious?

Looking forward, I saw the golden light of the Main Hall, the auspicious air of the Vera Cloud Pavilion, and the Manjusri Hall and Lunzang Hall on both sides, with flying clouds and flowers and greenery. Compared with the inverted Buddha image in the previous temple, this place looks more like

When you see the precious aura of Buddha's light, you will understand the sincerity of pilgrims.

What a rich Buddhist temple.

Thousands of green bamboos shake the Zen couch, and thousands of green pines reflect the Buddhist door.

For such a scene, my own Jinshan Temple, which is entirely made of stones, cannot compare to it.

Although it was night, Fa Hai looked far away and saw lights looming in the backyard, and there was fragrant mist floating from the atrium. Listening carefully, he also heard some voices chanting sutras and chanting Buddha's name. He was actually very pious.

But Xiao Bailong asked the Taoist: "Let me ask you, don't lie. I look at the front in front of you in a state of embarrassment, but the place behind you is so majestic. Why are there two scenes here?"

The Taoist seemed to be cautious, but in fact he was very bold. He knew that the person in charge was not the handsome young man, but the eminent monk of the Tang Dynasty. He quickly replied: "Master, I don't know. There are many evil and strong bandits in this mountain. The sky is clear, and they are robbing people along the mountain.

Tianyin came to the temple to hide, but he pushed the Buddha statue down and sat on it, and brought the wood plant to light the fire. The monks in the temple were weak and did not dare to talk to the strong men, so they gave up the shabby house in front of them to the strong men and made some new donors.

Incense is used to build this temple."

"Interesting, interesting."

Fahai still didn't speak, and it was Xiao Bailong who spoke, "Since you are a strong man in the mountains, you know that the temple behind you is rich and powerful, but you are only willing to occupy the ruined temple in front of you? Is it possible that they are afraid of the Buddha and dare not cross the border?"

When the Taoist saw Xiao Bailong asking the question, he felt happy at first, but his face did not change and he still responded honestly, "Master Mingjian, if they are afraid of the Buddha, they will not even dare to enter the front yard. This famous hall is called Qinghun Geyiyi

, there are such scenes in the Buddhist temples in the mountains of several countries, it is not unusual."

I see.

Fa Hai and Xiao Bai Long kept this in mind.

Although the man's words were somewhat obscure, the two of them still understood the implication.

However, when the Taoist saw that Fahai and Xiaobailong were silent, he felt a little confused about the situation, so he bravely added: "It is said that these strongmen and bandits should have a Buddhist bond to cross over to the Buddhist temple and open some courtyards for them to stay.

In return, they would not use the incense in Buddhist temples, and even said that some of the worst sinners would wake up in their later years, give away their wealth, and become ordained and ordained in Buddhist temples."

ha--

Xiao Bailong laughed angrily after hearing such words, and said to himself: It's a good thing that Senior Brother is not here, otherwise I would have knocked down all the temples within the three-story gate.

It’s not like Fa Hai has never seen this before.

The so-called putting down the butcher's knife and becoming a Buddha immediately has a good intention.

However, many sentient beings in the world use Buddha's words to do blasphemous things and tarnish the Buddha's nature.

The Taoist couldn't figure out what the two people were thinking, but the chatter box was open, so he chatted a few words: "I am not a monk in this temple. They took me in at the second-story gate to look after me. Most of the monks inside don't go out. In the outer courtyard,

The strong men didn't come in, so they were safe. So at first I heard some movement at the outer door, and I just thought it was the strong men coming back to rest. But when I heard the two of them entering the second door, I became cautious, fearing that they were sneaking into the temple.

, then the bell rings.”

"Are there many sneaks in the mountains?"

"There aren't many, there are some incompetent brats, even those strong men can take care of them."

After hearing this, Xiao Bailong felt strange that the ghosts in the mountains were too out of place.

Then a thought came to his mind, didn't the female goblin say that her relatives, old and young, were killed by strong men? Then she threw her into a group of bandits to see who was going to deal with whom.

While they were talking, the three of them had already arrived in front of the mountain gate, which had five big characters on it: "Zhenhai Chanlin Temple".

Just as he stepped through the door, he suddenly saw a monk coming.

The bell on the second floor door rang loudly, and it rang suddenly at night, so naturally someone would come out to investigate.

But what came out was not an ordinary monk, but a lama monk.

Wearing a left-hand velvet brocade hat, a pair of copper-ringed ears. Wearing a woolen suit, and a pair of white eyes as bright as silver.

He was also shaking the bolang drum in his hand and chanting sutras.

"Master Tripitaka" may not understand, but he cannot hide it from Fahai. This lama monk has his appearance, and the sutras he speaks actually contain many fallacies.

Seeing that he is also sincere and sincere, I think he may not know the deeper meaning and just recite the Death Sutra mindlessly.

This lama monk loved the character of "Master Tripitaka" and saw that he was like an Arhat in the world, very handsome and elegant. He walked forward quickly with a smile on his face, and wanted to reach out and touch the nose and ears of "Master Tripitaka" to show his closeness.

But when he met Fahai's sharp eyes, he suddenly panicked, his steps stopped, and he stopped in place.

He said to the Taoist: "Go back on your own."

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! The Taoist didn't care, he just bowed his hands to Master Tripitaka and said: "I will send the Master here."

"That's good, that's good." Fahai put his hands together and signaled the Taoist to help himself.

"I wonder where the Master is from?" The Lama Monk came closer to Master Tripitaka.

When people asked, Fahai naturally responded: "The poor monk is a monk who was sent by the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty in the East to Tripitaka of the Tang Dynasty to go to the Daleiyin Temple in the Kingdom of Tianzhu in the west to worship Buddha and learn scriptures. Because it was getting late, he passed by Baofang and settled in the outer courtyard."

When the lama monk heard this, he immediately looked unhappy and said, "Master, don't talk nonsense. Since you are a disciple of Buddhism, you must not say anything that is empty."

When he saw Master Tripitaka ignoring him, he looked up and down for a while and asked in surprise: "Did Master Sanzang really come from the east?"

"How can it be false?" Xiao Bailong said loudly: "My master is an eminent monk from the East. He became a monk at Jinshan Temple since he was a child, and then recited Buddhism at Hongfu Temple. Under the orders of the Tang Dynasty King, he organized the Water and Land Conference at Huasheng Temple. The Tang Dynasty King personally gave it to him.

He is responsible for leading all the monks in the world. Seeing my master’s profound virtues, Guanyin Bodhisattva directed me to go to Lingshan Mountain in Xizhou to obtain scriptures, and even became sworn friends with the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty. What’s the use of deceiving a person like my master?”

After hearing this long list of names, the lama monk no longer dared to be suspicious and just said: "How long is the distance from the east to the west? There are mountains on the road, there are caves in the mountains, and there are young monks in the caves who only said that the road is difficult and dangerous.

It is not a path that can be walked by humans. It turns out that the master is indeed an eminent monk. Please forgive me for my humble eyesight and for neglecting the eminent monk. Please come in quickly."

The lama monk welcomed Master Tripitaka into the temple. On the way, he couldn't help but said: "Master, I don't blame the young monk for being suspicious. In fact, the people in our temple really don't want to become a monk. It's all because of the parents who were born and killed the canopy and the family can't support them.

If you give it up and send it to a temple, it won't compare to an eminent monk like the Master."

The lama monk said a few words, and when he was about to say more, he saw an older monk coming into the temple. He immediately stopped talking, quickly walked up to the old monk, and said: "Master, this is

Eminent monks from the Tang Dynasty went to Xitianling Mountain to worship Buddha and seek scriptures. They passed by the temple in the evening, so they settled in the outer courtyard. It was the Taoist serving incense at the second-story gate who led them here."

"Since he is an eminent monk of the Tang Dynasty, how can he rest in the outer courtyard?" The old monk opened his mouth and said to Master Sanzang: "We will stay in the inner temple tonight, and we cannot neglect the distinguished guests and do not know that the eminent monk can have fast food?"

"Amitabha." Fahai recited the Buddha's name: "We walking monks only need a place to rest. The outer courtyard is also the Buddha's place, and there is a sleeping Buddha to accompany us. How can we be considered negligent?"

Seeing that the old monk's expression remained unchanged, Fahai added: "Besides, the poor monk has several disciples who are in the outer courtyard. After the poor monk worships the Buddha, he has to rush to meet them."

How could the old monk be willing to obey? He quickly said: "Master, you don't know that there are tigers, wolves, demons, and ghosts here that can hurt people. They dare not go out far during the day, and they close the door before nightfall. How can you dare to leave people outside?"

hospital?"

Xiao Bailong and Fahai looked at each other and said to themselves: This old monk never mentioned strong people.

The old monk said to the lama monk: "Don't be stunned, go and ask for help."

After receiving the instructions, the lama monk lifted his legs and went out.

Not long after he left, he ran back crying. His feet were unsteady and he fell. He crawled over on his hands and feet, shouting urgently: "It's broken, it's broken! A few goblins cooked the Master's disciples."

The rice is being cooked in the outer courtyard."

scare!

After hearing this, the old monk was so frightened that he shook his body and said anxiously: "How could it be so? How could it be so?! What should we do? What should we do?!"

Fahai and Xiaobailong knew very well that Bajie had prepared the meal, so they stepped forward and asked the lama, "What kind of monsters can you see?"

The lama monk hurriedly said: "There is a monster monkey with a thunderous mouth, a pig monster with a long nose and big ears, a green-faced and fanged Yaksha, and behind it a charming female temptress. Each person holds a bowl, and you can smell it from the second floor door.

See the fragrance."

After hearing this, Xiao Bailong said to himself: Look, they just say that we are all "monsters".

But he still patiently explained a few words, "No problem, no problem, you may have misunderstood. Those three ugly ones are all my senior brothers. We, our senior brothers, are Buddhist disciples who worship the master and listen to the teachings of Buddhism. They are not monsters.

As for the woman, I met her in the black pine forest in the front mountain. She said she came to the mountain to visit her ancestors' graves during the Qingming Festival, and was robbed by strong men. Her relatives, young and old, may have escaped death. The woman who was lucky enough to escape with her life was left to be saved by us."

"That's it, that's it."

The lama monk was talking, but his steps were still. He obviously had no intention of going a second time. But his master always looked at him, so he said to Master Tripitaka: "Master, you two are like this

You are so handsome, how come you have accepted three ugly disciples?"

"Amitabha." Fahai recited the Buddha's name, "The appearance is naturally self-supporting. Although they are a bit ugly, it is better to have a kind heart than to be beautiful on the outside and ruined inside."

When the lama monk heard this, he smiled and stopped talking.

After the old monk heard that the three "goblins" outside were disciples of Master Tripitaka, he regained his appearance as an old god and really behaved like an eminent monk.

Fahai knew that the lama monk was afraid, so he said to Xiao Bailong: "You can go with me."

"Yes." Xiao Bailong responded to the master, and then said to the Lama Monk: "Let's go."

When the Lama Monk saw Little White Dragon walking in front, he followed behind him, but he still hid most of his body behind Little White Dragon, turning his head to look forward from time to time.

"Does Master have to wait for a few disciples, or should he enter the temple first?"

"Let's enter the temple first."

"good."

In the outer courtyard, Bajie saw Xiao Bailong coming, followed by a monk who had been scared away just now, deliberately pretending to be a demon. He did not say anything, but smiled sinisterly at the lama monk behind Xiao Bailong: "

Jiejiejie——”

"Oh my God!" The lama monk immediately rolled his eyes, fell back, and seemed to have fainted.

"Ouch!" Bajie exclaimed when he saw it, put down his rice bowl with one hand, and then stepped forward quickly, and quickly caught the lama monk before his head hit the ground.

He stretched out two fingers and poked his nose, then he breathed a sigh of relief and said, "You scared me to death, old pig."

"Second Senior Brother, who is scaring whom?" Xiao Bailong smiled helplessly, "It was obviously you who scared the person to death."

Seeing that the lama monk's life was not in danger, Bajie laid him flat on the ground and said to Xiao Bailong: "What you said, if I really scared him to death, how could Master spare me?"

The brothers all laughed after hearing this, and the Great Sage even said: "You are the ugliest in appearance, but you like to make mischief. Who can be so strange?"

"Every time you take a bite, you gain wisdom." Bajie covered his mouth and nose with the silk scarf between his necks, and said: "From now on, old pig, I will go on the road like this."

Here, Xiao Bailong sat down and served him a bowl of hot porridge. Over there, Wu Jing also put the rice porridge prepared for the master in the food box and assigned a spirit body to deliver it to the master.

Bajie woke up the lama monk and brought another bowl of hot porridge, "I was an old pig who was reckless just now. I'll just eat a bowl of hot porridge and I'll apologize to you."

The lama monk was trembling. He no longer knew whether these "people" were good or bad, but at this moment he was in their hands after all. Although he was frightened, how could he dare to refuse?

No matter what I think in my heart, there is still some resistance on my face, which is difficult to hide.

But the next moment, before the hot porridge was even in front of me, I smelled a fragrance. It was very tempting.

Gudu.

The Lama Monk didn't care much at this moment, thinking: I won't become a hungry ghost even if I die.

"Hey! It smells so good!"

"Amitabha." After eating, the lama monk seemed a little embarrassed while holding the rice bowl.

Seeing that he didn't put down the bowl after finishing the porridge, Bajie knew in his heart that the festival was over, and said with a smile: "Here, I'll give you another bowl, old pig."

"No, no, I'm so sorry-" the Lama Monk said this, but handed the bowl in his hand out.

At this time, the great sage sat next to the lama and asked casually: "I heard that strong men would stay in this outer courtyard at night. Why don't you come here today?"

The Great Sage has observed with his fiery eyes that most of the monks in this temple are not good, but there are a few exceptions. The lama monk in front of him has no sinful karma. Presumably the master asked Xiao Bailong to bring him here again.

I want to let myself and others explore his voice.
