Chapter 453: What does it have to do with us monks of the Consciousness Only Sect?

zw443sx

For Buddhist believers in Tianzhu, there is no difference between "right and omniscient" and "Buddha".

Although the Emperor of Tianzhu does not believe in Buddhism, the national conditions of Tianzhu are not easily controlled by human power. It is even more impossible to clean up Buddhism in Tianzhu.

The reason why he made great efforts to make friends with Master Tripitaka back then was to use Master Tripitaka's influence to integrate Tianzhu Buddhism.

He had already expected that after Master Tripitaka went to Lingshan to obtain scriptures, his reputation would definitely reach a higher level, but he never expected that... such a title of Three Paths of Buddhism would be spread throughout the three realms.

It's a pity that I am only a mortal king and I don't know what kind of grand event Master Tripitaka experienced in Lingshan.

The Emperor of Tianzhu suddenly felt that...if he was Master Tripitaka, he would not be unable to believe in Buddhism.

But the princess, who had not given up her thoughts at first, also completely stopped thinking about it after learning about this incident?

It's just that...the way my girl looks at Master Tripitaka has changed from the past admiration to the devout worship now. She may become a nun and follow Master Tripitaka's footsteps.

Therefore, Emperor Tianzhu was also quite troubled by this matter and could not think of any countermeasures for the moment.

Fahai can feel the princess's emotional changes. In fact, during the journey of spiritual practice, such a state of mind is a very taboo and will leave very serious hidden dangers.

"Amitabha."

Fahai recited the Buddha's name and did not go to see the princess for the time being. Instead, he said to the emperor of Tianzhu: "Listen to the prince's words, your majesty will hold an unobstructed conference in the near future. Do you want to make a poor monk the abbot?"

"Yes." Emperor Tianzhu nodded and said, "I wonder what the Holy Buddha wants?"

Fahai smiled and said: "This is a good thing, and the poor monk will naturally not refuse it... There is just one thing that needs to be informed to Your Majesty first."

"No matter what the Holy Buddha says, I will not agree to anything."

"The poor monk established a Buddhist sect, called the 'Consciousness Only Sect'. I wonder if it can establish a lineage in Tianzhu?"

The Emperor of Tianzhu did not agree directly, but asked Master Tripitaka for advice: "I wonder if I can listen to the holy Buddhist teachings first?"

"good!"

Fa Hai was incompetent, and then he briefly and concisely explained some of the essence of the "Consciousness Only Sect" to the Emperor of Tianzhu.

The Emperor of Tianzhu did not like Buddhism, but he was not opposed to pure Buddhism, so his own Buddhist practice was not low... It was precisely for this reason that when he heard the "Consciousness Only Teaching",

Cai was even more shocked.

Compared with those Buddhist names that "confuse" the people, the Emperor of Tianzhu can be very sure that this "Consciousness Only Sect" is definitely very different from other sects, especially in terms of the purity of the study of Buddhism, which is beyond the reach of other sects.

.

It is not so much a study of Buddhism as it is an alternative method of studying "beings in the three realms" and practicing them.

Even the Emperor of Tianzhu himself could hardly withstand the temptation after hearing this. He wanted to leave the affairs of the country behind and concentrate on studying and practicing the "Consciousness-Only Teaching".

It is not surprising that the more profound the Dharma is, the more difficult it is to resist the "consciousness-only teaching". This is the fact.

Otherwise, when the Buddha consecrated Master Tripitaka with the three honorary titles, why didn't the Taoist defenders come to stop him?

Because even the most stubborn old monks in Lingshan are very convinced of Master Tripitaka’s Dharma and believe that the three honorary titles promoted by Tathagata Buddha to Master Tripitaka are natural and there is nothing wrong with them.

In fact, they were already planning to find a time to leave Lingshan and go to the Tang Dynasty to officially join the "Consciousness Only Sect".

Although Master Tripitaka did not shy away from hiding the "consciousness-only teaching", for them, of course they hoped to consult Master Tripitaka himself.

This has led to some impatient people who have gone to Chang'an. It is inevitable that some of them have already achieved enlightenment and want to go further... Although none of the Buddhas came, the Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and some monks and nuns had already arrived

The auspicious clouds and holy light appeared in the Tang Dynasty.

It's just that different from the implicit arrogance they had when they were in Xizhou in the past, this time they came to Chang'an, they actually had a rather humble appearance.

Especially when they knew that the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty was the sworn brother of Master Tripitaka, they even took the initiative to visit him, which made Li Shimin feel flattered for a moment.

But after all, he was a once-in-a-lifetime hero, the Khan of Heaven who was in charge of thousands of miles of land and was worshiped by all the nations. Coupled with the majesty of his own emperor, he quickly accepted and adapted to the status quo.

The two parties negotiated and the scene was very harmonious.

Li Shimin learned from the monks what happened after the Jade Emperor returned to Lingshan, and the monks did not hide anything. After all, the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty would know these things sooner or later after Tripitaka returned.

Besides, they came to worship the "Consciousness Only Sect". What does the person lost by the Lingshan monks have to do with the monks of their Consciousness Only Sect?

And they naturally found out that Master Tripitaka, who had gone down the mountain first, had not come back yet... After further inquiries, they found out that Master Tripitaka had been invited by the King of Tianzhu to lecture on Buddhism and Buddhism at the Wu Zha Conference in Tianzhu.

It is the "knowledge-only teaching" that is obtained.

Then they all bid farewell to the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty and went to Tianzhu first to listen to the "leader"'s sermons.

It can be said that these monks came and went in a hurry... The monarchs and ministers of the Tang Dynasty saw the excitement, and they were even more proud that the Tang Dynasty had a Tripitaka Master.

The inner garden of the palace.

Empress Changsun looked at Li Shimin, who had hardly closed his mouth in the past few days, and couldn't help but smile: "Your Majesty has not laughed like this for a long time."

"Really?" Li Shimin's smile continued, "Didn't I smile when my brother came back last month?"

Empress Changsun glanced at Li Shimin and said helplessly: "Your Majesty still wants to joke with your concubines... Aren't you worried about your imperial brother being left in Tianzhu by the emperor of that day?"

"Hahahaha——" Li Shimin laughed a few times after hearing this, "Although I have only met Yudi a few times, I know Yudi's character... Even staying in Lingshan and becoming a Buddha can't move his heart.

How can a mere Tianzhu country be able to retain a royal younger brother?"

This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content! "Besides..." Li Shimin said with a smile: "My Chinese origin is my younger brother."

It's hard for Empress Changsun to disagree with this.

"I heard that Cheng Qian became Li Chunfeng's disciple some time ago?" Li Shimin had a lot of affairs, big and small, these days, so it was inevitable that he would pay less attention to this deposed prince.

But Empress Changsun was different. She never dared to slack off on her Majesty's children, whether they were born to her or not... But even so, she still felt a little frustrated in her heart, because she found that although her sons were all afraid of her,

I also respect myself very much...but it seems that I never teach well.

If Cheng Qian is the eldest son, and he suffers from leg disease and has a deviation in his character, it is finally an excuse; but could Qing Que's vengeful temper be innate?

Finally, he taught a pheasant slave, but he seems to be too gentle. In the future, he may be the holy king and wise master in the mouth of the courtiers... and most importantly, the emperor who is favored by courtiers like his brother.

"Although Cheng Qian has been with Master Sanzang for several days, according to his own words, Master Sanzang said that he has no connection with Buddhism..." Empress Changsun sighed softly and said: "But he seems to have given up his intention to become a monk. Buddhism

If you don't accept him, you will have to enter the Taoist sect... Taishi Ling Li Chunfeng is a senior scholar of my Taoist sect, so he went to become my disciple."

"Li Chunfeng is so brave, and you really dare to admit him." Although Li Shimin's words were harsh, Empress Changsun could actually hear that, and he was not angry because of it.

"Forget it, let him go." Sure enough, after a few breaths, Li Shimin continued, "Just let him practice Taoism with Li Chunfeng... But we can't take it lightly, this kid is not a light-saving lamp."

Queen Changsun said to herself: After all, he is your son, where can I find a fuel-efficient lamp?

When the former crown prince and the King of Wei were competing for the position of crown prince, Empress Changsun even had the thought that she regretted having so many children, only to have them fight against each other.

But who do you ask her, a mother-in-law, to help?

And if that day really comes, he can't blame anyone else. After all, it's him, the father, who sets the example for his sons.

In Tianzhu Kingdom, west of the intersection of the Yamana River and the mainstream of the Ganges River, the river has alluvialized into a beach with a radius of 14 to 15 miles. Kings in the past have held alms conferences here, so this place is also called "Great Alms".

Field", this unobstructed conference is held here.

This gathering was grand, and because of Master Tripitaka's name, more than 500,000 people gathered at one time.

Among them were eminent monks, ascetics, Brahmans and poor and lonely people... There were also kings of various sects and states in the country of Tianzhu who came here to participate in this Uncensored Conference.

The conference was very successful and came to a successful conclusion on the 75th day.

During the period of almsgiving to the kings, Master Tripitaka described various wonderful functions of Buddhism, among which the most purifying ones are the "ten kinds of freedom".

The so-called freedom means that the mind is free from the fetters of troubles and has access without hindrance.

The ten kinds of freedom are: freedom of longevity, freedom of mind, freedom of solemnity, freedom of karma, freedom of birth, freedom of liberation, freedom of desire, freedom of divine power, freedom of Dharma and freedom of wisdom.

After the Uncensored Conference, Fahai naturally wanted to say goodbye.

However, the Emperor of Tianzhu communicated with other kings and wanted to build 100 temples to keep the Holy Buddha in Tianzhu for worship, but Fahai firmly refused.

Master Tripitaka wants to leave, how dare they force him to stay?

Although he was disappointed, he reluctantly sent Master Tripitaka out of the country of Tianzhu.

In fact, Master Sanzang originally promised to visit Jinping Prefecture, Yuhua Prefecture and Fengxian County to visit and teach Buddhism on his way back from Buddhist scriptures. However, during this unobstructed conference, people came from all three places. When the old friend passed by these three places,

, but he didn’t stop deliberately.

This way out of Fengxian County, the master and disciples rode on the clouds. When they passed Wuyin Mountain, the Great Sage in front of them said: "Master, ahead is the destruction of France."

"Master." The Great Sage suddenly scratched his head and said to the master: "I remember that when we passed by France, master, you seemed to have promised the king something."

"Yes." Fahai naturally did not forget this matter. "Back then, France was destroyed because of cholera in the temples in the country, so he killed the 'monks'. He was afraid that the Buddha would be offended by it... so my master once said, etc.

I went to Lingshan Mountain to ask Buddha on his behalf whether Buddha would be angry because of this incident."

"But Master...did we all forget to ask?"

"No." Fahai shook his head and said, "I have not forgotten my teacher."

Bajie was stunned for a moment, and then asked curiously: "Master, old pig, I really forgot, but since you remember it, master, why didn't you ask the Buddha for advice?"

"Because of this, there is no need to ask the Buddha...because no matter what he thinks in his heart, he has only one answer."

Wu Jing followed the master's train of thought and said: "Buddha can only say, and he can only say 'not angry'. If he can't, he has to praise the leader who destroyed France."

While everyone was talking, they saw that the clouds behind them suddenly gathered into the shadow of a Buddha, which instantly caused a commotion to destroy the French subjects.

After receiving the report from the guards, the leader of the Miefa Kingdom hurriedly left the main hall, raised his head and looked above the clouds, only to see a few figures in front of his auspicious clouds and the Buddha's shadow, which were blurry and then became clearer and clearer.

"oops!"

The leader of the Miefa Kingdom screamed: "The Holy Buddha is here!"

"We pay our respects to the Holy Buddha!"

Under the leadership of the ruler of France, all the subjects bowed to Sanzang one after another.

Fahai used his magic power to support them in time and said: "Don't kneel down when you see a poor monk."

Since Lingshan's decree spread throughout the world, the title of Master Tripitaka in various countries in the Western Continent has changed from "Master Tripitaka" to "Holy Buddha".

Regarding the title "Holy Buddha", even though Tripitaka has made it clear many times that he does not accept it, it is of no use at all... Especially after the Uncensored Conference, the name "Holy Buddha" is even more unstoppable.

After all, even the monks in Lingshan Mountain called Master Tripitaka that way... Mortals like them just followed suit.

Moreover, they originally believed that Master Tripitaka deserved the title of "Holy Buddha".

Even though he was called "the heaven of liberation", "the heaven of Mahayana" and "the perfect omniscience", Fa Hai's state of mind remained the same as before, and there were no twists and turns due to this.

For the monks in Lingshan, let alone these three titles, even if they were given any one of them, they would never be able to maintain their original intention like Master Tripitaka.

On the other hand, they can't get it either.

Fa Hai lowered his head from the clouds, stepped on the earth with his feet, put his hands together and recited the Buddha's name: "Amitabha."

The leader of the Miefa Kingdom looked respectful. The last time he met Master Tripitaka, Master Tripitaka said that he was an "ordinary monk." However, when we met again today, Master Tripitaka had actually become the "True Universal Knowledge" of Buddhism.

This shows the profoundness of Master Tripitaka’s Dharma——

The master landed on the ground, and several junior brothers also followed him. Only the great sage hung in the air, and even took out the golden cudgel and blocked it in front of the auspicious cloud Buddha shadow.

"Holy Buddha... this is the Great Sage?"

Fahai pointed to the auspicious clouds of Buddha's shadow in the sky and said, "This Buddha's shadow must be the Tathagata Buddha's magical power that appears here."

Tathagata Buddha?

To say that the destruction of France is indeed the destruction of France, everyone just took a few glances and stopped paying too much attention. After all, the real "Holy Buddha" was right in front of them, so there was no need to look far away.

Moreover, when there was chaos in the country, it was Master Tripitaka who helped the country overcome the difficulties, not the Tathagata Buddha.
