Chapter 474: I am extremely envious; it is a poor monk’s luck to have the guidance of Confucius

Become an immortal?

Become a Buddha?

What's the point?

Just like Master Tripitaka, his younger brother, one can become a Buddha with just one thought, but he always walks the three realms as an ordinary monk. That is, now he wants to establish a sect, so he takes on the identity of the founder of the Consciousness Only Sect.

.

After Li Shimin learned that the ancestors of the human race could ascend to the Fire Cloud Cave, he couldn't calm down in his heart.

Although it is true that he is the incarnation of Emperor Ziwei, as Emperor Fuxi said back then, once he is reincarnated as a human, he is still a human.

This is a characteristic of the human race.

As for those who voluntarily give up their human identity and become demons instead, they are still a minority after all. They are either short-sighted or have some unavoidable reasons.

Li Shimin didn't know how far he had to go to qualify to ascend to the Fire Cloud Cave, but... before him, Emperor Qin and Emperor Wu of Han, the two human emperors who could be called the great emperors of the ages, still did not have this

honor.

According to Li Shimin's understanding, in addition to the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, as well as a few kings with outstanding achievements...the rest are the scholars who triggered the contention of a hundred schools of thought back then, but not everyone has this qualification.

But from another perspective, even if all the disciples failed to ascend to the Fire Cloud Cave, they were all recruited by the Heavenly Court.

For example, the doctor Bian Que, the military grandson, the public loser Lu Ban, etc.

Those who soared into the Fire Cloud Cave were like Sage Kong and his disciples...

But there are also some people who live in seclusion in the human world and are neither recruited by heaven nor restricted by the Fire Cloud Cave...such as Mozi, Guiguzi, etc.

But for Li Shimin, it seems that flying up to the Fire Cloud Cave has become a goal that he is currently striving for... But if he wants to get his wish, how much achievements must he make?

At the very least, it has to create an era, right?

Then... I will lead the Tang Dynasty's cavalry to conquer a huge territory!

Unifying China may not be enough. If all four continents were under the control of the Tang Dynasty...

One emperor through the ages?

wrong!

Eternal Holy Emperor!

The wild thoughts in Li Shimin's heart could not be hidden from Fa Hai's eyes. He just said lightly: "Your Majesty seems to be a little too ambitious."

Although Master Sanzang's voice was not loud, after hearing it, it pierced his soul and wiped away all his previous "delusions". Li Shimin finally came back to his senses, but he didn't care. Instead, he asked Master Sanzang in a low voice: "Is this the way to go?"

How much do you think I can get for what I think?"

"Only the sixth generation of the Great Qin Dynasty was able to unify China." Fa Hai did not look down on Li Shimin, but said that the situation in the other three continents was completely different from that of Nanzhou, and he only wanted to complete the unification with the power of the Tang Dynasty.

The great achievements of the four continents are nothing more than idiotic dreams.

Lingshan in the West Continent, Yaoman in the Beizhou and the Immortal Sect in the East Continent are by no means easy targets for the Tang Dynasty to provoke at this stage.

Besides... people die in war.

If the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty wanted to provoke a four-continent war just for his own merits, then Fahai would never support such a war.

Although Fa Hai does not prohibit killing, this is indeed contrary to the Buddhist teachings practiced by Fa Hai.

Moreover, if Li Shimin really launched a war for such a reason, I am afraid that he would not be recognized by Huoyundong.

Unless...the teacher is famous.

If one is a teacher of justice, then the situation will naturally be different, and Fahai can even imagine some of the reasons... As for Li Shimin, with the think tank under his command, he wants to find out some of the reasons.

The reason is actually not that difficult. The only difference is... it's just Shancun's first excuse to send troops, or he does it sincerely.

For example, if we send troops to Xizhou, we can do so under the guise of cleaning up the unruly Buddhist sects and ignorant human thoughts. The purpose of the Tang Dynasty's troops is to truly enlighten the Xizhou human thoughts and save them from the sea of suffering;

Chen Bing Beizhou is even simpler. Killing demons and demons is a matter of course. As the first empire on earth, the Tang Dynasty has the responsibility to clean up the world and establish peace in the world;

The real trouble is Dongzhou, which is full of fairy caves and big sects...

However, if the Tang Dynasty really one day wipes out the Western and Northern Zhous, Dongzhou will naturally not be able to turn a blind eye...the two sides will have a battle sooner or later.

But when that time comes, I'm afraid it won't just be a human matter, and the Jade Emperor might not even be able to sit still.

Emperors who were disrespectful to heaven did not appear before.

The reason why the First Emperor Ying Zheng died suddenly on his eastern tour... I'm afraid it was also related to this aspect. Even though he had not revealed his intention to conquer the sky before, he was actually destroying mountains and temples to cut off the worship of gods.

...cutting off the source of incense for the gods naturally weakened the power of the gods to a certain extent... Then according to the temperament of the First Emperor, it does not seem to be an accident to lead the Qin soldiers to attack Nantianmen in the future.

The emperor has the ambition to establish immortal achievements.

Just as a monk has the compassion to save all sentient beings, the two sides seem to be incompatible with each other to a certain extent.

The vast majority of monks are always incompatible with a great king who is full of ambitions, unless it is a murderous monk who is also unwilling to live in peace.

Although Fahai was a killing monk, his killings did not involve innocent people, but were just to protect all living beings... So Li Shimin came to him to find the answer, but he was destined to return in vain.

Or maybe Li Shimin realized his mistake and looked a little embarrassed, but after all, he was a human emperor and had his own set of tricks. He quickly regained his composure, as if he had never mentioned it before, "The sect will be opened soon."

It's a grand ceremony, I wonder which guests your brother has invited to watch the ceremony?"

"Except for telling Old Mother Lishan, Great Immortal Zhenyuan, Tathagata Buddha, Great Sun Tathagata, Guanyin Bodhisattva, True Monarch Erlang and Mr. Ziyu... there are no other guests."

"Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva does not leave the underworld, and the poor monk has already visited him before..."

Li Shimin:...

Is this the opening ceremony of the sect, or the assembly of immortals and Buddhas?

"The poor monk actually didn't want to invite so many guests to watch the ceremony, but after all, they have different identities." Fahai paused again and said: "Actually, there were two invitations that were intended to be sent to Xuanyuan and Dayu of Huoyun Cave.

In front of a great emperor, but thinking that they cannot leave the Fire Cloud Cave without authorization...the poor monk plans to go to the Fire Cloud Cave to visit the two kings before opening the sect."

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! Li Shimin:...

This is really very enviable.

"Um... I wonder who Mr. Ziyu is that my disciple is talking about?"

"Zengzi Zengcan was a disciple of Confucius."

Li Shimin left and did not stay at Ci'en Temple for a moment longer, even though he had paid for the temple to be built.

In fact, this time when Yu Di came back, Li Shiming directly gave him the land deed of Ci'en Temple. Yu Di did not refuse, but happily accepted it.

In fact, after their master and disciple returned from studying for Buddhist scriptures, they were already penniless. Before they sent people off in Lingshan, Wukong didn't leave any of them behind. He put all the wealth he gained along the way in the main hall of Lingshan.

But in the end, the Buddha also confiscated them, and scattered them all into the human world, and gave them to the poor.

Today's Li Shimin is no more financially nervous than when he founded the country. Now the country is peaceful, the officials are clear in governance, and the people are stable... The treasury is naturally much richer, otherwise why would he dare to dream of the great dream of the eternal holy emperor?

Outside the Fire Cloud Cave.

There are clouds in eight places here, fog rises from all directions, tall cypresses and curved pines.

Fahai bowed respectfully at the foot of the mountain and said: "Tang Sanzang of the human race, come to pay homage to His Majesty the Human King."

He came alone. After all, this is the holy land of the human race. Wukong and the others felt uncomfortable coming, so they all stayed in Ci'en Temple to handle the opening ceremony... Except for Tathagata Buddha who could not leave Lingshan, several immortal Buddhas

He specifically told the great sage who came to deliver the letter that he would definitely be there that day.

Naturally, their masters and disciples cannot be careless.

The above people were invited by Fahai...and as the founding disciples, they are naturally qualified to invite relatives and friends to watch the ceremony.

For example, the Great Sage invited his second brother, the Dragon Demon King, the Third Prince Nezha, the Barefoot Immortal, Taibai Jinxing, and the Four Waste Star Lord Yuan Hong, among other gods. And because when he went to invite Nezha in Chentangguan, King Li Tian was also at home.

So I invited him along...

Bajie, Wujing and Xiaobailong actually didn't have many close friends in the Three Realms, so they had to leave a message for Qingfeng and Mingyue, but these two were going to follow the Great Immortal Zhenyuan that day.

In addition, Xiaobailong invited the Dragon King of the Four Seas.

In fact, after this list spread in the Three Realms, many gods and immortals rushed to the Tang Dynasty without even invitations... Are these characters they can usually see?

Not to mention Immortal Zhenyuan and Bodhisattva, even if they were to establish friendship with the Dragon King of the Four Seas, that would be a big deal.

Think back then, weren't Li Jing and Ao Guang considered brothers?

When Li Jing met Ao Guang, he had to politely call him brother, but times had changed... Now when the Dragon King of the Four Seas met the powerful King Tota, no matter how reluctant he was, he still had to call him respectfully.

King Li.

Emperor Fuxi was present in Huoyun Cave, so he had naturally ordered the boy to greet him outside. Only when Fahai came to greet him did the boy directly say, "Your majesties know that the Holy Buddha is coming and have been waiting for a long time."

It is said that there is no priority in learning, those who master come first.

This boy looks young, but he actually followed Emperor Fuxi as early as the emperor's reign. He followed the emperor to the Fire Cloud Cave, and he was just a boy... If we take it seriously, he can definitely be regarded as the ancestor of the human race.

, but he has always been alone and has not left any blood inheritance in the world. It can be said that he is a pure Yang body.

Fa Hai felt it roughly, and he could feel a very strong surging force of blood in the opponent... Is this the human martial arts in ancient times?

"Amitabha." Fahai recited the Buddha's name and said, "Please ask the fairy boy to lead the way."

"Holy Buddha, please don't call me fairy boy." The boy responded with a smile: "There is no fairy in my Fire Cloud Cave. Holy Buddha can call me Gua."

"Gua?"

"Back then, His Majesty discovered the principles of the changes of yin and yang between heaven and earth and created Bagua... Then he picked me up by the river and named me Bagua."

"I see."

Fahai had never heard of this before, so this trip was a great experience.

"Holy Buddha please."

"please!"

This Fire Cloud Cave is an unusual place. Even Fahai, who is now known as the Holy Buddha of the Three Realms, has always maintained his humble nature here... After entering the mountain, he saw the towering Furong Peak and the majestic Zigai Ridge.

I could smell the fragrance of the herbs, and in the distance there was the smoke of the stove and the chirping of cranes.

It seems that His Majesty Shennong is refining medicine.

His Majesty Shennong is different from Taoist masters. Although he has the aura of heaven and earth such as Shennong's Cauldron, he never makes elixirs... what he makes is medicine to cure diseases and save lives.

Walking further, you can see murals in front of you, such as nests and houses, taizes and ropes, Suihuang drilling fires, silk clothes and skirts... Fuxi created Bagua, Shennong tasted hundreds of herbs, Xuanyuan fought against Chiyou...

Until Dayu controlled the floods, it was considered an end.

Turning around this mountain road... I saw a thatched cottage in front of me. Among them was a tall and mighty man who was writing about the Spring and Autumn Period. While writing, he was also telling his own story to the disciples who were listening below.

Enlightenment.

As if he felt Fahai's gaze, the big man paused for a moment, and when he looked at each other, he waved to Fahai... and then, perhaps feeling something was wrong, he said a few words to the disciples.

, and walked quickly towards Fahai.

The hexagram on the side introduced Fahai: "This is the Confucian Saint Kong."

This can still be seen.

Fahai also hurriedly greeted him. When the two parties approached, he first saluted and said: "The poor monk Tang Sanzang has met Confucius."

"There is no need to be polite." Kong Shengren said with a smile, "You are the holy Buddha in the world today. I just gave birth to you many years earlier. How many years have you grown..."

Having said that, Fahai still remained humble. In front of this Confucian sage, even the most arrogant person must put away his arrogance.

Sage Kong continued: "But it is not too late to get to know each other now. I am very interested in the holy Buddha's consciousness-only teachings. If I have time, I wonder if I can ask for advice?"

"How dare you." Fahai clasped his hands together, "It is a poor monk's luck to have the guidance of Confucius..."

When three of us travel together, we must be my teacher.

For Confucius, there is nothing in the Three Realms that cannot be learned. This is exactly what the saying goes: "Choose the good ones and follow them, and change the bad ones."

Moreover, Tripitaka’s Buddhism is considered advanced in the entire Three Realms. How could Confucius not be interested in it?

As for Master Tripitaka, he was willing to accept knowledge from hundreds of schools of thought. Isn't it a great opportunity to have the opportunity to sit down and discuss Taoism with Confucius?

Not to be missed.

The main thing is that Fa Hai has been traveling in the Three Realms as Tripitaka. As for the "Golden Chanzi" in his previous life, he basically doesn't mention it...otherwise he can be regarded as an ancient person from a thousand years ago.

If we count Jin Chanzi, he and Kong Sheng were actually figures of the same era.

After saying a few words, Fa Hai said goodbye to Kong Sheng for the time being. After all, the main reason he came here today was to pay homage to the two kings Xuanyuan and Dayu... But before they left, Kong Sheng took out a book from his arms.

Juan Shu came and said with a smile: "Holy Buddha, please accept this as a gift for meeting me."

There was no title on the scroll, and it was difficult for Fahai to open it and read it, so he took out a Buddhist scripture that he carried with him and gave it to Confucius, which was regarded as a mutual gift.

Kong Sheng also accepted it gladly, and then took a closer look at the cover, which read "The Theory of Perfect Consciousness".

After passing through this valley, I saw the Baoce Lingtai and a large tripod standing in front of me. This tripod was not the Shennong tripod of Emperor Yan, but an imitation of the Jiuzhou tripod cast by King Yu...

After that, green luanans flew in the pavilions, and purple mist hid in the pavilions. From time to time, I saw dragons lurking at the bottom of the stream, and tigers crouching in front of the cliffs...

Before Fahai could take a closer look, he heard a heroic voice and said with a smile: "Hahahahahaha——, Tang Sanzang... we always meet face to face!"
