Chapter 481: Bodhisattva is also in the human world; why is there not a Buddha statue in this hall?

"Why?"

Although Si Zi had this opportunity, Li Shimin could not feel at ease.

There is nothing so cheap in the world... When Si Zi was about to expire and should have died, Guanyin Bodhisattva descended from the sky and accepted Si Zi into the Nanhai Buddhist Sect. From then on, he shed his mortal body and his death certificate... It seemed that he could get it easily.

Achieve the eternal life that mortals dream of.

Why?

"Because the emperor is the emperor of the Tang Dynasty, because the Si son is in Ci'en Temple, and because... even a Bodhisattva wants to establish his authority in the Tang Dynasty." Fa Hai looked at Li Shimin and said what Li Shimin was thinking.

think.

Li Shimin remained silent because what Master Sanzang said was exactly what he was thinking.

The Bodhisattva saved Sizi, so he owed the Bodhisattva a share of karma... Even if the Bodhisattva would not use this as a threat to himself, once the suspicion of the emperor arose, how could it be so easily eliminated?

"My dear brother, your heart yearns for the prosperity of the human king. Don't you know that the Kunlun divine generals all served under the human king in those days... The human king is not the king of the human race, but the king of the human world."

"Bodhisattvas are also in the human world."

Bang bang!

Li Shimin's heart stopped and then started beating rapidly.

Yudi's words seem to have nothing to do with the worries in his heart, but they are actually reminding himself to take a long-term view... If he can recreate the scene of the ancient human king, then even if the gods and Buddhas of the gods come to the world

, you must also accept your own constraints and jurisdiction.

Having one's own strength is the original and right path.

But... Li Shimin quickly calmed down. Even if he thinks highly of himself, such things as commanding gods and Buddhas... he still doesn't dare to think about it at the moment.

"My dear brother, sometimes I really doubt...if you were not a Buddhist but a general...then what would happen to the Tang Dynasty?"

"Amitabha." Fahai said with a smile instead: "Brother, the emperor must have forgotten that the ancestor of my younger brother is none other than Duke Yun."

Li Shimin was stunned for a moment, and then he suddenly realized: "It is said that your father used to be a bachelor of Wenyuan Palace. Later, after your mother committed suicide, he resigned and returned to his hometown... I haven't seen him for a long time."

Fa Hai thought for a while, "When my brother left Chang'an and went to Lingshan to learn Buddhist scriptures, my father also came to Chang'an to see me off... But this time when I came back, I didn't go to see him either."

"I heard that he opened an academy in the countryside, accepted disciples, and taught knowledge... his family was very prosperous." Li Shimin also sighed softly and said: "It's sad to say that what happened back then, your father was originally very talented.

He was the number one scholar in our dynasty...but he was killed by an adulterer...Fortunately, my younger brother Tianming was still alive and he was not poisoned. Otherwise, it would be a big deal for me to have one less sworn brother. If the three realms lose a holy Buddha because of this, then

This is the great regret of the Three Realms."

"Brother, your words are serious. I am just an ordinary monk. How can I deserve such ridiculous praise from my brother?"

Li Shimin knew that Sanzang was always modest, so he didn't argue much. He just asked Master Sanzang for advice: "My dear brother, what do you think I should do about the Bodhisattva?"

"Since you are Guanyin Bodhisattva... Your Majesty, you don't have to worry so much." If another Bodhisattva did this, Fahai would definitely think that the other party had ulterior motives, but Guanyin Bodhisattva was different after all. "Just let everything take its course... no matter what

, Si Zi was saved by Bodhisattva."

That is to say, Guanyin Bodhisattva wants to bring Si Zi into the Nanhai Buddhist Sect, otherwise Fahai will be determined to keep Si Zi for a few days. When the Consciousness Wei Sect opens the gate, he will transfer Si Zi into the Buddhist sect.

Li Shimin nodded slightly, what Yu Di said was not unreasonable, plus there is Yu Di sitting in Chang'an... What if the Bodhisattva established a Taoist lineage in the Tang Dynasty?

What's more, with the Bodhisattva's reputation in the Three Realms, wanting to preach in the Tang Dynasty... it's really not something he can easily stop if he wants to oppose it.

As for Sizi being accepted into Buddhism and becoming a monk...it can only be said that he was lucky to be able to save his life, and Li Shimin did not do what he asked for.

When a person's life span comes to an end...

Li Shimin, who had this idea in his mind again, couldn't help but think of his founding heroes... Du Ruhui, Fang Xuanling, Qin Shubao, Wei Zheng and others all passed away one after another...

Every time he hears bad news, it is actually a psychological trauma for Li Shimin.

People are jealous of Heaven, so their life span is very short.

It is also true that from ancient times until today... the human race has always had no shortage of talents, and it can be said that talents have emerged from generation to generation... This is also unmatched by others.

Li Shimin looked at his imperial brother in front of him and sighed in his heart: Isn't my imperial brother the most talented person in this era?

Thinking like this, his waist became straighter and straighter.

...

In the main hall of Ci'en Temple.

Bodhisattva and Jin Guangxian were invited by Fa Hai to meet here. Li Shimin and his three sons were also in the main hall.

Everyone was familiar with the Bodhisattva, but this was indeed the first time they met Jin Guangxian. After being introduced by Master Sanzang, they found out that this seemingly inconspicuous Taoist priest was actually a Taoist immortal, so it was natural to meet him again.

It's just that Jin Guangxian was still a little cautious when meeting the Bodhisattva... As for the matter of Princess Jinyang entering the Bodhisattva's sect, Jin Guangxian was unable to do anything. Not to mention that he couldn't do it to snatch the disciples from the Bodhisattva's hands.

Come on...even if you dare to take action, I'm afraid you may not be able to win.

Don't let the apprentice fail to grab it when the time comes, and instead try to get him in again.

However, Jin Guangxian's trip was not without success...

Perhaps the eldest brother Li Chengqian and his younger sister Si Zi both worshiped famous teachers. When King Li Tai of Wei learned about the identity of Jin Guangxian from Master Tripitaka, he went directly to greet him and said, "Little Wang has seen the immortal."

Jin Guangxian smiled slightly and said, "I am so polite."

"I wonder if Xiao Wang has a destiny?"

In his early years, King Li Tai of Wei was favored by Li Shimin, so he had a somewhat domineering personality... Although he failed to seize the throne before, he only lost the qualification to compete for the throne... He was still a first-class nobleman in the Tang Dynasty.

If you don't want to become an emperor, you will cultivate immortality... This is the path that his eldest brother chose, and he successfully became a disciple of Taoist Master Li Chunfeng. When he listened to his father's talk just now, he knew that his eldest brother had been recognized by Lao Jun and officially joined the human race.

Church door wall.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! Not to be outdone, Li Tai... Now he heard that Jin Guangxian was the Great Immortal of Jie Jiao, so he naturally became interested.

At this moment, he did not hide his thoughts at all and asked Jin Guangxian directly.

Li Tai's temperament seems arrogant...in fact, in Jin Guangxian's view, it is just the temperament of a child, just ordinary.

When it comes to unruly temperament...even Yang Jian, Nezha and Sun Wukong may not be at the forefront in front of their disciples.

"The qualifications are acceptable." Jin Guangxian looked at Li Tai for a moment, then looked at Li Shimin, and said with a smile: "If your majesty allows it, I can accept His Highness the King of Wei as my disciple and become a free and easy immortal in the future... I don't think so.

No."

"Just a loose immortal?" Li Tai was still not satisfied.

"Hahaha——" Jin Guangxian laughed three times and said: "You are really greedy, and you are not satisfied with the loose immortality? As a prince of the Celestial Dynasty, it is very rare to be able to cultivate into a loose immortality... After all, someone with imperial aura

, the power of the tribulation thunder when becoming an immortal and overcoming the tribulation will be doubled. This is one of the reasons why neither the human king nor the emperor has practiced cultivation since ancient times... And even the royal disciples who can overcome the tribulation and become an immortal are also

Very few.”

The most famous among them is Liu An, King of Huainan in the Han Dynasty.

The so-called allusion of "when a person attains enlightenment, chickens and dogs ascend to heaven" comes from this prince...

Li Tai thought for a while and then said: "If others can't do it, how can I do it alone? But I don't believe in fate... If the Taoist master accepts me as his disciple, he may teach a real heavenly king in the future. Isn't it also a beautiful story that has been passed down through the ages?

?”

After finishing speaking, Li Tai looked at Li Shimin again and said: "Father, my son wants to become a disciple of the Taoist Master, please allow me to do so."

Li Tai knew it well. Apart from anything else, based on his father's high regard for his younger brother Li Zhi and the support of his uncle Tripitaka, Pheasant Nu's position as the crown prince of the Tang Dynasty was basically unshakable.

Now that they have broadened their horizons, they will naturally not just focus on the position of the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty, but face such a vast Three Realms... knowing the future, whether they are trapped in Chang'an City, or they will become a vassal in the future.

..are by no means the best choices.

They are the sons of Tian Khan, so they should be able to accomplish something.

"Since Qingque is so confident...I will help you."

Li Shimin did not refuse. After all, he would rather see the current situation than fighting against each other... As for whether Cheng Qian and Qing Que would dare to come back and attack the pheasant slaves because they have succeeded in cultivating Taoism.

..He thought there was no need to worry about it for the time being.

As the king of a country, he has quite a lot of experience in using the Qi of the Emperor Ziwei... Just now, because he learned that Si Ziyang was about to die, he had another insight. After digesting it, he also

It can be transformed into its own essence.

It's also that Li Zhi's body bones are somewhat weak. He doesn't have much talent in human martial arts... he can only practice more in the emperor's Qi.

Jin Guangxian was not a pretentious person, and Wei Wang Li Tai was even more decisive. The two of them did not need any special ceremony. Wei Wang Li Tai kowtowed to Jin Guangxian a few times and successfully became the disciple of Jin Guangxian.

After all, he is of imperial blood, and Li Tai's talent is definitely not bad even in the world of cultivation... Unfortunately, because he has imperial aura, he is destined to never go smoothly on his journey to becoming an immortal.

As for the three Holy Emperors who, besides cultivating the power of the human bloodline, can still be distracted from their cultivation... That is really because of their extraordinary talents and extraordinary luck...

What's more, with their temperament, if the heavenly calamity really wants to strike them, they will never sit still and wait for death. I'm afraid they will rush into the calamity cloud first and try to see if they can break the calamity cloud into pieces.

After the apprenticeship was successful, Jin Guangxian curiously asked Master Tripitaka: "Holy Monk, why is there not a Buddha statue in this hall?"

There is not even a single Buddha statue in the main hall of the Consciousness Sect of Ci'en Temple... This is quite an explosion in the entire Three Realms.

In particular, Master Sanzang is also a holy Buddha of Buddhism, which inevitably makes Jin Guangxian curious.

The Bodhisattva did not find this strange, and Li Shimin and the three princes had become accustomed to it.

The Bodhisattva didn't find it strange because she knew the nature of Tripitaka best. Instead of doing those formal rituals of worshiping the Buddha, it would be better to recite the Buddhist sutras seriously several times... Oh, Wukong could just recite it silently in his heart without speaking out loud.

As for Li Shimin and his son...this is because on the first day Master Sanzang took over Ci'en Temple, he ordered the monks to remove all the Buddha statues in the temple.

If it is carved from stone, it will be preserved...but if it is made of gold, it will be melted directly to help the poor people.

After all, Ci'en Temple is a royal imperial building, and there are many treasures in it... But Master Tripitaka left behind only a few solitary classics and not a single thing outside of his body.

It even issued an announcement that Ci'en Temple would not accept money from people for incense...

At that time, Ci'en Temple's big move caught the entire Buddhist community in Chang'an by surprise... and they didn't know whether they should follow suit.

Even though Master Sanzang came forward to make it clear that the temples in Chang'an did not have to learn the temple rules of Ci'en Temple... privately, there was still quite a commotion.

After all, people's thinking is very simple: Master Tripitaka is the Holy Buddha, the Mahayana "Great Vehicle Heaven" recognized by the Lingshan Buddha, the Hinayana "Liberation Heaven" and the "right and omniscient" of the entire Buddhism... The holy Buddha can do wrong things.

?

What's more, they don't accept money from the people for incense. Instead, they take out the treasures in the temple to help the poor...

So what do other Buddhist temples do?

Comparing the two, the people were naturally more convinced of Ci'en Temple where Master Tripitaka was located.

Everything is afraid of comparison. For those ordinary Buddhist temples in the human world, Master Tripitaka's... is tantamount to drawing fuel from the bottom of the cauldron.

Although there are some Buddhist sects that win over a group of people with the words "without Buddha statues and disrespectful incense, Buddha cannot bless you"... But facing Master Tripitaka who has reached the peak of his personal charm at this moment, it is obviously still not enough.

Even when they were preparing to come to Ci'en Temple to "make trouble" with great fanfare, a passerby suddenly said: "Are you stupid? Master Tripitaka, the holy Buddha of the Tang Dynasty, you don't believe in Tripitaka who did good deeds in the world, but believe in those

The stone statue... 嘁嘁嘁——"

Just a simple sentence almost instigated half of the people to rebel... After all, most of them worshiped Buddha just for peace of mind, and of course they also had piety... Master Tripitaka is also a holy Buddha.

Isn't it more useful to worship a living holy Buddha than to worship those stone statues and golden bodies?

This Ci'en Temple is not so much a temple.

Rather, it is a school. The difference is that this school does not teach Confucianism, but Buddhism.

Open the gates of the mountain widely and teach knowledge to the disciples... This is the insight Fahai gained after discussing Taoism with the sage Confucius in the Fire Cloud Cave.

Faced with Jin Guangxian's question, Fahai didn't say anything else. Instead, he asked Jin Guangxian for advice: "I wonder if there is any statue of the immortal Buddha enshrined in Luojia Mountain in the South China Sea of Bodhisattva?"

Well...

Jin Guangxian was speechless for a moment...because the Bodhisattva's Luojiashan ashram was indeed clean.

It is said that the Bodhisattva was born to teach and worship the Sanqing Taoist ancestors as a matter of course, but she "rebelled" from Taoism and joined Buddhism;

Originally, the two saints of Western religions and the two Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of Hinayana Buddhism had no close relationship with them;

In addition, in today's Mahayana Buddhism, although the leader is the Tathagata Buddha, there is more of a Bodhisattva's effort... After going back and forth, there is really no one to worship in the Nanhai Luojia Mountain Dojo.
