Chapter 544: There are still some twists and turns; we must not know the devil

The first reason why their master and disciple did not go to Lingshan Mountain immediately was that they met the Bodhi tree and meditated under the Bodhi tree for half a day; secondly, they were stayed by the Golden Summit Immortal of Yuzhen Temple at the foot of Lingshan Mountain.

This Golden Summit Immortal is really extraordinary. He is obviously a true Taoist cultivator, but he opened a Taoist temple at the foot of Lingshan Mountain. However, Lingshan Mountain did not dare to raise any objections. This can be regarded as a strange story in the Three Realms.

There were even a lot of "dirty" remarks made about it, which aroused speculation.

But this golden-topped immortal established his dojo at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, which really makes people think more...

"At that time, because Guanyin Bodhisattva said that it takes three years for Buddhist scripture seekers to arrive at Lingshan, Jinding Daxian waited outside the temple for more than ten years. Therefore, when their master and disciples arrived at Lingshan, Jinding Daxian knew that Tathagata Buddha had already summoned all the Buddhas and monks.

They were waiting in the Great Leiyin Temple, but they still kept Master Tripitaka in the temple, making them wait one more night to ensure the cause and effect... But just by waiting, their master and disciples discovered something strange."

"What's so strange?" Nuwa asked immediately.

"That night they rested in Yuzhen Temple, but they saw a cloud of black mist emerging from the Jieyin Temple. Sanzang sent Wukong to investigate, but unexpectedly learned that Jieyin Buddha was having a secret meeting with a man named 'Wutian Demon Ancestor'

Devil."

"Wutian."

When the saints learned from Master Xuandu that Wutian appeared in Lingshan, they were not surprised.

It's just that when several saints looked at Zhunti Bodhisattva, they inevitably looked strange... Others didn't know it, but Taiqing Saint and Yuanshi Tianzun heard it from the leader of Tongtian Cult, saying that he could see the disciples of the Western Sect.

There are only two people with superior eyes, one is Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva now, and the other... is Kinnara Bodhisattva back then.

It's a pity... that I ended up like this. Although it was an opportunity to escape into the demon world, it was also a pity.

The invasion of Lingshan by Demon Ancestor Wutian is exactly the disaster that will happen after the great rise of Buddhism.

Wutian Demon Ancestor would be there when Sanzang and the others entered Lingshan... maybe they just came to investigate in advance, but unexpectedly they were discovered directly by Sanzang.

But in the eyes of the saints today, there seems to be nothing surprising about this matter... It would be a surprise if Master and Disciple Sanzang could not find traces of Wu Tian based on their abilities.

The fact that Wutian will make a comeback is not a big deal in the eyes of the Second Saints of the West. Even if they are not in the Three Realms, there are still so many powerful people in the Three Realms, and they will not let Wutian mess around.

Even though he has become the Great Sage of the Demon Realm and can borrow the power of the Demon Realm... there is still a big gap in the size of the Demon Realm compared to the Three Realms.

However, Master Xuandu's next words made them fall into silence again: "Wutian's black lotus incarnation once had a battle with Master Sanzang on the bank of Tongtian River. The two sides seemed to be indifferent, but in fact it was because

Wutian's black lotus incarnation has exhausted its power, and the winner cannot be determined..."

They knew that Tang Sanzang's magic power was not weak anymore, but they didn't expect... that he could actually tie the fight with Wutian's incarnation, and maybe even gain the upper hand.

You must know that the existence of Wutian is precisely to weaken the destiny of Buddhism. This principle of prosperity must decline, the two sages of the West are very clear.

In order to prevent Buddhism from becoming the next sect, Saint Zhunti started making plans early, but now it seems that... this matter has become increasingly wrong.

Originally, the key to dealing with Wu Tian was to defeat the Buddha in a battle after the Great Sage Qitian entered the Buddha. Because he was one of the four monkeys in the world... his "earth aura" turned into a boneless relic, which could completely defeat Wu Tian.

The demonic energy in Tian's body...

But now, even if Wutian's true form reaches the Three Realms, whether he can pass the test of Master Tripitaka is open to question.

Things in the Three Realms can no longer be viewed with the old sunshine.

In just a dozen years, just because of the existence of Tang Sanzang, the entire Three Realms have undergone such earth-shaking changes... which has to make all the saints wary.

Even in many cases, they don't know the existence of Master Tripitaka. For them, whether it is an advantage or a disadvantage, Saint Chunti is especially confused about this.

"The battle between Sanzang and Wutian will be discussed in detail later..."

For now, we still need to finish talking about Lingshan first.

Moreover, the five masters and disciples had their own opportunities to cross the Lingyun Ferry. The biggest gain among them was of course Enlightenment. They gave up their dead bodies and gained a spiritual Buddha body, truly cultivating themselves.

When their masters and disciples arrived at the Mahavira Hall, the Buddha asked them to take the true scriptures and send them to the Tang Dynasty, and then return to Lingshan to debate the scriptures, the saints were also very impressed.

Empress Nuwa even said bluntly: "Manjusri has already entered reincarnation. How many people in Lingshan can argue with Tripitaka?"

Yuanshi Tianzun also looked at the two saints Zhunti and Jieying, and said with a smile: "Originally, the journey to the West was not about debating scriptures and discussing Buddhism, right?"

Zhunti said to Saint Taiqing: "I wonder what you think?"

Sage Taiqing looked indifferent and chuckled: "It is said that the more Buddha debates, the more enlightened he becomes... Tripitaka is the holy Buddha of the current world, and since he goes to Lingshan to debate scriptures with other Buddhas, isn't this a good thing for Buddhism?"

In fact, for Saint Taiqing, when the position of Buddha at Lingshan was taken over by the Tathagata Many Treasures, the current situation of Buddhism was no longer in his mind.

Now that Tang Sanzang comes out, Buddhism will only become more and more chaotic. Even if Tang Sanzang really did not accept the great achievement of Lingshan's promotion, as the Chunti sage suspected, it was because he had self-realized the Tathagata of the Hinayana teachings, then

The result is just the coexistence of Mahayana and Hinayana, with at best a tantric teaching.

Buddhism, which is divided into three parts, is naturally not a bad thing for Taoism.

In fact, it is not difficult to guess the thoughts of the saints. Master Xuandu said in his heart: I hope that when I unveil the "real" veil of Master Tripitaka, you will still have the same thoughts.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! "When their master and disciples arrived at the Sutra Pavilion, they were just one step away from getting the true sutra... but there were still some twists and turns."

"At this point, what troubles can there be?" This was asked by the sage Chunti.

The saints were also a little surprised. After all, even the Buddha asked them to take the scriptures and send them to the Tang Dynasty. What twists and turns could there be?

Master Xuandu saw that the appetite of the saints was whetted, so he looked in the direction of Saint Zhunti and said matter-of-factly: "Actually, it's not a big deal, it's just because of a rule from Lingshan.

The two Venerables, Jiaye and Anuo, were reluctant to teach the scriptures, which almost angered Master Tripitaka and his disciples and burned down the Sutra Pavilion."

Zhunti Sage:???

Are there any rules I don't know about?

"It is said that Nagaye said this at that time..." Master Xuandu was a little emotional, and then said: "It's not that they don't want to teach the scriptures, it's just that this Lingshan has always had a rule... The scriptures should not be taught lightly. The so-called passing the scriptures with bare hands

After this generation, the descendants will starve to death... Therefore, we need some personnel."

Master Xuandu glanced at Saint Zhunti, as if to ask, these rules... were set by Saint Zhunti, right?

All the saints also believed it, because this was indeed like the behavior of Saint Zhunti. Even if he was wrongly blamed, it would not be an injustice.

After hearing these words, the saints could probably guess the reaction of Tripitaka and his disciples. They were able to resist demolishing or burning the Sutra Pavilion, which was considered extremely restrained.

In fact, the Great Sage was already on the verge of going berserk. If the master hadn't stopped him, and if Gaye and Anuo were quick to admit their mistakes, he would have beaten them both unconscious.

Sage Zhunti also knew that his reputation in the Three Realms had long been ruined.

Therefore, there is no further explanation for this matter. Although this traditional art of "human affairs" did not originate from him, Sage Zhunti felt that it was very reasonable, especially in the context of "the scriptures should not be passed down lightly"

Five words, it would be more in line with his wishes.

"Where's the back?" Nuwa, the empress, asked urgently to know what happened.

Master Xuandu also casually told the story of the "Wordless Scripture".

The saints also cooperated and praised Master Tripitaka for his understanding, and they had no objection to his identity as Tripitaka Saint Tathagata.

"Their masters and disciples are also wonderful people. Even if they get the wordless scripture, they are not satisfied...Although they have obtained the wordless scripture, they still have to take the wordless scripture." Master Xuandu smiled and said,

Then he said: "Master Tripitaka asked Wukong to throw all the belongings that they had collected along the way in front of the Tathagata Buddha in the Mahavira Hall... and asked Tathagata Buddha whether these belongings could be used to collect the real inscriptions.

Already gone?"

Originally, all the saints thought that this rogue monkey had a good master, but after hearing Master Xuandu talk about the "difficulties and obstacles" that their master and apprentice had along the way, and how they "extricated themselves", they could only sigh -

—You are not a stranger, you don’t enter the same house.

"In the end, the Buddha used his magical power to disperse the wealth to the three realms and help the poor people... But Master Tripitaka and his disciples directly emptied the entire Lingshan Sutra Pavilion, including the cabinets, of all the scriptures."

When Master Xuandu heard the news for the first time, he opened his eyes wide in surprise. Isn't this a bandit entering the mountain? Isn't this...

Want them all.

This is really the style of their master and disciple.

"What did Tathagata Buddha say?" Jieyin Buddha wanted to know Tathagata Buddha's attitude.

"Tathagata Buddha has no objection to this." Master Xuandu bowed his hands to the Buddha and said: "Because there were exactly 15,144 people in Lingshan at that time, and the scriptures in the Tongzang Sutra Pavilion were

The number of texts is the same... Therefore, the Buddha set out questions, each question is a dictation of the content of a volume of scriptures, and asked the monks to draw one each to complete the Sutra Pavilion."

All Saints:...

This is also a development direction they have never thought of.

But in fact, if you think about it carefully, this is not a bad thing. At least to a certain extent, it can be regarded as testing the knowledge level of the Lingshan monks.

Many of them were those who fished in troubled waters and showed their true colors. Although they were not dealt with at the time, they were undoubtedly on the blacklist... If they can return to their lost ways and practice well in the future, there may be another opportunity, but if they are still

If you persist in your obsession, retribution will come sooner or later.

"The monks in Lingshan wrote scriptures silently, and Tripitaka and his disciples returned to the Tang Dynasty on clouds. It was when they returned to the Tang Dynasty that they met Wu Tian, who claimed to be the Demon Ancestor, by the Tongtian River."

"When they met Jieyin Buddha at Lingyundu before, their master and disciple asked Jieyin Buddha about Wutian Demon Ancestor. Jieyin Buddha did not hide from them that Wutian Demon Ancestor wanted to rob the scripture. In fact,

Tell each other."

One wants to seize the sutra, and the other protects it. Neither side has much room for change, so a war is about to break out.

"It is said that Demon Patriarch Wutian received a promise from Tathagata Buddha, saying that as long as he can defeat Master Tripitaka, he will let him take away the scriptures, and when Tathagata Buddha passes away, he will take over the mastership of Lingshan Mountain.

seat."

"How could Duobao make such a promise?" Empress Nuwa was curious at first, and then said with great certainty: "I think Duobao probably thinks that the self-proclaimed Demon Ancestor of Wutian is not Sanzang's opponent."

In fact, this is also true. Wutian did not defeat Master Tripitaka.

However, after the saints listened to many details of the battle between Master Tripitaka and Demon Ancestor Wutian, they no longer wanted to count how many times they had lost their composure today.

Buddha and devil are one.

Become a Buddha with just one thought, become a demon with just one thought... That is because Master Xuandu has witnessed such scenes with his own eyes, so the scene described here is actually much exaggerated than the reality.

After all, when Master Xuandu saw Sanzang's demonic aura revealed, it was a year later. Naturally, it was not comparable to the time when he fought against Wutian Demon Ancestor at Tongtian River.

At that time, Master Tripitaka once said - If a young monk is not talented, he will not become a Buddha, let alone a demon.

Later, Tripitaka realized that he was the "Holy Tathagata Tripitaka", but he himself never claimed this "honorable title" and attended any occasion.

Of course, if others insist on calling him "Sanzang Tathagata", then he has no choice...

In fact, Master Tripitaka had another sentence that deeply touched Master Xuandu, which is: "Buddhas do not fall into the devil, but they must not be ignorant of the devil."

As the saying goes, knowing oneself and the enemy means you can fight a hundred battles without danger. Master Xuandu believes that he still needs to know more about the demons outside the territory.

Therefore, he also hopes that the Demon Realm will be connected with the Three Realms as soon as possible. When that time comes, whether it is a fight or a peace, he will have the opportunity to bring Master Tripitaka to Xuandu City.

In fact, Master Sanzang has already made preparations to go to Xuandu City. He will only wait for the catastrophe to pass and the three realms to be stable, then go to Xuandu City to join Wukong. Master and disciple will work together in Xuandu City to save those who dare to go to the three realms.

An extraterrestrial demon launching an attack.

"After defeating the great sage Wutian of the Demon Realm, the fact that Master Sanzang possesses demonic nature is no longer a big secret in the Three Realms... Some demons even want to invite Master Sanzang Luocao to become the king."

The fate of these monsters was very miserable, and they were turned into ashes by the flames of the Buddha.

Obviously, he has no interest in becoming the Demon King Tripitaka...it's just a pity that he has so much demonic nature.

"When Sanzang finally returned to Chang'an City...not to mention the scene, the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty, Li Shimin, personally greeted him outside the city."
