Chapter 66: Only if you can succeed or not can you become a great virtue

There is an old saying in the world that there is no resurrection after death.

But in this world of gods and demons, this is not an ordinary thing. Immortals and Buddhas have their own ways of returning a mortal to the world, or arranging the reincarnation of demons.

Even in realms such as Heaven and Lingshan, if you want to arrange a reincarnation, you don't need to go through the six paths of reincarnation.

But here in Fahai, he can't see evil people getting away with it even after committing crimes. So what if he is punished and loses his life?

You can still be reincarnated and be reborn in a grand way.

At that time, he killed for the sake of killing and entered the devil's path, and he has taken it as a warning to this day. Now he is killing his karma to protect living beings, which is to uncover the true nature and transcend the sin of killing.

The Yellow Wind Rat has entered the golden bowl and has no chance of survival.

The flames of the Buddha approached and screamed repeatedly. Bajie trembled all over when he saw it... He would never forget that feeling, and he would not dare to experience it a second time.

The Great Sage seemed to notice something unusual, and reached out to touch the Buddha flame that was still unextinguished on the Master's body, and hissed——

As soon as his fingertips touched, he felt a sharp pain. He quickly retracted his hand. Although the hair on his fingers was not damaged, the pain that originated from his soul was definitely not fake.

"Master, this!"

"You, a ruthless monkey, have killed countless lives in the first half of your life. You are covered with the sin of killing, so you cannot bear the flames of Buddha." Fa Hai glanced at him and said with a smile, "You don't think you are really a decent demon god, do you?"

The Great Sage was thoughtful, took a step forward, and put his hand deep into it again. This time he was mentally prepared, and he lasted for about one breath, then his face turned pale and he was sweating all over.

"Haha." Fahai smiled when he saw this: "The first time I used this Buddha flame to burn my body to exercise, I only lasted for half a breath. If you are willing, you can also include this item starting from tonight.

Practice your studies.”

Wukong grasped the key point and asked curiously: "Master is also guilty?"

"Who among all living beings in the world is without sin?" Seeing that the Yellow Wind Rat had been saved, Fahai clasped his hands together and said, "If the poor monk cannot bear the pain of being burned by the Buddha's flames, how can he use this method to save these evil demons?"

Lingshan.

There is only Guanyin Bodhisattva in front of the Tathagata Seat.

"Bodhisattva, can you gain something from this trip?"

"The golden cicada reincarnated Tang Sanzang, and now he is a mortal, exercising the divine power of Arhat. Although he is in the world of mortals, he is beyond the false thoughts of Buddha and can see the essence... A poor monk who sees this will not become a Buddha, but he is also a great virtue in this world.

"Senior Monk." Bodhisattva is very kind and compassionate, but she does not use her own code of conduct to restrain all sentient beings in the world.

All things have spirits, and each has its own laws. It is dependent on origin and destruction, just like illusion but not empty.

The worldly ashram is essentially a practice. What’s more, if everyone is like her, wouldn’t everyone in the three realms be a Bodhisattva?

I'm afraid even the Buddhas in Lingshan would like to see such a scene. If there are no living beings who cannot afford to perish in this world, where will their incense come from?

Do they only rely on believers in their respective Buddhist countries?

"Listening to the Bodhisattva's words, it seems that Tang Sanzang cannot become a Buddha." The Tathagata's eyes were like a torch, and he heard the hidden meaning.

"Amitabha." The Bodhisattva raised his head and looked at the Tathagata: "This poor monk has not yet become a Buddha."

Tathagata remained silent, but looked towards the direction of the East China Sea, which was a fairy island shrouded by a sword array. Even with his eyesight, he could not see through the sword array or see anything about it.

Zheng——

There seemed to be a sound of sword sound.

The Tathagata closed his eyes subconsciously, and opened them again after a moment, with a look of fatigue on his face. Then a ray of Buddha's light circulated, and the Tathagata's golden body no longer had any vision. He slowly said: "If you can achieve it, you will be a great virtue."

"Good!" the Bodhisattva clasped his hands together.

"This is for me, Buddha Tathagata." The Bodhisattva paused, and then said: "The master of the Tantric religion has escaped from trouble recently, and it seems to be related to Tripitaka."

"Xuan Zang traveled to the west, Buddhism was in full swing, and Tantric Buddhism was also a branch of Buddhism. This was also his opportunity to escape from the predicament. Has the Bodhisattva met the leader of the Tantric sect?"

"He saw the poor monk and left. The poor monk called out behind him, 'Fellow Taoist, please stay.' Who would have thought that he simply used the art of transforming into a rainbow, and in an instant he disappeared without a trace, and no one knows where he went...

I just hope he doesn’t listen to this and goes into seclusion for hundreds of years..."

Tathagata:...

At this time, Lingji Bodhisattva hurried to Lingshan Mountain, and a novice came in and reported: "Buddha, great master... Lingji Bodhisattva from Xiaoxumi Mountain wants to see you."

"Invite him in."

"yes."

Before Bodhisattva Lingji came in, Tathagata Tathagata spoke first: "Lingji, do you know that you are wrong?"

"The poor monk realizes his mistake." Lingji Bodhisattva lowered his head. He himself came to apologize.

"What's wrong?"

"The mistake was that the Yellow Wind Rat should not have been released privately, so that it brought disaster to Huangfengling." When Lingji Bodhisattva said this, he looked at the Bodhisattva and Tathagata with quite complicated eyes. It was true that the Yellow Wind Rat was released privately.

With the secret instructions of these two people, they only asked him to place the Yellow Wind Rat in Huangfengling to cause trouble for Tang Sanzang on his way to the west. But they did not let the Yellow Wind Rat occupy the mountain and become the king, eat people and do evil, causing harm to the whole party.

...but he was indulgent.

He couldn't afford this debt.

Moreover, the Bodhisattva also did his best to be benevolent and sent Hui'an Traveler to convey the message in time. However, he was unable to rescue the Yellow Wind Rat and could not blame others.

Neither Tathagata nor Bodhisattva spoke, and the scene was a little quiet for a while.

Lingji Bodhisattva was stunned for a moment, then lowered his head and said: "The poor monk has lost the magic weapon given by the Buddha, the flying dragon staff."

"Now that you know your mistake, go into seclusion and reflect on it yourself."

"Respect the law and decree."

After Lingji Bodhisattva left, Guanyin Bodhisattva reluctantly asked: "Buddha, is the resurgence of Jin Chanzi's true spirit also involved in the conspiracy?"

"No." The Buddha shook his head and smiled again: "There are many sluggards among the Buddhas in Lingshan. Now we are using golden cicadas to put some pressure on them, which may have a miraculous effect."

...

Master Sanzang here is able to save the yellow wind monster.

The little white dragon in the back mountain sat on a rock. Under the seat were more than ten little demons, including cunning rabbits, demon foxes, fragrant deers, and horned deers...

"I want you to know that I, the third prince of the Dragon King of the West Sea, am now worshiping the eminent monk Tripitaka of the Tang Dynasty, traveling all the way west to kill... Well, I punish evil and promote good, and promote Buddhism... Now I see the yellow wind monster occupying the mountain

As a king, he is a villain in the world, and my master takes action to save him."

"You are originally elves in the mountains, and you were kidnapped by the demon king and worked as slaves in the demon cave. My teacher remembers that you have no choice but to become thieves, and the crime will not lead to death.

Please let me rescue you and give you a way to survive." The little white dragon sat at the top and simply manifested his half-dragon form, covering the group of monsters with the righteous aura of the dragon god.

After hearing this, the demons all kowtowed and thanked the eminent monk of the Tang Dynasty and the Dragon King for not killing him.

"Although I'm letting you live now, I also want to tell you that in the future you must wholeheartedly do good. If you dare to do evil, I will save you with my own hands, even if it's the end of the world."

The group of demons kowtowed again and again, not daring to speak.

"I sincerely ask the prince to leave a volume of Buddhist scriptures for us to recite day and night and sincerely do good deeds."

Xiao Bailong thought for a while, stood up, took out his sword, waved his hand and carved half a volume of Buddhist scriptures on the stone wall behind him. As for why it was half a volume... it was because he had only learned this part of this Buddhist scripture.

After he handed down this half volume of Buddhist scriptures, he went to find his master.

The four masters and apprentices set off on the road again. The surviving little monsters from Huangfengling did not want to go back to the Huangfeng Cave, so they built a small temple in front of the stone wall with Buddhist scriptures carved on it.

What is enshrined in the temple is neither the gods in heaven nor the Buddhas in Lingshan, but a human statue with the head of a dragon. The plaque on the door of the temple reads: Temple of the Third Prince Dragon King.

The four masters and disciples only walked for one day before crossing Huangfengling.

Going further west, I passed through the land of Pingyang safely through summer and autumn. In the past half year, I didn't encounter any powerful monsters on the road, but every time I practiced at night, I could hear the great sage screaming and moaning in pain from time to time.

Bajie felt much more relaxed, after all, he no longer had to listen to his senior brother reciting sutras.

But today, the way was blocked, and there was only a huge wave of water and turbulent waves directly ahead.
