Chapter 68: The same goes for old pigs

Legend has it that these words were spoken by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva when he entered hell;

It is also said that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva only said at that time, "If hell is not empty, I will never become a Buddha. Only when all sentient beings are saved can I realize Bodhi." And "If I don't go to hell, who will go to hell?" was the thought of the Buddha's observation.

No matter what, Fa Hai believes that this is the essence of Mahayana Buddhism to save all sentient beings, and it is also the code of conduct for Buddhist monks walking in the world.

Fa Hai is not only capable of slaying demons, otherwise he would not be called a high monk.

The situation before him may have been a pre-arranged test, but if he just sat idly by and just crossed the river in such a grand manner, he would be destroying his practice. With his nature, he would never be able to do such a thing.

"Wukong."

"Master." The great sage heard his master calling him and stepped forward quickly.

"You are looking at your luggage on the shore...Bajie, Xiaobailong."

"Master." The two apprentices also quickly stepped forward to listen.

"You two follow our master into the river to save the souls of your enemies."

"yes!"

Fahai put on his brocade cassock and handed the flying dragon staff to Xiao Bailong. He held the nine-ring tin staff in one hand and the Water Avoidance Technique in the other, and walked step by step into the Liusha River.

The brocade cassock is a good treasure, it has the effect of being invulnerable to water and fire. If it is not too ostentatious, Fa Hai would like to wear it all the time.

Soon, the three masters and apprentices went to the bottom of the water.

As Xiao Bailong said, it was like an underwater hell, with wreckage everywhere and innocent souls everywhere.

There was just one thing that Fa Hai couldn't figure out. Is this situation in front of him really left behind by the Bodhisattva?

It is reasonable to say that the Bodhisattva saved the soul of the Curtain-curling Heavenly General and left a physical body here; it is also reasonable to leave the resentment of the nine generations of pilgrims to be dealt with by himself... But looking at the countless people in front of him

Wrong soul, Fa Hai had a question mark in his heart.

Fa Hai did not start to save these wronged souls for the time being. He first looked at the body of the God of Sin, which was guarded by nine headless skeletons in the middle. It was also an extremely ferocious image, much better than the Pig Gang Hye at that time.

He had fiery red hair that was as fluffy as flames; his eyes were open angrily, although they were lifeless, they were still terrifying.

His face was neither black nor blue, except for a few fangs. There were nine skulls hanging around his neck, which were the Buddhist scriptures of the ninth Tang Sanzang. There was also a treasure staff inserted beside him.

, quite ferocious.

"Master." Seeing that Master stopped moving forward, Xiao Bailong asked in a low voice: "But what's wrong?"

"If it were just these ordinary resentful spirits, it would not be a big problem. What is a bit troublesome is the resentment left by the nine previous generations of pilgrims. These resentments have almost condensed into substance. If you want to completely resolve them, you must

It can be accomplished overnight." Fa Hai showed a rare expression of embarrassment, "At first glance, it could take at least one or two years, or as long as ten years. There is no definite number."

"Why does it take so long?" Bajie and Xiaobailong were shocked when they heard this. Xiaobailong saw clearly that those souls that had been wronged for hundreds of years were not ordinary in the master's mouth, but were instead the souls of these nine people from previous lives.

Resentment makes Master difficult.

Aren't these nine Buddhist scripture seekers the Master's own previous life?

Wouldn't it be easier to resolve your own resentments by yourself?

Fa Hai spoke up to explain their doubts: "The more tenacious the mind, the more difficult it is to resolve the resentment. What's more, these nine resentments are intertwined with the body of the general who rolls the curtain, and I am afraid he will not let it go.

To be saved by my teacher."

After listening to the Master's words, the two of them suddenly had some understanding. How tenacious is the Master's mind? These nine Buddhist scripture seekers are from the Master's previous life, and their minds are not too far apart. These nine Buddhist scripture learners have lived in nine lives.

They all died at the mouth of the Liusha River Sin God, and the resentment that arose was so huge and solid that it was difficult to resolve, so it was not that surprising.

Although Bajie and Xiaobailong compare "Fahai", Fahai himself knows that Master Tripitaka himself has a stronger belief in going to the West to learn scriptures.

Especially since he is still an ordinary person, he is even more precious. The Buddhist scripture collectors in the previous nine lives are all the same.

"Is there no other way?" Bajie scratched his head and said, "Master, why don't we go and invite Guanyin Bodhisattva... I didn't say anything about being an old pig."

Fa Hai has always refused to ask for help. In fact, he has a spirit of unwillingness to admit defeat. Moreover, in the situation in front of him, he is not without any tricks. How can he ask for help so easily?

"Amitabha." Fa Hai recited the Buddha's name, and then assigned a task to the two disciples: "If we deal with the body of this sinful god first, we will definitely not have time to take care of these resentful spirits. If we let it scatter in the world, it will be a huge disaster.

Disaster. I want to save these resentful spirits first and return the Liusha River to a clean water. But the walking corpses wrapped in resentment may not be peaceful and will definitely take the opportunity to sneak attack and disrupt my practice..."

Start simple and take your time step by step. Being impatient will not solve the problem, and may even be counterproductive.

Fahai thought for a while and said: "For the present plan, only you two can stop this walking corpse when I am trying to save the resentful spirits as my master. You will never let him get close to me."

Xiao Bailong immediately patted his chest: "Master, don't worry, with Ao Lie here, he will be stopped ten steps away from master!"

Bajie quickly followed, "Old Zhu, too."

...

Lingshan.

Daleiyin Temple, Main Hall.

"First the golden cicada forcibly saved the canopy, and then you saved the soul of the rolling curtain. After all, this move still harmed the heaven." The Tathagata Buddha sat on the throne with his face filled with Buddha light, and the golden halo behind him showed his power.

and merit.

At this moment, Tathagata Buddha looked at Guanyin Bodhisattva who looked like a breeze, and felt that she did not seem to feel the pressure brought by her journey to the west.

"Have you ever been to Liusha River later?"

"Since returning the soul of the Curtain-curling Heavenly General to the Jade Emperor, I met the Great Sun Tathagata on the way down from the Heavenly Court, and then returned to Lingshan Mountain. I have never even left the Great Hall." The Bodhisattva shook his head, but he knew that the Buddha was not innocent.

Man, he must have another reason for saying this, so he asked again: "Counting the time, Tang Monk and his disciples should have arrived at Liusha River by now. The poor monk saved the soul of the general who rolled the curtain, leaving only

His body, as well as the corpses and resentments of the previous nine generations of pilgrims...could it be that something happened to the Liusha River?"

The Bodhisattva was quite perceptive, and it only took him a few words to realize that something was wrong with the Liusha River.

"There are rumors from Ksitigarbha that not long ago the Yin Division secretly released a group of innocent souls and suppressed them in the Liusha River."

"Amitabha." The Bodhisattva recited the Buddha's name. She showed compassion and said, "This is a karmic obstacle, and it arises because of me. I will be punished... The poor monk is willing to go to the Liusha River again to calm it down."

This misfortune."

"Wait a minute." Tathagata opened his mouth and called the Bodhisattva to stop.

The Bodhisattva paused but did not look back, "The Buddha kept the poor monk until now before telling the truth. He must have deliberately not let me go."

"If he were just Tang Sanzang, the poor monk would not stop you. Now that he has awakened the true spirit of Jin Chanzi, why do you have to protect him every step of the way?" The Buddha said with a smile: "Let's see if he has any

Make progress."

The Bodhisattva turned around and asked again: "Do you know the hands and feet of those innocent souls who were secretly released in the Liusha River and suppressed?"

"A close minister to the Jade Emperor."

"This person's heart is evil and his methods are vicious. He is really not a virtuous person." The Bodhisattva shook his head slightly and said, "This time he acted like this. On the one hand, he can hinder Sanzang's journey to the west; on the other hand, he will ruin my reputation. It seems that he has taken advantage of it.

Taking advantage of opportunities is actually a recipe for disaster...If he doesn't know how to restrain himself, he may suffer disaster."
