Chapter 696: The rumors are not credible; they are not a good thing
Everyone obviously didn't expect that it didn't matter if they didn't make a calculation. After doing the calculation... two candidates were chosen.
But this is not a bad thing. Even from the perspective of Li Chunfeng and Bajie, they still have less to worry about.
Because whether it is Bai Ze or Chijiri Mahou, they are all experts at seeking good luck and avoiding disaster... If it were really them, would they choose to come to Liangshan at this time to go against the Tang Dynasty?
This is obviously contrary to their magical powers.
As for such things as using a small amount to make a big difference, it will never happen to them.
Take Bai Ze for example. His magical powers are actually very similar to those of the six-eared macaque and Di Ting. Why are the reputations of Di Ting and the six-eared macaque always heard in the Three Realms, while Bai Ze almost seems to have disappeared?
This is the reason. Not to mention Xiao Bo Da, if there is even the slightest risk at this time, it may not be enough to induce the two of them to take action.
Tingting is the worst in this aspect, but it also has its own method, which is to find a backer that can protect itself... Therefore, it became the spiritual pet of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, relying on Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's protection,
Only by listening carefully can we continue to "act recklessly" in the three realms, otherwise we would have become the "food on the plate" for the powerful ones.
And the six-eared macaque is good at listening to sounds, can sense things, know the front and back, and everything is clear... Although he is not as good as Bai Ze and the red horse monkey in pursuing good luck and avoiding evil, he is obviously better than Di Ting.
There is only one end, so it hides for longer than listening.
But that was the limit, because when the Great Sage was born and Tripitaka traveled to the west, he finally couldn't hold it in anymore and took action brazenly - and the result was that he almost lost his life. If Fahai had taken pity on him, he might not be where he is now.
Opportunity.
Others may not know the fate of the six-eared macaque, but Fahai has heard the legend of the other party... Back then, Sanzang was driven away because of Wukong's killing of bandits... As a result, the six-eared macaque took advantage of the situation and wanted to
Pretending to be Wukong, he sneaked into the Buddhist scripture-seeking team... But Sanzang was furious at that time, and of course he refused to forgive Wukong. When he was not accepted, the six-eared macaque snatched the customs clearance document, saluted him, and returned to Huaguo Mountain to use it.
The seventy-two transformations turned several monkeys into the appearance of their masters and disciples, and they wanted to go to the West to learn the scriptures...
Later, Wu Jing, who came to ask for the customs clearance document, beat his own fake body to death, but because he was no match for the six-eared macaque, he fled to the South China Sea to complain to Guanyin Bodhisattva.
After meeting the real master at Guanyin Bodhisattva's place, I realized that the person who robbed master of the customs clearance document turned out to be the fake monkey king.
What followed was a battle between the real and fake Monkey King. Their methods were almost the same. They fought from Huaguo Mountain to Luojia Mountain, from Nanhai to Nantianmen. It is said that even the Bodhisattva and the Jade Emperor could not tell the difference between them.
Each one is true or false.
Outsiders couldn't tell the difference, so the two of them went to the master to let the master and his two junior brothers distinguish it, but it was still difficult to distinguish the true from the false.
In the end, he ran away to the underworld and asked the king of hell to distinguish it. The ten palaces of hell asked the birth and death books to be checked. However, because the great sage made a big fuss in the underworld when he was young and attained enlightenment, his name of death was written off. Since then, all monkeys are
, completely nameless...
Later, I went to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and I heard the difference between them.
But Di Ting also heard the origin and ability of this "six-eared macaque", and just said to his master: "Although he has a strange name, he cannot be revealed to his face, nor can he help capture him."
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva also understood very well and knew that this matter would eventually be a difficulty on the journey to the west. Since it was difficult for him to deal with it, he took the opportunity to direct the two of them to Lingshan to let Tathagata Buddha distinguish the true from the false.
Unexpectedly, the fake Wukong really dared to come to the door, and was finally exposed by Tathagata Buddha. When he wanted to escape, he was covered by Tathagata Buddha's alms bowl and could not escape.
Then he lifted up the alms bowl and saw the original image, which was a six-eared macaque. The great sage couldn't help but pick up the iron rod and beat it to death with a blow on the head.
This is the true and false story of the Monkey King that Fahai knows.
It was this incident that caused quite a stir that year. After all, Master Sanzang and his disciples traveled westward. Although there were many difficulties and obstacles, there were few disasters that could alarm Lingshan.
Therefore, it is still spread among the three realms, so Fa Hai also knows a little bit about the true and false Monkey King stories.
It is said that after the real and fake Monkey King, Wukong truly returned to his heart. He and his master never had any bad feelings along the way. From then on, it can be said that master and disciple are of one mind and go to Lingshan together.
Therefore, there is another rumor in the Three Realms.
That was the one who was beaten to death in Lingshan that year, not the six-eared macaque... but Zhen Wukong.
The original appearance of the six ears under the alms bowl was forcibly changed by the Buddha with his magical powers. The reason why "True Wukong" killed him with such force was to silence him and avoid future troubles.
But Di Ting didn't dare to speak, not because he didn't dare to tell the identity of the six-eared macaque. After all, there was Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in the underworld. Even if he revealed the other party's heel and legs, wouldn't he be able to defeat a six-eared macaque if he teamed up with Zhen Wukong?
Basically, Diting actually heard about Lingshan's plan to use the six-eared macaque to defeat Zhen Wukong. He was afraid that the identity of the six-eared macaque would be revealed here, which would ruin Lingshan's plan, so he found such an excuse.
This also explains why the six-eared macaque dares to go to Lingshan... It's not that he has confidence in his magical powers and is sure that the Buddha can't tell the difference... but that he himself is Lingshan's scheme, and this move is just to make money.
When Wukong entered Lingshan Mountain, his luggage was replaced by Tao Zong, which turned out to be a plan to steal the sky and change the sun.
Of course, such rumors have not been confirmed, and no one dares to confirm them.
But what has to be said is that the later "Fighting Gods and Buddhas" did not have the demeanor of the "Monkey King" back then, and he really became a Buddhist protector.
Even his Taoist temple is not located in Huaguo Mountain, but is set up in Mount Emei, where he retreats and recites scriptures all day long.
This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! No matter what the truth of the matter is, in today's world, the Great Sage is obviously still the Great Sage, and has not lost his nature by joining Buddhism; Six-eared Macaque
I can also walk in the three realms openly, but I don’t know if Lingshan is satisfied with this result.
However, there is still a big difference between the spiritual mountains in this world and the spiritual mountains in my own world. Especially the Tathagata Buddha is quite different from the Buddha I know.
It's not that he is as inhumane as he imagined, otherwise he might not be able to tolerate such wanton behavior.
But no matter what, the life trajectory of the six-eared macaque has obviously deviated greatly from its original planned route... From this point of view, the six-eared macaque's original risk-taking was successful.
This is also done by the nature of the mind, and I am afraid that Bai Ze and Akashiri Mahou would not take such a risky move.
Even Bai Ze and Akashiri Mahou are very good at hiding themselves.
It seems that Bai Ze has left his name in the Three Realms. The top ten demon commanders of the demon clan at that time were also very powerful... and they are not traceable. But the red-ribbed horse monkey, no one really knows about him.
His whereabouts can be said to be the number one in avoiding disasters in the three realms.
There are rumors that Wuzhi Qi, the ruler of Huaihe River in those days, was actually a red-breasted horse monkey... But in fact, the two monkeys are not related.
It seems that no one has ever seen the true form of the Red Horse Monkey, and no one even knows the name of the Red Horse Monkey. Even when people count the four monkeys in the world, they often count the other three.
After that... I will get stuck here at Akashiri Mahou.
"Based on the way they act..." Li Chunfeng sighed helplessly, "Pindao actually didn't think they were the ones acting in Liangshan."
Bajie nodded and agreed with Li Chunfeng's judgment.
"But if it wasn't the two of them... then who could it be?" Fei Changfang scratched his head, his head was a little fried when he heard this.
Li Chunfeng and Bajie could only shake their heads, saying that they had no clue.
If it was really so easy to find the opponent's heel, Fei Changfang wouldn't have camped at the foot of Liangshan Mountain for so long and kept his troops stationary.
It can only be said that the opponent may not be as sensitive as Bai Ze and Akashiri Mahou in pursuing good fortune and avoiding disaster, but in terms of hiding carefully, they are not as sensitive as Bai Ze and Akashiri Mahou. They are a very difficult opponent.
Besides...the people who confronted Fei Changfang in Liangshan were not the old demon himself, but just a few of his disciples.
If it was really the old demon who took action personally, Fei Changfang would probably be in trouble.
The reason why the other party is so afraid of Fei Changfang is obviously because he is afraid of Datang's current power. Isn't he afraid of hurting Fei Changfang, but lured Xue Rengui over?
When that time comes, it will not end well.
The invincible Xue Rengui has become a symbol of Datang to the outside world, enough to deter those young people with evil intentions.
"Since we can't guess the opponent's whereabouts... where can we go into the mountain to find out?" The speaker was Li Bai. He looked at Fei Changfang and said, "Has the general sent any scouts into the mountain to investigate?"
At this time, Lan Caihe spoke, "This mountain is dangerous, easy to defend but difficult to attack... and there are sentries everywhere, both open and hidden, to provide cross-coverage. Especially, there is a thousand-year-old tree demon in the mountain, and its roots are almost everywhere.
It can be said that the entire Lingshan Mountain is its eyes and ears... Even the elite scouts in our army would have a hard time sneaking into it quietly without being discovered."
hiss--
Hearing Lan Caihe's words, Li Bai and Lu Dongbin looked at each other and said to themselves: This is really a hard time.
Liangshan is like an iron barrel, and there seems to be no loopholes that can be exploited.
"Is it possible to enter Liangshan by water?" Lu Dongbin changed his mind.
"It's difficult." Lan Caihe still shook his head, "There are also big monsters in the water. Although I am good at the Five Elements Escape Technique, in the water... I can't do anything about the water monster."
Of course they did not do nothing in Liangshan.
It was difficult for the army sergeants to penetrate Liangshan, but Lan Caihe, who was proficient in various escape techniques, was still able to deal with the monsters in Liangshan... Although the harvest was not huge, he also figured out the opponent's sentry settings step by step.
.
"Hmm..." Bajie pondered for a moment after hearing the words, "So, is there only one way left to attack?"
Li Chunfeng thought for a moment and said to Bajie: "Why don't Zen Master and Pindao go up the mountain together tomorrow to meet the demons of Liangshan Mountain and see with their own eyes what kind of place Liangshan Mountain is."
"good."
Bajie has exactly this meaning.
Li Chunfeng and Bajie are not good friends.
The former served as Li Shimin's protector and followed Li Shimin to "visit" the big monsters in Luzhou, Beiju, and challenge the ferocious beasts; the latter also saw many difficult monsters on his way westward... This big monster from Liangshan,
It may be a bit tricky for them, but it won't be too daunting for them.
The only thing I'm a little worried about is that now Liangshan is within the territory of the Tang Dynasty... so we can't act as unscrupulously as we do in other places. We have to be careful about escaping demons and endangering the surrounding people.
The next day.
Li Chunfeng and Bajie, together with Lu Dongbin and Li Bai, went up to Liangshan Mountain.
They didn't take the small path, so they went up the mountain on the main road, hoping to see how the monsters in Liangshan would deal with it... After all, their hard power was here.
Take the move.
Moreover, if we can take advantage of the fact that the opponent does not know the details of us and others, we can take the opportunity to attack Liangshan in one fell swoop, which can be regarded as saving a lot of effort.
But obviously...the demons in Liangshan are definitely not the rabble we have seen before.
In terms of discipline, it is several times stronger than most of the demons Bajie has seen on the way westward. I am afraid that the only ones that can be compared are the elite demons of the Bull Demon King and the Three Demons of Shituoling.
.
This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! It is limited to elite little monsters. After all, there are more little monsters, and they are still mixed.
But the little monsters here in Liangshan are different. Even in the eyes of Bajie and Li Chunfeng, they are very troublesome... Where did the monsters come from and what are their intentions to create such a monster in Liangshan?
Demon soldiers coming?
You must know that although the demon clan respects the strong, they are somewhat innately deficient in obedience, especially compared to the human clan, which is far different. If you want to train such a demon soldier who can obey orders and prohibitions, it does not cost a lot.
Kung fu, it’s not that easy to do.
Previously, the Demon King of Liangshan had no name in the Three Realms. If the incident of Onezawa Water God had not been exposed, the Tang Dynasty might not have known that there was such a demon army hidden within its borders.
This can be regarded as a wake-up call for Li Chunfeng.
He decided that after the Liangshan incident was resolved, he would join forces with Yuan Tiangang and Xue Rengui to conduct a large-scale and thorough investigation of the dangerous mountains in Datang. Otherwise, this would be a huge safety hazard.
If the Tang Dynasty continues to be strong, of course they will not dare to act rashly... But once the Tang Dynasty shows its flaws... it is very likely that they will suffer heavy losses.
Often the greatest harm comes from within.
There are many examples of this point from ancient times to the present, and Li Chunfeng had to pay attention to it.
At present, the chariot of the Tang Dynasty is about to gallop through the vast Three Realms. As a minister of the Tang Dynasty and Li Shimin's protector, Li Chunfeng has the responsibility to nip these hidden dangers in the bud and nip them in the bud.
Even if he can't do some dirty and tiring work, he can still tell Yuan Tiangang and Xue Rengui if it's wrong.
