All things in the world have spirituality. Whether it is the wind in the mountains, the stones on the roadside, the water in the pool, or the fire in the stove, they all have spirituality. Therefore, the wind in the mountains can turn into evil wind, and the stones on the roadside can turn into evil spirits.
The demon stone and the water in the pond can be transformed into demon water, and the fire in the stove can be transformed into demon fire.
These monsters are chaotic and disorderly, ignorant and cruel. Once they are generated, they will continue to destroy the surrounding environment. Moreover, the more people there are, the more these things like to appear.
Maybe when you are walking, big rocks on the roadside will sneak up on you. Maybe when you are drinking water, the water you drink will choke you to death. Maybe when you are lighting a fire to cook, the fire in the stove will come out and burn you to death.
Demons are everywhere.
The sky here was gray and seemed to be shrouded in mist. The young man put down a piece of meat and left, leaving Zhang Cundao to rest and recuperate.
The so-called "Feng meal and sleeping in the open air" means eating wind meat. Eating a piece of wind meat in the morning can often help you avoid eating for the whole day. This is also the origin of the habit of not eating after lunch.
Calm returned to the view, and both the master and the young man entered the room. Only then did Zhang Cundao have the opportunity to observe the place carefully.
This is a dilapidated Taoist temple. In the central hall are three headless statues of gods. They sit side by side. The paintings on the statues have long been mottled and faded.
On the left side of the main hall is the master's room, while on the right side is the room where Zhang Cundao and the young man live.
The room formed a small courtyard, and the courtyard door was tightly closed at the moment. He tried to walk to the courtyard door and push it open. But as soon as his hand touched the courtyard door, it was bounced away by an invisible force.
A complicated charm suddenly appeared on the courtyard door, and then slowly disappeared.
"No wonder you are so relieved, it turns out there is protection here." Zhang Cundao said to himself. The charm on the courtyard door was obviously to prevent him from escaping!
At this time, a wolf howl suddenly came from the master's room. The sound was full of pain and violence, and Zhang Cundao was frightened.
He immediately ran back to his room, closed the door, and then looked at the master's room through the gap in the door.
There were painful howls coming from his room, as well as the rustling sound of claws scratching things. The sound was so permeable that Zhang Cundao's heart was pounding wildly.
This painful howl continued for a long time, and when the sky gradually darkened, the sound gradually subsided.
Zhang Cundao hid in the room and was scared for most of the day.
"This place is too dangerous! It's better to go back to your own world." He thought to himself, went back to the bed, lay down, and closed his eyes.
…
…
…
Zhang Cundao opened his eyes helplessly. He did not return to his own world... It was not that the trick failed, but that he could not sleep at all!
Just as you can never wake up someone who is pretending to be asleep, you can never pretend to be asleep!
He lay in bed for a long time, counting thousands of sheep, but he still didn't fall asleep!
Since he couldn't sleep, Zhang Cundao began to ponder the "Tai Shang Wu Wei Qing Jing Jing".
The full text of "Tai Shang Wuwei Qing Jing Jing" is over a thousand words long. It is concise and difficult to understand. For example, there is a sentence in it, "Wandering thoughts arise, and the whole world is quiet."
What does this sentence mean? It feels like nonsense! But this is what Professor Wen said in his notes.
'Xuo: the messy appearance of vegetation, Sheng: growth, delusion: thoughts that shouldn't be had.'
Then the sequence goes like this: Thoughts are like weeds and need to be controlled to achieve a state of tranquility.
Without Professor Wen’s annotations, who would be able to read these things!
While Zhang Cundao was complaining, he continued to understand the full text based on Professor Wen's annotations. Gradually, he began to understand a little bit of the meaning of these 1,250 words.
This scripture is like a scripture that calms the mood and belongs to thoughts. The whole text talks about how to calm the heart and eliminate distracting thoughts. After reading it, Zhang Cundao felt much calmer.
Lying on the bed, a calm and peaceful temperament enveloped Zhang Cundao, which instantly dispelled his fear.
At this time, he seemed to be wrapped in a warm hot spring, and his whole body felt refreshed. A spiritual bead gradually appeared in his mind...
………………………………
I don't know how long it took in this comfortable state. Suddenly, the door was opened. A voice came: "How are you memorizing the scriptures? The master is coming to check!"
Zhang Cundao then opened his eyes, but the master and the young man walked in together.
Today's master is not a wolf. He looked at Zhang Cundao with a straight face and a cold look in his hazy yellow eyes. An invisible pressure came from him, but Zhang Cundao suddenly felt that he was not so scary!
Zhang Cundao quickly got up from the bed and said, "I'm ready."
The young man then took out a piece of paper and pen and said, "Let's write it while memorizing it."
Zhang Cundao picked up a pen and paper and began to recite the "Tai Shang Wuwei Qing Jing Sutra", and then wrote it down on the paper with words that looked like chicken feet. He was not used to using a writing brush, so the words looked even more ugly.
The master and the young man listened carefully to the scriptures, nodding thoughtfully while listening. After the master's request, Zhang Cundao repeated it twice.
After three times, there was no error. The master looked at the scripture written by Zhang Cundao again and finally nodded.
"Yes, you did a good job." His tone was finally not so cold.
The young man smiled and said: "Since you have presented the scriptures, according to the rules, you are the master's disciple and my junior brother! My name is Li Zhenzi, what is my junior brother's name?"
Zhang Cundao hesitated, then said honestly: "My name is Zhang Cundao."
Li Zhenzi nodded and continued: "From now on, we will study the scriptures together, practice together, and support each other."
While he was talking, the master had already put away the scriptures written by Zhang Cundao and left. Watching him leave, Li Zhenzi didn't say anything, but took out two pieces of paper from his arms and said, "Since you have entered the door,
, we don’t hide our secrets either. These are the master’s “Green Wood Sutra” and my “Demon Transformation Sutra.”
He handed the paper in his hand to Zhang Cundao, and Zhang Cundao subconsciously took it. When he unfolded the paper, he also frowned.
The handwriting on this paper is not much better than his! It is also ugly enough.
It was ugly, but it was understandable. There were also many uncommon words in the two scriptures, and Zhang Cundao couldn't help but frown.
At this time, Li Zhenzi continued: "Okay, tomorrow morning, you will come to the main hall, and we will lecture and practice together!"
