Ever since Li Zheng and the others officially entered the training period, Jason always felt that the rabbit instructors there were mysterious in everything.
For example, they often play a stone-throwing game in the camp during training breaks. Another example is that they often lead teams out, and then disappear for a day or two, sometimes even three or four days.
When training in the camp, most of them stayed in the proposed CQB training ground they built themselves, doing table tennis, but they couldn't see outside, which made Jason very itchy and wanted to find an excuse to go there.
Let's see how well those army soldiers are trained.
The only most enjoyable part was when Tong Zhi taught the army soldiers how to fight. It was the subject that Jason thought he had the most insight into.
He specifically told the sentry that if he found out that the other side was training, he would go over and call him. As long as he had time, he would definitely be there, sitting in a chair with high-power binoculars and watching the whole scene with great interest.
For a Delta member, military combat is certainly no stranger.
He has learned a lot of fighting skills, including Krav Maga, Jiu-Jitsu, Filipino stick arts and even karate and Aikido. This is just his personal interest and is not a mandatory requirement within the US military.
With the development of special forces today, the proportion of military combat training in the overall training has been greatly reduced than before.
Because modern special operations includes too many subjects to fit combat into a packed training schedule, priority is given to the many other trainings required by special forces.
Special forces are likely to have to master a wide range of skills, such as hostage rescue training, foreign weapons training, jungle survival training, parachuting training, destruction of enemy facilities, communications training, medical rescue training, combat and infiltration training, etc.
In addition, special forces have to deal with breakout escape tests and brutal resistance and interrogation training in order to perform special operations missions behind enemy lines or in hostile environments. For special forces, their time is too precious.
Therefore, many of the world's famous special forces spend a very short time in combat.
Take Jason himself for example. He entered the rookie training camp after being selected to join Delta. He only received combat training for six weeks. Most of the time, he relied on his own self-discipline and performed strength and boxing training in the gym between training sessions.
When deployed overseas, go to a local martial arts studio to learn local martial arts.
The U.S. Special Forces combat system is divided into brown belt, gray belt, green belt, brown belt and black belt. Green belts, brown belts and black belts can take the instructor qualification test, and Jason himself is a black belt instructor.
Of course, he has no chance to be deployed in China, and his identity is too sensitive. Even if he wants to use his vacation to study under a teacher in China, he may be targeted when he enters the country.
Because of this, he showed great interest in the Chinese fighting skills learned by soldiers in the army.
Unlike him, Hueys was not very interested in fighting, so when he saw Tong Zhi teaching the soldiers assassination training, he dismissed it, thinking that this kind of training was simply superficial and impractical.
Jason reminded Hueys in an expert tone that they were not practicing moves, but murderous intent. When it came time to fight with the bayonet, not only skill and strength were needed, but also courage and murderous intent. Otherwise, if they were timid, they would not even be able to face it directly.
The enemy doesn't even have the courage, let alone fight to the death.
As the days passed, not only the two instructors from the Delta next door felt the changes in the Army training base, but the soldiers of the special operations company inside also seemed to have changed unknowingly.
In addition to the previous training, the camp was full of soldiers in groups of twos and threes, dressed in disheveled clothes, blowing water and having fun.
Now, not only is the environment in the camp neat and tidy, but everyone walks in the standard PLA queue posture. Everyone walks with their heads held high, three in a row and two in a row. Even the clothes on the drying ground are hung in the same style.
It has to be neat.
I used to lie in bed smoking, eating or even drinking beer before going to bed, but now I do strength training before turning off the lights at night, doing squats, doing abdominal and leg raises, sit-ups, push-ups on the bed...
These are all required by the instructor, and they are euphemistically called bed exercises.
There is a small field training once a week, a two-day outing, field marching and marching according to the map. Everyone must learn to use maps and compasses.
Wilderness survival lasts for five days once every two weeks, and various tactical trainings are conducted in the middle.
I don’t spend much time in the camp. Apart from the CQB training ground which is also a climbing area, I spend most of my time at the shooting range practicing various targets at targets, from pistols to rifles to sniper rifles to light machine guns. The distances range from 25 meters to 800 meters.
Application shooting to precision sniping, from quick reaction shooting to reaction shooting...
During that time, Johnny shivered involuntarily when he saw the gun.
The happiest training is the airborne landing training, because Li Zheng and Tong Zhi will apply for the Army to send helicopters to take people to the sky. First, the snipers will conduct aerial sniper training on the helicopter, and then choose to rappel to the designated location.
But they didn't learn about airborne.
The reason is simple, not enough time.
I really need to practice parachuting, and only after three swellings and three eliminations can I get into the sky, neither time nor conditions allow it.
Li Zheng and Tong Zhi's training program is very effective.
Not only is the discipline strict, but rewards and punishments are also clear.
At first, there were many violations of discipline, and the punishments were scary.
Those who achieve great results will receive extremely high rewards.
For example, Johnny was the first person in the company who could hit the chest ring target with an 85 sniper at 800 meters. Li Zheng rewarded him with a sheep that night and asked him to invite the whole class to roast the whole sheep.
When other classes saw it, they naturally drooled.
Each squad is equipped with a sniper, so other soldiers will make noises to let the snipers in their squads compete for air, and strive to achieve results so that everyone can eat roasted whole lamb.
As the saying goes, everything goes smoothly.
Strict discipline in the early stage will bring about rapid progress in the later stage.
Sandy couldn't believe that this company had completely changed its appearance in just one month.
In the past, he had no confidence in defeating the anti-terrorism team in the assessment three months later, but now he sees the dawn of victory.
Maybe……
Can really win!
While Li Zheng and Tong Zhi were working hard with their soldiers to train and prepare for the final assessment, Jason and Hueys were also making plans of their own.
The two Delta members did not pay too much attention to the training of the anti-terrorist unit.
In fact, this is not the first time for this kind of substitute training. It has been done before, but they were not just the two of them as instructors.
Neither Jason nor Hueys felt it was reliable to conduct special operations training in such a small African country.
The reason is very simple. Real special operations are a money-consuming thing. They are originally a thing for rich countries. A country with insufficient defense budget does not have the capital to engage in these things.
The instructor has been taught in various previous trainings, and this is not the first time that the anti-terrorism team has participated in foreign training. Jason believes that this level is already the highest level of W country's special operations. Due to limited conditions, it will be difficult to improve.
As for the PLA, through various surveillances, he felt that the teachings were nothing more than this. The equipment of the Army was not as good as the anti-terrorism unit, so what kind of tricks could it do?
They didn't care much about training, but they were very concerned about another thing.
That was the "Operation Poison Needle" that their team had planned for a long time. They received the news that day and it was finally approved and will be implemented in five days.
