At the same time, lean down calmly, press the kneeling pad with your right hand, and kneel down on both knees. Then, leave your left hand from your heart and press the back of your right hand to form a 'cross' shape.
Prostrate and kowtow, with your head on the back of your hands. Your head and spine should be lowered at the same time. Do not raise your arms higher than your back. Think of your face in your heart and pray sincerely.
Raise your head, retract your left hand to cover your heart, use your right hand hard, stand up slowly, then retract your right hand, cup your hands and hold them high.
Repeat nine times in a row before it is considered complete.
Standing beside him stood Xu Qingzhi, who was wearing a golden Bagua Taoist robe and holding a chime hammer. Every time Zhang Ke saluted, she would hit the jade chime with the chime hammer.
"Ding--!"
The crisp, distant sound of the chime came from the Sanqing Hall and echoed leisurely in the Taoist Palace.
After nine kowtows, Xu Qingzhi held the three pillars of incense upside down and handed them to Zhang Ke.
Zhang Ke carefully kept his mind, held the incense in both hands and lit the incense with the everlasting flame candle enshrined on the left side of the incense table.
Facing the statue of the god, hold incense with both hands in line with your forehead, and bow to salute.
The three pillars of incense are inserted straight into the incense burner to show that the heart is upright and calm. The distance between them is no more than an inch to show sincerity.
After the incense is finished, kowtow is performed again.
Every step of this set of procedures has strict standards, and Zhang Kecheng completed it step by step with sincerity.
Then Master Mingxiao held the blue jade Ruyi in his left hand and tapped Zhang Ke's right shoulder three times.

"Linlang vibrates, and all directions are silent.
The river and sea are silent, and the mountains are emitting clouds.
Minghui Cave is clear, and there is a large amount of Xuanxuan.
Fuyi, the altar tree has eight poles, the eight trigrams are used to establish the altar boundary, and the Xuanke is used to kowtow to Gao Zhen.
Now Lingbao Dharma Master burns incense and orders:
Dantianyuhuasi, the general of Jiufeng Pohu.
The four spirits and four beasts in the Xuan Altar are the four gods of the Xuan Altar.
I have given the order to express my sincerity and go down to the Yao steps. They all have spiritual treasures to open the altar, and I must tell you now."
The ceremony of opening the altar is a must-have item. The words of Mingxiao's leader imply that the sect will establish branches and spread its branches to pray to the heaven.
Zhang Ke bowed down and took the jade Ruyi with both hands.
Then he stood up and walked out of the 'Sanqing Hall', with Headmaster Mingxiao and Xu Qingzhi following closely behind him.
At this time, his eyes had returned to the state of white mist, and he looked at the hundreds of thousands of disciples standing neatly in front of him and wearing white robes.
A burst of heroic spirit suddenly surged into his heart, and he chanted loudly on the steps:
"Lingbao Dafa Division, this is the present office.
The sky is round and the earth is round, the laws and regulations are in nine chapters.
Fu Yi, although the sky is high and far away, only thoughts can penetrate it, God is solid and majestic, and sincerity can be achieved.
However, those who are sincere must wash away their worries and be pious and respectful, and those who are sincere must burn incense on their heads to pay tribute.
Participate in the three realms as a master, follow the teachings, and directly send him to accept the Jinmen and join the Yufu.
As far as helping others and benefiting from things, practicing according to the Dharma, the mind originates from the body and the Tao and is true.
Please give me the Holy Scriptures, and pray for a single word of the divine mantra to prove it, so that you can practice it as an example."
The sound of Qingyue echoed leisurely in the Taoist palace, the sound reached the ears and the words were conveyed to the heart.
Yu Tingzhang listened attentively and calmly. Although he heard it well, he felt it was extremely difficult and some sentences were not very understandable.
His eyes slightly glanced to both sides, but he saw that many people were the same as him, and they didn't seem to understand very well.
But he roughly heard that this was Zhang Ke praying to the Shangqing Patriarch to recruit disciples and admonishing the disciples.
Seeing some of the sect disciples looking like they had some enlightenment, Yu Tingzhang sighed secretly in his heart.

Today, Japanese sect generals award Taoist titles to establish friendship with fellow sects. Taoist titles are arranged in sixteen characters:
‘Xuanyuan Zhizhen, Chongxiao Taisu.
The spirit is quiet and clear, and the wisdom is clear.’
The male and female disciples in the Jindan realm in the sect start with the two characters ‘Xuan’ and ‘Ling’ respectively, while the male and female disciples in the Xiantian realm start with the two characters ‘Yuan’ and ‘Jing’.
From today onwards, all new disciples will start a new generation every sixty years, starting from the words "Zhi" and "Tong" and continuing backwards, starting over and over again.
After the initiation ceremony, the sect’s ‘Lu Shi Pavilion’ will preside over the Taoist matters for all the disciples.”
