Chapter 28 Taoist Struggle

Zhang Ke did not expect the words of Lord Feihong, but after careful consideration, it is not impossible.

I have caused huge damage to the 'Devil's' repeatedly. I can't find any trace of the 'Devil' in the past few days. Maybe I was shocked.

Zhang Ke turned his head to look at the purple clouds filled with purple mist, pondered for a moment, and still said:

"I still stick to my own approach and eat away at the 'Devil' bit by bit."

True Lord Feihong also straightened out his thoughts at this moment.

"I know that fellow Taoist Ruyi has great supernatural powers, and the 'Devil' is no match for you.

But there are so many of them, if so many ‘demons’ gather together, how can fellow Taoists get rid of them?”

Zhang Ke smiled ‘haha’ and said lightly:

"I am good at changing my wishes and can transform into flowers, birds, fish, insects, mountains, rocks, grass and trees.

I can enter and exit the 'Heavenly Demon' at will without being discovered. As long as I am patient, I can kill all the 'Heavenly Demon'."

Feihong Zhenjun was shocked and suddenly felt a little troubled.

Zhang Ke was obviously determined to slowly beat the 'Devil' to death, but this situation did not help him at all.

This time, by chance, he was summoned to this realm by Jiutian Dangmo Tianzun. It was extremely important for him to advance to the rank of Taoist. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

How can I let True Lord Ruyi ruin my plan, but how can I persuade this person?

True Lord Feihong fell into deep thought.

Many cave gods above the white clouds are also secretly thinking about the pros and cons of the two countermeasures.

Feihong Zhenjun thought hard for a while, and after thinking about Zhang Ke's background, he decided to win Zhang Ke's support from another aspect.

"Ahem, fellow Taoist Ruyi, how much do you know about the key points of advancing to the Taoist realm?"

As one of many Dong Tianjun who has stepped on the threshold of the Taoist realm, Feihong Zhenjun's words suddenly attracted everyone's attention.

In the past, becoming a Taoist meant becoming an immortal.

No matter how much relevant knowledge the Dong Tianjun present knows, it is always good to know more.

Zhang Ke thought for a while and said:

"What I practice is the 'Yuan Shen Method'. If you want to advance to the rank of Taoist Lord, you need three flowers to gather at the top of the head, five qi to move toward the Yuan, manifest the cave sky, and then the Hunyuan returns."

Zhang Ke did not go into details about the five routes of "Heaven, Earth, Humans, Gods, and Ghosts" to advance to the rank of Taoist. He only gave a brief summary.

True Lord Feihong nodded slightly, he also practiced the 'Yuan Shen Method'.

After pondering for a moment, he said:

"We are all in the realm of Dongtian now. If the rules and regulations of Dongtian are perfect, then the 'Hunyuan Unification' will be the last step.

The so-called "Hunyuan" refers to the undivided vitality and chaos, which is the beginning of vitality!

Yuan Qi is born in chaos, within light and outside darkness.

Because there is a void between light and dark, there is Taiwu within the hole. Taiwu changes, and the three qi are distinct: Xuan Qi, Yuan Qi, and Shi Qi.

So, what are the ‘three qi’?

The upper Qi is called Shi, the middle Qi is called Yuan, and the lower Qi is called Xuan. Xuan Qi is born in emptiness, Yuan Qi is born in caves, and Shi Qi is born in nothingness.

Therefore, two can be born, two can beget three, three can beget all things, and three can be transformed and reborn, so as to reach the nine mysteries, and return from the nine to one, which is the true meaning of Tao.

The clear yang forms the sky, the dross condenses into the earth, and the middle form forms the human being. The three are divided into three categories, all things are born, the sun and the moon shine in succession, and the five attributes are unified.

When the three qi are chaotic, Taixu creates a hole. Because of the hole, there is nothingness. Because of nothingness, existence arises. Because of existence, emptiness arises. By observing the changes of emptiness and nothingness, nature can arise from emptiness.

This is the meaning of ‘Hunyuan Guiyi’.”

Zhang Ke was slightly fascinated when he heard this. Since the establishment of the Xiantian Yiqi Sect, there has never been a Taoist Lord.

This kind of knowledge, which is considered universal among True Monarch Feihong's sect, has never been broken down or taught in detail.

Even though the 'Xiantian Yiqi Southern Sect' has integrated many sects now, there are some Guanqiao Fenghua Zhenjun and others who will not tell him.

His "Dongtian" has been perfected for a long time, but he still cannot touch the opportunity to advance to the rank of Dao Lord. This is because he does not have a clear understanding of this last step and can only explore it bit by bit.

Now that I heard Master Feihong clearly explain the core of "Hunyuan Guiyi", I felt enlightened.

True Lord Feihong glanced at Zhang Ke, who had some understanding, and continued:

"In addition, the 'Hunyuan Gui' is also the process of condensing the 'Tao Fruit'."

‘Tao fruit’ refers to ‘the path to enlightenment and the fruit’. ‘Tao’ is Bodhi, and ‘fruit’ is Nirvana. Nirvana is achieved by the path to Bodhi, so it is called fruit.

"Tao fruit" refers to a result obtained by Taoists through practice, which is the realization and proof of "Tao".

For example, "Tai Shang Cave Xuan Ling Bao Kai Yan Secret Tibetan Sutra" says: "The law of life and death has cause and effect, so it is impermanent, and it is not called the path and fruit; the body of the permanent path is not cause and effect, so it is permanent, and the body is the fruit.

Hence the name Daoguo.'

Tao is the 'cause' and virtue is the 'result'. If you behave in accordance with the rules of the Tao, you will gain something.

‘Heaven’s responsibility and karma will repay you’.

The so-called "responsibility" refers to two aspects. One is that if the predecessors made mistakes, the descendants will bear the responsibility; if the predecessors did good deeds, the descendants will be blessed.

The other is that there is a cycle of heaven, and there is also karma in natural changes.

Good causes lead to good results, bad causes lead to bad results, from quantitative changes to qualitative changes.

To form cause and effect, just like the process of planting rice, it takes time.

Sowing is the cause.

Take the saying "Sow a grain of millet in spring and harvest ten thousand grains in autumn". Among them, "planting in spring" is the cause, that is, you start to have an idea, and this idea begins to sprout, so it is like planting a grain of millet.

Went to the fields.

Second is fate.

After this 'grain of millet' is planted, it needs many factors to germinate, such as sunlight, moisture, nutrients, soil, etc., including not being eaten by pests.

What needs special attention at this point is why many thoughts have no results. Because the conditions are not met, they actually have results. No results are also a result, but the results you want are not achieved. This is 'insufficient causes and conditions'.

Most of my thoughts died here, but others didn’t pay attention to them.

This step is very important. In practice, it represents chance and luck.

Third, it is time.

Why can't the sown rice mature immediately? Because it needs a brewing and maturing time. If the time is not enough, the fruit will not be formed.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! The result is at the end.

"Autumn harvest ten thousand grains" is the result. First, it explains the time, and second, it creates a comparison. From "one grain of millet" to "ten thousand grains of grain", it is obvious that cause and effect are formed, and it has expanded a lot. This is correct."

Cause', can get more correct 'effect'.

Wrong 'causes', because they are contrary to common sense, receive a lot of interference, so they often fail to produce correct 'results', and even wrong 'results' are also affected.

The process of us condensing the "Tao Fruit" is actually to influence a little bit of our own inspiration with a certain Tao.

In the process of practice, this little bit of inspiration breaks out of the ground like a seed, grows vigorously, and undergoes the test of wind, frost, snow and rain, thereby being nourished and matured.

Use a little inspiration to leverage the rules of the avenue, leave your own mark on countless rules, and make yourself a part of the avenue.

To put it simply, if you think of spiritual practice as walking on a road and reaching the end step by step.

Then the path that every practitioner walks will leave a mark on this avenue.

If the path you are taking has been taken by others and traces have been left behind.

For example, where we are, every road has its own name, which means that others have walked it and marked it.

In practice, this is the "Tao" of others. If there is a road that you have walked on your own and that others have not walked, then the initial imprints and traces left by this "Tao" are your own.

Different paths lead to the same destination, and the end point of each 'path' points to the same point.

The state of the 'Tao Lord' is just a stage on the road of cultivation. All we have to do is to reach the end of the 'Great Way' through the 'Tao' we have traveled out.

The so-called condensation of 'Tao Fruit', to put it bluntly, is to gather together the concepts of one's own practice and all the knowledge one has mastered to find one's own path."

"Uu~~!"

Zhang Ke breathed a long sigh of relief.

At this time, he had a feeling of enlightenment.

Countless inspirations are beating and bursting out in my mind, one after another endlessly.

The road ahead that was originally filled with fog is now like a strong wind blowing away the fog, clearly revealing the path we want to take.

Zhang Ke had a hunch that it would only take a few hundred years for him to achieve the status of a Taoist king.

‘Preaching the truth, imparting knowledge, and solving doubts’ have always been the most important components of spiritual practice.

Today, Zhang Ke received "preaching" and "dispelling doubts". For a practitioner, life-saving advice may not be as valuable as this kind of guidance.

Why are there often amazing geniuses among the disciples of large sects? In addition to resources and inheritance, this kind of word-of-mouth guidance is also extremely important.

Besides, Zhenjun Feihong was right about one thing.

Tao is the ‘cause’ and virtue is the ‘result’.

‘The way of heaven is responsible for the retribution of cause and effect’, and one should behave in accordance with the rules of the great road.

‘Taoguo’ also contains the meaning of ‘cause and effect’.

Since he has received the huge benefits from True Lord Feihong, as long as there are no obvious errors or omissions in the war contract he made, Zhang Ke decided not to resist him from setting up the [Contract Flag] in this world.

Some debts can be repaid sooner or better.

However, he still had a question he wanted to ask.

Zhang Ke thought for a moment, then cupped his hands towards True Lord Feihong and said:

"What Taoist Feihong said today made Ruyi suddenly enlightened, and I benefited a lot. There is just one point that I still don't understand. I would like to ask for advice. Is it appropriate?"

True Lord Feihong was keenly aware of Zhang Ke's attitude and smiled slightly in his heart.

"Fellow Taoist Ruyi, you can speak out!"

Zhang Ke thought for a moment while his chin was being stroked, and then said:

"I already understand the meaning of 'Tao Fruit', but I still have a little doubt.

I would like to ask, if someone is already taking the path you are taking, will it affect you if you continue to take it?"

Hearing Zhang Ke's inquiry, Feihong Zhenjun couldn't help but hold his breath.

He did not expect that Zhang Ke had such a deep understanding of "Tao" that he would ask such a crucial question.

To know this question, even in the sect where Lord Feihong lives, only direct disciples can get the answer.

Feihong Zhenjun hesitated. He didn't know whether he should tell Zhang Ke about this.

At this moment, not only Zhang Ke, but also many other True Lords were staring at True Lord Feihong with burning eyes.

Looking at Zhang Ke, who was as calm as a mountain and standing in the mountains, Feihong Zhenjun finally decided to form a good relationship.

"Haha, regarding this question, my master has a clear instruction, and you must not spread it in vain to affect the practice of others.

Therefore, I will not explain this question in public, but I hope all fellow Taoists will understand."

Of course this is just an excuse.

Just like a doctor, your medical skills determine your status.

If you want to gain respect, there is no problem. Let your strength speak for itself. Zhang Ke was able to gain the attention of True Monarch Feihong for such a simple reason.

Feihong Zhenjun said, apologetically arching his hands in front of the many practitioners.

Later, Zhang Ke said:

“There are three thousand avenues, different paths lead to the same destination.

Each road represents an independent 'Tao'. If someone else has walked it, it means that they have walked in front of you.

If you don't push him away, you will never get past him and reach the end of the road.

Therefore, the cohesion of the 'Tao Fruit' is crucial, and there is no regret in making a move.

Only if you take the road that others have not taken can you reach the end of the road the fastest.

Otherwise, you will chase away and push away all the forerunners on the road you are on.

And this is..."

True Lord Feihong looked at Zhang Ke and said every word:

"The battle of avenues!"

'boom--!'

It's like a thunderclap above the head, or like a heavy hammer hitting the center of the head.

One sentence of truth is preached, and thousands of books are falsely preached!

Zhang Ke finally understood what ‘Tao’ is.

The three thousand avenues refer to the movement of heaven, earth, universe, and rules.

But for practitioners, each Dao rule is a unique and independent existence.

If two people walk on the same road, they will definitely live or die.

'How should I choose my own path?'

Zhang Ke couldn't help but think along with the words of True Lord Feihong.

"Ahem!"

Seeing Zhang Ke's expression, Feihong Zhenjun knew that once a practitioner falls into this kind of understanding, he will become obsessed with it.

But now is not the time for Zhang Ke to think, so he coughs twice as a reminder.

Zhang Ke took a breath, put aside the thoughts in his mind, put his hands together and bowed to True Lord Feihong.

"Thank you, fellow Taoist Feihong, for clearing up the confusion!"

True Lord Feihong smiled and waved his hand.

"I also have my own selfish motives. The cohesion of my 'Dao Fruit' needs to be borrowed from the general trend of the human race, so I want to set up a [Contract Flag] in this world. This matter is related to whether I can advance to the rank of Dao Lord. I hope that my fellow Taoists can help me."

two."

Zhang Ke said seriously:

"Fellow Taoist Jin Yu's kind words have been of great help to Ruyi. I don't know how my friend [Qi Banner] is going to set it up, but Ruyi will give her full help."

A smile appeared on the corner of Zhenjun Feihong's mouth.

I finally got this person, and it was not in vain that I explained many secrets.

As for revealing many secrets of the sect in order to gain Zhang Ke's approval, Feihong Zhenjun didn't care about it.

Nothing can compare with your own path. As long as you can get help, the sacrifice of this knowledge is worth it.

After Zhang Ke spoke, Zhenjun Mingxin and others, as well as other practitioners who had other thoughts, had only the option of 'standing up banners'.

Even if they are both Dong Tianjun, their strengths are completely different.

They simply do not have the ability like Zhang Kena and others to enter and exit the 'Heavenly Demon''s lair at will, nor do they have the strength to kill the 'Heavenly Demon' among tens of thousands of 'Heavenly Demons' at will and escape.

Since Zhang Kedu agreed to ‘stand up the banner’, they had no other ideas and agreed one after another.

True Lord Feihong bowed his hands to everyone.

"Since everyone agrees to 'Li Banner', please come up with two more people to join me in signing a war contract with the 'Heavenly Demon'."
