Chapter 316 Destiny

Guiguzi's words gave Ying Chengyu a sense of detachment. If you believe it, you will have it. If you don't believe it, you will have nothing. This saying is still very popular two thousand years later.

"If heaven really exists, and I, the wax priest, raise my voice against heaven, how can I survive today?"

"Your Majesty, in mortal flesh, can crack bricks and crack stones. What is his power? Martial arts. Where does martial arts come from? It is a gift from heaven. Li Er's words fulfill the true meaning of heaven and earth - heaven and earth are not benevolent, and treat all things as stupid dogs. Saint

He is unkind and treats the common people as stupid dogs. Between heaven and earth, he is like a chariot. He is empty but unyielding, and the more he moves, the more he emerges."

The ladle is a blowing instrument used in ancient times to make fire and strike iron.

A pipe is a pipe used to light fires and blow wind in ancient times.

"The prince is making me more and more confused. What I said in this paragraph is that Tao follows nature, using heaven, earth, and saints as metaphors, and asking people to behave in accordance with the laws of nature. Why does it seem that there is an ulterior motive in the prince's words?"

Guiguzi clicked his tongue twice, a little surprised that Ying Chengyu could say such a thing.

"Li Er once said: 'My words are easy to understand and easy to act.' He had already told the world that what he said was easy to understand and easy to implement. However, the people of the world have to understand in a higher and deeper way, even your Majesty

You are not exempt from vulgarity."

Ying Chengyu put his hand into his arms, making a gun-like gesture, and threatened:

"Your Majesty, you'd better speak politely and don't mock me. My mind is not as big as a needle's eye."

Guiguzi calmed down when he saw the situation, calmed down the expression on his face, and explained seriously:

"Li Er and Confucius met. One of them founded Taoism and the other founded Confucianism. They were both highly knowledgeable people. However, their works were not profound. They were to spread their own thoughts, not to make mysteries. This is recorded here

You can read the Analects of Confucius by reading Confucius' words and deeds. The whole text is easy to understand and can be understood by literate children.

"The Tao Te Ching is just like the Analects of Confucius. It is full of simple words and must not be read in a profound way.

"Heaven and earth, as well as saints, all exist. They view everything in the world without distinguishing between good and evil, good or bad. Everything in the world is given by heaven and earth, and people in it are like chariots, blowing wind to make fire.

It's something. When there is no movement, the wind will not stop and will become slightly smaller. When there is violent movement, the wind will blow out faster and louder."

This interpretation was the first time Ying Chengyu had heard of it. None of the Taoist doctors in the doctoral department had explained it this way.

At this time, although the Ph.D. Office of the Qin Dynasty had powerful people seeking personal gain, there were also many highly educated people among the hundred.

Later generations wanted Liu Bang, the great ancestor of the Han Dynasty, to establish that he would not change the crown prince, and established the second emperor of the Han Dynasty, Emperor Hui of Han Dynasty Liu Ying, as the four leaders of Shangshan - Dongyuan Gong Tang Bing, Xia Huanggong Cui Guang, Qili Ji Wushi, and Mr. Luli.

Dr. Zhou Shu was appointed Doctor of Taoism on his behalf.

Ying Chengyu once heard these four Taoist priests narrate this chapter of the Tao Te Ching. It was very similar to what he said before, and it was definitely not what Gui Guzi said now.

Ying Chengyu, who had always been suspicious of Guiguzi and was wary of trusting him, said half-confidently:

"What the prince said means that we are all working for heaven and earth?"

Guiguzi nodded.

"Of course. No matter what we do, it will not go beyond the expectations of heaven and earth. We have to work hard and start again. Your martial arts are gifts from heaven and earth, and we will eventually return them to heaven and earth. No matter the vicissitudes of the world and the unpredictable changes, heaven and earth give it to you.

No increase, no decrease, no difference.”

Sighing softly, the old man showed a trace of vicissitudes of life in his eyes.

"Li Er rode a green ox to the west, ignored world affairs, and stopped teaching knowledge. He probably understood this matter and became disheartened. Even if he changes the world to the best, it can last for a hundred, a thousand, or ten thousand years. But it will last for ten thousand years.

Tens of thousands of years later, everything starts over again, all over again.

"Humans are only chosen by heaven and earth in this great life. If the bells and spirits of heaven and earth are no longer human in the next life, can the human world still be called the human world? Everything in the world changes without departing from the direction of heaven, and everything in the world changes and has nothing to do with heaven."

Ying Chengyu rubbed his temples, his head hurt a little.

[What is given by heaven and earth will eventually be returned to heaven and earth. What heaven and earth give does not increase or decrease. Isn’t this the law of conservation of energy?]

[Man is only chosen by heaven and earth in this great age. With this level of technology, how does this old man know about the Cretaceous period when dinosaurs dominated the earth? I rode a green ox to the west to understand that life is meaningless? So I am actually a philosophy

Home?]

"Your Majesty, do you understand Zen's words?"

Guiguzi said in surprise.

[Only when I was one hundred and twenty years old, my wife, children, relatives and friends had all gone, and no one in the world was still familiar to me, except for me. When I looked around, I was at a loss and everything was despairing, then I realized what Li Er really meant.]

[Your Majesty is in the prime of life, high-spirited, and fearful of his relatives and friends. Although he has read hundreds of schools of thought and knows the knowledge of various schools of thought, it is not surprising that he can understand it when I interpret the Tao Te Ching.]

[But how can you understand that I later expressed my feelings? Your Majesty has not lived for hundreds of years and has the pain of losing his wife, children, and friends. This does not make sense!]

"That's about it."

Ying Chengyu, who was rubbing his head with his eyes closed, didn't see Gui Guzi's expression and answered smoothly.

From Gui Guzi's words, he realized that he finally understood Gui Guzi's state of mind and why Gui Guzi didn't seem to care about anything.

Those with bad conduct are like those of Marxism-Leninism who are willing to be accepted as disciples, Pang Juan and Sun Bin who are quarreling with each other but do not pay attention and wait quietly to see what happens.

"Do you think of yourself as God? In your eyes, everything in the world will be taken back by God sooner or later, so you don't care who lives or dies, which country prospers and which country perishes. There is no one or person in the world that you miss.

thing."

Wang Chan was stunned for a moment, and his original surprise turned into disbelief.

He has met many geniuses, including Pang Juan, Sun Bin, Le Yi, Su Qin, and Zhang Yi.

He also saw people who saw through his state of mind, such as Tao Zhu Gong Fan Li who buried Xi Shi and gave all his wealth to him, and Mo Zi Mo Zhai who, like him, saw through the power of heaven and earth and still wanted to make the world a better place.

But he has never seen anyone like Ying Chengxuan, and he can understand genius. In the human world for hundreds of years, it is not a small number to choose a genius among a hundred thousand people.

But Ying Chengyu was neither an old man like Fan Li who had experienced the world and lived for hundreds of years. Nor was he a Mozi who sacrificed himself to save the world and had great love.

How can you see through his state of mind? This is not something that only a genius can explain.

"I have seen many scholars, many geniuses, and many strange people, but I still cannot understand you. If I had not known that you do not believe in heaven, I would have thought that you are the incarnation of heaven."

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! Ying Chengyu didn’t know what Guiguzi was thinking, and he didn’t know where this comment came from. Based on Guiguzi’s words, he thought that he had come through time, opened his eyes and said:

"Oh, maybe I came to this world because of what you said was God's doing."

It was originally said casually, but Gui Guzi nodded heavily and said clearly:

"I see, your Majesty has a destiny."

The corners of Ying Chengyu's mouth twitched.

[Can this be bluffed? Do you have any mental illness? I should take you to see Mr. Xia before leaving Xianyang.]

"Sometimes I really don't know if you are bluffing me or if you are really being stupid. Anyway, you are quite stupid."

Ying Chengxiao sneered and pointed at his face.

"Am I still a person destined by fate? I want to rebel against God! And didn't you just say that heaven and earth regard all things as stupid dogs?"

Ying Chengyu originally wanted to use destiny to deceive Guiguzi at this time, but the thought disappeared as soon as it arose.

He believed that a knowledgeable person like Gui Guzi would be able to react immediately even if he was really deceived and left the hall.

Instead of leaving a bad impression in Guiguzi's mind, it's better to be honest and honest.

"The heaven and earth in the Tao Te Ching are the heaven and earth as understood by Li Er, and are not the real heaven and earth. It is difficult to predict the will of heaven, and it is difficult to see the heart of heaven. The destiny of heaven falls on the body of the king. Perhaps it is because heaven wants to hide his body, so he asks the king to do what he wants.

It’s also a thorn."

Seeing Gui Guzi, an old man who usually laughed and scolded, and was very lively and serious like never before, Ying Chengqiao laughed twice.

"as long as you are happy."

[This is your own strategy, it has nothing to do with Naigong...]

After stretching, Ying Chengyu, who learned about the sky from Gui Guzi's mouth, was completely relieved.

Regardless of whether it is based on the "Tao Te Ching" explained by Guiguzi or the destiny he believes in, the existence of heaven cannot be determined, and it has no impact on Ying Chengyu.

The former is like the law of nature, treating everything like a dog with grass, and is too lazy to pay attention to Ying Chengyu. If it is the latter, Ying Chengyu plans to lead a thousand cavalry to charge against hundreds of thousands of barbarians, and see if there can be a wave of meteorites

Heaven descends.

"Since Mr. Nai is the man of destiny, Han Di will trouble the prince to deal with it. In order for the prince to see the new world as soon as possible, please don't be lazy and work hard."

"Why is your Majesty in such a happy mood?"

Guiguzi frowned, his eyes filled with incomprehension again.

"Why can't I be happy?"

"Since you know that everything is in vain, what you do is not as expected by heaven and earth, but it is of no use to heaven and earth. At this time, you should be like Zen, looking at everything in the world without emotion. How can you still be full of longing for the human world?"

Ying Chengqiang waved to Qiang and led Qiang towards the layman.

"Perhaps my realm is not as high as the prince's. I haven't fully understood it yet. The prince has realized his self-worth, and his needs should be regarded as the sixth level."

Gui Guzi, who claimed to be old and frail, was like a rabbit running away at this moment. He was faster than the Qin soldiers who were known as tigers and wolves. He stopped in front of Ying Chengyu, his eyes full of longing.

"Please give me some advice! Zen, I have been trapped for a long time and don't want to wait to die."

Ying Chengyu expressed his thoughts in front of Gui Guzi, and Gui Guzi was convinced that Ying Chengyu had understood everything.

Guiguzi used to be like Ying Chengyu, high-spirited and interested in everything, but since he learned the true meaning of heaven and earth, he no longer has such a state of mind.

This is a matter of age and cognition. No matter how long an old farmer works hard all his life, he will never have such thoughts as Gui Guzi. The curse of knowledge can only be broken with knowledge.

Guiguzi, who knows all the scholars, knows hundreds of schools of thought, and knows all the ways, also wants to be as interested in life as Ying Chenglong.

Really alive.

Instead of waiting to die.

[Well, because I’m not old enough, I haven’t seen, eaten, or played. It’s not like you have experienced everything...]

Ying Chengyu wanted to say this, but looked at Guiguzi's eyes full of hope, as if grasping the last straw, and swallowed the words back.

Gui Guzi, who had read all the books in this era, never imagined that Ying Chengyu could understand his words not because of his state of mind.

Simply because the predecessors planted trees, the descendants enjoyed the shade, and read many philosophical books.

After scratching his head, Ying Chengyu grabbed the old man's shoulders and said extremely seriously:

"Romain Rolland said: There is only one kind of heroism in the world, which is to still love life after seeing the truth of life. A great man said: There is endless joy in fighting against heaven, endless joy in fighting against earth, and endless joy in fighting against people.

.I share these two words with you.”

Guiguzi stood motionless like a thousand-year-old zombie.

After Ying Chengyu was forced away, he didn't move a step for a long time.

I don't know how much time passed, but the old man slowly sat down on the floor. He counted the time for half a cup of tea with his fingers, closed his eyes, and sat quietly until dawn.

…………

"You are not allowed to go to Yingdu!"

Inside the house, which looks ordinary from the outside, the bedding on the bed is woven with silk that only the wealthy nobles can afford, and the headboard is made of mahogany with a lifelike phoenix bird embroidered on it.

The chubby Xiang Liang stood in the middle of this house with ruins outside and gold and jade inside, with a few splinters of wood falling on his shoes, and he sternly scolded his nephew.

His nephew is eight feet tall and looks to be at least twenty years old. Looking down at his childish and heroic face, he is definitely no older than twenty.

The bare arms are full of muscles, and there are broken pieces of wood in front of them, as well as pieces of sawdust on the fists. It shows that these high bulges are not only about shape, but also about huge power.

His surname is Xiang, his given name is Yu, and he is the grandson of Xiang Yan, a famous general in Chu State. He is only fourteen years old.

Xiang Yu looked irritated and swung his fists so hard that there was an explosive sound in the air, and there was endless crackling.

"Why! Even though Yu is young, no one can defeat him!"

"Young man is arrogant!"

Xiang Liang, who looked like a wealthy man and seemed to be very talkative, grabbed his nephew's flailing arm, not worried about being hit at all.

He originally thought that he could hold his nephew's arm and hold on tightly like he did more than a month ago, so as to teach his nephew that he is not invincible.

But he didn't expect that this reaching hand would catch his nephew's arm. Not only was he unable to stop his nephew from waving, but he was almost swung by his fourteen-year-old nephew.

The unimaginable force caused Xiang Liang's heels to lift off the ground. If Xiang Yu hadn't stopped his force in time, Xiang Liang would have done a flying trapeze.

After showing his strength to his uncle, Xiang Yu raised his head high and said to his uncle with his chin:

"How? Yu Neng can go to Ying? As the grandson of Xiang Yan, how can I not go to the capital of Da Chu to see it!"

Xiang Liang shook his arms and used his inner strength to calm down the energy and blood in his heart, his heart filled with shock.

Xiang Liang's own martial arts is not low, and there is no one who is not good at traveling all over the country. He has also met Zhao Gao, a top martial artist, and knows what it is like to reach the state of transformation in martial arts.

The reason why he was so horrified was that his nephew Xiang Yu's martial arts was not very advanced and he did not have much internal strength. A fourteen-year-old child, no matter how talented he was, would not be able to reach the sky in one step when faced with the martial arts of Kung Fu.

It was able to put him in such a situation and almost throw him up because of his brute force!

There was only hidden anger on Xiang Liang's face, but no look of surprise, and he said in a deep voice:

"No."

Xiang Yu is very angry.

"Uncle can do it, why can't Yu? Uncle can't defeat Yu, but Yu can protect himself!"

Xiang Liang shouted:

"I can die, but you can't! It's destiny that you were born with double eyes! It's up to you to recover!"
