213 Bloody Night

An Ning directly drew his sword and struck the first royal party member who came forward.

Louis XVII said angrily: "How dare you draw your sword in front of me? Is there any royal law?"

An Ning ignored him and knocked down the guy who stepped forward to block him with two swords. Then he rushed in front of General Buye and cut off his tendons with precise, embroidery-like swordsmanship.

Buye screamed like a slaughtering pig.

Then An Ning continued to step forward and arrived in front of Louis XVII.

Louis XVII's eyes widened in surprise, and he opened his mouth to shout something, but the words suddenly turned into a neighing sound like air leakage.

Because An Ning hit Louis XVII on the throat with the end of the sword hilt, directly physically cutting off the words he wanted to say.

Then An Ning rushed to the glass window of the study with the body of an adult in his early 20s.

Obviously, jumping out of the window is more feasible than going back the way you came and fight your way out.

Along with the sound of breaking glass, Louis XVII's scream was heard.

An Ning smashed through the glass like a cannonball and rushed into the flaming night sky.

The height of the Tuileries Palace is still a bit high. Even for An Ning, jumping off the second floor is not a joke - probably.

When landing, An Ning's plug-in reacted as quickly as ever, adjusting the posture directly and using the knee to squat down to cushion the landing.

In the end, An Ning directly assumed the appearance of the Terminator at the end of his time travel.

Louis XVII, who was also taken out of the window, was not so lucky. He crashed directly into the middle of the royal party gathered downstairs.

The good news is that the royal party acts as a buffer for their majesty.

The bad news is that this cushion is barbed, after all, the royalists are armed with pitchforks and rifles with bayonets.

Louis XVII was stabbed in the shoulder and screamed, but the force of An Ning's blow just now was still there, and the sound-producing function of his vocal cords was not yet complete, so the scream turned into some kind of weird cry.

An Ning turned around, slashed down two unsuspecting royalists with his sword, then picked up Louis XVII, who had not yet recovered, and rushed towards his army.

The royal party downstairs were stunned and had no idea what was going on.

At this time, An Ning ran past Lana.

Rana:?

An Ning: "Why are you standing there, run away!"

Rana: "Ah? What happened?"

Although he was confused, Lana turned around and started running.

His horse and An Ning's horse were very humane and followed the two riders galloping on foot.

Then a strange scene appeared: An Ning was running forward with a man on his back, Rana was chasing after him with an inexplicable look on his face, and two horses followed Rana at a trot like they were having fun.

The well-informed French army had never seen this scene before, and were stunned when they saw the three men and two horses running this way.

The royal party was also stunned, not knowing what was going on.

For a while, both sides watched the three people and two horses running through the French garden square in front of the Tuileries Palace.

Bouye shouted from upstairs: "Seize it, Frost has hijacked His Majesty!"

The royal party woke up like a dream, screaming strangely and rushing towards An Ning who was running for the road.

The French army did not hear clearly what Bouye was shouting, but they saw the royal party moving and immediately responded.

"Raise the gun!"

An Ning, who was running in front, shouted: "Don't shoot! It's me! Don't accidentally hurt me! Wait for us to pass!"

**

Napoleon: "Did something just fly out of the Tuileries Palace from the second floor?"

Christina: "I didn't see clearly. It seems to be quite big. Did you throw down the sofa?"

Napoleon: "Then should we fire?"

Christina: "No, the general is still inside. What if he is accidentally injured?"

As soon as she finished speaking, she saw two people and two horses running towards this side.

Christina: "It's Frost!"

Napoleon was shocked: "How do you know? It's so dark!"

Christina did not bother to respond to Napoleon, and her cavalry girls ordered: "Everyone is ready! We rush over to disperse the royalists chasing them!"

After saying this, Christina drew her saber.

What responded to her was a series of sounds of sabers being unsheathed.

Christina: "Attack!"

This small group of cavalry began to march forward in an unusually neat formation, as if they were undergoing a review.

Napoleon was also unambiguous. After Christina charged, he dismounted directly, took the torch from a soldier, and personally lit the fuse of the cannon!

The cannon roared, and the solid shell accurately hit the wall on the second floor of the Tuileries Palace.

As a palace, the main function of the Tuileries Palace is not to defend against enemy attacks, so even though it was only a six-pound cavalry cannon, the cannonball directly made a washbasin-sized hole in the brick wall.

The sound of cannons caused the unknown singing around to stop abruptly, and then a patriot shouted: "It has begun! Attack the Tuileries Palace! Kill the royalists!"

Napoleon: "Huh? Wait a minute, I'm just firing for cover, don't get excited..."

The patriots holding the tricolor flag did not listen to him at all and rushed towards the Tuileries Palace like a bursting tide.

Seeing this scene, the French army also began to charge with bayonets! The target was the royal party of the Tuileries Palace!

Napoleon held a torch in his hand and looked at this scene. He froze on the spot and muttered softly: "It's broken. It's over. If this turns into a big scandal, Andy will hold me accountable..."

His adjutant next to him asked: "Are we... still loading?"

Napoleon made up his mind: "Reload! This is already the case, let's have a good time! We are the first people in French history to fire on the king's palace!"

**

In the midst of the chaos, An Ning finally returned to a safe position behind his private. He dropped Louis XVII from his shoulders, panting and turning his head to look at the chaos behind him.

The people of Paris are using bayonets to express their opinions against the royalists. They will undoubtedly vent their fear of the Prussian-Austrian coalition forces in recent days and the royalist counterattack after the Austro-Prussian capture of Paris on these royalists.

An Ning has read history books, and he knows what this kind of catharsis will turn into in the end.

The royal party is finished, literally.

——As expected, in the end, there was still nothing that could be done to prevent things from reaching this point.

Everything is the same as in real history.

In his A Tale of Two Cities, Dickens focused on criticizing the frenzied and bloodthirsty side of the Revolution, and also ended the novel with a verse from a French female poet with ulterior motives:

Freedom, how many crimes are committed in your name.

Although An Ning did not like the British, he also knew that the real revolution did have a bloody side.

He originally wanted to work hard to prevent tonight's events from becoming like that.

That's it, that's it, let it go.

An Ning thought this, and Christina came over.

She jumped off the horse and rushed to An Ning, grabbing his shoulders with both hands: "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." An Ning smiled, "By the way, I have a gift for you."

As he spoke, he pointed at Louis XVII who was thrown unconscious on the ground.

"I brought your brother out."

Christina's almond-shaped eyes widened and she opened her mouth from ear to ear in surprise.
